Very disapointed to be honest, what I received was not what I was expecting based on pictures I saw on google and other shaved Ice I have had in the past. I ordered a Dreamcicle flavored shaved ice and was given what best I could describe as a very very overly sweet slushy (impossible to eat with a spoon) that was not even past the rim of the foam cup. I also ordered sweet creme and i can see no evidence of cream at all. Needless to say I threw this away when I got home.

Takes forever to get a simple snowcone. We waited for a solid 35 minutes before we got our order (3 snowcones). Kids were kinda rude as well and just didnt have an urgency to get people in and out, but thats a younger generation thing. It was also dirty/sticky inside and the ice quality for the snowcones has gone down. Its just not the same as it used to be.

You will absolutely get more for your money than anywhere else in Georgetown. The owner and his employee (I think her name is Hannah) were very nice. Chatted about Jesus for a few minutes and they answered all the questions I had on the different stuff they serve there. I got a milkshake and two scoops of ice-cream. And boy was it wonderful. I love a good chacolate shake. It was made with actual ice-cream and milk. Watched them put it all together. It tasted just like an ice-cream shake should. Having a Rich taste of the chocolate ice-cream they used.SO YUMMY!🤤If I had to give constructive criticism, it would be that a little too much milk was used in the shake. Causing it to be less thick than a shake should be. As a consequence the shake became too runny too fast. Turning more into a chocolate milk than a chocolate shake. But hey, come on, Im cutting hairs here. Plus I wasnt able to drink it for about 10 minutes after they made it. So my tardiness, on a hot day, didnt help the cause. And a tinny error like that is easy to fix and is definitely Not going to keep me from coming back. On top of that, I am 100% certain they would have made me a new one to replace it immediately, had I asked them to. But I was already 10 minutes down the road before I started drinking it. LolOver all, I give this place a big thumbs up. Will Definitely be returning to try their ice-cream cookie sandwiches. If they are anything like their shakes Im in for another TREAT!Great job guys

The snow cones were great and the service excellent. My daughter had the rainbow 🌈 snow cone and it was the best rainbow snow cone I’ve tasted. We had other flavored snow cones with a scoop of ice cream and a banana split that were delicious as well. 🍧

I love the Strawberries and Cream dessert. Its delicious. They have a good selection of ice cream too. Tons of shaved ice flavors to choose from and they are big no matter what size you get. They also serve coffee and some other desserts like cheesecake. Friendly staff and very efficient even when busy.

Its a little hidden do keep your eyes open. Definitely a must go, I get the piña cola. Small size is enough for 1 person.

Called from the parking lot for a to go order due to the large crowd out front and they said i had to come in to order despite us trying to social distance. Said they wouldnt accept to go orders even though i was parked out front...also staff is not the nicest.

Delicious and generous portion for the snowcone, as usual. They have one of the good machines that makes the ice really smooth. The real snowcone. You can also get ice cream with toppings mixed in and other desserts and treats here. The owners and workers are always friendly. Love this place. If you are stopping by Georgetown and want dessert or a nice refreshing cold cone on a hot day, this place is for you.I also want to mention that the owner is a really good dude. Every time I have gone it, he has been super helpful and accomodating. I would also recommend the butter scotch ice cream on the holidays, absolutely bonkers.

We’ve wanted to give Hula Cowgirl a try for a while, so we stopped by today. Our daughter has Celiac, so we wanted to make sure some of their stuff was gluten free. However, when we asked if any of the sno cone flavors were gluten free, the employee seemed pretty clueless. She went and asked another employee in the back, then came back and said no flavors were gluten free. We left and went elsewhere. It’s pretty surprising that they wouldn’t offer anything gluten free as most shaved ice places do, but at least we know not to go back.

A little too far to make it a frequent place this is for sure giving my beloved Kawaii a run for their money.

This place was not at all like the photos. I asked for an ice cream sandwich and got a hard cookie (not even softened) and old frost bitten ice cream. The cookie was not like the photos at all. Prior to that I asked for strawberries con cream and they did not have the cream made for the strawberries and cream.

We heard about this place from our dentist 😉and went to get our standard shaved ice but nothing about it was standard! The kids got their usual, blue bubble but also got to choose and ice cream to put in it too, the options are endless. I don’t normally do sweets but they had a special called Nevada Sunset..it had fresh pineapple, 2 different shaved ice flavor as, and vanilla ice cream & it was delicious! They had also just made this awesome concoction called a Pavlova, baked Meringue, fresh whipped cream and strawberries that I took home from my husband...he let me have 1 bite before he devoured it, it was sooo good! We will be back before the week is done!

This is the perfect place to get your sweet fix fixed. They have a variety of sweet treats for all sugar lovers. From their caramel brownie to their vegan ice cream in a pint, this is truly the only place you can get these kind of treats in Georgetown. They are known for their Hawaiian shaved ice but offer what seems like endless creative desserts that fuse blue bell ice cream and Hawaiian shaved ice for an excellent sweet treat. I don’t even sugar very often, but when I have too intense of a craving to pass up, you’ll find me here.

Had the Arizona Sunset and loved it. The real pineapple and ice cream at the bottom was great. A large was definitely too big haha.

