Lee was very quick and efficient. He was very knowledgeable and fixed my dryer. It didnt take long at all. Would definitely call him again! From, Ramona Pierson.
We had an excellent experience with Amy from D&S Appliance Service Inc today. We received an automated call to let us know the serive technican was on her way and Amy arrived within the specified time. Amy was very professional and efficient. She clearly knows the whirpool product and was able to fix our dishwasher within this one visit. Amy also had some helpful tips about how to avoid future issues. Thanks for your help!
We had scheduled an appointment to fix our freezer through Whirlpool for a specific date and time. 3 hours later we received a phone call from Vanessa at D & S Appliance Service Inc in Franklin saying that they needed to change our appointment 3 weeks later from the original scheduled date. When we pushed for an explanation and told her that 3 weeks out doesn’t work for us, she said “fine” and hung up on us. A call back revealed that she canceled the service request/order. I asked to be transferred to the office manager, Mike, he told me that Vanessa didn’t like our tone of questioning, and then hung up on me.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY - EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
I purchased a complete Kitchen of Kitchen Aide appliances because it was believe that they would have reputable repair services if ever needed. I had always held Whirlpool in high regard. My option has totally changed and will never purchase another Whirlpool applicable again.I was sadly mistaken about them if they use these people for service they do not care about their customers or their reputation. I called in early November with an issue with the microwave and refrigerator. After several conversations with Vanessa who was rude and could have cared less I finally got an appointment. She wanted to argue with me about a purchase date even with the original receipt in front of her.It took over two weeks for an appointment. The light on the microwave was not working. The technician who was very nice said he needed to order a part and would return in a week. It is very difficult to cook without a light under the microwave. I finally got an appointment three weeks later after a huge issue because they wanted to wait for the refrigerator part. The day before I got a call saying the technician was out sick and they wanted to schedule for three weeks from them. I told her I needed it fixed prior to Christmas they arrived two days prior to Christmas. They knew the microwave was blowing light bulbs. They show up with no bulb. Problem finally resolved after almost two months. The Refrigerator handle that was addressed at the first appointment still has not been fixed as of today 1/18. They called today to schedule the repair another three weeks away so almost three months to replace a part. The excuse today was surprise someone was out sick.I have never had an issue like this in my life. I purchased over $6000.00 in Kitchen Aid applicable and am being treated like this.I have lost all respect for the manufacture. Now supposedly the technician is coming out On 2/3. We will see both time before we had a time slot and they came at a totally different time. There is no need for a response. Your time will be much better spent fixing your issues and servicing your customers.I expect to see the tech between 8-12 on 2/3 and please have someone other than rude Vanessa call to confirm.
They make me wait for 3 weeks.to get someone to come checkout my Refrigerator, then he says he needs to.order a part, the part comes in 2 days later and they call me to tell me that the part is in but they do not have a slot until 2 weeks later. Is this a joke? And oh it costs me 500. I have to pay 500 and wait for 6 weeks to.get it repaired. Go with Belchers in framingham.
These people pretty much stole my money. I had a tech come out to look at my stove on 12/15/20. The control panel was broken due to a power surge. He took about 15min to complete the diagnostics. I paid for the parts and labor ahead of time which was $516. I called for 3 months asking when the part would be in. Same story every time, its on backorder and will be in next week. On 3/10/21 I asked to be refunded my money and I would pay for the trip and diagnostics. They only gave me back $209. I was told there was a restocking fee of 30% for a part that was NEVER even shipped from the factory. I was also told that the labor that was NEVER completed would not be refunded. This company took over $300 from me for a service that was never completed. I am currently looking into small claims court.
