100% recommend! The coffee was delicious, the pour was generous, the ambiance cozy and artsy, and the food was great! My chicken salad sandwich was so good I forgot to take a pic before I chomped down 😂 It doesn’t get better than Coffee Break Cafe when it comes to attentive service. Plus the place is so cute you’ll want to keep coming back. Shout to Gina for making us feel so welcome on our first visit.

Cozy and comfortable, the Coffee Break Cafe offers the perfect environment for enjoying their caramel latte or ar any other Coffee beverage you might enjoy! The breakfast foods are wonderful, and definitely try the grits!! My husband and I will absolutely be going back to the Coffee Break Cafe on our next visit to Georgetown!

Great food, gigantic pancakes and delicious cinnamon roll. We stopped in briefly to grab a bite and it was well worth it. Staff was friendly, food came quick, very much worth the stop!

It was AWESOME AND FANTASTIC, people were friendly and food was fantastic, the hubby had a 8 pancake that was 2thick and very tasty, I had the homemade cinnamon roll. Try the hot chocolate its the bomb very very devious.

Good chef and food but very amateur staff who are not very attentive.

I would give it 50 stars if I could. I customized my three egg omelet (made from local farm fresh eggs I might add) and it was DELICIOUS! Even the owner went from table to table checking on the guests!

Great little comfy coffee shop, in the middle of the historic district, of Georgetown SC. Family Owned and operated, my coffee of the day, Honduran, was fresh ground, and brewed. A must stop for a java jolt.

Cool little place in downtown Georgetown. We were there when it opened and by the time we had our coffee made so we could leave (10 minutes or so) the decent sized breakfast joint was half full with more people walking in. They clearly cook a good meal otherwise this place wouldn’t this packed 15 minutes after opening.

Traveling with my husband and sister we decided to make a stop to the historic Georgetown district from our stay in Myrtle beach. Our vote was to find a great breakfast place for brunch time. We were extremely happy with our experience here. They were very covid conscious and the small venue offered both indoor or outdoor seating. The coffee served in a nice size mug was perfect! Strong and smooth. The breakfast was amazing. My sister and so enjoyed sunny side up eggs with toast and bacon with some amazing grits. My husband had the pancakes which he was pre warned were massive. They were indeed. Thick pancakes that had a very sweet flavor. He had plenty to share. The owner Ron was extremely friendly and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He gave us a drawn out map to get us to our next destination of Savanna Georgia. This route helped us avoid the heave traffic through Charleston.What a great friendly home like feel this cafe offers. Great pricing, big portions, flavorful food and great hospitality. We’re happy we made the cafe a stop on our day trip to Savanna.

My husband and I stopped here while in town. It has a great atmosphere and the dessert we got was great. The cinnamon bun was recommended and I loved it! My husband said the lemon pound cake was really good as well. Im going to make this a regular stop when Im in Georgetown.

Hubby ordered the Triple Deuce and I ordered the 3 egg omelet with veggies. My husband had 2 eggs over medium, 2 slices of crispy chewy bacon, and 2 slices of toast with grits. He said his food was delicious and cooked to perfection.Typical man Blah,Blah,Blah! I ordered a three egg omelet with spinach, mushroom, and Taylor Ham (We Northern New Jerseyans do not call it Pork Rollnor Canadian bacon its a point of contention in my household). My omelet was light, fluffy, and bursting with flavor natural flavors. My grits were super creamy and smooth, I dont know what king of magic they are putting into those grits but I would drive nearly 2hrs to get them! One word AMAZING!!!

I must admit I am writing this being very biased because I love South Carolina. Its my first trip down there and coming from Europe I did not know what to expect but honestly it is a beautiful place. I cannot stress enough how beautiful it is. That said this place made everything even better. We had a lovely breakfast this morning and everything was top notch. From the food to the drinks to the kind waitress( I am ashamed to not have asked her name but she was very young ). If you stop in the city and do not stop there then you will make a big mistake. Cute little coffee shop in a great location! We got coffee and a breakfast here, and the entire staff were lovely people. The coffee was great, and the food was awesome. The pancake was the biggest and fluffiest Ive ever had!

Great little shop. We were too late for the pancakes and had sandwiches. So good! I has the turkey wrap which came with the BEST potato salad ever! Had a Javachino to go which was lovingly made and delicious. We will be back on our next trip. Gotta try the pancakes!!

Great food and even better service

Do not go if youre in a hurry! Manager lady was nice and seated us after she noticed we had not been acknowledged, as the waiters continued to overlook us. Overdosed us on coffee refills but never brought out any food. We decided to leave after several others had been served that were seated 35+ minutes after us. Just overall bad experience with really no excuse other than they were busyIn my professional opinion 6 tickets should never be placed before the people that ordered first. Im assuming our waitress never turned in our order.

