We visited the bookstore to grab some Gator gear before we attended my sons graduation. I found the perfect clear bag, as my son told me that I couldnt take my regular purse inside. We found lots of other items we purchased as well. The store was immaculate and there was an abundance of staff, who were friendly and willing to help. I look forward to visiting them again, when I go back to help him move out of his apartment.

Ordered a book online i called to ask for an update and I got hung up on “I’ll have someone give you a call whenever it’s processed bye have a good day” no one answered my question on how or when I am expected to receive it when I ordered it a month and a half ago and I need it for my class. I wanted to know if I needed to cancel the order or not. I called again and got hung up on again and the last time they didn’t reply. Very rude customer service some lady called Marie. Never have experienced such bad service.

Wish the selection of clothes would include more plus size and a little more variety but over all was able to find something for everyone and prices are a little high but it is a university book store so you are going to pay for the brand.

Remaining balance owed to me was never reflected in my account or returned and it has been impossible to speak to anyone about appropriate adjustment. Very, very disappointed! Proceed with caution.

Tons of choices. Picked up a soft womens camo t-shirt and a very nice mens t-shirt.

I walked around so much my feet hurt but it was my 1st visit and I was so excited. I absolutely loved the sock selection and the clearance was large and had something for everyone. I came when the campus was basically empty so Im unsure of where to park for visitors but it was definitely worth the stop on my way back home.

Terrible and overpriced. also-- constantly see a couple of what i assume to be the managers not wearing their masks while speaking to customers. and they do not enforce customers to wear masks either, this place is a cesspool for COVID. do better with your COVID prevention.

They do not care about their online website. Im a gator student and ordered some clothings from the website, but ended up returning. Before I return those items, I emailed them if I can get my money back. They said yes! So I spent extra money on shipping and returned to the book store, but still did not get my money back. Its been a month! They do not answer calls! They do not reply my emails! Feels like this is a scam website because nobody is responding. Why would I spend extra money on shipping to return $100+ items? Now I have no items and lost my money. Do not order from their website!

This review is for online ordering from the University of Florida Bookstore.I ordered a sweatshirt from them for my dad for Christmas. I chose the UF Bookstore over other retailers because I wanted to support the school. I placed my order at the end of October. When sweatshirt finally arrived, I didnt even have to unfold it all the way to notice it had a giant oil stain on the chest. Long story short, it took me two months, at least 10 phone calls, several emails, a returned package, and 3 trips to UPS to finally exchange the product. When the replacement arrived and I was wrapping it for Christmas, I noticed that the replacements logo wasnt even centered.... At that point, I just gave it to him because I knew I was never going to receive a product in proper condition.Poor customer service, incompetent employees, and no great system for online orders/returns/exchanges. From my experience, they do NOT check online orders before shipping to ensure quality of products shipped. Do not recommend. I will not order from them again in the future.

Absolutely love the UF bookstore / Reitz Union. You can find anything and everything from Victorias Secret P!NK collegiate clothing options all the way to twizzlers ! Priced competitively. Great atmosphere and people.

DO NOT get your books here the staff is a joke. They a rude and lazy. After they transferred me to a voicemail that wasnt set up, they were rude and had a attitude then told me the book I ordered over a month ago was not coming in. The male that worked there is incompetent and has no people skills. Get your books else ware.

My Experience With Leslie and Her Assistant This Was Completely Stellar. I arrived with an email to receive my education pkg. From The VA In Order To Started For Spring Semester. Even Though The People In The I.T. Dept Werent Available. Leslie and Her Assistant Jumped Right On The Job To Give Me A Most Harmonious Experience In An Other Wise Hostile Environment The UF Bookstore During A Very Crazy Time Of The Year. Great place to buy gifts and the like but as with all college book stores, its pricey. They have some really good quality stuff though so I can give them a pass on that.

A great store with a huge selection of items to choose from in all categories, whether it be apparel or even just getting a snack. The employees there are kind and very helpful and the check out lines seem to run quickly. Pretty much anything displaying the Gator brand can be found here, and its the best source for everything University of Florida, but thats to be expected.

Once you visit campus you have to go to the bookstore. Its such a great atmosphere with the freshmen to seniors, parents and of course, Alumni. Love this store

Lots of choices for parents to spend their money! Good assortment of school supplies with good prices. All shelves stocked and easy to find. Regarding textbooks... the university should be more prepared for orders by knowing the enrollment in each class. Too many backorders and charged for backorders with no return.

A wide selection, but very few legitimately good-looking shirts -- especially when it comes to polos and button-downs. UF should contract with better designers.

