If your looking to get your car tuned I 100% recommend. There tuner is super cool and extremely informative. They spent 3 hours tuning my 2013 sti and im extremely impressed with how much better it is running and how they were able to get more power out of it. The gentlemen upfront are extremely friendly and always willing to answer any questions you may have. If your looking for an all wheel drive tuning place andrewtech is the place for you.

First off ATA is one of America’s top Subaru shops and their craftsmanship and reputation speaks for itself. I brought my vehicle to Andrewtech for a motor build, transmission rebuild and dyno tune. Riyaad is always pleasant to work with and makes sure that you get everything you need and communicates with you throughout the process. Their work was phenomenal and I have been very happy with the end result. If I ever encountered any issues and/or had a question, they were readily available to assist. Riyaad even responded to an email on a Saturday evening after my car was out of their shop and in my possession. To me they are focused on putting the customers first and that is rare to see in this day and age. I live a good 30-40 miles away from this shop, but will never take my vehicles anywhere else but here.

Please see facebook review, but in summary basically did not start working on car when they said they would and took a couple hours longer. Added false charges because they needed to fix the boost leak in order for it to be safe to drive, however, they also told me they couldnt identify any boost leaks because of the crack in intercooler which is fair but why charge to fix the boost leaks if that was the case. On top of that they broke the clip connected to the headlight for the front bumper, so now the front bumper will not go on properly. While it was there they also apparently stalled and over-revved numerous times to get the car moving. Do not recommend at all.

After going here, I will never go back to a traditional dealer again. I had motor built and now they do all of my services as well. Recommend to everyone.

I highly recommend avoiding this shop, they are extremely sneaky and deceiving I never in my life have been so decived by an automotive shop. I understand times are hard but to charge my card without my permission or terms and conditions is absolutely ludicrous. on top of it all they stole parts from my vehicle.

Friend and I came to get his oil changed and valve cover gasket replaced. After work was done and paid for, gasket was still leaking. Friend took it to dealer and they found out the oil was actually never changed and the valve cover gasket was installed incorrectly which is why it leaked. Not my first poor experience with these guys. Straight up lying. Stay away!

These guys know what they do. This has been my go to shop for the last 7 years, and 3 Subarus later, I am still going there. Sam (the owner) and Riyaad are true to their word, never tried to upsell or make unnecessary repairs or any other BS. If some repairs may be covered by the warranty at the dealer they tell you that upfront! Thank you Andrewtech!

If you want to bring your car to get fixed or get tuned this is the place to bring to!!! These guys literally do everything including all will drive dyno tuning!!! Very pleased with the service and prices. I definitely will come back to this place and highly recommend to everyone who needs high quality work!!!

Professional automotive facility that I trust to service my vehicle.

Brought my car in to have a few upgrades put in, and got a compression test done just in case. They stated the test came back very low on cylinder-4, and suggested dropping in pistons without honing the block. This sounded suspicious especially considering the car exhibited no issues. So I got the compression test done at two other places (Agile and Gear One) just to make sure, compression was perfect on all four cylinders. When I advised the owner, he did nothing to make up for this deceitful act. Ill never bring business here again, and suggest everyone a very rigid, Stay away!

Took the car to be fixed, biggest mistake of my life going to them.shady company !!!! They sold off my parts !!! they tried to charge my credit card for things they didn’t do!!!! They were scheduled to take the engine out of the car on the following Monday, next thing I know they have it all ripped apart the Friday before and no call saying they were going to do it early.I got a bad feeling and asked for all the parts to my car to be returned, they gave me all broken parts from other cars the Vin numbers don’t match my carbeware !!!! they are sneaky AF

Honest numbers for estimates, easy to talk to and get the message across of what needs to be done as well as calling me back of unforeseen issues. Took my WRX to Andrewtech to get a new clutch kit installed. I did a lot of research on performance shops in the DC area and Andrewtech really stood out. Tom was very knowledgeable in helping my chose the right clutch for my application. They did the job very well and had the lowest labor price I could find. (less than half what a Subaru dealership would charge)

I lived in VA for several years before being stationed in TX. I had the oppourtunity to visit this shop, amd at the time i had a all black 2004 STi. Not only was i welcomed, i was able to take a drive with one of the Techs. They took me on a drive, in a white WRX with a dogbox trans in it. I was grateful, that i had this opportunity, and will always go back.

