Everything i come here and shop, the employees observe me like Im stealing. I walk in everyday to get my supper after work and they do the same thing. Funny part is I own my own business and may very well well I know I have the funding but it doesnt stop the racial discrimination in this place. I honestly wanted to stop going but it was the closes place to me. Example. Five people in line 3 of those 5 paid with large bills and wasnt checked, no offense, as I am part white also never checked the bills, low and behold she checks me and I only had a twenty dollar bill. I mean she lift it high too and I pulled out of a bank envelope. Please get better customer service. Other than that service pretty fast.

Fruit Salad with the coconut,🤔 was very pleasing to the eye and very different but the coconut was not quite ripe yet nor was the mango that was in there🙃 but it was good effort..... Customer service could use improving! I know someone came to the produce counter, when I was looking at the salad bowls! When they saw me they turn back around like they were hiding😆 but its all good... I got what I needed and got the hell out of there. I work for Publix in South Florida during my high school years and we were always told if we come within 6 ft of a guess we greet them, and ask them if we can provide any assistance... I started as a bagger and moved up to cashier almost up into management... I know Publix offers a lot of benefits to their employee even help with college tuition so the staff should treat everyone with the same courtesy even if theyre having a bad hair day 😫😆

This place is so clean and staff is super friendly and helpful. The cakes are amazing.. I suggest u stop in and get a amazing experience.. love it...

The employees there were so nice. Several people including one of the managers asked if I needed help. One female employee said I will just take you right to your items. She helped me locate the last 3 items on my list. I believe in kindness.....this store certainly reflects that❤ thank you!

This Publix is smaller than the bigger Super Publix Stores that surround it. But all the staff and employees and management are the very best there is! Period!

Unusual layout for a Publix. Poor seafood counter service (customers waiting for someone to come out and help them). Entire sushi cooler was empty before 7pm on a Saturday night. Front of house staff seemed nice and they had some decent sales going on. Just not up to par with most Publixs.

It was good except there was a lot of things that they were out of I think its a supply-chain issue

Its pretty cool...I work across the street at the Bakery Mill. My mom used to shop Publix on Main Street like 5 days a week, I realized I do the same to this one now...

I like this Publix Store. It’s rarely busy, always stocked, easy to navigate, quick checkout, and it’s within close proximity to other retail stores. The only downfall is hefty prices on some items but that’s expected in Florida.

You get get a pubsub up until closing! Also in the fish section if there is a fish they do not have that you want, they can order for you.

I will go shopping there again. The bakery personnel acted like it was a privilege to serve me. The bakery items I bought were very tasty.. AND best of all, both customers and employers wore masks.

Publix is clean and fresh. I hope it could grow towards Wegmans. And I believe that they will make it one day because of the people working there.This guy is awesome!!! Helpful and genuine; super considerate!!!

Aw, staff is really cordial. We feel as safe as it can be to shop here. They seem to be doing a true effort to sanitize the carts and store.Prices are not very competitive, but for partial groceries, it turns out to be a good run.

Not our usual Publix but they had Fresh Pet dog food. We would go back if we are in the neighborhood.

This is my main publix, it’s my favorite Publix in Gainesville. Staff is always helpful, nice, and polite. Store is simple to figure out and find the products. I love going and getting my groceries here!

Publix is a great grocery store. Their app tells me what is on bogo so I wont miss one that I want. Throw in coupons and nice employees and youve got a pleasant shopping trip.

Had a problem with a cashier not wanting to honor publix policy about if item ring up wrong its free. She just changed the price and said to me there its changed on energy drink they had on clearance. Store clean inside. This happened around march of 2021.

This is a great Super Market everything is so fresh and neat the people are extremely helpful and very caring the only negative I have is that some people were shopping with no mess on and they took Market those post that everybody has to have a mess go in Ive noticed that in a lot of the stores down here why some people do and some people though thats the question

All staff were helpful and friendly, enforcing social distancing. There were shoppers without masks, but no staff members enforced the Alachua County mandatory masking guidelines.

Tried going to the deli for a sub before lunch rush. Waited long period of time before they agonized the first customer with still no service. About 7 to 8 employees doing prep work. Left unsatisfied. I honesly was craving sub for this already messed up day. Thanks

Great shopping experience

Shopping at Publix is indeed always a pleasure. This store is obviously older, indicated by the facade and the general feel of the interior. That doesnt take away much from the experience. I will note that my hometown of St. Pete has somewhere around 5 or 6 stores (maybe more), and theyre all arranged somewhat similarly. Given the age of this location, Im assuming they had to arrange things differently from many other stores Ive seen in order to fit everything in, particularly contrasted with my home stores. Even so, everything was immaculate and the staff were amazing. I cant imagine what life would be like in a part of the Country where Publix does not exist!

Nice and polite employees. Asked questions, they answered. Polite in asking if I needed anything. Meat department and bakery staff were extremely nice

Chicken tender subs on sale....their biggest seller. Ordered online for pickup, had to wait 40 minutes AFTER the pickup time as there was a 50 person line and 2 employees making subs while 4 other employees were standing behind them talking. Where is the store manager? They could certainly help with subs!

Too many Publix stores are laid out differently inside from their sister-stores. My wife and I walked around and around looking for an item that should have been easy to find. Although we eventually found it, it took way too long searching.

Matt Dane, Christine and Tori all wonderful people. Matt in the deli was extremely helpful! Dane the cashier very polite, Tori the CSM was polite and the manager Christine was great as well. I will be going back!

This Publix has the freshest produce in Gainesville. Their selection isnt as abundant as some of the larger stores in town--I was told due to being smaller, but I can always find what I need. The workers there are also very friendly and helpful and go above and beyond for their customers.

Great service! This is my Publix and we visit at least weekly. It can get really crowded on the weekend like every grocery store. It would be perfect if there were a few more crafty beers on the beer aisle.

Deli employees do not practice clean methods of food making. I have seen them touch so many objects with the same gloves. I drive 10 minutes out of my way to go to a different Publix.
