We bought a mattress a couple months ago at this store (they share the same parking lot as Trader Joes) from Ed Katz and Laurie. Ed was our primary contact. He was great. Very attentive, not pushy, and helped us get a great mattress. We stopped in this afternoon to say hello and thank them for an excellent buying experience a couple months ago and let them know how much we like the mattress. While purchasing a mattress isnt a frequent occurrence, Ed made it a pleasure doing business with them. He and Laurie are a great team and we highly recommend buying from them in youre in the mattress market. They are top-notch professionals.

Came in originally thinking we wouldn’t need any assistance, but were blown away but the outstanding customer service. We used their new bedmatch software scan to find out what bed would fit us both comfortably with our sleeping position & patterns. My wife and I ordered a new bed from here shortly after moving to this area. Ed Katz and Laurie are the employees that we dealt with - I believe Ed is the manager and Laurie is one of the reps. They were both extremely kind, easy to talk to and they didnt make us feel pressured to find a bed. After tirelessly looking around on a Saturday, they were the last place we stopped and we were worn out after looking and trying out at least 20 beds that day. After telling them what we were looking for and what our sleeping needs and preferences were, the first bed they showed us was the winner. Theyre professional, knowledgeable about their products and again, easy to talk to and they didnt make us feel pressured to purchase anything. The transaction and delivery was smooth. I purchased a CalKing and a mattress cover. The store: Short Pump, at Glen Allen, VAI’m satisfied with the mattress, and the purchasing process. The salesman was knowledgeable, and never pushy.However this is a skilled salesman stuck in a bad reputed company.The delivery didn’t happen on the scheduled date and was pushed back 1 week. We basically wasted 2 weekends having to stay at home waiting.We also purchased a mattress cover, they didn’t have it in store, which was fine and we agreed to come back 5 days later to pick it up, but they pushed back the date twice, and after 2 weeks, when I went to the store to pickup (3rd time) they didn’t have it. Instead offered a different one in replacement, which I don’t like because the fabric feels totally synthetic, but I had to take it, because after 3 attempts I am not sure this company was going to fulfill their promise.Overall I’m very disappointed, and I’m still astonished how they managed to make a sale and lose a customer at the same time.I don’t recommend this company at all

Buying experience at the store was excellent. Delivery of the product however was a disaster. Guys didnt take shoes off so hard to clean carpet and it had rained outside. Dragged wet, dirty mattress plastic on floors and walls. Left and I went to test my bed lift and it did not work. Call them as they went down the road and said they could not do anything for me. I just bought received it. Are you kidding! Had to contact the manufacturer and even though I purchased the warranty they didnt even do anything for me. Probably will not buy there again

Process was quick and easy. I got a frame and boxdpring and it was delivered in 2 days. My only concern is they were late on the delivery time and didnt contacte. However you can track your delivery online.

Me and my wife walked in, got twenty feet inside the store before a grey haired, heavy set middle aged man ambushed us. He got really close in my personal space, keep asking a billion questions to which my response was were just looking (seven times) and wouldnt leave us alone. He couldnt take a hint. He went on about some nonsense so we both just left. Point? If you just want to look youll have to tell the sales staff to bugger off because they honestly dont know how to leave you be. Im not sure if thatll be sufficient though because the guy seemed rather mentally gone blathering on. He straight up ignored the woman trying to get his attention. As for my mattress woes?Next day we got up, drove to white marsh outside of Baltimore and got a mattress from IKEA. We picked out the Holmsbu and the staff left us alone... unlike this place.Advice to the management? Never start a sale with prices(let they customer see the product and produce a liking towards its features), never crowd a customer(The product should always be the center of attention for your customer - not a self absorbed sales man telling stories or asking a billion questions), let the product speak for itself and if they say theyre just looking respond with my name is blank, just let me know if you have any questions and Ill be happy to answer them.

Do not ever buy from this Mattress Warehouse location. The manager and employees at this location will not treat you with politeness or respect. After buying two luxury mattresses at this location, you would think that the manager, Richard, would treat you with a tiny bit of decency, but unfortunately that is not the case. All he will do is give you fake promises and phony apologies. Save yourself the pain and never shop here. If you do, youll leave feeling cheated, lied to, and disrespected.

This place sucks and the guy was horribly rude and boastful about his mattresses I came in and told him plainly I was looking for a foam queen mattress and he told me they priced anywhere from $10,000 on down what a smart ass then I asked him to compare his to the ones I had found online 4 in the two to three hundred price range he mocked me and all of the mattresses on the internet and all of the star ratings and told me that his cheapest one was 450 needless to say I left as quickly as possible as he tried to argue with me the whole way out the door Ill definitely never be back
