April K., the in-house EA designer did a fabulous job. She not only helped us choose fabrics for our sofa and chair, she also recommended paints and suggested additional design options. And, based on that, weve put down a tile floor, made the suggested changes, and added a new stone wall by the fireplace. It looks MUCH better.

Ordered living room furniture. From the moment we entered the store in Viriginia the salesperson was amazing. She worked well with us and and another family, giving us enough information on the models, tapestry and price and allowing ample time to make a decision. She was not pushy but was available. We ordered a sofa and two chairs and she helped with the combination of tapestry colors and texture.Delivery was prompt and well done!.

Holly is one of the best! A master at her craft. She listens to what is important to the customer and then creates a masterful design which has left me breathless for each project venture shared. When you think of Ethan Allen furniture, beauty and quality comes to mind and ours did not disappoint. Our furniture arrived earlier than expected and in pristine condition. I would recommend taking advantage of the in home design. There was no pressure and our designers presentation was beyond our expectations. Matthew is professional and knowledgeable about the products. He took into account where and how the furniture would be used, choosing the most compatible fabrics. I dont often write reviews, but the service I received from Holly was so exceptional that I was compelled to let others know about her. I purchased an Ethan Allen bedroom set in 2004 at a different location. Multiple moves, pets, and life in general had taken a toll on a couple of the pieces. I decided to have the set completely refinished to use in the guest room of my new home. Hinges were rusted, hardware was broken, and without some spare parts my hope of giving new life to this old set was not going to happen. That is where Holly came in. She helped me identify the parts I needed even though the set was discontinued many years ago. She worked with various departments and warehouses at Ethan Allen and obtained everything that I needed! The set is now restored and beautiful again! Holly did not try to talk me into buying new furniture that I couldnt afford. Instead, she put in a lot of time and effort just to provide the best possible service to a past Ethan Allen customer. This is a company that stands behind their products and Holly is a salesperson that you can count on! If you need furniture, check out the Ethan Allen at Central Park and ask for Holly. Matthew Cole provided us with excellent design advice when we purchased a sofa from Ethan Allen. He visited our home, observed our tastes, and guided us through the decision process. Mathew showed us fabrics for pillows and a reupholstering project that tied everything together. The process was easy and he is a delight to work with. Matthew has a great sense of style and can speak easily on the principles of design, explaining why something would work or not. I look forward to working with him again.

Matthew helped us find furniture for our living room and family room. Not only is he quite gifted at design, he is also a really good listener. He listened to us describe our personal tastes, and put together a beautiful design. He helped us find furniture, put the colors and textures together, and much more. We had the opportunity to work with Matthew Cole in Nov/Dec 2018 in addressing a family room re-design which was complicated by high traffic flow, multiple doorways/windows and dominated by a large fireplace. Matthew and his colleagues were knowledgeable, cooperative and conscious of budget. They did an excellent job of integrating items in the room we wanted to keep while making common sense selections which gave the room a much needed upgrade with quality and elegant furnishings without sacrificing a casual lived in character. His eye for what works and what would not based upon his knowledge of design and our personal preferences was invaluable. 5 stars.

If you were to ask anyone three years ago if I was a “home” person, the resounding answer would be “NO!”. I loved my home, but it was neglected and needed some TLC.Matt, from Ethan Allen, took it as a personal challenge to help me provide that TLC and put it into my house. He started at the beginning, building a design/vision for my space. He took into account several factors (existing furniture, budget, my hobbies), listened to me and then proceeded to create something fantastic.Matt started me off with some of his favorite paint colors that were both soothing and made transitions to an adjoining room seamless. Then, he moved onto items that made my home feel warm and inviting. He selected a fun, funky desk for me; a bold, stunning entertainment console and adjoining bookcases; functional, yet beautiful chairs and rugs. Matt also chose key art pieces to adorn my walls, including wonderful Ethan Allen prints of Paris. Matt was able to create cohesive themes in the house that tell a story about me and are welcoming to guests.A friend recently stopped by and sat in my newly designed sitting room. As we were talking and catching up, he mentioned the following “...It’s really good to see all the changes you’ve made to your home. It feels very cozy and it’s a pleasure to spend time in this environ. Good job!”.But the credit does not reside with me, but with Matt. Matt was the catalyst that launched a revitalization of my home and my surroundings. He is truly a master at bringing varied elements together in harmony. Matt is an amazing designer and one that I plan on using now and in the future!! Many thanks to Matt and Ethan Allen!

Holly is incredible!!! She helped pull together my kitchen, and our renovation for basement. The house looks like it belongs in a magazine thanks to her. She is so wonderful to work with!

