Hands down the best automotive shop in Fredericksburg

I was ripped off by the mechanic for a brake job on the front driver side brakes. I was charged $375 for the parts, including rotor, caliper, brake hose and pads, plus labor charge of $180. I was taken advantage because I drove in with my brake grinding together. This is twice the amount what another mechanic would have charged me.

My family and I were traveling and had some noise in the front suspension of our vehicle. Luckily, we had stopped in Fredericksburg for gas and found this shop. Got here first thing Monday morning and Kenny began assessing our car and got to work on it right away. Within a few hours, we were back on the road. He was very honest and affordable. I would recommend him to others.

Bill is really honest and his prices are always much better than the competition. All of my downtown neighbors go to him. All smile when his name is mentioned or when they are relating their recent experience with him. He has done a lot of complicated work on my cars. He has also checked my cars over free of charge. He is 80 years old and is old school in his approach so dont rush him. Your car will not be returned to you right away because he is busy and only has two bays. It doesnt bother any of us because we just accept that as fact when we do business with him. He has very competent middle-aged mechanics working for him. One has been there for a very, very long time. Having only two bays means that Bill and his mechanics are not stretched too thin and are not rushing around from one car to the next.Its actually a pleasure when your car breaks down and you get to go and visit with a Bill. Im dead serious.
