Ive been coming back here for their pork belly banh mi. A little pricey but its delicious. I would say 1 banh mi is good for 2 people unless youre starving.

Had both their grilled pork and crispy pork sandwiches. The bread was fresh. The sliced cucumber and jalapeno were nice and crunchy. The meats were tasty.Edited: So the first time I showed up the pickles were carrots and cabbage and not that great. The second time around though they had the daikon radish and carrots and the sandwich tasted much better. Updated my review due to that.

Their food is good here. They have some vegetarian options on their menu but it is never in stock when I am there. -_- They still make good bánh mì, though.

Food tastes good, but thats no excuse for other shortcomings. Its hard to have great standards of service and cleanliness when much of the clientele is low-quality and inconsiderate. Pickle deserves some credit for at least trying.But I would say that you can do better. I would like to see tables cleaned between customers. And maybe if you are feeling generous, trust us with a god damned napkin dispenser.Food hygiene is another issue. Kitchen staff prepares sandwiches with their bare hands. Even by Vietnamese banh mi shop standards, this is unacceptable.

The most amazing Bahn mi Ive ever had. I love THH and Bahn mi 168 but this one takes the cake. The bread itself is so flavourful and the meat and veggies with the chile for spice. Its like a symphony of flavors exploding in your mouth, truly delicious 😋P.S. I add egg to my Bahn mi and they make it sunny side up. Definitely try it out, it will enhance the flavors all the more

Bun Bo + Bun Rieu are okay but when it comes to Canh Bun, they use cải (green veggie that’s not the right kind for this type of food) due to the pricing of it being expensive. If that’s the case, they should not offer Canh Bun on their menu if they dont have the right ingredients. Food here is pricey as well compared to other places. This bowl is $7.99 and it’s not done right. I suggest go to other specialty place if you want speciality food. It would be cook correctly and better and priced around $8-9. Here, the bowl is smaller size for the same price and in this case not even cook right with the wrong green veggie (no rau muong). Sandwiches are okay and roasted pork is a newly introduced concept since no other place has offer but the taste is nothing new or unique. Taste okay and I wouldn’t order it again. So far, only Bun Rieu + Bun Bo Hue are decent. Coffee is ok as well.

I got the Filet Mignon sandwich and I have say this is by far one the best Bahn mi sandwiches I have ever eaten. The sweetness of the cucumber mixed with the cilantro, bell peppers, carrots, onion and sauce(OMG THE SAUCE)! Everything was absolutely amazing!!!

My favorite banh mi place around.. I find myself here at least once a week. I wake up craving it!! number 4is my favorite plus Vietnamese coffee. The price is really good for the size of the sandwich Ive only gone through the drive-thru and the service is good. It will take a couple of minutes because its freshhh

Terrible service especially the employee named Binh L. We had to wait more than 30 minutes to receive the food.  Even though our food was ready, and it was left on the table, he deliberately didnt call us.  While ordering food, he also showed his poor service ability, as if there were a lot of customers here, you might not come, Im the king.  He talked to us like we just did something wrong with him.  I dont understand why he had such a poor service attitude.  This is the first that I encountered this case. Although the food was fine, I will never come back because poor service attitude affects my food taste.

Tried this place on a fluke, just wanted to try something different, boy was i pleasantly surprised, while its similar to Lees sandwiches they offer more traditional banh mi style sandwiches from what i can tell, and oh my gosh are they tasty, even had my mom try one the other day. which actually led to me ordering a bunch of sandwiches from them for Mothers day tomorrow. definitely check it out if youre interested in sandwiches that arent just meat and bread. these are soo refreshing and light.

The chicken patty and fish cake are amazing. Love the drive through option, especially during Covid. They keep ingredients fresh and run out when they run out, so get there early.

What is the point of telephone orders? I experienced a several occasions on telephone ordered delayed. I have learned that they don’t make it until you paid. Usually I order Banh mì Heo quay( bbq pork chop). Its not that healthy but hey, it’s taste good

We go here weekly for bánh mì and found quite a few delicious sandwiches. You can ask the person at the counter for popular ones. You wont regret with ice coffee with condensed milk.

Foods are good but service is slow. I placed an order over the phone and it took me 15mins to get there but my food wasnt ready. Furthermore, I wanted an additional 45mins!