They deserve -0 stars. Have had problems with brand new washer from day 1. They have come out some many times I can’t even count. They had parts again to repair washer. I told them dealing with health issues would call to schedule appt. finally called to make appt. somehow they no longer have my parts, and gave closed my case. ReallyDo not deal with them, the whole staff there including the manager are unprofessional and just rude. That is why they have such bad reputationDo not deal with them u will have nothing but headaches and inconvenience in ur life
Poor customer service from customer service rep jamie and even the manager nancy, refused to be understanding and empathize with my dilemma, poor explanation of procedure and in the end due to unprofessionalism, refused to help and was very agressive about it also, dont understand how they are still In business. I have the recorded conversation for those who want to hear to know the truth ! Look at all the recent reviews with unhappy customers, should have known better !
Scheduled a service call online through KitchenAid for Tuesday. I received a call Monday afternoon saying that they could not take the appointment until the following Monday. 8 days out for a warranty repair is VERY frustrating. They are still showing with KitchenAid that they are taking Wednesday appointments, even though this is not the case. Like I said, the scheduling is VERY frustrating.
If i can give no star i would but the star would go to the technician very professional and gentleman. But they tell you a price and after fixing they ask for more, i dont want to write details,i paid $60 more than what i was told .Hello there, i just saw your professional reply and how your customers recite your list of prices in their sleep!I didnt want to go in details but since you couldnt call and clear personally i would write it here .When i calld she said just for technician to come to her door is 169 dollars and 50 dollars for fixing and labor, and i asked clearly if that would be all and the reply was yes, so i called my mom and went back to her and confirmed. And we had to reschedule because of health reason and i thank them fir there flexibility. It was all excellent till i called and explained what she said, she replied Ill tell you what we tell customers, and she said it in a way that you dont give details, so i asked her how did i know about the 50 dolla and the other and added them ? ..she said well now our prices are different and we are charging 220 dollars for the technician just to come to your door .i said you changed them since i made the appointment? We are not applying them to you she replied (as if shes giving me brake and doing me favor ) .its not becase i didnt hear her saying parts will be charged extra .I know that .and if the call is recorded you can go ahead and hear the conversation. If i knew it will cost me 271 dollars( and it was simple fix of the door latch and i looked up the part its $35 ) i wouldve shopped for new dishwasher. And if you read what Ive wrote about the technician you wouldve known that i didnt say he was bad, but no discount of any kind was applied when he left or when i hung up with your customer service and she repeated the total again saying it come up to $271 i even replied but its not coming down and she said NO.So please ..instead talk to your staff to be clear with what they say and stick to it, and instead of writing back you couldve called and solved the problem more professionally and i wouldve changed my review to a better one explaining how professionall it was handled. And by the way its not the price i want ..its what your customer service told me on the phone, and i dont have hearing problem, i said you didnt tell me this part that she added on when she was arguing about the price .Give my regards to your professional technician and thank him for the senior citizen discount (your customer service new shes and elderly ) .Thank you anyway .im not expecting a reply and if you do it here this is the way it has happened and im not going to write more .Have a good night .
Amending my review. Although I wish they could have understood our frustration with the manufacturer they got our problem fixed. I appreciate that and their tech was very courteous, helpful, and professional
We had Ken as our technician. He was prompt, professional and did a great job with our fridge. Not sure why the bed reviews but they came twice over the warranty of our fridge. They called, had email confirmation of the appointment and the technician was great, overall a very good experience.
Terrible, first off i got an appointment from whirlpool for jan 1st then do appliance called and said they couldn’t be here for that. then yesterday i get confirmation of the service ‘technician’ coming today so i take the day off. now i get a call and they say they can’t come until the 19th. this company is not reliable. btw this is for a 6 month old appliance. LOOK ELSEWHERE.
Trying to get my dryer fixed....still.. I bought it from lowes it stopped working so through the whirlpool site they had me schedule with this company. I was able to schedule next day service online and then the company called me and said actually no they arent available so had to wait a week to the 19th. Then on the 18th they called and said they pre diagnosis and had to order the part they think it is so they would come out on Friday 11/27. So here I am Saturday AM, no one showed, no one called and my brand new dryer is still broken. I called the company and the very unpleasant on call women informed me she would send a message but they dont do weekend jobs and its not part of her protocol ...whats the point of having and on call number then???? I have reached out to whirlpool as well.. I am beyond furious. Very poor customer service.
