Our family of 4 have been patients at Family Vision Care of Richmond for 12+ years, mostly seeing Dr. Daylor but also others as needed. We have always found the office staff very pleasant, proactive with our eyecare and vision, and very accommodating with attention to the details of each of our needs. We recently moved to Richmond and had not yet gotten established with an eyecare office. My husband had an issue with his eye being red and irritated. On my daughters recommendation we called Family Vision Care of Richmond and we are sure glad we did. We got an appointment with Dr. G within two hours of our call. I cant say enough about this office. Everyone is friendly and professional. The office is very beautiful with the most up-to-date equipment and technology. Now to the doctor. From the moment he walked into the room, my husband and I were both very comfortable. He is very knowledgable, explains everything carefully and has a wonderful bedside manner. If it is possible to enjoy a doctor visit, we did. A great big thank you to Dr. G and the entire office.

I always have a great experience when I come here. I may wait about 10-15 minutes after I arrive but thats not an issue. I love Dr. Leroux, hes so friendly and really explains everything so that you will understand. I wish I could see him every month as opposed to once a year.

Amazing staff and service. There are cheaper mail order glasses options, but they know their stuff, stand by their products and work, and help you pick out what works for you and looks good, they adjust everything to make sure the glasses sit comfortably on your face. They are a one stop shop when it comes to eye care, both from a checkup standpoint and getting your glasses.

Overall eye exam experience was WONDERFUL!!! Dr. G is very thorough taking the time, care, and patience to listen to my issues check out my eyes very thoroughly, and double check prescription for extreme accuracy. The staff person “assisting” me with new frames, however, left something to be desired...assistance. I would provide 2 or possibly 3 stars to the latter individual.

I always have a good experience here. Dr LeRoux is always a pleasure but this time I add Maddy(or Maddie) to the list. She was the person that provided my initial screening tests, etc. She was so personable and friendly I felt like we had known each other for a long time. You dont see this very often and it just makes the overall experience more pleasant.

I hadnt had good luck with contacts prior to coming here and they found a solution for me in no time. His staff is fantastic, especially his assistant Siggy.

I have had nothing but incredible experiences since I started going there. My wife has been a patient since she was a child, and for good reason. We brought our son for his first eye checkup as a baby and that was a really neat trip. I recommend them to anyone and everyone that needs a good optometrist.

Yesterday was my first time here and I am ABSOLUTELY in love! Dr. Matsko is amazing, as are all of the staff members I had the pleasure of dealing with, including the assistant who did all my appointment prep (Kristy I think), the woman who helped me order my glasses, and the woman who checked me out. I did not feel rushed, the office is clean and everyone is professional, and Im just overjoyed to have found a wonderful optometrist! Cant wait to bring my kids. :)

Dr. Sam saw my 4 year old daughter for a team evaluation to determine if patching would be appropriate. Dr. Sam was well informed of up to date data and provided information to me in a clear way. Great first visit with Dr. G for my son who is a teen w Down syndrome & autism. Dr. G was very respectful of him, and interacted very well with him. Dr. G certainly presumed competence and my son responded exceedingly well. Dr. G was thorough and patient, and great at providing explanations for his recommendations.

I was able to reschedule my appointment at practically the last minute which was incredibly helpful.Dr. Leroux is always thorough and provides information to me, the patient, in a helpful way. He makes sure I understand how my vision is changing as I age.The optician staff were especially helpful. I cant say enough positive things about them. And, they were kind enough to deal with a rebate issue for me. I really appreciated that.

We have been going to this practice for 8 years and highly recommend it. The staff and doctors are friendly, personable, and remember who we are from visit to visit. The contact lenses are at a competitive enough rate so that we order directly from them rather than trying to go through a discount website. If prescriptions change, they refund and replace whatever lenses are unused. The doctors have gone out of their way to fit us in when we have had the need for sick visits. Great service, great medical care!

I absolutely love this practice. Dr. Michaels and his staff take time to show genuine concern, as well as ensure my comfort as a patient. As a contact lens wearer, it is not always easy for me to find lenses that are comforatble. Dr. Michaels searched high and low for a brand that came in my prescription, and that was comfortable for long wear. I was amazed! From the billing department down to the techs, I am very pleased. I feel like a real person here, not just another number. I am glad that I chose this practice.

Id give them a Net Promoter Score of 100 (anything above 75 is exceptional). The office fit me in within 3 hours for an acute concern and I may have sat in the waiting area for 5 minutes. The appointment staff were friendly and engaging. The preliminary testing was done quickly and efficiently and Dr. Matsko was super nice and thorough. The office is clean and comfortable and I thought the experience was done with laser precision. As for my acute concern? Well, turns out Im old and need glasses. So yay, I guess.

This was my first appointment at this practice. They were able to get me in within a few days of requesting an appointment. Ive been getting an annual eye exam for 20 years and have never been to a more outstanding practice than this. The office is absolutely beautiful. I received several texts reminding me of my appt. It was very evident that this is a practice that goes the extra mile to stay up with technology. Ive never been to a practice had such up to date tests and equipment. Dr Doyle was really personable. Everyone I encountered was very friendly. I felt like my appointment lasted a long time but wasnt bothered by it in the least bit. I was very impressed and highly recommend this practice!!!

Four years ago I was having major problems with my contact lenses and when my Optometrist wasnt able to satisfy my need for a sound reason as to why I was having these issues, my wife suggested I go see her eye doctor for a 2nd opinion. I cant tell you how glad I am that I took her advice! Dr. Poling is both personable and knowledgeable; in fact the entire staff is always friendly and welcoming and all do a great job of answering any and all questions. They frequently add new equipment and the new office is both spacious and clean, complete with a kid friendly waiting area. I have and will continue to recommend them to others.

Some family members highly recommended Dr. Daylor and Dr. Matsko. When I happened to have pain, redness and swelling in my eye the receptionist was able to work me in the very next day. The technician really calmed me. He was professional and proficient. Dr. Matsko was kind, personable and very thorough. She was able to detect an abrasion on my eye and prescribed eye drops. I was really happy with my experience at Family Vision Care. There’s no question in my mind if I’d go there again! Most definitely a great choice for my family and me!
