Shopping at Rooms To Go was a great experience. It was our first time in store and Robert H. took excellent care of us. He gave us our space to browse on our own but was readily available when we had questions. Quality of merchandise was high and prices were outstanding. Definitely will visit again for future purchases.

I want to thank Robert Harmon for his quick response to my request for a club chair cover. I love the outdoor patio furniture that we purchased in 2019. My wife and I came into the store for the first time and was met at the door with a warm greeting by Terry Whitney. He did a great job with explaining the ins and outs of the store. Even though we came in within the last hour of the day, we never felt rushed. We showed Terry a few options that we narrowed down and he did a great job of breaking everything down to us and what options we had with each piece. We did not make a purchase that evening.When we came back a week later, we ran into Terry and told him what our final decision was. He continued to guide us through the buying process and was very detailed with all of the information that he provided. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back again.

I went to about 4 different furniture stores and The Room Stores had what I was in search for. They had a wider selection and a better selection of living room furniture. Terry Whitney was very helpful, polite, respectful of my time and space. He wasnt pushy like a couple of the other salesmen at the other stores. He let me roam around the store at my leisure. In the end I chose a very nice living room set that Im going to thoroughly enjoy. He gave me all the information I needed on when my shipment would be available and I was able to choose the date of delivery. Thank you Terry for everything you did for and with me today. I would go elsewhere. My whole experience was horrible after I handed over cash for a sectional a month ago. The wait times are 30+ minutes to speak with someone. On top of the delivery being delayed, my sectional was “missing” a cushion. Called them today & the representative cannot locate a supervisor to take my call. It’s been one thing after another. Never using them for anything & I do not recommend. Disappointed with my whole experience. My one cushion could take up to 90 days to be ordered if they don’t have it in stock. Don’t waste your money or time.

I made a phone call to Customer Service at Rooms To Go in Glen Allen, Virginia. I needed to take the back off of a Eric Church Highway to Heaven recliner. Patrick answered the phone. He was very polite, helpful, and even gave me his personal phone to send him a picture of the back of the chair to give me better directions. He took a video of the back of the recliner located at the store to show me the place to release the back from the base and even narrated how to do it. Patrick went above and beyond to make sure I could get this done. My husband is in a wheel chair and so he only has limited abilities, so I needed good directions to achieve this feat. Please pass this on to Patricks Manager and hopefully he gets an At A Boy from someone there at the store.Thank you Patrick and you are appreciated by this family!

I renovated my Condo earlier this year and been without living room furniture since. I have been to countless furniture stores and searched endlessly online. My original furniture was purchased from Rooms To Go 16 years ago and I wanted to try something different. Little did I know, I would drive 2 hours to the closest Rooms to Go and find the perfect sofa, with the help of Ed Reflogle. My preference is to support black owned businesses or at least support Black Salespeople. However, Upon entering the Richmond location, Ed was first in line to welcome us and was a superstar from beginning to signing the final document. I am hopeful once the product is delivered the 4 stars will remain in place. Thanks Ed for being a Great at what you do!!

He was not pushy at all, he asked great questions, got our budget, got an idea of our style, and then walked us directly to several pieces that fit exactly what we were looking for. He was super pleasant to work with and really knew his stuff, in-stock numbers, wait times on certain pieces, he just knew it off the top of his head. Normally when my wife and I are shopping together or considering a big purchase we will ask for some time to ourselves to talk the decision over and make sure were not doing anything impulsive - with Robert we were so at ease we just talked our options out and made the decision. If you read this and plan to shop at this location, go out of your way to make sure you work with Robert, hes a credit to salesmen.

My husband and I were pleased to encounter a sales associate that was NOT pushy and allowed us time to decide for ourselves what we wanted. This is a great location with a vast selection and varying price points. I really like how the showroom is set up (apparently very meticulously and then maintained as such). The layout really helps you to visualize the space for comparison to what you have at home. Look for Ed (you can request a salesperson when you enter if you know one). He was a medic in the army and is patient, kind, and very accommodating as he meticulously looks at options that might fit your needs including looking at which sectionals can be modified and crunching the numbers as it relates to size and cost. He also knows the inventory like the back on his hand.

This place is great. We had great options and friendly service, especially from Mr. Terry. He was awesome, he went above and beyond for us and I’ll totally recommend him to work with.

Robert H. was right at the door to assist us in finding two specific outdoor patio pieces we had scouted online. The store itself was neat, organized, well light and followed COVID-19 regulations. All staff were masked and social distancing was practiced. Robert directed us to the right place, immediately identifying the selections we were looking for. He answered all of our questions on the quality and care of the furniture and provided the details for the warranty coverage. The quick delivery time was what sold us. I actually went into the store w/my sister as she was buying furniture. I had no plans to buy anything. I had ordered a sofa from a competitor and was having issues getting it and then getting it delivered. To complicate things it either needed to be delivered to my house by 8/5 or it would have to be delivered from their store in the VA Beach area because of my daughter moving for school. I mentioned to Robert Harmon, who had helped my sister with her purchase that I had seen several sofas in Rooms To Go that were better quality and even cheaper than the one I had ordered. He quickly showed me what was in stock that I liked and setting up delivery for either place was so easy. Robert Harmon was awesome to work with!

As I entered RTG I was greeted by Ruth. She was very polite and professional. As I selected the the bedroom set I noticed that Ruth was very knowledgeable of the set I selected. She was very patient, kind and friendly. With the knowledge she had for the various items that I purchased I would have never known that she was a new sales representative. Whosoever trained Ruth did an excellent job!

Katherine was a complete pleasure to work with. I came in about an hour before they closed and she stayed late to help me. I even changed my mind several times, but she had unwavering patience. I’d definitely shop here again because of her. She excelled at providing great customer service.

We had went to Haynes and Value City Furniture beforehand and had the worst customer service ever at those two stores, so Rooms To Go was like a breath of fresh air. Darren Lacks greeted us and was awesome. He helped us find what we wanted and didn’t hover over us but was always close by when we needed him. I bought a sectional that day and am happy about my purchase. It was my first time ever buying/financing brand new furniture and Darren helped me understand every step of the way. I’d definitely recommend Rooms to go for both their great customer service and good prices.

We would like to commend not only Robert Harmon, but the entire staff at Rooms To Go. From the moment we walked in the doors we were taken care of and never pressured into any decisions. The store was exceptionally clean and organized while the staff was especially helpful and courteous. We can’t wait to have our new furniture delivered!

We went here yesterday and nobody spoke to us the entire 30 minutes of us being there, despite the fact that there were 11 employees standing around talking to each other and only glancing at us.. When we went in today, Robert Harmon was prompt to greet us and helped us during the whole process if purchasing our furniture. As soon as I walked through the door Sara M greeted me. I told her what I was looking for and she walked me through some great options. She allowed me to walk the store to browse the inventory on my own, which is what I prefer. When I was ready to make a decision on my purchase, Sara was thorough and helpful making the process incredibly easy.Before arriving at Rooms to Go, I had been to Haynes and Ashley furniture stores. I was pleasantly surprised that Rooms to Go had the best selection at the best prices, and the staff won me over thanks to Sara.

Let me start by saying that I seriously hate going into furniture stores because you can never shop in peace. However we needed to see some furniture in person for our new home. The day we went, we met with Andrew. He was beyond knowledgeable and was able to guide us to every piece we wanted to see. When it came down to financing he went above and beyond to make sure we had enough to cover our purchase. He never pushed us to buy more and even helped find way to bundle and save. When I wanted to make a change, he was there and did so quickly. As long as Andrew works here, we will continue to buy our furniture from this location.
