This place is amazing! I was at the Wawa across next door and locked my keys in my car. The locksmith that was across the street, was trying to charge me $50. So I went to Auto ER and explained the situation and everyone was SO NICE and they were all so willing to help!! I offered to pay them but they opened my car for me free of charge!! They came over and got into my car less than 5 minutes of me asking. Great people and great service. ANY services you need, come see them! Nicest mechanics in town by far!! Thank you guys again!!

I’ve come to Auto ER several times over the past couple years and they have always been very kind, helpful, and quick with their service. Abner is especially kind, but every staff member that has helped me here has been great. Came in to have my battery changed on my Honda and had a good experience! Abner was very professional and gave me updates about my vehicle as it was being fixed. I appreciate how staff sends you a detailed report about your vehicle which is organized based on priority of issues (okay, suggested and priority) that needs to be addressed and included pictures. They were also very upfront with the prices. Would definitely recommend this place!

The folks at Auto ER were able to diagnose and fix my cars AC and replace brake pads/rotors just a couple hours after dropping it off! Seeing how full the shop was I was sure it would be another day before they could get it done. Super friendly staff and clearly a well run shop.

My experience with Auto ER was fantastic and the customer service was phenomenal. My service was fast, professional, and the detailed report of my car’s problems gave me such an insight on how to move forward. The culture and energy from the staff made me feel as if I were a client on a History or Discovery Channel custom car show such as Counts Kustoms or Counting Cars. Auto ER is a one stop shop for body, collision, oil, tire, paint and repair and I look forward to returning to work with people that share the same passion for car projects as I do.

Service was exceptional. Worked with Abner. He was professional and compassionate. They worked with me and scheduling constraints and financial constraints to identify what was important to fix NOW and what could wait a little while. Would recommend to anyone.

DO NOT GO THERE if you want your car to be fixed. They were taking their sweet time and told me the very last minute that my AC doesn’t work anymore. (It was fine after the collision) There are still bunch of error code after spending $4500. So I have received a car that got a traction light on and a broken AC. They also broke the fishing rod that I have left in my car. The owner did offer to pay for my fishing rod but I still have not received my check. Ive sent him 3 emails and did not get any response.

One of my turning signal bulbs went out and needed to be replaced. Abner and the rest of the staff were very friendly and professional. My bulb even had to be picked up from another store, but Abner did not charge me at all for the replacement and service. Had a pleasant experience and I highly recommend this place!

Want to give a huge shout out to this automotive shop, I’ve been traveling back and fourth from Tallahassee to Gainesville for constant 6 months for taking my son to Shand’s. Today before my wife got on the road I noticed under our EDGE the protective cover underneath was sagging. So I took it by they got me in quick and fixed it up so she can get back on the road. Since coming here I’ve used them on my other vehicle as well. I will be continuing to use this shop. Excellent and very professional and honest. Thank you!

Came in with a broken latch mechanism (which had been through the ringer) on my driver door (I was getting out Duke’s of Hazard style!) Expecting to wait a most of the day and empty the last of my wallet, Bobby gave me the biggest shock/relief by telling me they fixed it and since they didn’t need to replace anything, I was good after a very short wait. 1000/10 recommend. Jessie came out to check the damage and give an estimate, and when he saw it was a quick fix, was able to pop it back on right there! The waiting room is so clean and welcoming! They also have a shuttle that can drop you off if you can not wait around. Their employees are extremely nice and trust worthy. Highly recommend going here. They break the mold of typical car mechanics!

These guys bury their bad reviews by posting fake ones and offering incentives for positive ones. The owner responds to EVERY NEGATIVE REVIEW and I believe they then post fake ones to cover their tracks. My story is simple bait and switch where I took my car in for an alignment. Now before I brought the car in, I called to make sure they could provide the alignment report showing the before and after readings. They lied to my face, telling me ANYTHING just to get the $$$. Low and behold a few hours after my wife & I dropped off the car, we got a voicemail stating that although the car was done, their printer decided to print only what it wanted which did not include the alignment report.

