Nice little eclectic coffee shop with a big outdoor seating area. They had some live music playing while I visited too which I thought was awesome. No indoor seating as the actual shop is quite small, but the patio has a comfortable atmosphere. Good cold brew and a sweet variety of fresh roasted coffee beans to purchase. I always appreciate seeing shops with their own locally roasted coffees.

Love their patio. Could take my kids and not worry about them because it is enclosed. They treated my friends children super good and were very understanding.

I LOVE this coffee place! The drinks are super tasty, as are the pastries. The employees are very polite. Theres live music sometimes! The patio is beautiful and the plants are well taken care of. ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE (its already amazing for the aforementioned reasons) IS THE LITTLE WILD PARROTS THAT VISIT THE BIRD FEEDERS! Rosy-faced lovebirds feed with the finches. I cant stop riding about how delicious theyre cold brewers! I love that they change out a specialty flavor every other week. Root beer flavored cold brew was phenomenal!!! I cant wait to see what they come up with next. They are the reason I go to the Gilbert farmers market every other week.

Highly recommend the pastries. The cinnamon roll is rich, the triple berry scone is dense and buttery, and the cheese danish is probably my favorite flakey and creamy treat. Coffee was also great.

It was hard to find and no indoor seating on w/es. Nice little yard Sat am with umbrellas & chairs as well as live entertainment. No food and nowhere to get out of the heat unless I left--so I did.

The atmosphere and location is amazing. Theres a small amount of seating inside but majority is outside and in the shade. I enjoy coffee but Im cant speak to the quality of the coffee since a lot of it tastes similar to me. But to go there for a meeting or to hang out with friends I highly recommend it.

Coffee in a garden setting!Love this setting, its truly a peaceful and relaxing environment. My wife and I enjoyed a coffee, espresso and of course a scone while listening to a young musician entertain us with some great background music. Bergies is set back slightly off the main road in downtown Gilbert and right near all the action.Dont forget to ask about their loyalty program.

Good coffee, beautiful patio. Plenty of birds in trees to look at. Many people walking by so you can people watch! We brought a game of Skip-Bo with us and had a wonderful time sitting there playing it. I think if you brought a chess game or a Uno game you have a wonderful time with that too, please bring your friends

You cant top this little historical place with its charming garden patio. Even though no inside seating, theres plenty outside. I have been a longtime patron. I very much like the whole bean selection offerred as well as their full coffee, espresso, smoothie, and tea selections. Add a delectable snack from their case and enjoy the patio ambience. Well worth the time!!

Well we wanted to enjoy ourselves with the patio but that didn’t happen. My first time here and We were starting to enjoy our coffee and pastries at a table we found. We were Rudely told by boss lady 15mins later to move from the table we were sitting at because it “reserved for the band” that hadn’t set up yet. There was nothing on the table to state that and gave no other tables to move to. She Could have gave us the chance to finish the treats and we would have kindly moved. Again The band wasn’t even set up yet. Wont be coming back, neither will my coffee friends. Better coffee around Gilbert.

Bergies is my go to place when I want to sit and work on online task. The two patio areas are shaded with plenty of seating options. Nice plants and decor. Love the smell of the coffee being roasted. They offer plenty of drink options and pastries. Staff are always friendly.

I always support local! Small, quaint, historical (the building... the business is 10 years old). Delicious specialty coffees and blends made to order. Even their decaf is ground fresh for me. Inexpensive and tasty compared to *ahem* other coffee places.

Very rude service today! We were in the middle of enjoying our coffee and pastries when a woman who worked at Bergies told us we had to move immediately because the musicians needed the front 2 tables empty. The musicians were not even set up yet and they had no other tables open for us to move to. The table we were at did not have a sign saying we could not sit there. She was incredibly rude to us and I doubt we will ever come back!

Coffee was very good. Took quiche home for the better half and she loved it. Will probably try the cinnamon bun on next visit. Loved the outdoor seating and bird watching, as well as people watching.

Very neat and cozy spot. Prices are ok. Selection of snacks and drinks is more than enough. Casual, relqxing atmosphere. Nice for quick meetings when its not too hot, but they have trees and umbrellas for shade. Also this was the only place that was opened before everyone else openes up at 11am.

The coffee is unique! And great. The fact that they roast on site allows them to perfect a great flavor. I got the large red eye which is espresso and coffee, so much different that i had to leave a review. I’ll be back to sample more of this delicious uniqueness

This was one of the most unique coffee spots I have ever been. My only complaint is the wifi was insufficient and slow. However, if youre here for the Wi-Fi thats the wrong focus. This is a beautiful location with a quality coffee product and friendly staff. A great place to sit with friends or just to relax on your own. I will definitely be back if in the area. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

The birds on the patio are awesome. And several people on the patio had super well-behaved dogs. It was a great place to sit and chat

What a great spot to stop and have a cup of coffee. They also have great fresh pastries to go with it. It doesnt feel exactly like hour downtown Gilbert. Its nice and quiet. I spent an hour and a half there just working.

Nice small place. I drink tea and cant have caffeine. They have some nice decaf options unlike most places. Blueberry Zen Herbal is good. Get there early if you dont want to wait. Across the street from Snooze downtown Gilbert.

Bergies Coffee House in Downtown Gilbert is a really great place to grab a cup of coffee, a snack, and just chill out. The weekend mornings are especially nice! There is usually Iive entertainment, and the people watching is good fun. Its definitely a hidden gem. You should check it out for that old school Gilbert vibe!

Drink tried: vanilla latte. Bergies has a super cool and chill vibe; its mostly outdoors. Very dog-friendly 🐶. The coffee was fantastic, the staff was really nice. This is a great place to meet friends on the weekends, but not ideal at all for studying. The decor outside is super inviting, theres a lot of cool seating arrangements, and they have live music on Saturdays.

Repurposed old bungalow, garden, roastery, cafe. They respect the coffee, show local artists work, hold music nights outside. Its small cozy, low key, eclectic beach shack kind of vibe, and the people are nice. They have regulars, the kind that read the paper out loud and comment loudly about current events if thats your thing. Given the choice, I choose Peixoto beans but Bergies offerings are a convenient second, especially since they offer a range of beans vs only varieties that have been roasted beyond recognition *coughstarbuckscough*. I recommend the Guatamala (shown here as a pourover with almond milk)! When I bought a growler of cold brew I got a complimentary bag just because. Always feel welcome there, despite not being a regular.Accessibility: parking is in the back and the disabled spots are few. The garden area has packed gravel, but there is a ramp into the shop itself from the sidewalk. The seating immediately inside is bar height, but there is regular height comfy seating in a room further back and on the patio.
