Been there twice for the same simple problem. Neither time it was fixed. Have to deal with them for a third time because of a warranty contract. But it seems pointless. I’d almost rather pay another mechanic to fix it or do it myself. No point in trusting this dealership, even when you purchase an extended warranty from them because they are ineffective and terrible to stay in contact with.
First of all my GMC was not inservice on 10/27/21. This place is lying to cover there tracks when never completing the job. I took my ACadia in and was told work was complete when it was not. Replacement module was not programmed. Had to have work completed myself. I tried to get service manager call me be he did not. Every experience with this place is horrible. Bad service horrible management and not good for GMC brand.
In April 2021, I came in for a 60,000 maintenance service and new tires over $1600. July 2021, an oil change, engine filter, cabin filter, and new windshield wiper blades over $300. In September 2021, camshaft replacement $425. Battery replacement in October $263. Each receipt listed that Fresno Buick GMC performed a complimentary inspection but never mentioned that my battery was going bad or needed to be replaced soon, which was disappointing. I overheard a customers conversation with a manager about his car being at the service center since August. The manager said several technicians had been out with Covid-19, and he would try to get another technician to look at his car.The gentleman was visibly upset. The manager began to get louder with his explanation about Covid-19 hitting the dealership hard, and its the same for every service center in town. The most disturbing was that the manager and the service rep did not have on a mask. I looked around. None of the staff was wearing masks even though the service center had been hit hard by Covid-19. After five hours, I was notified that my car was ready. After overhearing several technicians were affected by Covid-19, I sprayed my car down with Lysol before driving off. Before coming to Fresno Buick GMC, Michaels Chevrolet Fresno serviced my vehicle. I came to Fresno Buick GMC because my car is a Buick, but after my experiences with Buick GMC of Fresno, I will return to Michaels.
No haggling. No games. The price quoted was the price paid. I was in and out at the exact time they predicted. Amazing, courtesy service. Reliable work. It couldn’t have been more ideal. The entire staff did an amazing job !!
We took our 2021 Yukon to fix the rear lift gate for the second time because it would not open. They returned it to us with other items not working. The front Collison, lane departure and cruise control all now working now. When we called to get it back in they said that they couldn’t get us in because they only had two service techs. They never gave us a date to return just left us hanging.
Very friendly and professional service. Went to the service center with my 2007 buick Lucerne not purchased from the dealership and they treated me like family anyway. I set up an appointment so there was hardly any wait at all. They took my car to the back, told me what needed to be done, gave me some expert advice and sent me on my way!Special thanks to Arsham for making my experience a great one! 👍
Been coming here for a while. Either their service has slipped, or theres a huge difference between under warranty car care and not.Brought my old beater in Tuesday afternoon. Needed a starter. They wanted to diagnose the problem, and told me that the diagnostic fee would go to the repair. Thats fine.Asked them to look at the a.c. as well. Another 170$ diagnostic fee. Thats understandable. Day and a half later I call for status. Yes its the starter but the want another 365$ to diagnose the a.c. I passed as I needed the car.Finally done Friday afternoon. An hour before the shop closes for the weekend. Luckily I was able to slip out of work.All and all not disappointed. Just felt the customer service was better when it was a warranty car, and I just dont see how any diagnostics could warrant a 535$ price tag for a single system.
I had to cancel my appointment because we had a heat/blackout the week before and had to reschedule; Fernando who worked with me the 1st visit assisted with this visit and got things all set up. Also I bought floor mates prior and he had put in my car after having to look for them. All good a great experience.
Not a good dealership to go to we got our car service there and nothing was actually done we spent $175 for a diagnostics test. We were better off flushing our money down the toilet.
Josh went above and beyond to help my son make his first purchase for his father. He sought out the vehicle we wanted and made it happen. Then went out of his way to drive it to us almost 3 hrs away. I was very disappointed with customer service and the amount of time it took to conduct an oil change on my vehicle. I had an appointment and it took a little over 2 hours to get my car. The person assisting me with a paperwork appear to be in a bad mood and mad at the world.

