My wife daughter and I went into the store to look for a section for our new home. We spoke with the owner about our concerns of pets tearing up the furniture and he made excellent recommendations. He made the whole process very easy! This store has provided couches to most of my family member’s homes, only place we will purchase couches!

I went to Sofa Outlet in search of a sofa set for my family room. Aymen was a wonderful salesman, full of knowledge about what furniture was in-stock, which sets had a long wait time and those that could be ordered and delivered within a few days. Armed with information, I purchased a sofa, love seat and side chair for delivery with a few days. The delivery was on-time, the delivery drivers set up the furniture- which only took a few minutes, and all accessories to the sofa and love seat were delivered at that time. Approximately a week later, I received a call from the Sofa Outlet to determine if I was happy with the delivery and to ensure that I received everything and that the delivery was to my satisfaction. I will not hesitate to purchase from Sofa Outlet again.

So my husband and I bought a couch in December of 2020 from Sofa Outlet and the buying process was fantastic. The bad thing is my couch zipper broke a few months after use and since April I have not been able to use my couch fully. I sent pictures at their request to their email and heard nothing. I called and they said that the manufacturer is getting my new cushion delivered by end of August. End of august came and nothing showed up. I called and they said the manufacturer was having a hard time getting the material and it would be a bit longer. But the communication with the store is horrible. If I knew it would have been this much of a pain I would have bought my couch somewhere else. I’m hoping they fix this issue before the warranty goes bad.

Terrific prices. Ayman was very courteous and knowledgeable of our needs. Delivery was on time, and the delivery guys were very efficient and courteous. We special ordered another item. We are so pleased, we will shop with them for future purchases.

This is a great place to shop for furniture. I love the fact that you can customize the color of your furniture. Whatever you need they will work with you to make sure your satisfied. Came here six years to look for a sofa and was so happy about the service. I never once felt pressured to make a purchase, nor was I hawked the moment I walked into the building like every furniture place I had ever been to. Came in again today as my family’s first stop to get another one and got the same service. Aymen was wonderful, cut us a great deal on some awesome furniture. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for furniture, we’re a young couple getting our first apartment trying to fill it with furniture and not spend an arm and a leg.

Although I had to wait over 10 months to get my order fulfilled, Ayman was a true professional. Covid (and all the associated BS) have crippled the supply chains. This is not Sofa Outlets fault. Although I was inconvenienced I truly respect Ayman and his ability to navigate this pandemic. At the end of the day, Sofa Outlet came through. All I can say is, stay patient. You wont get better local service. Thank you Sofa Outlet.

Have bought a power-recline sofa, rocker-recliner, and two other recliners from Amin & TJ and couldnt be more satisfied with the quality of the furniture, and the customer service I have received over the years. Recently had an issue with the motor not working on a 10 year old rocker/recliner purchased there, and turned out that one of the cables connecting to the power box had a short in it, and that was the whole problem. Amin was kind enough to give me (for FREE) the cable I needed to fix the problem and save me further expense. Hes always been great to work with, and thats the main reason I have ordered another power recliner from Sofa Outlet, which I was told up front I would have to wait 3-4 months for it to arrive. Ill let you know how that turns out, but I think you cant go wrong with the combination of quality furniture and customer service at a reasonable price!

Worst. Sofa. Ever.I purchased a sectional sofa from this store four years ago. When I mentioned that I had pets, the owner advised me to get the upgraded material. It ended up being a velvety type of fabric that holds on to every single pet hair. HORRIBLE. I had another sofa with microsuede (which we know isnt really suede), but it is so simple to keep clean. This one requires EXTENSIVE vacuuming DAILY to keep it looking OK.As if that were not enough, our cushions are all sunken in. We are a home with two adults who dont spend an awful lot of time on the sofa. Im pretty sure my 15-pound cat isnt the reason all of the cushions look like a 900-pound gorilla parked himself there for a year. Butt prints! Horrible.The people in the store are very nice. I dont have a complaint about that, but the product they sell is pretty darned inferior. My La-Z-Boy sofa in my den is 17 years old and still in perfect condition. I guess I know where Ill go next time. Not the Sofa Outlet.

We were told when we purchased the sofa that it would take up to 10 weeks for delivery. I called at 7 weeks to check on the order and spoke with TJ (who was very rude and sarcastic) who said that our order would take another 6 months. I asked him who would order furniture if they knew it would take at least 6 months. He said who knows? why does the world have covid? They told us 10 weeks in order to get the sale.