Had an appointment to have my 1 year old stove fixed on November 19th that I had waited a week for. ( I called for warranty repair on the 12th) The day of the appointment D & S called to say they have only one person who works the area and he is out. They won’t be able to come till Dec 3!!!! That’s 3 weeks without a stove, no stove on the holiday and here it is the day before and there has been no confirmation that they will show up this time. I called someone who actually came and fixed the problem. I will never use D&S for anything!I had a warrantee with Asurian through Home Depot! They didn’t find anyone else either. I could have almost paid for a new stove by now.
The technicians were professional and friendly and knowledgeable. They arrived when said they would. Fixed my problem promptly on my new dryer. Customer service was great. Thank you so much for your help and professionalism. I would recommend your services to anyone I know needing them.
Discovered gas leak on 3 yr old Kitchen Aid cooktop with extended warrantee. Kitchen Aid/Whirlpool agreed to have D&S Appliance repair. After 1 month waiting for parts, D &S came out to repair. Tech lacked tape to re-attach vent duct after repairing, left with 5 control knob bezos not properly affixed and the fan control shaft out of alignment. I took pictures. Called D&S owner who arranged to have 5 Bezos mailed to me and advised that placement of Bezos will likely eliminate illusion of being out of line with other controls. Took control knobs off and measured--no way new bezos will solve. Did not even open package. Attempted 5 calls to Sam. Finally had customer service give me Text number to send picture. The next day Sam left message claiming I had to bend shaft installing Bezos and quoted charges for them to come out to repair. I called D&S back, told their Customer Service rep I wanted to talk with Sam (conveniently on the phone again). This time he called me back and denied I had ever advised him of the fan control knob issue and that I must have bent when installing the Bezos. Ive got pictures to prove and notes of every call to document. Whirlpool is now sending out another repair firm to complete the repair.
My Dryer recently stopped working so I called the manufacturer and they sent out D&S to repair my dryer. The tech Angel was fantastic and found the issue right away and repaired the issue very quickly and now the dryer is running like new again. Huge thank you to Angel and D&S for such great service on both the customer service side and repair.
We have been working with Lee for several months now and he has been very helpful and professional! We are lucky to have him onsite with us helping us fix our washers. Big thank you to him from the River House management!
First class service!!! A great business to work with on our washer repair, they gave us the labor cost upfront at scheduling and the repair team was professional and highly experienced replacing several old worn parts, very reasonable and efficient - from scheduling to completion within a couple days. The old washer runs like new and I will definitely use them again!
We had our Maytag washer for barely 2 years and had some issues with it. Angel came by and did diagnostics on it. He found problems and it was determined additional parts were needed to fix the problem. I want to thank Angel for not giving up on the problem and seeing the issue through to the end! It seems nowadays it is easier to get a new appliance instead of fixing an older one which is why I appreciate his attention to detail. Because of his knowledge and hard work the washer has worked flawlessly since his last visit.
Aimee is the best technician in the world. D&D has great follow through and follow up and Aimee knows appliances and is very good at communicating and all with a very positive attitude. Ana, Kim, and Nancy were very helpful, but Aimee should have her pay doubled because she is that good. I am a realtor and saved her card to help clients that have issues with appliances.
Had an appointment window of 12-4. Confirmation call at 10 of 4. No show. Took the day off of work for nothing.
Absolutely the worst customer service Ive ever experienced! Upon arrival the service professional looked at my broken fridge. He then asked if I could remove everything out of the freezer which was not broken. He then went out to his truck, he came back in and asked to use my bathroom. He proceeded to walk in and out of my home at least 5x to check his truck for the part. He then tells me as all my stuff is thawing out, he doesnt have the part! He then tells me hell have to come back tomorrow maybe. I told him thats unexceptionable, I have a four year old and weve been with out a fridge since Sunday. He told me theres nothing he can do. I called my landlord while he was still there, she told me to ask if they can be back today and if not will they reimburse me for the food that thawed out. He laughed while relating the message to the office and said Im done here then walked out. I cant believe that a company could have people working for them with absolutely no compassion!
