This place is a SCAM & has been audited . They kept people money & now putting holds on tags. The finance officer Paul Cohen-Stein is the rudest person & lacks empathy & customer service. All they both want is your MONEY. It’s all a scam. No documentation provided to show proof of anything. Scott has no information & Paul is the worst. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY CARS FROM THEM!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!

I purchased a car 2 years ago. For what it is they are not bad. The office management has changed since I bought my car and seems to be much better. Just like any car lot you have to do your research. You can get a not so great car because of what you buy or you can buy a better brand car like I did and have minimal issues. For people who find themselves in a credit dilemma needing transportation this can be an option.

Not the best experience iv had looking for and purchasing a vehicle. Took a while. Like 2 days 🥵. Only reason for 2 stars is that they got good vehicles. Well atleast the one I got is very nice! No tears on interior or fades/stains. It be helpful for them to have a price on vehicles and faster service on clients!

Half the cars there dont work & theres no mechanic on the grounds. The only employees there is honest about the vehicles that dont work. But it was a waste of time. Once you buy it & pull theres no warranty just a $250 card to help fix it beyond that theres nothing!

Today I had the totally unpleasant experience of trying (unsuccessfully) to deal with Credit Cars of Gainesville. I strongly recommend no one attempt to do business with this dealership because of their complete unprofessionalism and lack of customer service.I was trying to talk to the manager of this dealership today (September 1, 2020) to help my grandson and his girlfriend (who bought a car from them in March 2020). On Saturday (August 29, 2020) I called and tried to talk to the people at Credit Cars of Gainesville and they were extremely rude and hung up on me. That’s why I decided to visit them in person today and try to get their help.When I arrived at the car lot I asked to speak to the manager or owner and explained my relationship to the people who bought the car (they were with me) and I explained that the all I wanted to do was to help them get a copy of the paperwork from the sale of the car. I told the manager (who identified himself as Tyler) that, according to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Used Car Rule, the FTC requires dealers to display a Buyer’s Guide in every used car they and to give it to buyers after the sale. He told me that they buyer would have to contact the finance company, because he didn’t have a copy of the paperwork. It’s also worth noting that when I contacted the finance company on Saturday, August 29, 2020 on behalf of my grandson and his girlfriend, they told us they didn’t have a copy of the paperwork and that we should contact the dealer.Today, I told the manager that according to the Florida Statutes (Title XXIII, Chapter 320, Section 27) he was required to keep a record for 5 years of the purchase, sale, or exchange, or receipt for the purpose of sale, of any motor vehicle, the date upon which any temporary tag was issued, the date of title transfer, and a description of such motor vehicle together with the name and address of the seller, the purchaser, and the alleged owner or other person from whom such motor vehicle was purchased or received or to whom it was sold or delivered, as the case may be. Such description shall include the identification or engine number, maker’s number, if any, chassis number, if any, and such other numbers or identification marks as may be thereon and shall also include a statement that a number has been obliterated, defaced, or changed, if such is the fact. The manager told me that he didn’t care what the Florida Statute said and told me to leave his property.I have no idea why the manager was so reluctant to give the people who purchased a copy of the paperwork from the sale of the vehicle a copy of it. I do know, however, Florida law required the dealership to maintain a copy of the paperwork. The manager either lied about not having a copy of the paperwork, or he is in violation of the Florida law that requires he maintain the records for 5 years.Either way, and because of the total unprofessionalism and complete lack of customer service, I strongly recommend you do NOT do business with Credit Cars of Gainesville.

Very slow and took forever to get to do paperwork. Went Saturday to get a car and didnt even get to test drive better yet get in a car till the following tiesday

I called the place to ask about two cars and he seemed like he didnt know what he was doing and told me to hold on then proceeded to stay quite then hung up I called several times but got ignored even picked up once and ended the call instantly . The ladies there have nice customer service but their male employee is unprofessional and sucks at customer service.

Terrible place! No prices on cars. Guy sat in the office and said pick out a car and I’ll tell you the monthly payment. Doesn’t know the price, he’ll just figure out the monthly payment! Doesn’t seem interested if you’re paying cash! Must make a killing on finance charges!