We originally went to Value City Furniture for our living room set. After more than a month of delays and push-backs on the original delivery, we cancelled it and we came here to Sofa Outlet. We explained our situation and the salesman was able to tell us exactly what furniture they had on hand in the warehouse. He took us around the showroom and knew how many of what pieces they had available. We found a set we liked that they had in stock, and we took our furniture home that day! It has been extremely comfortable and we are very happy with our purchase!!!***Disclaimer: This happened two months ago (beginning of August), but I wanted to wait before posting a review to see if the furniture held up well. It has!

We purchased two love seats from Sofa Outlet almost a year ago. One of the love seats had a flaw/small hole in the fabric when it was delivered in March. We reported this damage to the store immediately & attached photos. After only 2 months, both love seats show excessive fabric wear. This was also reported to the store last spring, with photo documentation. We have visited the store to discuss the problems with the love seats. We have gotten nothing except a run around from Mr Belman. We have a complete series of broken promises. Mr, Belman promises to call us back in a couple of days with a resolution, but never does. This lack of communication and complaint non-resolution has been going on for almost a year.

My wife and I purchased a living room set from Sofa Outlet at 3708 Plank Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407 on 12/26/20. We were looking all over Fredericksburg for a business that could deliver our couches in 2 to 3 weeks. When we got to Sofa Outlet, we were assured that we could have our living room set delivered in 3 to 4 weeks. After 5 weeks we hadnt recieved a single phone call. After 6 weeks my wife and I called everyday for 6 days, leaving messages that only were answered after 12 days to respond to my wifes concerns about the furniture delays. They still have not responded to any of my voice messages that I left them. Their response to my wife was only to tell her that they were not sure when our furniture was going to be delivered. In the beginning February 2021, I went down to Sofa Outlet and talked to our sales associate that sold us the set and asked him what was going on. He told us that all orders were being delayed and that they had only 1 peice of the set we had purchased. After a brief conversation, he agreed to have that 1 peice sent to us with a loaner love seat until the rest of our set arrived. I also ask him to keep us up to date on what is going on with our furniture. At that same visit he told me that our furniture should arrive on February 15th. After February 15th, after receiving no phone call, I went back down to Sofa Outlet to see what the delay was. Our sale associate then gave me a date of March 1 2021. It is now March 7th 2021 and I still have not received the rest of our furniture or recieved any kind of phone call to give me an update on when our furniture should be arriving. The only reason I gave Sofa Outlet 1 star instead of 0 is because they gave us a loaner couch until the rest of our set came in. I am at a loss of words as to describe the lack of customer service that we have received from this company.

Thank you Arman for a great experience at sofa outlet! We have traveled through Fredericksburg from Maryland for the last 4 years. Our first stop we really liked the furniture quality and the prices and meet with Arman who made our experience even better. We have looked at many stores and never found anything we liked as much as sofa outlet. This past year we finally made our big purchase, we are very happy with our furniture and the price was right.

Looked at just about every place on RT3 for a sofa and nothing came close until I came here. The staff was extremely nice and i never felt like they were trying to push me into buying anything. I was even rather difficult in the beginning, changing my mind multuple times. It wasnt ever an issue. My couch was delivered exactly on the timeline i was given without any issues at all. Im not sure what issues these other reviewers had in terms of order wait times but i didnt have any. Maybe they expected built to order furniture to magically appear on their doorstep in a week. It simply doesnt work like that unless you pick something he already has. Over all i had a great experience and would 100% refer my friends. Ignore the other bs reviews. This place was great!

On the hunt for a good quality sofa that doesnt cost a fortune! I walked into this store after seeing 4 others in the area - including West Elm and Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn outlet. At first you are not sure what to expect because they have the lower priced items in the front .....but once I started looking I was surprised at the prices and the selection and the quality I saw! TJ was very very knowledgeable about his sofas and the options you have ......its like you can build your own sofa there! I was a textile designer for many years and know about furniture and fabric quality and furniture manufacturers ......They carry lines from the same manufacturers that make as Pottery Barn! at 40%-50% less!! Made in America too which is a plus for me and most whether you are Red or Blue! I was able to pick my sofa fabric and fabric for 2 accent pillows! The fabric selection is current and in an array of colors and textures. They have a great selection of good quality Beds much cheaper than SLEEP NUMBER!! trust me - we bought 2 sofas, and a serta adjustable bed for 40% less here.....- due to COVID the delivery dates are 3-4 months out but I was finding that mostly everywhere except the places that give you one fabrinc choice of lower quality furniture from Overseas mostly China......Definitely visit here before you overpay for your sofa and bed or recliners. If you want quality and design at a discount.....who doesnt! Ask for TJ!