Aimee, the technician that came to my house was wonderful! She was very professional, efficient, and polite. I was pleased with the quality of service and most impressed when she put on shoe covers upon entering my home. This in my opinion shows great respect for the customer. I would certainly recommend D & S Appliance Service.
Anytime Ive been in contact with D&S, its been a pleasant experience. Heres hoping we dont need them again, but heres hoping they are there if we do. So frustrating trying to find people you can trust.
I really give this no stars for customer service, but could not post without electing something. Was told that my dishwasher was out of warranty, sent the proof of purchase to the e-mail that was provided and confirmed it was correct address, Nance said they did not get it because her e-mail is in her face all the time, I had no indication that it was not delivered. The tech never showed up so I admit, I was upset that my husband had to wait around all afternoon to find out they took us off the schedule without a courtesy call, which their response was, that was their policy. Certainly the customer DOES NOT matter to Nance, who after not liking how I felt, said she did not want my business and hung up on me. This is not good customer service and if ever asked, I will provide my honest opinion about this company.
If you want great service, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Even though the technician knew what needed to be replaced, they didnt order the part until after I waited a week for them to show up. Then they ordered the wrong parts, which got scheduled for repair another week later. Now I wait for the right part, and rude people to schedule a 10 minute service, so no dryer for a family of 4 for a month now.
Very rarely do I complete reviews but I was incredibly impressed with this company and their service commitment. Our Whirlpool dishwasher recently broke down and they send D&S out to fix it. Now let me say, my friend recently had her washing machine break down and the maker sent people to fix it as well (not D&S). Let me tell you, they were polar opposites. I was worried based on her experience that we were going to get a company not as invested in the repair because they werent collecting money from us directly. Not the case. I had someone call me the same day I put the call into Whirlpool stating that they received the ticket and what openings they had. It made more sense, since it seemed mechanical, that they should order the part before they came which I found helpful as we have had other circumstances where the company will not look at the service order at all but just come, look at the problem and then leave and have to come back again because they shouldve ordered the parts to being with! D&S actually did what most companies fail to do, which is just put a little time into their customers needs. We also recently had our drying fixed (not by D&S) and it was one of the worst experiences, they didnt listen to what we said needed fixed, didnt communicate about when they were going to charge me, didnt communicate the time that they would show up (I had to call them 4 times to see if they were still going to show up), and they werent very nice at all. Mind you, that company touted themselves as same day service but it took them a week and a half to fix. Again, D&S was the exact opposite. I received follow up calls, emails confirmations, automated phone confirmations, personal phone call for my parts order, a phone call when the tech was leaving his previous job and coming to my house and they automatically emailed me a PDF copy of my receipt (I didnt have to ask). I have read past reviews and it seems as though at some point there was a communication issue. D&S has seemed to really take it to heart and fixed their business model to effectively communicate with their customers. I see some people have an issue with the flat rate charge for service. Let me tell you, when our dryer was broken and we called multiple appliance places, thats the way they all do it. Its not some random thing D&S does. Just wanted to clear up a few misconceptions. Again, my experience with D&S and their technician Nick was beyond what I expected and I was really pleased with their communication and service. Hopefully nothing breaks down in my house too soon, but if it does, I am going to stick with D&S.
