Chris, Brandon and Dave are the best! Very through and I always feel good about leaving my car with them. Everyone has DEEP KNOWLEDGE about rotaries. I did an engine swap. They always take the extra time to care for whats being done and I received a book report on all the things that were done to my car and why. And to top it off, they can tune the RX8 ECUs now!New engine and 200WHP life!

I havent done any business with them yet but I will. They saved me from buying a lemon that came with an engine they built. They were able to give me a detailed history of the engine they built and advised me to look for something better. Because of them I now own a S5 in much better shape. Cant wait to get it there and sort all the minor mechanical details out.

These guys are fantastic. I had a pre-purchase inspection done on a third-generation RX-7 I was thinking of purchasing and they saved me from making a big mistake. Chris, the owner, immediately identified that the car had been in a front-end collision, and showed me all the signs of the damage. They take time to understand what goals you have for your car and are true enthusiasts.I have not had any work done here yet so will withhold judgement on that, but my first impression is very good. Hoping to have an FD soon to take to them for maintenance/servicing.

David worked on my car, a Mazda RX8. He was excellent. Extremely knowledgeable and always provided a great explanation of the best fixes for my car. This is one of the best car mecanics shops i have ever been to. I highly recommend this shop and David.

Chris has been taking care of (and extensively upgrading) my Gen 3 RX-7 for just shy of 25 years. I love that I always talk to him (not some service manager) about the car and that Mary has been running his front desk since I started coming to them. Businesses like these are unfortunately exceedingly rare these days--small owner-operated shops, evincing great pride in fine craftsmanship and expertise. Highly recommended

The only place Ill take my car (ok, one of the few I CAN take it to). They do consistently fabulous work, and I never feel like theyre just in it for the money like so many shops. Best place for any Rotary repair.I join the rotary world three years ago and have no clue in what so ever, but after my first attempted in rebuild a rotary it was success. with all help with the crew there (Dave, Chris, and Bradon) guide me through the whole process and I have learn a lot from Dave. Ive taken my Mazda RX-8 here countless times for minor and major repairs and every single time has been a breeze. These guys have impeccable craft and really put time and effort into their work. I love the transparency they offer in terms of explaining the scope of work theyre performing and what parts are required. Definitely one of the best and most ethical shops Ive ever worked with.

I have been bringing my 94 rx7 to rotary performance for 3 years for major service and upgrades. Not only are Chris, Dave, Mary, super knowledgeable they are always very kind and patient with answering all the newbie questions I have for them. These guys know what they’re talking about and will help you out whenever you need. this is the only shop I trust to handle my rotary they know exactly what they’re doing and only offer the highest quality craftsmanship and the only shop I know of that gives a warranty with their rebuilds.

I recently purchased a car that had an engine built by Rotary Performance and it had been some time since they had worked on this car (over 10 years). I called to ask a question regarding a fuel issue hoping by some chance they might have some memory of the type fuel pump they were usually installing in their builds at the time and not only did they remember the fuel pump, but they remembered the car specifically and helped me pinpoint the reason for the fuel issue over the phone ( which was a simple wiring issue) but had service notes from all the modifications and install from over a decade ago, most of which was just by memory. I live in Missouri and will be using them for any parts i might come up needing but if there was ever a situation that came up i was not comfortable tackling on my own, I would be willing to ship the car to them to have it done before choosing anyone closer to home. Great customer service and patience when someone calls with a hope and prayer on an issue 15 years old.

Ive been here twice. They know rotaries better than any other shop in the state. They are cheaper, more competent, and more knowledgeable than the dealers. I cant recommend them enough.

Badass customer service and staff. I didnt know I had to make an appointment but my fix was simple enough that they helped me out and squeezed me in. I will absolutely be coming back to these guys for my Rx8 needs from now on (with scheduled appointment of course).

Ordered premix from these guys. Within 24 hours I had a tracking number. Within 48 it had shipped. Package arrived exactly as described.Will definitely do business with them again.

Havent done business with them so I cant vouch or grouch about their abilities, only about the experience with them. Some of the guys were great and very informative to a friend inquiring about a build, but unfortunately one guy in particular that kinda soured the allure. I know being a specialty shop theres going to be a lot of loyalty to a specific engine or setup, but that, in the same token, can be a double edged sword for someone trying to build something to their own specific liking. They seem to be more like mechanical artists and less like a garage to build YOUR dream car. Basically give them the car and throw the money at them and theyll build you a masterpiece. My question is, would it be YOUR masterpiece, or just a commissioned work of vehicle art? Im not doubting in the slightest they can build some of the craziest rotary powered cars in the surrounding area, it just seemed, at least with one of the guys we talked to, you either let them build it exactly the way THEY want to build it, or take your car elsewhere. And that could be ok or even awesome for someone just looking for a finished product, but for others its kind of disengaging. All I can say is stop by and see for yourself.

Took my rx8 here to have a seal in the motor replaced, and to get new engine mounts. All repairs were completed in the same day and for less than half of what the local dealership had quoted me. Friendly people and quality service. DEFINITELY will be coming back here for any repairs in the future.
