I was looking forward to tasting some nice tart apples when we cut into the pie. Their firm texture seemed promising. But the obscene amount of sugar in the crumb topping completely overwhelmed any other flavor! On my next try, I scraped off the topping and it tasted a little better, but the pies filling is also just too sweet, imo.

I purchased the Key Lime last week which is my husband’s favorite. His description was “the pinnacle of key lime pies”. Brie was most helpful in the purchase (included cute coffee cups). Good job Brie and Batch in Allen!

I had a wonderful time here picking up pies for mine and my sons birthday! Its a beautiful location and bakery. Their thumbprint cookies(tried vanilla and strawberry) are delicious! The i-40 pie tastes dreamy! I cant wait to try the chocolate cream, peanut butter, and apple pies. I will be back!

Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop is delicious! We had Apple pie (which is pictured) and a peanut butter pie with an Oreo crust which my little one loved! The Apple pie was fresh out of the oven when my husband bought them, and the Oreo crust pie came recommend by the staff for kiddos.The Apple pie was delicious- it could easily be shared by two people but it wasn’t too large to be eaten by itself (which I did 😂). The filing was amazing, the crust was flakey and buttery.I didn’t get to taste my little ones pie but her ate in a couple bites. We will be back! I can’t wait to try more! 🥧

Wow! Chocolate cream. Coconut cream. These are some of the best pies I’ve ever had! Better than Buttermilk pie shop that used to be here. Unfortunately it’s over 45 miles from where I live. But I will be making the journey often.

I was craving a keylime pie. We went on vacation to gulf shores and I was determined to find one. But I never found one. I came back home and found this place. The pie was so good, I took it to Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. I definitely recommend this place for any pies. They taste homemade.

Ever since this place changed from Buttermilk’s to Batch the service and attitude of the employees have been terrible. I’ve bought many Key Lime pies here and the last two I had to return. They had either been sitting in their inventory too long and had a stale taste or maybe the recipe was changed. Nevertheless, not good. Today when I returned the second pie the individual was rude; apparently remembered that I have returned a pie once already. I was told I couldn’t get paper receipt which was really strange and that they had to email or text the receipt. I provided my email address and left. About 15 minutes later I checked my email and still hadn’t received the refund receipt so I called the store. I spoke to the same individual, I gave her my email address again and then she hung up the phone on me. I received the refund receipt email immediately so clearly she did not enter my email address correctly the first time. There’s plenty of bakeries in town. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere moving forward.

Deliscious dessert pies. This is a cute little shop for buying different pies. I tried the buttermilk pie, the apple pie, and the I-40 (pecans, chocolate, and coconut). All were super yummy. There is no place to sit so plan on buying and eating at home (or in your car if you are hungry enough like I was)

If you like that taste of a fresh, home made pie this is definitely the place that you have to go to! All the flavor are delicious but my favorites of all the time are the I-40 and the key lime pie! They are delicious! Perfect for any celebration or just for your daily snack! Even for gifts! The store has a gift shop that is wonderful!

We ordered 240 of the itty bitty pies for our wedding and they were an absolute hit. We had 3 different flavors - chocolate cream, the I-40 (pecan with coconut and chocolate), and key lime. All three flavors were fantastic. The key lime was among the best I’ve ever had.The folks at this location were super easy to work with in both placing and picking up our order. Compared to many other pie shops, the prices here are much more reasonable. I would highly recommend this place whether you are catering for an event or just craving a little bit (or lot of) pie.We will be back to try the flavors we missed!

This place is amazing! The best key lime pie I’ve had anywhere around town! Can’t wait to go back to try their lemon icebox pie next.

My second time trying. Good flavors in theory but overly sweet both times...even for me and I can handle my sugar. Lacks either citrus or salt or more vanilla or other flavors to balance/contrast or maybe just a little less sugar. Chocolate pecan was almost inedible it was so sweet and the coconut pie filling was good but the meringue on top was so big and sweet, it was hard to reach the filling. I need to cut back anyway.

The chocolate cream pie was just what my sweet tooth needed! friendly, fast and served curbside so i wouldnt have to get out and unload my two babies. the woman was so nice and had the cutest bedazzled mask on to help prevent this covidwildfire! go help this new local bakery by taking advantage of their bogo deals!!

I needed three 4-inch pies to take to someones house for dinner. I bought key lime pie, chocolate chess pie, and apple. Everyone loved them including the key lime pie-lover in the group. The service was great inside the store. As you would expect, these pies are more expensive than what you would find in a grocery store. However, if you need a pie that you know is going to be great, I would go here.

I wasnt much of a pie person before but my husband & I both LOVE this place. The I-40 pie (which is a delicious mix of pecan, chocolate & coconut) and the buttermilk pie are by far my favorite. friendly staff & good service too!