I would like to recognize d & s appliance at this time....with this company you never have the fear of your appliance going down anymore with the techs they have. Ive never met more knowledgeable techs than these guys right at your doorstep. And let me tell you one is just as better than the other. Ive had the experience to have d & s make multiple service calls to my home and have had the pleasure of having Nate and Brett make the service calls. Both of them are very courteous and professional in there trade. They have both kept me posted with a phone call if they werent going to make the time window and when they get here they always have a good attitude It just makes me feel real comfortable having them in my home. Just this past week i had to get service done to my washer and apparently it needed another part and couldnt get completed at that time until they ordered the part.....Brett the tech says to me he hates when he cant finish a job especially when its for nice people..That made me feel really good for him to say that....This is not just your average appliance service company. This is professionalism at its best. I would highly recommend d & s appliance.
As the response suggests below, one of the owners did contact me to apologize and offer to order the needed parts and repair at no charge ... with a different technician. It was nice to see how responsive the company was to a complaint and working to turn this bad experience into a good one. I will post again once complete.Just want to finalize review. The service tech (yes, a different one) arrived today. He was prompt, friendly and did a great job repairing the dishwasher. Again, I was pleased to see D&S step up to the plate and make this right. Nice job guys. I will call again should the need arise.*****D&S was referred to us from KitchenAid. The service tech was very rude and condescending. We had just bought the condo where the expensive ($1800) 2 year old dishwasher was installed. The problem was that we found it leaked after a few minutes when we ran the dishwasher. The tech said that he could see some mouse droppings so obviously we had a mouse problem. He could order the motor as he thought that might be the problem, but we could very well have extensive damage due to the mouse problem. He also suggested that perhaps the pipes froze because we had just moved in, the previous owners obviously didnt live there for quite some time due to the mouse problem. The previous owners moved out two days before we moved in and the heat was set to 65. There was no sign of mice anywhere and no mouse droppings in site. We generally would not have taken the front off the dishwasher to clean it. Those droppings could quite easily have been there since the condo was built. No signs anywhere else of droppings. He said if I wanted to haul it out from under the counter, he would replace the motor, but if that wasnt the problem, we still had to pay for it.When I questioned him about me hauling out the dishwasher, he said he wasnt about to do it as we could have all kinds of diseases due to the mouse problem. He suggested we just go buy another one. I reminded him that this was an expensive until. He suggested that I just to go Lowes and buy one for $300. Really ? All the appliance are high end, Im not about to put in a cheap model.Sorry, will NEVER do business with this company again and will tell everyone of my experiences.
Im in their town. Only a couple miles away. They wanted to charge me $170 just to come take a look at the dryer. That seems high to me. No thanks. I ordered a belt and fixed it myself.
My washing machine stopped working and since it was still under warranty, I scheduled a service appointment through Whirlpool which did it through D&S (so I really had no other choice). I dont know about everyone else that left a negative review but according to my son who was present during the service call, the experience was very positive. The technician that came was Aimee and she was extremely informative, professional, and courteous. Since it was apparently only a minor problem that she had to fix, the service was done in about 20 minutes or so. If you need service from them, try to request Aimee (if they would actually allow it). Hopefully the company has other employees just like her.
They take your money order parts and they charge you for 30% restocking fee if they can’t do the job.
Spot on! Our washer was showing an error code, D & S diagnosed it immediately and came to fix it the very next day. Our technician was on time, in an out in 30 mins and even wore booties over his shoes when he came in! We were back to doing laundry in no time. Highly recommend! Thanks D & S.
EXCELLENT SERVICE TECH WAS GREAT IN AND OUT
Our two year old Kitchen Aid refrigerator began making a horrible and disruptive noise. Luckily we bought the extended warranty for our appliances. D & S was assigned to us by the warranty office and I am so glad they were. They were extremely courteous and went out of their way to keep us apprised of the status of our repair from their initial arrival to the ordering of our parts to their scheduled repair appointment. The technician was here for 3 1/2 hours and repaired our refrigerator. The noise is gone! He was very personable as well as neat and thorough. Thank youD & S for such great service!