So our initial experience was fabulous. Great customer service. Excellent selection of American made furniture. We made our purchases and would offer 5 stars. Then there was an issue with outer dining table. The finish was flaking off. Still 5 stars since stuff does happen. We called and left messages with Ethan Allen and nothing. After three attempts I kept calling until I got someone on the phone. Explained the situation, three weeks later I called back to inquire and the manager did nothing with our issue. Finally found someone competent (Robin). About 5-6 weeks later a replacement top was to be delivered. Received a call stating they were ten minutes out. An hour later, still waiting. Had to call back. Long story short, I wasted way too much of my time trying work with them (hours). This is not the same store as yesteryear. We will not spend out money here again which is a shame because they have nice stuff, but their customer service is terrible.So an update... The replacement table was delivered and the finish was unacceptable. Call the store and sales was more eager to sell me stuff, have yet to hear back from customer service. Very disappointed. I would love to drop them a star for this, but if there was not an issue with their furniture, wed be extremely happy (4+ stars).

Obviously super pricey.The sales woman was incredibly knowledgeable and delivery was good. They were very careful.Some screws were missing that they were supposed to call us to deliver OR mail to us, but we never received them. So, parts still missing.

Online purchase of a sofa and table, and it was amazingly easy. We had seen the couch in and EA store years ago and loved it, and the capiz table was perfect for our Florida home. The delivery and set up process was very easy and accomplished glitch-free, and Camala Parsons coordinated, advised and executed all with professional dispatch. A great buying experience!

Very proffesional, excellent customer service. Special programs for the trade. Everyone helps each other. Clean showroom. One drawback, when purchasing a pad for an area rug, it is shipped direct, therefore they do not cut the pad to fit the rug. You have to do it yourself. Other than that... an A+

During our move from California to Virginia about two years ago, my husband and I wandered into the Fredericksburg EA shop simply to make inquiries, which visit led to our meeting with Megan Vogel and her colleagues. Less than one year later, with the extraordinary competence and skill of Megan to thank for this result, my husband and I live in a beautiful and comfortable home that suits us perfectly. She was able to help us figure out how our favorite old furniture could work best in our new home, and she made suggestions about window treatments and rugs and new pieces of furniture that made all of the rooms in our new home come alive in the ways we wanted them to.

My wife and I were finishing off a basement space and needed a suite of furniture including a sectional, ottoman, recliners and a side table. The designers at the Fredericksburg Virginia store helped us out in choosing the right compliments of fabrics and colors . The quality seems very high with the sofa and table made in the U.S. and the ottoman in Mexico(high quality) and the time frame in which they were delivered was inline with finishing off the basement. The delivery crew were very, very professional and very prompt, arriving at the beginning of their time frame. They called before they arrived, carefully handled the pieces and cleaned up the shipping packaging before leaving........couldnt ask for more.

Excellent service and we received a beautiful sofa of the highest quality 30 days earlier than promised. We are very happy!

We have been so happy working with Matthew Cole at Ethan Allen! Last year we were looking to make our front living room elegant but inviting so that our guests could feel comfortable as they congregated in our more formal sitting room. We have a grand piano which is our main focal point, and Matthew helped us design around it. We have a smoky velvet sofa with a Triptych Yacht print hanging above. Matthew helped us choose a Surveyor’s lamp to compliment the print and the Jocelyn glass side table to add glamour to our room. Our colors are dark blues and grays so he selected silk charcoal drapes and helped us with rug suggestions. He also picked out a bronze accent table that sits between our 2 sitting chairs.Matthew always shows me pieces that I wouldn’t have thought of. He is able to broaden my horizons and I have been 100% happy with everything we have purchased from Ethan Allen based on his suggestions and the quality of the pieces. Most recently, we purchased the Corin Rough Sawn Trestle table along with Cyra side chairs, which all arrived just in time for our annual New Year’s Eve party! Having been to our house, Matthew knew our colors and the layout. He picked out the fabric for our chairs and suggested the exquisite Brandt Buffet which will arrive soon. He is in the process of helping us choose a rug and accents to complete our dining room.We have been so pleased with the service of the sales associates, namely Matthew, Robin, and Holly, and thrilled with the look of our pieces. The delivery of our furniture was timely and the delivery personnel were very professional and handled our furniture with care. It was exciting to know that most of our pieces were made to order and that each piece can be passed down to our children. Everything that we have purchased from Ethan Allen is quality and will withstand the test of time. In our opinion, it is the finest furniture store that we have purchased from and we will continue to shop here first for our future needs.
