I am really disappointed in this place they shut down customer service tonight around 7:30 and then they didnt have the line open to buy cigarettes I dont understand I dont think its just all about people working where are they the service there has gotten really bad there are electric carts dont work half the time I have always shop there but now I am beginning to wonder if Im going back

I wish it were possible to leave 0 stars. If you value your time, money, or patience do NOT use grocery delivery from this store. I placed an order for delivery between 8-9AM and got notice it was delivered at 8:23 but I had not received anything. Despite specifically requesting to sign for my order the driver, Beau LEFT ALL MY FOOD ON THE PORCH OF A RANDOM NEIGHBOR and left. I call customer service and was promised by the pick up and delivery rep (lady whose name I dont remember) that she would call me once my order was re-pulled, before the second delivery attempt but no call. The next call I get is from William, an Uber driver who was lost. I gave him perfect clear directions - he even said so himself. 10 minutes later no delivery. I cant call him back now because my number is blocked through Uber. So here we are 2.5 hours AFTER my original delivery window and Im still on hold to get a refund. Stay far far away! The store is now refusing to answer their phones too.

Some prices have increased exponentially. The store was clean and well stocked. Refrigerator dressing (Litehouse) was empty. Not enough cashiers.

Nice since they redid it but have to find where everything is. Love the new carts I am disabled and the new carts run longer. The spacing of the clothes and some of the ailes are to narrow. But the lighting is better.

They usually have what I want, but its best that you check your food expiration dates. The photo I uploaded was taken July 28th 2021.

Walmart name alone speaks for itselfI cant even say, the employees ate slow or lines are long. Longs liberty every where yet walmart has what some dont self check that will get you on outta there. What I can say great prices, great products, quality and quantity.

Took a bath at this store. Family restroom was fantastic. Feels good to get clean.

It’s a Walmart. It is a particularly large one, compared to the ones I’m accustomed to in Georgia and Alabama, but i was disappointed in their swimsuit selection. It was minuscule. I know it’s late in the season, but hey! This is Florida, right?! Anyway, nothing really bad about it, nothing noteworthily good. It’s a Walmart.

Ordering for pickup is super easy and I dont have to wait in line.

I really dont like the self check service. The store looks to crowded and packed. Theres not but one person that is at a register to check out a person who dont want to go through the self check out. Its really inconvenient. I only went there twice since I been in town. I prefer going to a store where someone can check me out.

Always amazing prices and always seem to have exactly what I need and at a great price. Self check out is neat to.

They need more staff but otherwise they do the best they can under the circumstances

Nothing but a squirt of hand sanitizer at the entrance today. Bathrooms appear well cared for. Most associates were wearing masks, but not all. Loss prevention is in high gear at this store.

Everyone was pleasant isles were filled clean some friendly and some were just ratchet didn’t see pickers or stockers checkout lines were pleasant and had plenty of registers open.

One of the better Walmart’s I’ve been to. Had everything I needed and found it with ease. Clean. Not crowded. In a really nice location.

Went to buy TV said to be in stock on website. They didnt have it. Too long a wait to find out. Electronics person said it was showed as in stock because of the floor model but there was no floor model. Ask to hold a new iPhone to check size to make the trip not a complete waste. Said you could not touch them unless you bought them. Very unhelpful. Do you have to thank them for giving us the opportunity not to spend hundreds of dollars today. Their competitors had no problem helping with both items.

Its Walmart.. pretty nasty, bad carts, bad employees but its in the hood and its Walmart what do you expect. Overall good enough

Over all inless u really need something DONT go if u are at self check out and need an employee u cant find one nore do other employees want to help or call another and or call Ive been calling for over an hour every department no one picks up

Its a Walmart. Its hours are pretty broad and they sell almost anything you need... But it is a Walmart.

Today is the last time I will go to the Walmart near my home. Its not a good representation of the Walmarts Im used to. I wasted over an hour today. Only to leave my intended purchases at the checkout counter because I couldnt get assistance with customer service. A manager walks by, kept going and I left. Good luck 12th street Walmart.

I like going to walmart but dont like shopping at location 0551. Dirty floors atmosphere doesnt want me to buy anything there. 0551 store used to b the store to shop at now its not. Pallets down the isles blocking items. Blocking items in meat n dairy. Not having all items in stock. But other retailers across the street are fully stocked. And another thing bothers me. When i get to check out at self checkouts some do not take cash only cards. There telling there customers we want ur business but not ur cash. So then ill either walk n stand in another line or leave n shop at dollar General for my cash items.

Rose the cashier is rude as heck. I think she dont like white people. So said. She needs to find a new job. She does not know how to deal with customers.

On my way out of town I stopped here to grab some snacks and there was trash on the ground and in the aisle. then there was only one cash register open and the line was backed up for it. I was not very happy with this experience and will not be returning to this Walmart when I am back in town.

I needed to exchange something. Customer service was very nice and helpful. (Not something you can usually say about Walmart). However this location is typically good, staff is usually helpful and friendly here and store is clean and stocked well. Avoid the Walmart on 12th off of Waldo Road, they are awful.

I live nearby and will not shop at this Walmart. I want to have development in East gainesville where I live, but this place is terrible. The staff are terrible and treat you like prisoners. All of the merchandise is locked up and there is nobody within a 5 mile radius to help you. Sam Walton would be devastated!