I strongly recommend andrewtech to anyone who wants an honest and committed autoshop, especially if you own a Subaru. There were a few roadblocks when they were replacing my clutch, yet they still completed the job in a timely manner. To top it all off, they even helped out with some unexpected labor costs. This company has a good reputation for a reason!

Referred by a friend after I was desperately looking for a shop that I could consistently stay with for my 2005 WRX Wagon. Sam and Andrew were so resourceful and thorough. I hadnt experienced such passion for work until coming here and valued their recommendations and approach. Made me excited about driving my car again after I left. Its a pretty cool feeling.

The whole crew is really good about keeping you informed while they work on your car. Quick to respond to any additional questions I have over the phone or Facebook, and its always fun seeing the other cars in the lot when dropping off. I make a 30mile to Andrewtech but its totally worth it, knowing the quality of the work.This shop is great if you are a bit of a gear head or tuner, as they handle modified cars with ease. Heard about these guys on the NASIOC forum (2015 WRX). emailed and had prompt, helpful replies the whole way from Riyaad. They beat Subiespeed on price on my clutch, flywheel and even on coilovers and shipped faster than they do. Whatever you need, these are your guys.

So where do I start??!!! Andrew tech is the best. hands down the best shop I have been to. I drove 4 hrs to have them work on my wrx and would still drive 10 hrs of I had to. thats simply how great they are. they are honest about the whole process and let you know everything that is going on. I brought my car there for a full ppg transmission build, stage 2 clutch and a ton of other engine mods. I arrived Thursday morning and they got the car done Friday afternoon! let me repeat that they rebuilt my trans and did an extensive amount of mods in about 2 days. not many shops can do that and do a good job. Sam and his crew are like no other and if you have a subaru this is the first AND LAST place you should go to. stop looking for a better deal or closer place, I already did for you!

I came here through a high recommendation through the owner of one of the most reputable, aftermarket performance manufacturers out there. After some incredibly gross negligence on behalf of another performance Subaru tuner in MD, AndrewTech has been such a sigh of relief to deal with. They always give honest feedback about what is going on, and I will never let another shop touch my cars! I have a 2015 STi and my wife has a 2003 2.5 RS. Both vehicles are serviced by AndrewTech, and currently my wifes 2.5 is in there getting work done to it, and when I was called with the news of what needed to be done, I never thought to myself if I was being oversold, so yes if anyone out there is thinking is anyone honest anymore? YES, AndrewTech is 100%, and I think all the reviews speak for themselves!

Took these guys less than 6 hours to swap out the rear diff on my 02 WRX. Amazing service at a great cost - parts and labor were barely more than what I could find the parts for on eBay, and they had everything in stock. Sam was super easy to talk to and did some phone diagnostics with me to make sure it was a problem I would need to bring the car in for. These guys really know their Subarus! If you have a tuned subie, I would suggest starting a relationship with this shop, as their advice and customer service easily earn a 5 star rating.

I was referred to this shop from numerous people, and drove 1.5hours from VA to visit AndrewTech. I brought over a 2008 Legacy GT for a pre-purchase inspection in February. Sam fitted me into his schedule early in the morning and Andrew & his team began their in depth analysis on the vehicle.They pointed out several big concerns on the car, as well as potential history of the car with the looks of the vehicle. Andrew then took it for a long test drive to see how the gears & engine felt.After the inspection, they worked up a cost and explained everything in detail. I ended up getting the car, and getting all issues fixed at AndrewTech.One of the big services for the Legacy is the timing belt & water-pump. Since I was not sure if this service was done, I asked them to just go ahead and replace all. As they worked through the belts & pump, Sam noticed the pump was new, called me and subtracted it from the services. This is honesty at its best.Throughout the process, Sam & Andrew did not attempt to upsell me on random services. In fact, I learned much more about my vehicle with every visit.This team is truly passionate about what they do, and it shows through the way they speak, work and their interactions. I will have recommended everyone to head this way for all their needs. Its truly difficult to find a trust-worthy shop/mechanic that will not attempt to sell you everything under the roof.I am definitely customer for life, regardless of what type of vehicle I own.