This review was initially a very bad one. The AC on my car had quit working, so I took it to these guys. I spent almost $2400 to for repairs, which didnt work. The initial response from the Auto ER staff was legitimately enraging, so I wrote a review. The manager left the note you see below, and true to his word, he followed up with me.What they did next helped me get from hate to admiration.Over the next few weeks, Auto ER did everything they could to get the AC on this car working again. Replaced the intake manifold. Replaced the valve cover. Replaced the AC thermostat control thingy twice. They did it all for free, and they did it fast. It took a few times to get it right -- it was a challenge to figure out the problem -- and I honestly wanted to give it up. But the manager (Bobby) wouldnt let me quit and wouldnt let me walk away without a 100 percent working AC.So yeah, these guys are good. And theyve got integrity.

Would recommend. Honestly generally great. I simply got an oil change on a VW Jetta 2019. They use Mighty oil. Also changed my filter. Cost me less than multiple other places wouldve have. Great location. Not on the spot without an appointment, but still in timely fashion. Kind receptionists.I look forward to getting their services in the future.

At first I thought this place was good, but they charged and gave my wife Firestone tires when I specifically said I dont pay that much for tires and i wanted good year cause Firestone is nothing but extra money and then the next job they quoted nearly double what the next place did for same job. Excuse was oh well we have to move this and do that but isnt that what the labor charge covers? Before you get work done here please double check other places for the same job you might get screwed like they tried to screw me

These guys are awesome. I recently got my car in December and was devastated when a tree fell on it while driving. I brought it to Auto ER and Bobby Kelly came right out and greeted me so warmly and ensure me that he would get her back to new. There were no repairs that were skimped on and when I went to pick up my car it looked liked the day I bought it off the lot... brand new!!! The customer service and speediness was excellent! They checked everything I asked them to and gave me a full report and did not try to sell me anything extra. I bought new tires at another visit and was also impressed. I’ve used auto ER for over 2 years, and wouldn’t recommend any other mechanic. A year ago I had to get body repairs on my truck, and from start to finish everyone was professional and trust worthy with what they told me had to be done. As someone who dont know much about cars, I was really concerned when I found out that there was a piece of plastic hanging at the bottom of my car, dragging and making a lot of noises. I found out it was part of the engine splash guard/shield. So I took my car to AutoER to have the mechanics over there take a look. I met with Dalton, who listened and addressed my problem with ease. He told me it was a simple fix with just screws, and did not charge me at all. This really goes to show how much they truly care about their customer. I highly recommend this place! They just gained a customer, and Ill definitely go to them for any future car repairs or maintenance. Thanks again Dalton!

HIGHLY recommend Auto Er, I’ve been to 6th street location as well as the Archer Road location. Services vary from regular oil changes to body repair due to a wreck, everything was so smooth and simple. Every employee at the locations have always always always been honest and efficient with repairing our vehicle. I would not ever take my vehicles anywhere else! Auto ER should always be your first option for any service you’re needing!

I brought my car to Auto ER for a poor idle, starting issues, and stalling while coming to a stop while driving. When I dropped the car off, I explained these issues thoroughly. They did an entire-car inspection and diagnostic for me (supposedly) and they were able to fix the high/surging idle for me, and I had a bit of other work done on the car as well. They told me the cause of the starting and stalling issues were a few vacuum leaks, which they repaired. I picked my car up after a few days and they told me everything was fixed, including the stalling. They claimed to have test driven the car, but upon taking it home, it was still stalling. About a month later, the car wouldnt start so I had it towed to them to have it repaired. I also informed them that the stalling issue was still present, which they claimed was fixed the first time. I made sure to tell them that it seemed to only happen when the car was warmed up, so they could properly test it. Within a couple days, they fixed the starting problem, which was a blown ignition switch, and they claimed that that also had fixed the stalling. I take it home, and the stalling is still a problem. I called them back a few days later and told them I was bringing the car back for the stalling. It also had begun having difficulty starting again. I dropped it off on Saturday, and they told me theyd inspect it on Monday. By about Thursday, I had heard nothing, so I called and they told me they were waiting for an OBD-1 reader or something of the sort to diagnose the car. By the next Monday, I still hadnt heard anything so I called back again and asked for an update and they told me that there were many EVAP leaks present and it would be $140 to fix them. I give them the go ahead to do the work, and by Thursday I still hadnt heard anything else so I called again, and they told me Id receive a call on Friday about it. Friday comes, no call. I call right before closing and they tell me to expect a call on Monday. This time, they actually do call on Monday, and they tell me they couldnt do the repairs because it was out of their scope. They kept my car for a total of 16 days, doing absolutely no work on it, giving me zero updates unless I called, even after they diagnosed it, quoted me for the work, and I okayed it. When I picked my car up, I was told that it would take them close to a year if I wanted them to fix my EVAP leaks. I took my car home, and they wont be getting anymore business from me. My advice is that if you have anything more complex than fluid or bulb changes, dont take your car here. Im convinced they just didnt feel like working on the car, so they let it sit instead. This is after they told me my problems were fixed two separate times.