Amazing HUGE Sno Cones with an assortment of flavors! My favs are the fruit topped with cream! Owner Ray is a wonderful and fun person who loves making people smile with great service and delicious treats for the whole family!

This adorable little shop serving bluebell ice cream, shaved ice, homemade ice pops, and several other creations is perfect for dessert. Not sure why others have experienced less than optimal service. I think the service is great and often times the owner is running the register herself and is a very genuine, friendly woman. You can tell this business of hers is her baby and she’s passionate about making sure guests are happy!

Go on in and get a yummy snow cone / shave ice and do the hula. This place is just down the road from downtown Georgetown. The Aussie owner is very gracious and pleasant to talk too. The snow cones are amazing of course. I always order from the natural flavor menu including strawberry and lime side by side (not mixed) with a topping of whipped cream. Watch out for the brain freeze ! We get small which are very big, and they have planetoid sized large ones also. They have many more flavors that are not natural. Nice place.

Friendly staff, excellent selections, fresh tasting!! Most snow cone places use bottled syrup, but they use a lot of fresh blended fruits. I tried the suggested Nevada sunset, with vanilla ice cream, ice, fresh crushed pineapple, orange, strawberry, and pineapple, and sweet cream on top. The best shaved ice Ive ever had. I loved how you can see the strawberry seeds from the strawberry flavoring. Ive gone twice in a week and Ill be back again soon. Also super friendly staff that were nice and even gave samples of some of the flavorings.

So, I came in after a steaming hot day and an even hotter game of racquet ball at the Rec Center, I approached the counter, which could use more than one cashier but that’s besides the point. A nice Hawaiian shirt sporting young man was very nice and got me my shaved ice promptly. A bit expensive but nothing to complain about would go there again. No issue with bees, sticky surfaces but as with most sweet treat serving companies. I would and will come back again.

The best place for ice/ice cream try the key lime pie creme freeze it is amazing. The staff is excellent we bring everyone here. Customer service here was the best I have ever received ANYWHERE. When We walked in John greeted us with a big smile and was so friendly and explained everything to us so well. Oh and the ice cream was AMAZING!!!!!! I will for sure be back and recommend this place to everyone I meet.

Visited on a mommy and son date with my kiddo. They have great flavor choices, fresh ingredients, and great pricing. Go for the treats and come back for the friendly, quirky atmosphere that this local business has to offer. Spiderman plays hide and seek here too, see if you or your kiddo can find him!

Locally owned! And it has the best desserts for really great prices. And the shaved ice is literally shaved which makes it super fine and light. There are around 50 syrups to choose from, and about 8 different ice creams so there are so many different combinations to try! And if youre not sure what to get, the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly.

Helpful employees, and quality sugary goodness. This was my first visit, and wont be my last. Prices very reasonable, with a surprising amount of variety.

Awesome customer service!

Tasty Blue Bell ice cream and an overwhelming number of delicious shaved ice flavors. However what struck me more than the food was the staff. I dont think Ive seen a place with more openly happy and friendly workers than here. Upon hearing it was our first visit I think we got one of the most enthusiastic run downs of a product Ive ever been on the receiving end of. We were then remembered when we came back for our next visit. Good dessert, exceptional employees.

East Texas snow cones have nothing on these!!! Best snow cone I’ve ever had hands down! Will never be able to enjoy my local snow cones as much after this experience.

Best shaved ice I’ve had in a while with great customer service

The two employees were very polite and helpful when I told them it was my first time being at Hula Cowgirl. I decided to get a small (which was pretty big) and of half orange and half tigers with a sweet cream topping. It was delicious. My friend got a blue coconut with a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the bottom and the combo is awesome. There is plenty of bench and table seating and the location is fairly accessible. There are other dessert options such as homemade popsicles, pies, ice cream, and coffe/tea. The have a point system too so if you become a frequent customer you could earn rewards. Best snow cones I’ve had in a long time.

Pretty good place. Excellent pricing and selection. I personally find some of the flavorings not agreeable but it could be a personal sensitivity to the syrups. Overall if you like shaved ice this is the place to go.

We went for ice cream when the temp was 96°. As you would expect lots of people, but the line moved fast and we had our ice cream in a very short time. 8 or 10 options for the ice cream. Very delicious and satisfying. The staff was pleasant. Overall a very recommendable place.

I would have never guessed this place was here until I googled ice cream in Georgetown. Its tucked away in the little shopping mall in front of two rivers apartments. The sign says Hula Cowgirl Shaved Ice but they also have ice cream. My little cousin got cherry shaved ice and I got mint chocolate chip ice cream in a waffle cone. Both were fantastic and I give this place an A+. Stop by here sometime and check it out its worth it.

I just wish I could remember to take pictures before I dig in! As a Louisiana girl, I grew up going to the snocone stand all summer long. But since moving to TX, I just dont see them anymore. Maybe thats a fluke, but when I stumbled upon this place, I had to give it a shot. And boy am I glad I did!Snocones stuffed with ice cream and smothered in fresh fruit and whatever you like! Sooooo good! I keep planning to try the other options. But I cant pass up the Snocones. You wont regret checking this cute little shop out. The workers are super friendly as well and its not been busy when Ive gone.
