Great variety of items and well stocked. Usually busy and employees are helpful

Shopping there is fine. Just like any other publix experience. Going to the Deli, however, is not. I dont know if its just my bad luck but the last 5 or so times Ive been to the deli Ive needed to wait in line for at LEAST 30 minutes before anybody gets to me. In each instance, there are only 1 or 2 people in front of me. The people that work at the deli are just incredibly slow at their job. Ok, I thought, maybe Ill just get the publix app and that will help with these wait times. Nope. Good luck having them even make your order, much less make it correctly. If you want the deli, go to a different publix.

Publix is always clean and well stocked. I really wish they put more attention on customer service like they did in the past but thats changed at virtually every business.

They made the wrong color cupcakes. They were supposed to be rose and they were bright yellow. The cake its self was made with the wrong color as well.They remade the cake and then used the wrong frosting and it melted.They did try to make sure we were happy but there was not enough time to redo the 90 cupcakes. But they really wanted to satisfy us they could not at that point but they did try.

Nekita is one of our favorite Subway employees. We always have a good meal, at the Waldo Subway.

I went for 2 items and they had neither. Hibiscus Le croix and jiffy pop....regular stuff...I dont usually shop at Publix...

Customer Service is what sets Publix apart from most supermarket chains; this store is a great example!Returning an item to a store can be stressful, not here. Publix policy states We will never knowingly disappoint you. If for any reason your purchase does not give you complete satisfaction, the full purchase price will be cheerfully refunded immediately upon request.Thats exactly what they did, with a smile.After that, a Publix employee on one of the grocery aisles helped me, then another helped in produce.A well run store in a well run organization. These people are great!

This is the Publix we use the most. It is nice and the staff is great. The parking lot is terrible though. However, it is always a pleasure to shop there.

The subs I pre-ordered online were 20 minutes late to be made. Would have been faster to have ordered them at the counter. Outside of that, everything was delicious and they were working hard on game day to keep things moving

Unfortunately today when I went I would have a new case sure that was my friendly and helpful I was in a mobile Ryan didnt put the in the buddy I had a hard time because of my arm and a customer had to stop trying and get my bags and put in basket unfortunately I am very disappointed because this is my favorite. But would not let this stop me from going back.

Ive been going here my whole life (27 years old). apparently the produce section is on the opposite side of the store to most other publixes. good aisle space, building seems in good order. not as many gluten free options as i would like but thats okay.

Friendly employees in the deli, whether with hot food or making subs they always try to optimize their food making process with special care to the customers time. If they are missing something they let you know how long to wait till fresh food comes out. The cashiers are friendly as well

I have been getting my prescriptions filled here for years. I would not go anywhere else even if you paid me. Pharmacy staff are always helpful and when I lost my insurance, they always searched for a lower price for my medications. Truly one of a kind.

Very disturbing attitude by the young lady that rang up my sandwich. Employees opinions mean absolutely zero. You are at work to scan my items with a good attitude and say thank you. You did neither, as such, you embarrassed yourself, co-workers, and the Publics,. I know that I wont be back!!

I go to Publix usually to get one of there nice meaty deli sandwiches. You would need like 3 or 4 subways subs to equal One from Publix....weigh the Meat.....what a Damned difference! No lies check it out for yourself

Overall the store is not bad. It is clean and the associates are friendly. My review is based on the deli alone. They are ridiculously slow making subs. They are also very inconsistent. When I order online its never ready on time and the toppings are always wrong. Today when ordering a sub online I got the wrong bread the wrong toppings and the sauce was wrong.

The pharmacy and it’s staff here is the best in Gainesville. No questions asked. I actually live closer to another Publix, but use this one because the Pharmacy is amazing and the staff at this Publix is incredible.

Excellent store, excellent pharmacists. Ive been a patron there for over two decades, and I dont recall a single concern or complaint Ive had with this location during that span. As for the pharmacy, you couldnt hope for better additions to your medical team. They are all helpful, and most are knowledgeable, perceptive, and dedicated.Whenever Im in a county/city that doesnt have a Publix, its this location that I wish I could be walking into.If you can visit, do yourself a tremendous favor (that you will never be able to repay, but dont worry about it) try the chocolate milk made by the Promised Land company that they stock here... Its... So... Freaking... Good.

Better Store than original location.

I called 3 previous Publix and tried to order some cupcakes today (my daughter and Is favorites). All the other Publixs just stated they didnt have any. I finally made an online purchase for the cupcakes at this location. The bakery ladies are amazing!! even though they didnt have any in stock, they made a batch for us!! Im so surprised and appreciative of the level of customer service these ladies have provided. Ive becoming a new returning customer and they dont even know! thank you again! ( I later found out the cupcakes I was trying to order werent in season)

To begin, I just want to say that I love Publix. I love the atmosphere, I love the sales, I love the grocery selections. When I moved to this part of town about 6 months ago, I was thrilled to have a Publix within half a mile away from my home.Unfortunately in that span of time my experience with this store hasnt been the greatest. My partner and I call this Publix the rude Publix because the cashiers dont seem to have that typical happy-to-help vibe. Rarely am I greeted or asked how Im doing, and Ive had cashiers complain about how theyre supposed to be getting off soon so they rush through, and Ive been told its much harder for them when people like me bring my own bags. My items are often bagged without much care and Ive had to totally repackage meat and other items by the time I get home because the packaging is torn.Now, Ive worked in retail for over 6 years, and I understand the stress and frustrations. I dont expect much and I know the job is not as easy as many make it out to be. But I do think its fair to ask for a little more care when checking out guests. Checking out is the last experience you have with the store, and its the most important. I often leave this store feeling awkward and unsatisfied.I have only had one experience with their guest service team and that went very well and I felt important, and the same goes to their floor staff. But this level of care seems to be missing with the cashiers.I hope that Publix at the Exchange can get to the root of this problem and make shopping here a total pleasure for me and my partner once again.

I ordered a birthday cake over the phone and Sherri was amazing with the order and was able to draw the penguins(which are my wifes favorite) on the cake.
