A small bar with a great atmosphere. Staff are amazing and the food is great. Literally a couple hundred types of whiskey and bourbon. On Sundays, the best steaks in town. Highly recommend

Made the drive from Indy for Steak Sunday. Was an AMAZING dinner experience! We had a party of 8. Service was outstanding! Food was Delicious!We had the Onion Rings, Duck Legs and Fried Green Tomatoes As appetizers which were ALL outstanding!! BEST steak me and hubby have had anywhere!! Atmosphere was warm and welcoming. And Bourbon selection unbelievable!All over a wonderful evening with family and friends. Highly highly recommend!!!

If youre looking for an upscale drinking experience, look no further! The Mint is equipped to satisfy your bourbon desires anywhere from 10 High to Buffalo Trace, and their Old Fashioned leaves little to be desired, as long as you only desire bullet rye.

Pros- wonderful knowledgeable staff and a great atmosphere. We will continue to come back for drinks.Cons- the food seems to be poor quality. Microwaved, maybe? We’ve eaten twice and were not impressed. I REALLY want to be able to give this place a great review someday so I really hope they step up their food game.

Great drinks, food, and atmosphere. Felt very welcomed when I came in for a drink and dinner. Several great cocktails to choose from as well as decent menu. The food was plentiful and great tasting. Will be back more and cant wait for the other plans they have to happen!

Wonderful drink and the food is very good. Especially the fried portobello mushrooms and ribeye steaks!

Go here for the cocktails! The bartender is very good, making metropolitan quality drinks in the cozy town of Franklin at reasonable prices. The food menu is limited and mostly deep fried, but pretty flavorful when you have a craving for it. But the cocktails are the draw for this place, so highly recommend!

The bar manager is always friendly, makes great drinks, very fast. The wait staff are super friendly too. Love the small town feel and the bourbon choices are numerous.

Good whisky, sleazy atmosphere.I was really excited to see Franklin get a cocktail bar with a good whisky selection but every time I was in there I noticed a regular hitting on women about half his age. After seeing him drooling over one of the waitresses all night I finally said something to a bartender and they mentioned it was the owner! Asking around he used to be the GM at (the now defunct) River Town winery where he maintained an equally toxic environment towards women.

Loved the service. Granddaughter took me out for my birthday. It was nice. Enjoyed the fried tomatoes and the onion rings. And they had birthday shots!

I have been here twice and the service was excellent both times! The bourbon smash and Java martini are very good. There is also a nice bourbon selection. This is my new go-to bar whenever Im in Franklin.

This location has a great environment and excellent fried chicken! Amazingly, the sound for as many people were there was minimal at best and could even hear the music playing in the background. Definitely a must if looking for somewhere to have a good time.

Stop by for an after Artcraft movie libation, my interest tweak by a newspaper article. Brian stopped by to chat as one of our party was in the business. Our experience was outstanding, made more so to know Brian is a veteran and active in several veterans organizations. I had a bourbon smash that was refreshing. One in our party had the new Fall City on tap and was very complimentary. Zach (vet of USMC) took good care of us. I wish The Mint was closer but I will return.

Great frog legs, catfish, and corn. My grandma loved the Derby pie as well. Fantastic service and a clean facility!

Niece took my mom out for her birthday dinner. Really liked the catfish and onion rings. Service was good. Place was clean.

He is an awesome boss, father, and man and has never once been that way towards any of us. He knows my parents and he treats me like family. Maybe you should get your story straight instead of automatically seeing a man that is being friendly and helpful as a stereotype.

As a former employee of Brian’s, he treated me with respect and dignity.As far as River Front Winery (he worked there as well) and all of us employees got taken by the owner.While I wasn’t there to witness what happened, I can only post what I experienced.

Beer wasnt very cold, food wasnt very good, had to get up to get a second beer because waiter never checked on us. Very small menu selection. Probably wont be back, hopefully they will turn it around.

Probably the finest example of premium+++ spirits available by the shot (neat)............why take a chance on purchasing a bottle of a high end spirit when one can simply pursue an outstanding selection(s)..........a much needed service in this area................dont do high end spirits?....one of the most outstanding beers in the world is available here.........kentucky bourbon ale...............