Cruising down the ICW and stopped in Georgetown. Such a great town! Coffee Break Cafe is the reason we have been here almost 2 weeks! Great coffee, good menu, but the owners and staff are amazing! So generous and friendly. They made us feel welcome from the first day we stepped in. We have been back every morning and sometimes also in the afternoon every day they are open. Go there! You will not be disappointed!!

Coffee is AMAZING!!! The food is delicious, and my whole family loves their tiny cupcakes they have at the register. They come in fun flavors, and they have mini cinnamon rolls. All of the staff members are super friendly, and they check on you frequently. Im so thankful the grumpy lady is no longer there.

The family and I went there to get a cup of coffee originally and we saw games so we sat down and played with our daughter and waited for a table to be cleaned off after that we sat down had a conversation with the couple across from us they got their drinks and a couple will across from us also got their drinks then to servers proceeded to get those first and my wife and I and daughter had been there for about 10 minutes and were not acknowledged or said were short-handed today itll be a few minutes I felt like we were ignored

Fantastic place to grab a bite and coffee with small children. Stopped in with my three and two year old, and had a great experience. There are toys to play with, a very friendly staff, a proper changing table (not a pull down), and spare diapers for really little children. The coffee was excellent and the food was yummy and the service was lightening fast!

Spent a few hours shopping in Georgetown. Had lunch at the Coffee Break Cafe. Delightful experience! The white bean soup is arguably the best soup I have ever tasted. Excellent chicken salad also. Dont miss this place!

Service was fast and friendly. Pancakes are different, each one is the size of a plate and over an inch thick. Truly a cake. Tasty but not typical pancakes. No need to order 2. The eggs were just ok. Served on the cold side. As was the toast but when isnt toast served cold! Sausage links were just warm. And Im sure you are really proud of your grits but add some potatoes to your menu.

Loved the atmosphere and the cashier was polite and thorough (verified what we wanted) with taking our order. The coffee itself was just okay. Not really worth the price, but overall the experience itself was pleasant enough.

5 stars for the atmosphere and warm reception upon entering. A man came up and greeted us almost instantly and was very cordial and inviting. The coffee was not very good though. It was way too watered down. Had they made it a stronger it might’ve been good, but it tasted more like hot water with a splash of coffee instead.

I was so impressed with the way I was treated today! I came in primarily in passing, as I was going to look at a boat in the area. I had to teach my final online classes for the day, in the area in order to make it to the boat dealership in time. I came from Summerville so naturally I arrived later than I hoped and was frantic when I went to the staff to ask for the wifi, reassuring them I would purchase something after teaching this class. They pleasantly provided me with it. A woman waitress even offered me water, checked on me, and informed me the wifi worked from outside too, as it was such a beautiful day! I really appreciated being treated this way, and on my trips out that way to take the boat out, I will definitely be back! 🙂

This is a cute little place on Front street and it had great reviews so we thought we were in good hands. However after being greeted by a sour older woman server it all went down hill from there. It took an hour to get 2 regular omelettes, we had to request water from the other younger server because ours just couldnt seem to be bothered to check on us. We finally decided to leave after watching table after table receive their meals and asked to cancel our order. Miraculously, at that point, our food arrived. We hate to waste food so we stayed and ate, besides we were hungry. The food was good and the coffee delicious but the service was so awful that I would never return or recommend this cafe to anyone.

Great find. Ashley took great care of us. One of the best pancakes Ive ever had! Big, fluffy, crispy on the outside, with a nice touch of cinnamon. Egg sandwich on croissant also perfect, with a tomato slice and some mayo of course.

We loved it, great coffee, muffins and service. Beautiful local artwork displayed along the walls. We will return.

The sweet woman who owns this store is very friendly, and pets are welcome here. She always treats my Josie to a Puppicino whipped cream that is safe for dogs. Love these folks for their great hearts!

The coffee was good. The atmosphere was good. The low review is for the bad service.My sister and I were coming through town and went in for coffee. We went to the counter and was told to sit and the waiter would take our order. We sat at a table for 10 minutes when the waiter came over and ask if we were waiting for anything. We told him we wanted coffee and he said we had to order at the counter. When we went to the counter the lady, she seemed irritated. There seemed to be poor communication between the employees.Everyone else in the coffee shop was eating food and was served very well. It seemed like a bother to serve us coffee. If I pass through again, I probably wont stop in.

Being from the Pacific Northwest, coffee is generally just not good here in the South East. Ive heard people bragging about their Starbucks addiction 😂🤣😂 This was a rich and subtly bitter coffee and they actually listened to me about only one pump of syrup 🥳.