Great store love our new furniture

I purchased a couch from here in April and was told that they had a chaise kit in the back at the time of purchase. Once the transaction had gone through I was then informed that they didn’t have the chaise kit in the back and it will take 4-5 weeks to get it considering the complications with the corona virus. Even though I was lied to I was completely understanding about how long the shipping was going to take. Late June rolls around and then still haven’t had any updates from them and called endlessly with no answer. Then I ended up having to physically go into the store on July 3rd and was told I will get an update on July 7th. Still haven’t gotten an update yet on the situation and it is now July 18th. Have gotten no phone calls and I’ve tried calling atleast 3 times a day and it goes straight to voice mail. Four months later and I still don’t have the Chaise kit. Extremely disappointed with this company and their customer service.

I can only speak of my experience, which was fantastic. We needed a custom lounge chair to match our sofa, with custom pillows of various patterns. And we needed it in a month, in time for a home function. The store manager spent a lot of time helping us navigate through the options, and tho he could not promise it in only a month, it arrived with days to spare. And it is EXACTLY what we wanted! We will be repeat customers!!

Worst experience ever. Amen actually came to my house with my kids there to check on newly purchased furniture that broke. He did nothing after and said he would give me 100$. I offered to take it back and would get something much better. Couldn’t believe this man did that. I had the couch for 6 months and just disposed. He is disgusting and I couldn’t believe he came to my home to just tell me he would do nothing for my family and I. It was a broken spring and he basically laughed at us.

The service when we shopped in the store was great. Helpful without pressure. When we finally decided on a couple pieces I was amazed at the selection and variety of materials to choose from. Other furniture stores in the area had sofas in one or two colors--we had over 25 swatches to choose from.The only negative aspect was the delivery timeline. We were told 30-35 days, it was 10 weeks. Not a problem for us because we didnt need it right away but an update wouldve been nice. That being said, when the furniture arrived I was extremely impressed with the quality. Equivalent furniture that we saw at other stores cost almost twice as much. The men who delivered it were very efficient and took a lot of care to make sure it wasnt damaged. Overall great experience, will be buying from them the next time I need furniture.

I ordered a couch and (as industry standards) waited 6 weeks for it to be delivered. The couch delivered was backward to what was ordered. The “owner” was less than helpful in getting the issue corrected, claiming that what I ordered was the issue, not what was delivered. 2 weeks later, I hear that they are going to order me a new (correct) couch and it will be delivered in the 6 weeks..I would have thought there were be some sort of a rush on the order since it was not my error. 8 weeks later, I hear that the factory should be receiving the fabric and the couch should be delivered about 2 weeks after that. Due to the lack of customer service and the incorrect order, I disputed the charge and 4 months after the initial purchase, the incorrect couch was picked up to be returned to the store.When speaking with an employee they were nice, but as far as getting things done or giving useful information, I recommend you go anywhere else to purchase.

I dont know where to begin on this terrible experience. The lack of professionalism is appalling. I ordered a living room set for over 1K which is a lot of money to someone who has inherited all her furniture. I wanted to invest in something new and nice. Well that back fired with this company! I received the sofa per delivery in the wrong color. I was supposed to have a recliner with it and the recliner did not come in the original delivery. I made phone calls, spoke with management and was told this was a simple mistake and they would fix it. What a joke that was. A week after the supposed recliner was going to be delivered I started to call the store because obviously I want to know where the rest of my purchase is as I had not heard from them. IGNORED. Every call, ignored. It has gotten to the point where associates hang up the phone when I explain the situation and ask for a manager. This has been a 3 month long process of me calling and going to the store to simply be told they will fix it. I highly recommend saving your sanity and money and going somewhere else. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau because this is WRONG and THEFT.

These folks are one of the best furniture companies we have dealt with...ever. We had an issue with one of our chairs we bought (manufacturer flaw) and they hung in there ALWAYS trying to resolve it.