We had a vibration in our Jeep at highway speeds and decided we needed one tire spin balanced, because the issue started after a tire rotation at home in south Florida and was likely the former spare. We walked in to this location based on web reviews. Dalton Davidson and Abner Espinoza recommended we balance all 4 tires, and they were able to squeeze us in on a very busy day when they learned we were on a road trip. Very reasonably priced and super service, and problem solved! We wholeheartedly recommend this location of AutoER.

I really hate getting the oil in my car changed. It’s time consuming and normally consists of some guy mansplaining all the things wrong that will cost a bazillion dollars and how I couldn’t possibly understand but should just trust him.THIS DIDN’T HAPPEN HERE AT ALL.From the moment I walked in, I knew this place was different. I was met by Dylan who asked some questions, offered me coffee and took my car back. About 15 min later I got a text kn my phone while waiting and he had sent a detailed report along with pictures of everything that was right, everything just okay and anything wrong. It was warm and cozy and very welcoming and pretty quick too. I definitely recommend this place and will only be coming here in the future. Their transparency was so refreshing!

The people at Auto ER truly went above and beyond. After I was in an unfortunate accident a couple of weeks ago, I began shopping around for where to get my vehicle fixed. After getting a couple quotes, Auto ER was the CHEAPEST and most convenient location for me, so I brought it to them to be fixed. They promptly ordered the parts I needed and once they were in, they fixed my car in only a couple of days. I must say, the work they did is nothing short of a miracle. My car literally looks even better than when I bought it! A shuttle brought me to and from my home so I didnt have to arrange a ride. Jesse, the head of the body shop, is fantastic at what he does. I was always informed of what was happening. Overall, Auto ER turned what should have been a truly annoying and unenjoyable experience into a comfortable and pleasant one. I was at the Wawa right next to auto ER putting air in my tires. The “free” air tire machine kept on beeping making weird noises so I stop using the air pressure machine and decide to drive toto another gas station to check my air pressure. When I drove off I heard a loud pop noise soI stopped immediately and notice my tire was distached from my rim. Thankfully auto Er was right next door to Wawa and they took my car immediately to get serviced. I truly appreciate the staff for helping me!

If you want the run around and untimely repairs, this is your place! Had my gear linkage break on Tuesday morning and had it towed to this place since it was closest to museum (visiting from out of town). They had to order the part and would be getting it the next morning and would call when ready to repair it. They called at noon to say the part was in but had no idea how long it would take to do the 1.5 hour repair, as they had a tech call out for the 2nd day in a row. I told them I couldnt be without my car all day, so they said bring it in around 3pm and they would get it done. I dropped it off around 2pm, walked from the store to the stadium and back, to give them time to complete the repair. When I returned at 345pm, they hadnt even began the repair. They offered to drive me to my hotel so I wouldnt have to wait at the shop and would call around 6pm when it was done to schedule to pick me up. They called at 530pm to say they didnt get to my car today but would have it done, guaranteed, by noon Thursday. I called Thursday at 1145am to see how it was going and they said they had just started the repair. I walked from my hotel to their shop and arrived around 1pm to have them give me the song and dance of a tech called off and they ran into an issue getting console taken apart. As you can see, they are ill prepared for handling a 1.5 hour repair, and they now have had my car for 1 full day and would have been longer if I hadnt said I needed it. No offer of a discount for my troubles, just empty apologies. DO NOT USE THEM!

Horrible service, shoddy work and zero professionalism. I took my vehicle in for an expensive repair. I dealt primarily with the owner and he seemed annoyed throughout the entire transaction. It wasnt until after I paid I noticed several problems with the work that was done. When I walked inside to speak to the owner I showed him the problems, he said yeah? So? He was obtuse and grossly unprofessional.I shouldve taken their bad reviews more seriously, it couldve saved me a lot of time and money. Their only response to bad reviews is accusing the reviewers of not even being customers??? The other body shops in town have better reviews for a reason, I will definitely be using one of them in the future.