2nd time visiting and boy, was I impressed! While the apple pies were still in oven, I was chatting with a few of the employees and mentioned how long of a wait for balloons to be filled at party city. One girl asked if i had them with me and said that she could fill them for me while i waited! Beyond impressed with their customer service to make sure I threw a party without a hitch!

Okay. I cant speak enough how great this place is! I stopped in earlier to grab something for my wife and I. Had a nice conversation with the owner and she snuck a little surprise treat in my bag without me looking. Best pies and best people in Frisco!

Not as good as the Allen location :( . I only shop at the one in Allen but went to this one today. The I-40 I usually get was way too sweet, no balancing of flavors and the crust was stale. I couldnt even eat it. On the other hand they did have some cool things like candles and coffee.

This has to be one of my favorite dessert places in Frisco. The key lime and I-40 are to die for. The staff is very kind and clearly like their jobs.

Delicious pie, and outstanding customer service. Would like to have tried them all. Apple was our favorite, Peanut Butter Cream is delightfully smooth and satisfying, I-40 was a interesting mix of textures that was tasty treat.

Very friendly staff here. I have came here multiple times and haven’t been disappointed once. The pie flavors are intriguing and delicious. The mini pies are also the perfect size for a snack. Anyone in the area needs to try this pie shop, as it is one of the best I’ve had.

I ordered a pie online a few days in advance for my wifes birthday and it was ready to pick up on time. The price for our 9 inch I-40 pie was $23.00.The I-40 pie was indulgent. Its a mixture of pecans, chocolate ships, toasted coconut and pecan pie filling in a shortbread crust. Throw it into the oven for a few minutes and it will smell and taste like the best possible combination of homemade chocolate chip cookies and the Girl Scouts Samoas cookies. We somehow managed to make it last 4 servings, but I could see a family of 4 devouring this in one sitting. Grab a fork and aim for the bottom!

Took my family and we each had a mini and sampled. The Apple, the key lime, and the I-40. All were very good and the minis are just the right size! We’ll definitely go back...several times.

Came here about a week ago with a friend and got 2 mini pies, the chocolate cream and the apple pie. The apple pie was okay, it tasted like most room temperature apple pies would, the chocolate cream just tasted wrong, idk the chocolate in it had a weird, not pleasant taste and I ended up throwing it away after 2 bites. I can’t speak on their other pies but I’m not planning on coming back here

GThese folks didnt disappoint Im a pastry designer and I bought four personal pies and the coconut and chocolate was my personal best I do recommend I45 if you want to entertain. I was greeted at the door with samples and a warm invitation to the shop great customer service is a competitive advantage and I will be back definitely THE sky has no limit I wish you folks much success.

I-40 pie was awesome. I bought it for the pi day (3/14) celebration at my work and all my colleagues liked it.

I had high hopes because I was craving pie and found this place on Google maps. I purchased the 4 key lime and my husband got the 4 apple. The key lime didnt have much crust. I had to scrape to the bottom of the pie to find it and the the rim of the pie had an egg smell. Overall I didnt eat it - I couldnt get past the smell. The apples in my husbands pie was dry and the pie was mostly crumble. The crumble didnt have any flavor - it was just sweet. Overall my husband didnt eat his pie either.

The mini pies are perfectly sized for a single serving. Their flavor variety is very good, and the monthly specials will keep you coming back.

I pre ordered pies since i live out of town and was driving to Frisco for the day. I ordered a variety box and it was supposed to have 3 chewy chocolate chip pies but it did not. Very disappointed we didnt get to try the chewy chocolate chip. But the pies that were in the box were delicious.

Very disappointing experience this week. Got two small pies - the chocolate chip and the brownie. The chocolate chip was more pie crust than cookie and did not taste good. Brownie was baked on top and uncooked liquid batter in the middle.

Saw this shop on my way to dinner with friends. Since I was early I decided to stop in arms have a look. Sampled a wonderful coconut cream pie and ended up leaving with a buttermilk pie. Engaging and friendly staff.

I dont know if I could work there because I know I would have a muffin top by the end of my shift.The owner, Leah is super friendly to talk to and helpful with making the right pie-cision. I had the Buttermilk Pie Mini and the pie crust wasnt flaky, bland and the pie was just so-so. I also had the Key Lime Pie Mini, while it was better than the Buttermilk, its not worth me making a second trip.

The hospitality was AMAZING and super helpful, the coconut cream I got was AMAZING, and the inside of the building was super cute and had adorable decorations! :)

Good news, Bad newsI did buy a $4.25 mini pie just for this review.Good News, the pies are excellent so we don’t have to debate that issue.Here’s the bad news, $23 for a 9” pie, Are you kidding me?I understand that they are near Starwood and Willow Bend but give me a break. There is no way they could convince me that the a 9” Non-Organic pie is worth $23.Good thing the Starwood, Willow bend neighborhoods are really close.Bottom Line: As long as your Wallet is thick this is your pie shop.Looks like my search will continue.Next up Frisco’s Casa Linda Bakery.
