A wonderful shop and tea service! Not only is it for a good cause, but also the tea was good and the food was delicious. Even my two young kids (8&9) really enjoyed the food, including my 8 year old who said it was the best hot chocolate (not a tea drinker) he has ever had. If you are hoping to have the high tea make sure you call ahead as they need time to prepare, but they were able to fit us in for the same day. The owners are extremely gracious and welcoming, and my kids and I were planning all the other people we should bring to this wonderful tea shop.

What a warm, inviting store and tea room.You’re greeted with beautiful artisan goods made by human trafficking survivors. The whole space is just cozy. Do yourself a favor and grab a bite to eat. The chicken salad croissant was the perfect light meal on a hot summer’s day. Couldn’t resist the British-style scone with jam and clotted cream or the lavender shortbread - both were unreal. So affordably priced as well. Such warm, friendly customer service, too! Can’t wait to visit again - looking forward to the next seasonal menu!

I live about an hour away from Fredericksburg. I decided to order high tea for my Mom for Mothers Day, delivered today. Snafu with delivery service which I successfully worked out. Freedom Society customer service before I ordered and with snafu was top-notch! My Mom very pleased with her high tea gift. I plan to visit Freedom Society one day when Im in town and have high tea there. Thanks Freedom Society!

Great store and tea shop. Staff are very polite and helpful, tea is wonderful, and it couldnt be for a better cause! Definitely recommend stopping by for a cup of tea and a scone and checking out some of the handmade gifts.

The girls in my family love this place and are nice enough to bring me home some. The chicken salad tasted great. I really liked the sweets and pastries, as they are not overly sweet.

Loved our experience at the Freedom Society. Loved picking out the teacup to drink from, loved the tea options, loved the tiered trays with the food offerings. It was a very enjoyable high tea with the girls.

A little pricey, but so worth it. Tea needs a little more flavor. Presentation and atmosphere in these times are superb. The gifts sold are affordable and worth it.

This place is wonderful. I got a great hat there, all their product seems to be ethically made, and help survivors. Even their tea cups are compostable. I love it so far and I cant wait to see more!

What a gem! Best “tea date” location in FXBG. The tea and sandwiches were good and the scones and lavender cookies were off the chain! Great service by staff and it’s all for a great cause. Will be booking another tea date very soon. Atmosphere inside was serene and perfect for sipping tea and eating with a special friend or in my case, daughter. Thank you for taking such good care of us!!!

Perfect place to do shopping to treat yourself or looking for a gift for someone. Reasonable prices. Everything is made by a survivor of human trafficking and all the profits go to support child survivors. Whether you know what someone likes or dont know someone well at all, you can find a beautiful gift for anyone here. The staff is also super kind and welcoming.