What kind of person comes to fix a gas leak and does not bring a gas leak detector???!!!!? The stove STILL smells, but he said his nose worked just as well as a gas leak detector! Un-freaking-believable! Now I have to spend $100 on a professional gas leak detector to check the stove because he couldnt bother to bring his (we were told by the propane company it was a very minor leak, so we need something to detect even the smallest particles) and possibly have a different company come out to finish the job that they couldnt be bothered to finish! By the time we’re done, it would have been cheaper to just buy a brand new gas stove and have that installed! Just seriously - how hard would it have been to bring a gas leak detector when the reason you were called out was to fix a damn gas leak!
Wow, I dont usually go with the negative reviews as people have individual experiences and decided to give them a chance. Just called and the person answering the phones was extremely rude and cut me off. People already have an extreme anxiety of costly repairs coupled with other life commitments such as mortgage payments, car loans etc. To have your front line person who is the face of your organization treating people that way? No way, bad eggs, stay away. Now watch they will have some monotone response like they did to the other negative reviews stating that customer service is their highest priority and that they want to make it right, blah, blah, blah. The pattern speaks for itself.
Amiee replaced a torn gasket on my recently purchased Kitchen Aid product. I was very pleased with the service. Job was done quickly and service reminders were efficient. I would us D&S again for service on any of my major appliances.
D&S office called within 2 minutes after I hung up with Whirpool to discuss my problem and confirm appointment; they then communicated several times with me over the following week via phone messages and emails to confirm the appointment and to keep me up to date on estimated arrival time of technician on the date of service.Chris showed up on time and was extremely professional and polite and best of all, of course, extremely knowledgeable about my Cabrio washing machine and its digital operation. Gave me helpful information and tips about successful maintenance and operation of it.Highly recommended!
I was pleased with our technician, Aimee, but I am extremely frustrated with this company. I called after the service to my refrigerator- which cost about $350 and did not resolve the issue and was told since it was over 30 days that I would have to re open the service ticket. This is nowhere posted on the invoice. And while the freezer door no longer leaks it is also not possible to fully open the door. We were told this was fixable and paid said $350 the first time and nownare told we need an entire new door--essentially spending money that did nothing! And now I am being told to contact the refrigerator manufacturer - horrible service. I will express this to kitchen aid as well
Check out all their negative reviews on Yelp and the ones below. I am skeptical that the good reviews below are legit (read them and you be the judge):Ill add to the many negative reviews. The issue is that they make it sound like you will pay $169.99 plus parts to fix your appliance. They get there, say sorry we cant fix this, and you are out $169.00 for them to come there for 15 minutes and tell you that. When you complain, they blame you, the customer, and tell you that you should have known thats how it works.Nice way to make money.
D & S was the closes authorized repair center that Bosch would send. They were able to schedule me in a very reasonable time frame. The repair person came exactly on time each visit. He was very knowledgable, well groomed and polite. The customer service was also very helpful and knowledgable. I am extremely please with D&S repair and have already called them back to service another appliance in my home. I highly recommend them.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We recently moved into a new home. The center burner on our stove was not working, and the broiler in the oven was not working. The tech came out. Wiped down the holes where the gas comes out and said it was fixed. They charged us $250. Next time I tried to use either they did not work. When I called to ask them to come back and look at it I was told it would cost another $175 to send someone out! TERRIBLE COMPANY HAPPY TO STEAL YOUR MONEY.
We called D & S for a dishwasher repair. The technician that came out today was extraordinarily rude, complained the entire time, and clearly had no idea what he was doing. He commented that our (3 year-old) dishwasher was very old. He told us that it was $159 for the service call and because he had neglected to bring the correct part, we would be charged $159 again when he came back in addition to the repair fee. Worst service experience of our lives, hands down. Needless to say we did not proceed with the repair and will never call this company again for any reason. Next stop, Better Business Bureau.
Aimee came to the house to repair a dishwasher. She arrived exactly on-time, explained the problem and quickly resolved it. She could not have been more pleasant, professional or efficient. I would recommend D&S and Aimee without hesitation.