I have never experienced such obsolete service. The first day we came to look at a SUV, one guy came up and said he is currently helping someone else but will be with us as soon as he could. He opened the vehicle for us to look inside and then just never came back. We stood around waiting for probably over an hour, so we started looking at some vehicles at the dealership next door and test drove two. By the time we came back they were already closed. Since I really wanted to test drive the SUV, we decided to come back the next day. Same scenario again, except this time we were told to wait inside until he finished up, but when he did, he went straight out the door of the dealership to help someone that just showed up to look at some trucks. We will never go back. Went to one of the sister dealerships and their service was exactly what you would expect. They might be a over 30 minutes away instead of just down the street, but it was worth it, their service was and continues to be exceptional. This dealership lost a lifetime costumer. But hey, Im sure its no sweat off their back.

We showed up to Buick looking for a family car we loved the guy that helped us in customer service, his name was Ray. But when we decide to move forward with the vehicle they moved us to someone else. We bought the car but about a week later they called us and said the bank was raising the interest rate. So we came back in and they gave us the option either sign for more money or you can leave the car, by this time we were so invested how could we not. Not long after, say about another week they call asking for utility bill then a few days later they call and say we dont insurance the car which wasnt true. And not to mention they had an attitude about it.
They forgot to apply first responder rebate when they were quoting us. When following up on the issue, blame was placed on us (wife and I) for not getting the code, which we were not notified about. To rectify the situation, the dealership was forcing us to drive all the way back, which is normally not a hardship, but in our case we drove an hour just to get there. We were threatened if we did not go we would not receive the rebate. Simple question: does this company respect their first responders to that degree? One of the managers that was finalizing our contract the first time (has a European accent) needs work on his customer service skills because he comes off as arrogant and rude.
Our truck needed repairs. We dished out about 6k :( for a much needed turbo. They were helpful, kind and lent us a car when we needed it.. while it tool a long time for our truck to get fixed. Over all trusty and nice ppl.
Ray was very helpful!! In fact all of the staff that we encountered were very helpful and ready to answer our questions!! No one was pushy!! They were patient with us!!

I arrived at 7:30 am, and the dealership was busy. My oil change, engine, and cabin filter replacement, and wiper blades took three hours. The complimentary Wi-Fi allowed me to get some work done. Although my estimate was $343, the end total was $319, costly for an oil change IMO. However, my motto is to care for your car properly, and it will take you where you want to go. I left the dealership at approximately 10:45 am to get a carwash. While removing water bottles from the passenger seat, I noticed a screw was not put back in place after the cabin filter change. I took my car back to have the screw put back in place. The technician put the screw in place but still left items from the glove box on the passenger floor. I understand we all get busy, but you cannot sacrifice the integrity of your work for speed. Especially when your prices are higher than the competition and your wait times are longer, even with an appointment. As always, Armen was very gracious and apologetic.

Purchased a new 2021 GMC truck and drove it 22 miles and notice that the transmission was leaking oil. Call the dealership and was extremely disappointed with their willingness to make me feel comfortable with that everything was going to be taken care of. They acted like it was my responsibility to take action on returning the truck to the dealership. Want me to drive the truck not knowing how much transmission fluid was still in the transmission or what kind of damage would be done. Called to find out what was wrong with transmission and was transferred back and forth from sales to service 3 times with know one taking accountability. Asked to speak to a manager was transferred 2 more times and finally told a manager was unavailable. Asked to have a manager call me know one called me. Called back the next day asked to speak to a manager after being transferred 3 time received voicemail and left a message. Someone did call back but I wasn’t able to get to the phone they didn’t leave a voicemail so I called back again transferred 2 more times and went to voicemail again. It’s now 2 days later and I still haven’theard for a manager at Fresno Buick/GMC. Did talk to a service rep that told me a seal on the transmission was installed wrong and they are ordering the part. Now I currently have no confidence that this truck transmission will be the same as a new transmission built correctly. Extremely dissatisfied and researching what my next steps will be.Ok here is the latest update on my brand new GMC AT4. After going through the poorest service ever I picked up my truck on Monday drove it home and on Tuesday went to the doctor and back home. Guess what, more transmission fluid leaking on my driveway. Call the GM which went to his voicemail, called service which went to voicemail, 20 minutes later a service rep called me said, “the GM called him” truck is being towed for the 2nd time in 6 days of ownership. I asked the service person to have the GM call me, my guess that will never happen.

