Matt was a definite hero for us. He went out of his way to help us with a oil replacement issue on our boat in the Georgetown harbor. His professional and common sense experience is something to take note. Many wishes for future success.

I was visiting town and was having throttle issues after a 5 hour drive so I searched for the highest rated places in the area and found this shop. After my experience there I can understand why it was so highly rated. Matt was very friendly to me when I was explaining the issues I was having. He was clear about pricing and communicating what the issue was, even had a nice conversation about Jeeps and things I may run into. Highly recommend.

These guys were so great. We had just arrived from Philadelphia to start our vacation and we unpack the car. Went back in the car wouldn’t start. Luckily my brother came on vacation with us and we were able to get a new battery and started right up. Unfortunately, The battery light came on when you would sit idle and go off when you would rev the engine or under power. Instead of getting stranded between Myrtle Beach in Philadelphia I took it over to those guys and they determined it was the alternator. I brought it back the next day for a quote on the parts and the labor. Knowing it was a rush job I was expecting the worst but they quoted the job at a reasonable price and have the work done a day before they said. Really appreciate them fitting us into the schedule as being on vacation without a vehicle was very stressful, but they put me at ease it was great to work with them. If I ever had another problem with my vehicle I would take it to JJ&E again.

The service here was amazing, even before I brought my car to be serviced I was attempting a at home repair, I called and asked questions and they helped me and gave me advice on the repairs and as much instruction as possible, which was a huge help. Then I had bought a new car and needed work done I immediately called him, I came in and had the diagnostics done, he told me it was my wheel bearing assembly, well no sooner then he told me he was on the phone, got the parts, and started breaking the car down, he gave me my husband and my 2 year old son home from the shop and then called and came picked us back up in 3 hours, my car was done in 3 hours, and done amazingly, I am very happy, and recommend this shop to anyone who ever needs any work done, they are honest people who do a great job .Thank you JJ&E for making my vehicle dependable and safe!

Take your car here, very honest people, do an amazing job and will get you the best price. A lot of shops lie and jack up the price, this place does not do that, great local shop. Knowledgeable mechanics.

Man these guys are great, I had an exhaust leak/rattle and also another leak in my rear differential fluid they fixed for me. What I really love about these guys is the fact that they are a little more personal. The guy working on my car let me watch him take my headers apart to find a screw stuck in it and the same thing with my rear end. I got to see every bit of it, he showed me the inside of my rear differential and it wasnt too pretty! If a mechanic wont let you watch while hes working he probably has some stuff hes trying to hide! A+ for these guys from me!

Another mechanic improperly repaired my Subaru Legacy. JJ&E mechanics were kind, talked me threw what was wrong, and even cleaned and gave me the bad parts from my car so I could report it to my insurance company (who had paid for the previous repairs). These guys were quick, efficient, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them!

I have to say, Stephen, Matt and Rob have gone above and beyond! Brought my car in. They diagnosed a timing chain issue, which happened to be a recall by Cadillac. They didnt have to...but they called Cadillac and did all the grunt work. They were told my car was covered they EVEN DROVE IT TO THE DEALER!! Unfortunately even though myrtle beach Cadillac told them to bring it AFTER being giving the VIN/mileage. The STEALERSHIP, turned them away. Im currently having GM open the recall for my vehicle as I was never notified until the guys at J&J -auto informed me. They are also letting my car sit at the shop... SAFE! they didnt have to do any of that! Ive always needed a go to shop in Myrtle and have never found one as dedicated to the customer OR that fought as hard for the customer! I will never recommend or go anywhere else! Yes Im a real customer and yes I can honestly say I have never been this impressed by service! I have found my PERMANANT SHOP! In town for weekend vacation, when we were ready to head back home our water pump was leaking. called the nearest shop lucky we were able to drop off the car. they were a great help. JJ&E made us feel welcomed, also offers us to relax till our ride showed up showed my son to the play room. I highly recommend JJ&E.

My car was hit at the parking lot. Horrible job they did to my car!!! Shame on you guys seriously? Left white paint on glass, door, 2 fingerprints?! They are late to return car, said it was 4 and eventually took weeks! I wish i never gave them my car it looked much better before with an accident dent!

Saw the reviews on Google and had my car towed here. I met Stephen at the shop and first impression was great...an honest, trustworthy person. I thought the issue was my alternator. As it turned out, it was the alternator belt that was missing or broke off. Stephen called and told me that it was just the belt that was missing and everything else was ok. Its hard to find an honest mechanic that you can trust. Based on the reviews and my experience, JJ&E seems to be that mechanic you can trust.

Went to them a few months ago and returning today for the same great service. Reasonable, helpful and friendly!!

We came from Indiana and on our way down we hit a large pothole, we heard grinding and rubbing so called jj&e and he got us in within the hour, gave us a quote to the penny even called uber to get us back to our hotel. Had it fixed in a couple hours and drove it to us. I highly recommend this business to locals and tourists. 5 out of 5 stars

These guys are awesome! It was a Saturday afternoon when I discovered my Benz Blk 550 was leaking coolant so I drove it over to JJ&E from the strip on the verge of over heating. There were 2 guys in the shop working on a few different things but they completely stopped what they were doing to help me. They made phone calls to every place in Myrtle Beach to try to find the hose my car needed, but with no luck. They said you can leave your car here, well keep it safe inside the shop and first thing Monday morning well get the part from the Benz service center. Well Monday morning came, they Stephen called, the service center didnt have it either. So they had to order the part of said it would come in Wednesday morning and they would get it on. My car was done and ready to make the drive back to Columbus before I even got checked out of my hotel Wednesday! Their customer service skills were great from start to finish, honest guys, no bs and they truly care. If youre in Myrtle and have car troubles see these guys!

They did really bad job, they painted the door different color the car is, and is full of white dots all around it.They took way longer that they promise.

Exhaust was falling off due to rust on my family vacation, the guys here were quick and fair on my repairs to allow me to still have spending cash for rest of vacation!! Would def go back.

Just FANTASIC CUSOMER SERVICE !!., what can I say, last day of our vacation golfing in Myrtle Beach and my Volvo had a misfire on a cylinder. We needed to leave in the evening and we rolled in at 3:30. Although they had customers and busy, Steve came out and checked out my car. Within 10 minutes he said no problem and had the part on order for me. My son and nephew strolled down to the Wendys for a burger and were heading back and I picked them up with the car ready to go. I can now go for the 14 hour drive back to Canada with my mind at ease. Most places would just overrcharge when you need last minute help.If you want good old fashioned, honest customer service this is the place to go! Its nice to find a place like this, what a breath of fresh air.
