The lady who cashed me out was kind of rude. Very friendly to a couple regulars. But this was my first time stopping in. I asked if I can get a pint of something. This lady says idk can you?. Smh. So I said May I?. Like for real does this place even care if they get new customers or is it just cool to be rude to new people?
The staff has their regulars that they are welcoming and kind with. Anybody else will not get treated the same. You can tell just standing in line how different they treat people. And I stop in a few times a month because its walking distance from where I live but I will gladly make the drive to arrow wine in centerville if I feel like receiving good customer service. Anyway the store itself is fine. Smaller selection of liquor but I never struggle to find what I want unless its a craft beer. They just dont have any.
Just watched an employee berate a man with a medical exemption for not wearing a mask inside. He politely explained that he had just had surgery and was not allowed to wear one. She continued to tell him she could sell him a mask or he would not be allowed to shop there. Nice to see them trying to make money by forcing someone with a medical condition to wear something their doctor told them not to wear. The mask mandate absolutely states that medical exemptions are to be honored. She waited on a man after him that had his mask on his chin. As the man without the mask left she talked trash about him to the remaining customers in the store because he looked perfectly healthy to her. I will never shop at this business again.
Always a great experience!! Great employees!! Highly recommend!!
Called today to see if they had Henry Mckenna 10 year. The lady told me that she was instructed by the state liquor people that she wasnt allowed to talk about what liquors they had in stock. So I called the department of commerce division of liquor controls, and they informed me that no guidance has ever been suggested to state licensed liquor retailers that they not discuss varieties of liquor in stock at their locations. Just trying to get a bottle of bourbon, why you making it hard on me lady? One star. Oh, and also, called two other liquor stores, both were very helpful, and one had the bottle. About to go get that bottle, and hit them with a 5 star.
We were there before New Years to pick up a few items and the store has been under new family ownership and hes a US Veteran. They were helpful in assisting us to find what we needed. This past weekend they helped us with a large order for a party, we emailed the list of what we wanted, a few days ahead of time, and they had the order ready for pickup! This saved us so much time and hassle! I recommend and would buy from them again - especially to support a Veteran owned local business.
Smaller setup but still has a good variety. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly reccomend this location.
The store is GREAT ... American owned and operated ! Prices are PERFECT ! Not sure what state the other reviewer is from.I actually want to review OLE SMOKEY BRAND - Pumpkin Pie Moonshine. IT IS GROOOOOOSSSSS ! It tastes like a double flavored Pumpkin Pie Jolly Rancher Candy and it SERIOUSLY Smells like feet ! I SWEAR TO GOD, IT SMELLS LIKE DIRTY OLD TENNIS SHOES ! I cut it in half with water and it still stinks and tastes TERRIBLE ! Not a fan of Ole Smokey anyways, and this really firms that up ! GAK !Please drink responsibly !
Rude Employees, dirty, terrible location. Go somewhere else.
Small selection but typical liquor store.
Amazing workers ! Always super nice to me, and very helpful ! 🍺🍻🍷🍹