Before I scheduled my oil change I asked if it included a tire rotation and I was told yes. Well when I got home after it was serviced I noticed my tires were not rotated.. If youre not going to do something why mention that its part of the service.

I called about a Recall Notice on Thursday and had an appointment for Friday. Came in at8:00am and they were done by 9:15pm. They were very fast and efficient.
$896 estimate for thermostat swap and fluids. Went to another dealership... they laughed and charged just under $300. The other dealership says a lot of customers have been bringing in overcharged estimates. This dealership has gone down fast... sad.
Brought car in to have molding strip replaced. Paid $150 for strip to be put on. Advisor told me car was done and learned from past experiences I now have to check Fresno Buick’s work. Found moulding strip was still not fastened down properly. Had to get tech to take car back and fix properly.
I was very pleased with my service. I made an appointment, Very friendly and prompt. I was very disappointed in receiving a coupon 5 days later. That expires in 2 weeks for my next service. That would of saved me over a hundred bucks.
Service repair and warranty work was great, BUT what was to take 2 1/2 hours ( as I sat in the waiting room because I was from out of town) ended up taking almost 7 hours. Very disappointed in the speed and lack of communication from service manager, as I HAD TO go get my own updates on the progress of my car.

I am just about done with the service department at this location. When you schedule an appointment for an oil change and expect to wait an hour and time after time wait 2 plus hours in the waiting room it is poor management. Last time it took me 2.5 hours for an oil change. This time I have already been waiting 2 hours and they are still not done. It is honestly better to drive an hour to Tulare where they have better customer service and are reliable. In Tulare they also give you a check out form with the results from the inspection. This location does not do this. I have to ask for it which takes them 15 plus minutes to find the form after the service has been completed.I have been a GMC owner for over 20 years and have always taken my GMC to the dealership to get service. Since I live in Fresno I thought I would try the service here. I can honestly say this location is poorly managed and I am disappointed. It makes me rethink buying another GMC or at least coming back to this location.Update: It only took 2.5 hours for them to finish my oil change. I forgot to mention that when I arrived they told me I should get $900 worth of things done to my car. Mind you after consulting with the GM service schedule for my vehicle only 1 of the items was listed. I decided to call another dealership for advice as I felt very uncomfortable. Another customer in the waiting room overheard my conversation and felt like this service department was trying to take advantage of me as a young woman. Mind you I will not be getting anything besides an oil change at this location.Upon check out I had to again request the Multi Point Vehicle Inspection Report. If I am going to pay $83 for this service, the customers should receive this form upon check out and should not be made to feel it is a hassle.

I went in on Sunday to look at a 2020 Sierra Denali. I went home to get my trade in to make the deal, when I came back they sold the truck. So I then decided to buy another similar truck. After trading in my car and doing the paperwork. I was told my truck would be there Tuesday. Truck never showed up dealer never called me. I called Wednesday and was told my truck would be there Saturday. Went to the dealership Saturday still no truck. The manager said there was a mix up and my truck was in Bakersfield and would be there Wednesday. I asked if it was the same truck I bought. He said no its a different truck with the same options.So basically I bought a truck put insurance and financed it..but now its gone lol. I did all the paperwork on a truck they never had. Everytime I call its one excuse after another very unprofessional dealership! Ive been without a car for over a week now.Update 9/01/20 still no truck and the manager confirmed they sold the truck I originally purchased. So if the other truck ever gets here I have to go through all the paperwork again. Smh!