I messed up my car pretty bad a couple days ago and I took it into Auto ER and Bobby gave me the hook up. I was so happy they were able to do it that same day as well, had me out of there in less than 10mins tops. I had a big trip the next day Bobby basically saved me hence the name Auto Er lol. But Auto ER provides Top quality service and customer service! And I’d Highly recommend them to anyone who needs a quick fix or body work done. Nicely fix my car

On the way to work my low tire pressure light came on. I pulled into the Wawa on Archer road assuming the colder weather was causing the issue and found my tire nearly deflated. I looked around and saw Auto ER was right next door and thankfully had time to take my car right away.Everyone in the store was so kind and professional, and the waiting area is very nice if you arent able to leave your car for the day. The assistant manager called me to let me know how much everything would be to fix and when I picked my car up everything was back to normal! I couldnt have asked for a better experience.

I really wanted to like this place but I felt very frustrated with my experience with them. I think you’d be better off going somewhere local. I received a price quote from them and it was hundreds lower at another mechanic who offered the same services. They told me my car would be functional for a good amount of time and it had new problems in the same week that I payed for the basic problems to be fixed. I also felt like they didn’t understand my problem with recharging for a diagnostic after I spent over a thousand doing repairs in the same month. I understand this is the policy but I felt undervalued as a customer. If you’re a young woman like me I’d recommend going somewhere else to not get overcharged.

This is the best auto repair shop in Gainesville! I’ve been here for everything from collision repair and a smashed window to new tires. They’ve fixed everything within a timely manner, and at a great price. I got a flat tire and really needed it fixed asap so I showed up right at open (8 am) with last minute notice, in hopes that they could change my tire within 15 minutes so I could get to work in time and they did!

They replaced more Than was needed, then I still had to go to my other mechanic for the same issue a week later and he charged me half the price.. scammers

I was having issues with my car battery, so I thought, so I called and spoked to Dalton and told him my problem. He told me they werent busy at the moment and can take a look. I paid the diagnostic charge and they were able to find the problem wasnt my battery. But my fuse block.My concern was leaving the car overnight or 2 days cause of work so I asked how soon they can fix this. Keep in mind this was around the beginning of December and Dalton told me he can have my car out that same day no problem.Ever since then my car stopped dying on me and I feel very comfortable with AutoER crew. I took my car here once and regret it. I brought it in and explained the issue of the car overheating.After being left there a few days they told me the car was good and gave it back to me. I left the car with my brother and was informed that he had smoke coming from underneath the hood.We went back and when I asked why they missed the actual issue, they claimed that I never informed them that the engine was heating up. I looked at the paperwork they gave me and they had never written it down under comments that I had on the issue when I first brought it in.They refused to take responsibility for their oversight and I was left having to replace the entire motor when this could have been avoided if they had addressed the root cause if the issue I presented them with.On the plus side, I learned to always check paperwork and what is documented when you turn your car in to get repaired. The ineptitude of this shop still makes me angry, and I do not recommend them to anybody.

Completely unprofessional they lost my plate that my mom had just paid $250 for and this is my license plate I do not recommend Auto ER ever

When a deer ran out in front of me and my front end took a big hit, a good friend recommended Auto ER for the collision damage repair. I had an estimate within 15 minutes on a busy Monday morning. They worked with my insurance company to finalize and process the claim smoothly. And the car looks amazing - just like brand new! I worked with Jessie in the office, and he was always so helpful and quick to respond to my calls or emails. I will definitely be a good friend too and recommend Auto ER to my friends.

Good experience. Prices were fair to high but the service was outstanding. Nice waiting room and job finished when promised. I will be back again (just hope not too $oon)

Got a flat tire on my way to work but luckily was right by this place. They put my spare on in no time and had me ok my way back to work! Awesome place and great service.

I needed some major body work done and Auto ER did a great job with it. They were extremely communicative and professional.

People were professional, polite and respectful. Very knowledgeable. I took my car there to correct another garage mistakes (plural). They had it fixed in three days, transmission etc. Very satisfied.