The service is pretty good. The staff is competent and knows where the books you need for your classes are located.The main problem I have with this book store is the fact that they create fees out of nowhere to charge you more money. They have a $2.59 processing fee in addition to the renting fee. This fee is not included in the price you see when you pick up the book. Be transparent with what you charge the students. Some of us do care about our money.I might sound cheap, but I do not have angels giving me free money every day.

I’m not a Florida fan, however, whenever my son and I travel we try to stop by the university bookstores and pick up a shirt or something with that school’s name on it.We’re not SEC fans (I’m an Oklahoma alum and my son currently attends OU) but all of the campuses we’ve visited in the SEC have been amazing. The Florida campus is no different and the bookstore offered one of the best varieties of Gator merchandise you’ll probably ever find.Friendly staff and great selection.

There is no better place to find Gator merch. Their selection is vast. The prices are high, but I want to believe some of that mark up is supporting the mission of the university.

This is the main campus bookstore. It has a few Pros. One, its fairly big. Two you can get high quality Gator paraphernalia especially apparel. Three the customer service is very good. Cons include high prices, the assortment seems a little bit less broad than it was a decade ago, and they need to be more in touch with current fashion trends. For example, they lack mens slim fit or fitted apparel. Unfortunately this is the kind of retail space that online retailers target and would seem vulnerable to.

Great selection in store. Mens t shirts approx $30, caps $20, Nike jumper $70..Often need to wait in line to check outOnline store is a nightmare. They offer PayPal but it doesnt work consistently. I put in a big Black Friday order and the order cancelled itself because of an unknown PayPal error (which I didnt know until I called when my order seemed to be taking a long time to process). The staff in store were not helpful (called 3 times and visited in store twice). Was told I could repurchase and be refunded 30% and was then later told it wasnt their fault PayPal failed so I needed to pay full price. I went to the second hand store instead and got lots of great stuff for a quarter of the price.The bookstore is not owned by the University.

Surprisingly, the gator bookstores prices were actually better than the prices in the gator stores at the oaks mall 🧡💙🐊

The materials I needed, the manager said will arrive within 3 to 8 weeks into this semester. Now keep in mind, this has happened twice.It can be said that, they dont deserve this 1-star review. I agree with that statement. Not because they did a terrible service to me, but rather no service was given at all. Twice.

This store has literally EVERYTHING, from clothing to car mats, with the Florida Gators logo on it. Its pretty cool; nice to look at. The prices are expensive, of course. Especially the clothing, its like any clothing store price🤷‍♀️

Large collection of UF merchandise. Prices are in the higher range. Would be happy if they had some form of discount for staff and students for everything!

Great place, not usually packed

Expensive but convenient if living on campus. You can find most textbooks cheaper online. I bought a book here for $30 then peeled off their sticker to find that the MSRP was $20. They marked it up 50%! I went here mostly to buy various things out of convenience when living on campus my first two years.

UF bookstore has everything for the ultimate Gator fan n student.

Lot and lots of great Gator gear. If it aint here, it dont exist.

It has a very nice atmosphere and everything there is very nice and clean. Its also connected to the reiz union which is nice. The staff is pretty ok they didnt really try to help and sounded a little annoyed

Fabulous. Tremendous selection of clothing and gift items.

There is a wide selection of products within the store. The store is convenient since it is in the middle of campus at the Reitz Union and it allows you to easily replace items. The only problem is that many of the products are overpriced. Going to a supermarket like Walmart would give you the same products for a much lower price.

If you need something for school or the gator fan in your life, youll find it here. In addition to books they have snacks, shirts, flip-flops. Dorm stuff, hats, stuffed animals, tailgating essentials, pool table lights, and so much more. If you need something with the gator head on it, its probably here.

Easy go to place whenever you need something quick, whether it be a book or supplies.

Its a campus boolstore, like any other. Great for convenience, a nightmare for costs. Honestly, the upcharge here for getting it on campus is only worth it if youre desperate. Otherwise, check elsewhere, even for liscenced gator merch. Your wallet will thank you.

Ordered a book and was told it would be in within 3 days. 3 days go by, I go to check on the book and staff tells me that they lost my order but a new order was put in and would be in 2 days. Go in again still no order placed, yet they have the book on the shelf. Speak to management and he just stood there. After a month I finally got an email saying my order is ready to be picked up. Never spending my money there again!

Cashiers were very friendly. I accidentally purchased the wrong charger cord for my phone, and the cashier (wish I had asked for her name!) realized before I even did and immediately made the exchange. If I had taken it home and opened it, I wouldnt have been able to receive a refund.