Im a vegetarian and love their veggie sandwich (#9). The tofu they have in there is very flavorful. Also the service is fairly quick for drive through.

It was Saturday morning, July 27, 2019. I came here to buy the classic sandwiches for my family. There was a Horrible customer service at drive through. I bought 5 classic sandwiches. I requested to have every single sandwich was warped separately with the vegetables on the side since I wanted to give the sandwiches to all my nieces and nephews. The cashier refused to wrap the sandwich separately with vegetable on the side with an excuse that the business is very busy, no time🙄. Then I bought only one sandwich. Now he agreed to leave the vegetable on the side since he had only time for only one sAndwich. The cashier guy didn’t care about his owner’s business. I guess that he only cared about his paycheck unfortunately.There are lot of delicious Vietnamese sandwich stores around Orange County. Avoiding this place, saving your time of headache!

I go to this place like 2-3 times a week for their coffee. Service is great,and the food is great too. Definitely authentic. I love how its drive thru,so I can grab breakfast and coffee and go straight to work. Their banh mi sandwhiches are next level delicious! Big size portions and very tasty

The sandwiches are great! They have flavor and are delicious, in my opinion. There are problems with the drive-thru, though. Sometimes, they forget your order and you have to go inside of the building to get your food.

Service is fine, but this place is a bad spot in my opinion, to get authentic banh mi. In banh mi, each element in the sandwich must shine in their own way, but blend together for a good taste. This place barely puts any ingredients in and all you can taste is the sugary bread and the old protein. They put their meat options in front with no refrigerator or heat lamp. This place is pricey too. Definitely not recommend this place and there are better options in little Saigon.

This place is bomb diggity. Their bo luc lac combo is pretty good. Fries were crispy, meat was nicely marinated, awesome service by super friendly cashiers, clean restrooms, outdoor seating, and the best crispy pork belly sandwich ever, a must try!

The place is clean and the service is cordial. The overall food presentation and taste is good. However the sandwich prices are on a high side.

Service was subpar and and quite rude. I was being ignored and waited at the counter for several minutes before someone came up to take the order.. The banh mi I got was not toasted so the bread was chewy and tasteless. Wont revisit this place anytime soon

This place I give 0 stars for the reason they totally ignored me when I went in to pick up an order for a doordash delivery. I have completed over 600 deliveries and never have I been ignored when picking up an order. I was standing in their pick up delivery section. Employees passed by me and looked, but never acknowleged me. I moved closer to the cashier and she never looked at me, kept taking orders for customers coming in the door. So I went to drive through to get the order since they obviously didnt care I was waiting to be helped, whuch caused a delay in my order and delivery. I will never go to this place again. Rude

Ive gone here many times since the Grand Opening but I forgot to leave a review. I just realized that I gave the second store a review on Grand Opening Day but never wrote one for the first store. The staff at Pickle are all very nice, attentive & super friendly. They all made sure that I always got everything that I wanted exactly how I want it. I love it! Theres so many places to go nowadays so Id pick the places that cares about both the food & customer satisfaction.Again, both locations are pretty consistent with their drinks. The Jasmine Milk Tea is the bomb dot com! Its perfectly fragrant & just the right amount of milk & sweetness so that I can enjoy the taste & smell of my tea! Im very impressed because I cant find a better cup of tea in this town thats made exactly to my taste buds.The Vietnamese coffee did not disappoint. Coffee is very competitive in this town & Pickle Banh Mi knows how to do it right. Perfect balance of bitterness & just the right amount of condensed milk. I can taste the coffee & the milk. Again; its not too sweet & perfect balance on my taste buds.The bread/baguette smells really good. Its crispy on the outside but so fluffy soft in the inside. I always order the Xui Mai (Meatballs) & I love that it just melts in your mouth! I also like the Thit Nuong (Grilled Pork) which has the perfect aroma of char & tastes savory! I also get their Dac Biet (The Classic) which was also very tasty & I love that they load it with my favorite creamy pâté paste.Im not a fan of Banh Mi because I never found a place that I can say that I like. I just eat it for the convenience whenever Im on the go. Its easy & better than the other fast food alternatives. Theres finally a place in town that will keep me coming back for Banh Mi with 2 locations!