D & S provided service under my Whirlpool washer warranty. The repair required two visits and both times the worker arrived within the allotted time, wore shoe covers, and provided prompt, courteous service. My only suggestion for improvement would be to provide Saturday hours for repairs.
The repair guys did a great job with my Refrigerator. They arrived exactly on time and finished the job well. Highly recommended.
I was able to get an appointment quickly and service was done proffessionaly. Thank you! The people on the phone were also very nice.
Worst experience ..... Warranty company sent D&S to service my microwave back in Feb. Tech had to come back three time ... once to replace door and then after shearing off the screw then again to order and get the special screw. Mind you the issue was the control panel but opted to replace entire door. Fast forward to Nov. Control panel dies again. New Tech says door need to be replaced then report that it was due to consumer abuse (claim was denied) when it actually was the incompetent first repair. Customer Service was horrible, not willing to address the issue of inaccurate diagnosis. Will never do business with this company again!! If you use them video everything because whatever they screw up they will blame you for it
This is NOT a company I would ever deal with again. We had a problem with out Whirlpool dishwasher, so, called for service. Whirlpool confirmed coverage and dispatched D&S to fix the problem. Whirlpool scheduled service for the next day, but, I received a call the following day by a technician that said he needed to order parts for our repair. So, they rescheduled and push back the appointment. They finally arrived and said the product was out of warranty and told me it was a COD call for $169.99 - the minimum amount for him to even come out to see the problem. He implied I needed to pay him this amount despite Whirlpool saying this was covered.Fast forward two days... Called Whirlpool and they said it was ALL covered. But, they refused to service the appliance because they said you refused to pay for the initial visit. I asked for the owners name to understand where the miscommunication was, but the receptionist hung-up on me.0/4 stars. Awful customer service. Call somewhere else.
Unable to properly diagnose my refrigerators issue. Incorrect parts ordered and then when proper parts were ordered they were found to be faulty upon incoming inspection. Instead of reordering, D&S cheaped out and attempted to fix without the needed parts. Going on 3 weeks without a working refrigerator, now a 2nd service person coming out to re-diagnose. No end in sight for when this will be resolved. Go elsewhere!!
After confirming my appointment multiple times tech never showed. Stay away from thus place if you want reliable and professional service.
THAT IS A MINUS STAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I just had a terrible experience with Dan who came into my home. First off without a second thought, stepped onto my carpet with his outdoor shoes and when I asked that they be removed he flatly said no because the law requires he wear his steel toed shoes but then offered to cover them with booties. Me feeling foolish and a little bit bullied at that point said oh never mind they dont appear to be leaving any marks and then I led him to my washer machine. Within a 2 minute span he added enough water to agitate the machine, wiggled the agitator with his hand and announce that the transmission is going and there is nothing to be done. Thatll be $101.53! We had never discussed a service call price and I expected something but that cost was outrageous. He was here less than 10 minutes in total. When I startled from the amount he asked if I was 65 and I replied 62, does that make a difference but apparently not. I feel like I was just robbed especially since his company is only a 10 minute drive away from where I live. Then adding insult to injury he refused to take my chegue so while I was upstairs getting my credit card he must have had something bad in his tummy that was trying to get out. I almost fell over from the smell in my kitchen when I returned. Had to air out with open doors, air freshener and fans after he left. I was more than cordial to this man and I felt insulted, fouly assaulted and financially violated. I wish I could give minus stars...If you would like to do the right thing Dan and return at least $30 of my money I would be more than happy to rewrite my comment. Regards Nicole at 599-4273
They where polite, neat and on time. Did exactly what they said they would do and explained exactly what was wrong. Would recommend them !!
Where do I start? Called to reschedule service and the CSR nearly bit my head off. It caught me off guard because youre not expecting someone to be that rude. As far as the service technician, absolutely miserable. I would NEVER recommend this company.