Night and Day the difference in speed and professionalism between this Walmart and the Walmart at Butler Plaza. I am a regular shopper at Butler Plaza and never need to wait more than 20 minutes MAXIMUM for grocery pickup. Easily over an hour wait for pickup. Almost entirely negates the time saving benefit of pickup. I only came to this location because of a computer error but I can say with confidence I wouldnt come back again. If you are a regular shopper in the Gainesville area, get your groceries at Publix or at the Walmart at Butler Plaza instead. Lots of wasted time here.

This store is clean, and stocked despite the current labor shortage and Covid messing things up. What else can I say its Wal-Mart and they have everything.

Just go to Publix. This store is trash. Pick up nor Customer service answers at this location. So don’t even waste your time and your stress level.

Called to check if theres a product in stock been hearing a tone that its trying to reach the customer service people for 30 minutes no one cares they just let it ring hoping you hang up so they dont gotta work and still get payed then they answered and hung up gotta love it I get them 0 stars but google make you put 1 star at least

There weren’t any carts in the cart area to be had. Also there was only one man and cashier. And there were the self check out lines that were not operable. I have to say management needs to step up to the plate. Although I like Walmart because of the selection and of course the prices. But it’s very disappointing when you can’t pay for the items that you just put in your cart.

Ive never been to this Walmart before, & was pretty impressed with its cleanliness & by the electronics section. Searching for a laptop, I noticed that if one was out of stock, it had a notation by it saying so, which my local Walmart did NOT, so I liked I didnt have to keep asking if it was available to buy. The lighting at this store was impressive as well, it wasnt so bright, as mine is, but was perfect. Selection of womens clothing was very nice as well.

I truly enjoyed the Gainesville Walmart. The checkout was convenient and the Gator store inside was well stocked with items to take back to my family as gifts.

Only one human cashier in the entire store to check people out so if youre writing a check you would be standing in line for almost an hour total horse hockeys

Store was completely picked over, told I couldnt come in if I didnt have a mask.... In just a very rude manner, which is the upsetting part.

Delicious, generous portions of home cooked breakfast staples. The food warmer could be turned up a bit and the milk should be served colder, but Ive had worse.

Better prices than the local grocery stores. Typically packed with people though so be prepared to walk quickly. Self service checkouts are great options for speed and not having an additional person touch your items. Bathrooms are not always stocked with toilet paper and are sometimes stinky / dirty so be sure to do your business at home! Masks are required to enter so be sure to wear one if you plan to shop here. Parking is easy since the lot is huge but beware of runaway carts.

Although this store has more stuff in stock compared to other Walmarts. I have been looking for something that came out the 1st and this has been the only store to have it. The problem though is that it’s taken too long for them to get it on the shelf. If it says available starting 9/01 idk why it’s taken this long for it to get on shelves

The self checkout lanes were only available if you were paying with a credit card, so there was a long line to pay with cash.

They close at 11:00, I showed up at 10:43 and they told me that all the registers were closed! I knew exactly what I wanted which sucked because I drove almost 20 minutes to get there from the other side of town! So either close at 11:00 or 10:43 p.m. 🙄

Quaint. Has both indoor and outdoor seating. Have been several times and the food has been excellent. Large selection.

The store is terrible. Shelves are empty, you cant find garden stuff you used to. Fresh seafood area practically empty. Vegetables, parsley are withering. I used to like Walmart but now I really hate it. Sad

The Walmart was very clean but more surprising was how scarce the number of people were in the store and definitely not complaining

Pay attention to ticket prices versus what is rung up. Always do the math to see what sizes are better priced. Many times the larger pack is more expensive than buying the same amount with individual packages (this goes for all Wal-Marts). As for their bathrooms, Id rather pee in the woods. 1 Stars for convenience, -3 stars for how they operate in a UX level.

Always busy!! Only one lady working customer service. She was still fast and nice. I had to pick up some money. The line was almost out the door and a few customers were getting rowdy. Lol! I was minding my own business watching Dexter until it was my turn. Please give that lady a raise!!

Shelves were stocked and aisles clear. Checkouts were very busy, as there were only a few full service lanes open with associates. Definitely need to keep an eye on customers and open more registers as needed.

I go there all the time. You dont have to wear a mask but i recommend you do.

Its a Super Wal-Mart so its basically an outpost of Hell. It is pretty typical for Walmart except they had all three of the items I went in for and that almost never happens at a Walmart so I gave it an extra star.

I went to visit this walmart in the evening of July 26th to buy an HP printer which was on sale and was on a very cheap price. Unfortunately the printer shelves were all cleared out. Thanks to Bernie for assisting us and for trying to look around for that specific printer that I am looking for. I was not able to get the printer I want but he was able to offer something else though it cost a little bit more. Though He looks exhausted at that time but he was so patient and spent his time helping me. Also the lady in the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I was not able to get her name.... overall I had a good experience at this store.. Great customer service.I gave 4 stars because of the ff.1. some of the items that I need was not there or just needs to be replenished.2. Not all products was properly labeled with the price tags and some has no price tags at all.3. The online apps said that there was still 1 stock available for that printer when there was none left at the store4. No international aisle5. Seasonings. Where are they?

Supercenter is correct... I have a 24 yr old 21 speed Townie, they only stocked a chain for a 1 to 3 speed... BUT they also had the tool that lets you custom make your own chain, you dont even need a Master link w this simple to use tool!!

Its by far the best Walmart in town. No question its my favorite.... It is still just a Walmart though. Someone is eating cheese in a toilet stall. Someone is seriously considering buying a crossbow at 2 am. Kids are trying on all the hats and for sure catching lice. Someone is eating cheese on a scooter.... But they have like 8 self check out lanes. So ⭐⭐⭐⭐