WARNING!!! Do Not Purchase a Car from this Place.Please save your self a headache. Go someone else. They seem to be helpful and kind until you sign a contract, then the cars fall apart, and thats when you see a change in there attitudes. They dont care about you all they care about is getting your money. There vehicles look pretty on the outside but please dont be fooled. The Vehicles they Sale are overly priced, yes you may only put down $700 but by time they jack up the finance charges you will be paying $17,000 to 25,000 for a used vehicle that may not mechanically last a year. They do not fix these vehicles if they break down the are bought As Is. So Trust me... Go else where. This Car lot is one HUGE SCAM!!!!

Listen everything about this place is a Scam, there vehicles are Nice on the exterior but these vehicles fall apart quickly, there manager Tyler is an con artist, He has a good talk game, He will talk you into a new ride and shortly after the vehicle falls apart, they also states $700 down but once you get there it’s up to $1500 down, then by time they do calculations your paying $12, 000 to $25,000 for a used car that has all kinds of mechanical issues, I done finance 2 cars through this place and both were Lemons!! On top of that if you do decide to take a chance be prepared to be there 8 hours waiting. PLEASE!!! Take your money some where else these people lie, and scam people out of there money by selling vehicles that are Lemons

Worst place ever......poor customer service! Definitely horrible cars, have dropped $450 in car since financing one month ago....have had several threatening phone calls for them not getting equipment installed prior to leaving with vehicle so claims even if car payments are made they will still repo the vehicle, very rude and discourteous.....will be reporting to better business bureau by end of business day Today!!

They were very good to ke. Gave me a chance to buy a vehicle for a lower down payment when no one else wanted to help me with large down payment. Ive PAID 477.53 for 11 months, for a 2006 nissan. Found out I owe 3 more years! By the time I would be done Ill have paid over 22000 dollars for a 2006! Giving it back real soon!

Worst place ever to buy a car. They be preying on poor people. The little short guy Tony was rude to me and my sister. I live in the apartment behind them and they be selling alot of bad car. Karma will get them .

Went all over the place to find somebody that would sell me a good car and get me financed since i didnt have that much money. they got me financing on a 2010 tahoe. love this truck. they are the best!!!

This is a horrible place to get any car, they have the worst customer service, are rude as all get out, they want to take your money and after that they don’t care about you or the piece of junk car they sell you. The cars break down after a few weeks or months. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Stay clear.

Horrible cutomer service !!!! I got a car from there and literally 2 weeks later the motor shaking and rattling. When i said i wanted to return the car, the lady Tori snapped on me as if i did something wrong, all i wanted to know was how do i get my money back or another car. I feel victim to the Pretty Car for 700 Down. Please dont be next, if i could change this i would NEVER have went there. Please read and share..Horrible Customer Service and Horrible cars....

Cars are advertised as $700 down but when i went to get a car with $800 down they were asking for $1,500 down. They were willing to work out the other $700 down. I got my car and literally 3 days later i started to have issues with it. Took the $250 voucher they gave me and brought it to the shop and car has electrical issues. I was told by Tori that they will be responsible for picking up the bill. After many days of calling to speak to Tori who told me they would take care of the issue they are not going to pick up the bill at all. Now im out of a vehicle and the money i put down on it. DO NOT GET YOUR CARS FROM HERE!! Worst car place ever

Went in here earlier today, was interested in the 2007 Ford Crown Victoria they had, was willing to take in my vehicle for a trade in, and let me do 400 on the nearest saturday and then another come next payday, however right when I was ready to do all the paper work, I asked the price for the car and they said.....hope youre sitting down for this, but they were wanting 12k and some change for the car, and insisted it was because of the features the car was spectatular condition, but now 12k spectacular. No Ford Crown victoria Ive seen online costed that much. Thankfully I left that place with the clothes still on my back and my still reliable car I have now. Save the trip guys these people ask way too much for cars.

Bought a car. Less than. 24 hours later there are serious issues. Tory tells me she will take care of the issue. Cars been in the shop a week. She had personal days. The tippem mod needs replaced. She says she never said she would take care of it... Im not paying to have it fixed and i dont have the mo ey to fix it. So my crefit goes down the tubes because of because of a liar. Come to find out half the cars she has are flood cars never reported. If only dhe was a man! $700 down is anotjer straight lie

This place is shady as hell! It is not 700 down. They do not handle their own finances. They have little to no contact with the finance company if you try to call the finance company they will repeatedly hang up on you. Promised I would walk off with a car that day and three days later have yet to touch it. They are rude and unhelpful. Do not go here it is not worth it!