Never showed for scheduled appointment, after taking a half day off from work called and the secretary made it seem like it was my fault, last I checked when you are given a 8:00am - 12:00pm appointment that is when they would arrive. All it would have taken was a phone call during that time saying they were running behind or needed to reschedule. They then wanted to reschedule and give another window for them to come. They were very unprofessional on the phone and I asked to speak to the owner, he was at lunch and never called back. Definately not a business high on customer service. Beware, stay away!
This has been the worst experience! We are going on 2 months now trying to get our fridge fixed. They make appointments that they dont show up to. When you call to find out why they blame you!? They have been out 3 times now and every time its something different that needs to be fixed. Never use this company unless you want to wait around for someone who will never show and when they do they dont fix anything!!!
Came on time (the first time) Dryer worked for one hour and then did not work again. Were supposed to come out the next day, never showed. Left me off the schedule is what I was told. Of couse, they cashed my check though! Never use this place! Awful business and dont fix was needs fixed.
D&S appliance service came out to fix our Washer through the Lowes warranty service. The washer was taking a long time to clean and had trouble spinning up the spin cycle. Things started off ok, they came out looked at the washer and ordered a new drum, basket and shocks. When the parts came in, they came out and replace all of these parts. While fixing the washer they managed to scratch our brand new hardwood flooring and the washer is now slowly leaking. They came out again to blame the hoses (which they installed after the replacement) and then later on they blamed the design of our brand new house on the leak. They declined to come out again to fix the leaks and claimed Lowes was not letting them. (I think they did not want to come out because it was a 70 minute drive to get to our house)Lowes then reached out to them about the scratched floors and their insurance denied our claim as they stated that D&S used a protective blanked and there was no way they scratch our flooring - another lie as we even had a conversation with them about the scratches which they wanted to fix with a floor polish. So overall, very incompetent company, with very rude employees. My washer is now worse than it was before and I will be out $900.00 to fix my 3 month old flooring.stay away - you have been warned.James
Our dishwasher stopped working. Since it was under warantee, whirpool had D&S come out. They replaced an inlet valve, flooded the kitchen and then realized it wasnt that part. Told us it was the latch to wiggle it and left. Still wouldnt work. Whirpool had them come back. Came back 4 days later and said he didnt order the part yet and would be back another day.. Finally came back, replaced the lever that detects door is shut. Left. Dishwasher now runs a few minutes then shuts off. Then they tell us we have to pay if they fix any other parts. What? They replaced incorrect, uneeded parts and thats my fault!? I missed work two days to wait around for them. Ridiculous, unprofessional and have no clue about repairs.
I recently purchased Frigidare appliances for my recently rennovated kitchen. We found that the microwave door was defective. D&S Appliance is the local Fridigidare warranty repair company, and they were sent to my home to repair the appliance. My experience was excellent. The repair person was Aimee, who was pleasant, and more important, punctual. She was very knowledgable with what had to be done. She was able to not only order the part, but give to me the specific day that it would arrive so that she could complete the job. I am just hours from her repair visit, and I have to say VERY satisfied with D&S. I have no reservations referring the company to friends and family in need of repair service. Aimee is an asset to the company.
Called for repair on a 2yr old washer. 2nd time. They want lots of $ up front. charge you crazy money for parts and then you are at their mercy. Both the guy who showed up and the guy in the office were old school and very rude taking advantage of people and both were very argumentative. BEWARE
Terrible customer service. Technicians are incompetent - multiple visits to fix the same problem. Hours and hours of time. Moreover, the scheduler is rude and unhelpful. If you have a choice, go with someone else.
Excellent service. Prompt and professional staff
Pathetic....First of all you will never get service when you need it, on top of that the technician have no idea whats the real issue with appliance. After charging us $400 dollars, all he asked us to replace our refrigerator.
Unreliable, horrible service. Nancy, the receptionist actually hung up on me when I voiced my frustrations.
One of the worst appliance companies I have ever dealt with in my life.
Put a call in for a repair but they never called me. Not good business.
Serviceman was ontime,polite and efficient.
Great company fantastic employees