This is my second time that I was given false expectations. 1st time my car went in for a repair that I was told was minor and would cost 150.00. My car ended up staying with you guys for 4 days and the final total was 346.00. This time I had a 1:30 pm appointment for an oil change I was there until 3:40pm then was asked if my car could be kept over night. I responded no then was told my car would be done in 15 minutes that turned into 40. I was not happy

Bought a 2015 Buick Enclave, for the last five years took it to a Buick dealership for every service and oil change, for the last 2 1/3 to 3 year airbag light have been staying on, took it in the dealership but was told I had to pay 150.00 for diagnostic which I refuse because I felt like was being taking advantage of, which I was correct... Buick and GMC have been having this issue for years, but because GMC/Buick didnt not want to pay to do recall on all vehicles, they put out a service letter to dealership to fix cars that are under 72000 miles and never informed the customer until it was too late...... now they want to charge me to fix the problem that they knew about...... THANK YOU BUICK NOW I KNOW WHAT NOT TO BUY....SIGNED USE TO BE A LOYAL CUSTOMER...
I really enjoy this place. We have bought all of our cars there dating back to 2004. We have had great customer service and the service department was wonderful. All 3 cars we have purchased through there were brand new and the manager Mr Marks, made this stressful process, stress free. Thank you Mr Marks for taking the time to take care of us!! We will be back for our next car when needed.
Third time in the shop for the same issue with my cameras. The last time my vehicle was at the dealership for 2 weeks, they said they found the problem and ordered the part. I was told it would take 1 hour to replace. When the part arrived I made an appointment and told them I would wait for my vehicle. After 6 hours I was told they needed to keep my vehicle overnight. Finally picked my vehicle up only to find out 1 week later I still have the same problem. At this point I do not want my vehicle to be serviced at Fresno GMC.
If you are looking into buy a GMC, make sure to ask for Jackie... she is VERY knowledgeable and will go above and beyond. To top it off her personality is amazing if it wasn’t for her I don’t think we have purchased a 2020 GMC Sierra AT4!

Someone called and said it was battery. Said it would be about 189.00 for battery and 150.00 for labor which we approved. When we picked up car it was 608.00. ThAt was the only time he mentioned additional cost. Total con job.
Decided to give them a second chance. Had my wife drop off my truck. She waited for an hour no one helped her. I had a set appointment. I leave work take it in. No concern what so ever about the appointment they botched earlier in the day. Was promised a loaner, didnt have one. Sent me to enterprise rent a car they charged me 50 bucks i so havent gotten back. I refused to drive the minature rental. It was absolutely horrendous. Had them take me back to dealership and just give me a ride home. Picked up my truck 2 days later tires were rotated in a pattern Ive never heard of. I marked the tires before it took it in. I paid for the platinum detailing package, a little over 300 bucks. Not worth the money at all Ive had red carpet do a better job. Very disappointing. Ill be taking my truck to a different gmc dealership for any sort or servicing from now on. The way my wife was treated was unacceptable. The way my time was wasted being run around to get a awful rental in 100 degree weather isnt the greatest either. Only to be charged extra $ and so without a vehicle while mine was in the shop. Also I took it in to right a wrong that they messed up on. Was promised a nice loaner vehicle and a discount on the overall price of services. Neither happened. Mike straight out lied to me I feel like.I went back this is how it went.Ashram did excellent. I had a 2pm appointment for an oil change. He did everything he could to get it done in a quickly see how I was going to wait there. However service department has other ideas. My truck didnt get in the shop until 445pm. I didnt get out of there until 530pm. Seems as if the maintenance department is very poorly managed. Also while checking in my truck I noticed on the computer in big red writing that I was flagged for a bad review. What is that all about? So I now get special treatment when it go there? Like waiting 3.5 hours for an oil change? Ridiculous. Management needs to do their job over there. I wont be going back unless absolutely necessary.

My car broke down and I attempted to speak to someone in the service department to have my car towed to the dealer. No one never answered my phone call. I had my car towed to the dealer anyway. I never received a phone call about the findings of my car and it took me 2 days to finally get someone on the phone to tell me what was wrong with my car. I decide to take my car to someone else and was told I did not have to buy another battery just to change my alternator. It just needed to be recharged, it was a new battery. I was rmore more dissatisfied with the amount of time it took to get a person on the phone.

