We got married last month and we were blessed with a fairy tale wedding. Everything from the venue to the weather was perfect. But more importantly, we could have not done this without the relentless help, love, and dedication we received from the team of people who helped make our wedding day the best day of our lives.Our wedding ceremony took place under the big oak tree at the Historic Thomas Center in Gainesville, FL. Betsy Gardner at the Plant Shoppe Florist customized our flowers as requested matching our wedding colors of navy blue and gold to beautiful hydrangeas, gardenias, delphiniums, and tulips. Our bouquets were gorgeous! Betsy and her team also hung lanterns from the oak tree and suggested hanging some of our reception bottles with lights in them from the branches, which added significantly to the overall romance of the decor. She made gorgeous gold leaf garlands for our cat stroller (our cats were the ring-bearers!) and for the tables at the reception. Betsy and her team came to the venue early and they not only set up the lanterns, bottles, and flowers, but they also helped our wedding planner decorate the tables at the reception. They went above and beyond and were just great and fairly priced. We highly recommend Betsy and her team at the Plant Shoppe Florist for weddings, special events, and all other flower needs.

Unbelievably reasonably priced. She is creative, attentive, thorough and really goes the extra mile. You can tell she loves what she gets to do, and I would recommend her especially to a bride that isnt 100% confident and/or picky about what she wants. One of the last florists left that delivers quality and beauty. I married in St. Augustine at The Lightner. A woman made her way over to my husband and I after the ceremony. She told me that living in St. Augustine, she had seen many weddings over the years but my flowers were the most beautiful she had seen in a very, very long time. She was right they really were beautiful.

I love this place so much. I always have fresh flowers in my house and I recently moved to Gainesville. My boyfriend went to the shop and he only knows my favorite color and he picked up a bouquet for me. When he came home I was SHOCKED. He legit only told them blue flowers and he came home with this gorgeous bouquet of flowers that had like multiple layers and they were all opened and beautiful. It’s been 3 days now and they still look as beautiful they day I got them. Also, they were so well priced???? The flowers in this arraignment are typically expensive to buy in bulk (lilies, roses, sunflowers) but these were such a good price. I go back now every two weeks to get my fresh flowers. So creative and good priced and fresh. 100% recommend.

Finding a good florist for our wedding was definitely the hardest vendor for us to find. We emailed and called so many people and had such a nightmare trying to find somebody. We we on a budget, and needed our florist to help us figure out what would look good keeping that budget in mind. We had one florist tell us that she couldnt help us because we we werent able to spend several thousand on flowers...WHAT?! Anyway, Betsy saved the day for us and from the first call we knew we had finally found the right person for the job. She was very quick and responsive to emails, was so friendly and easy to talk to (unlike a lot of florist we spoke with), and she completely understood our idea for the wedding and went with it without us having to draw out every detail for her. We gave her a color scheme and our vision and trusted her as a professional from there to put the rest in motion, and let me tell you what...she was 100% dead on and everything came out perfect! We got so many compliments on the flowers, from the bridal/ bridesmaid bouquets to the rose petals scattered in the aisle to our centerpieces (which were each individually designed). She made our fairy tale wedding really come to life, and we are so thankful we found her! I called and ordered a $65 Spring Basket, referenced the arrangement on their website. The arrangement that was delivered looked like it was haphazardly thrown together with several bunches of flowers and contained lots of filler. 85% of the flowers were fully opened and at the end of their shelf life. Called. They Offered a $10 delivery fee credit on my next order.

My daughter is getting married and we went here to get our invitations made. Becky paid very close attention to all of the details. She made sure that they read absolutely perfect. We are very happy, the invitations turned out lovely!

Living several hours away I ordered some flowers online. Turns out I was given the wrong room number at Shands. Florist was very patient while I tried to straighten out the issue. Betsy did the flowers for our March wedding at the Sweetwater Branch Inn and I am so amazed at how well she captured our theme. We asked for a fantasy-esque theme, one to make you think of dragons and fairies and magic and she delivered!!! My bouquet was a gorgeous cascade bouquet with violets, lavenders and pinks, and even had crystals woven in. She was amazingly creative in coming up with ideas for each table and executed those ideas perfectly. I received compliments on our wedding decor all night!!! Our decor included moss, wooden slabs, beautiful obviously fresh and high quality flowers, and even mushrooms! She brought a bit of magic to the Sweetwater inn for our wedding night and helped make it a fairytale come true while staying within our moderate budget. I HIGHLY recommend her for all your floral needs. Shes creative, down to earth, easy to work with, and easy to contact via email or phone. She was on time and professional for our wedding and the flowers were just PERFECT. Zero complaints from this happy couple!