This has to be by far the worst experience Ive had with a dealership. It took them a WHOLE MONTH and a week to fix my car. I took it in on a later Thursday afternoon and I told them I understand that they wont be checking it today so I wasnt worried about getting an answer on Thursday. Didnt get a call on Friday. So I had reached out on Monday in hope of some kind of information. Then they asked me did I have any warranty on the vehicle I said yes and they wanted me to provide that information I said ok but can you get started on my car. The gentlemen said well we dont want to get started on the car if its the transmission and you know its a lot of money. I was in shock like what do you mean? Are you assuming I dont have the money to fix my car? This was very frustrating to me. Then by Thursday I had emailed the warranty over to one of the service advisor. I call on Tuesday the following week to get an update and they tell me that the transmission tech is out of town for a couple of days.. so I said ok called again the following Monday to get some type of update and then they asked me well were waiting for you to sent the warranty. I about lost it at this point and told them I already had sent that over weeks ago. He then asked who did you send it to I told him and he was like he no longer works with us. Like you have to be kidding me!!!! So then send him the warranty and I also explained that I needed a rental because it has been almost or close to being a month without a car. The advisor told me let me get this all situated and I will call you back. No call back so I called back Thursday and requested a rental they said to call back tomorrow. Called Friday and it honestly took them 2 mins to get all of this situated. By the end of the next week my vehicle was done. I dont understand why this was such a long process and such poor service! I dont understand why they couldnt give me a rental when I asked. I will never come back here again. If you can go to somewhere else please do this place is all around bad service and bad communication.
EDIT: Unfortunately, I am retracting my five star review for this dealership.SHORT VERSION: Dealership charged me for oil change and did not change the oil. Also, dinged my door and chipped the paint. If you do still decide to have your vehicle serviced here I would ask to speak with Austin L. because he is the best service advisor at this dealership.LONG VERSION:I purchased a 2015 GMC Sierra new from this dealership and routinely have my Sierra and my Terrain serviced here...until now. I recently brought my Sierra in for a basic oil change and tire rotation and discovered that the price for this service had gone up approximately $30. I still gave the go ahead to have my truck serviced at this price.I specifically stated that I did not want the technician to remove my cabin air filter from the truck because I change it myself, this saves the technician time and ultimately the dealership money. The technician proceeded to remove the cabin air filter to inspect it while the truck was parked over the vehicle lift. In the process the technician dinged my door on the lift post and chipped/scuffed the paint. I was not informed of this at the time and only noticed it once I got home. I immediately brought the truck back to the dealership and showed the service writer (Austin) the damage and he said that the truck will be completely detailed and the paint scuff removed at no charge. (Awesome)After I got back home I decided to check the oil in the truck and discovered the oil level to be approximately 3 quarts overfilled and the oil unchanged (still dark on dipstick). I immediately drained the excess oil out of the truck and kept it to show the service manager (see pictures). This was on Friday afternoon so I decided to wait until Monday morning to bring the truck back in.Monday morning rolls around and I arrive at the dealership as soon as the service department opens. I ask to speak with the service manager (Ernesto) because Austin was not in yet. I explain to Ernesto the situation and told him to check with Austin to verify the issue and he agrees to have the truck detailed.I arrived at the dealership on Monday afternoon to discover that the truck had been fully detailed. However, not only was the paint scuff was not removed from the truck, but they applied dressing to the interior and the engine bay, which I had specifically told them not to do. (Once again not having to apply dressing to these components saves time and money for the dealership).I showed Ernesto that they had not fixed the paint damage and he was not only rude, but seemed to not care. I had him send the truck back and immediately have the ding fixed, which it was. I also showed him the old oil that I had saved and he acted like he cared, but I was not offered a refund for the service until I specifically asked for one.This dealership is going downhill and I feel that it is necessary to show all of you that the service department is getting sloppy and unprofessional (except for Austin). This is what I expect from a quick-lube shop, not a dealership that represents the brand. I would not trust this service department with any vehicle, let alone $50,000+ new vehicles. Needless to say, after over five years of having my vehicles serviced here, I will not be coming back.(OLD REVIEW):The new management at this dealership is excellent. The service department is top notch and they have vastly exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Austin L. in the service department.
