Nelson Mazda of Cool Springs offered free oil change and car detail for currently employed teachers. Car maintenance can be costly and teachers do not make a lot. This kind of reward/ acknowledgement was much appreciated. The service was fast, professional, and courteous.

I went in for general maintenence. I was told by an oil change place that I needed new brakes. Nelson Mazda did a full service check and said no you do not need brakes. Huh? This is why I love this team. They said you are good to go no payment take care.Wow! They are always a breath of fresh air.Love My Mazda! Thanks to everyone there for being decent!!

Took my Mazda MX-5 racecar in for an engine problem. Towed it down from Bowling Green where I was in a competition at the NCM Motorsports Park, and chose Nelson because the Service Director has racing experience. They were super responsive and friendly, and the technician tried everything possible to get me back on track, but ultimately I must do a tear down to fix it back home I’m Denver. Would highly recommend their Service Department for their empathy (they were almost as sad as I was that it wasn’t fixed!) and their persistence to get this Mazda racer back on track!

Overall experience was great! Service Advisors were courteous and professional and technician did a great job of keeping me informed of what was going on with my car. I had some questions re: additional work that was needed and the Advisor answered them in a way that made me feel confident about returning there for service. We bought our used Infiniti QX80 from Nelson Mazda in July of 2020. Within days of us getting our car, the dealership called and told us that because the sale was so fast, they failed to do an inspection that was required for the sale. We took our car back and they checked this inspection off. Within days, our car began to show a BCI Malfunction which affects ALL censors and the anti-lock brake system. We took the car back to Nelson and they ended up having to send it to Infiniti to get it fixed. They claimed that the entire electrical system was replaced at Infiniti due to chewed electrical lines by a rodent from the previous owners. Fast Forward to June 2021 and the same BCI malfunction comes up which again affects ALL censors and the anti-lock brake system. We called Nelson since this was a problem they were supposed to have fixed when they sold us the car. We took our car to Nelson and they kept it for a couple days then told us they did not have the technology to run a diagnostic on it and that we needed to take it to Infiniti. When we asked them who we were supposed to send the bill to, they began to ask if we purchased an extended warranty. We werent sure if we had and asked them to check our file. Granted, whether we purchased an extended warranty or not, we feel it is their responsibility to fix this problem since the problem had originated with them. It is now almost mid-July and we still cant get any help from Nelson Mazda and no one will return our calls. Not only that, but earlier this month, a sales person called asking to buy our car back because of their low inventory. When my husband asked him to connect us to someone in the maintenance department, he started to give him all the reasons why he couldnt/wouldnt. Not only would I never recommend this dealership to anyone, but I am also considering contacting the Better Business Bureau to try to get someone to help us.

I have been going to Nelson Mazda for the past few years to get my car for regular maintenance and repair. . This was the easiest Service Center I have worked with. Nelson Mazda was efficient but also made sure that everything kept me informed on any issues or problems that discovered during any regular oil change. I recommended anyone to go see

I bought a new vehicle from them and the whole process was disorganized. I was told they would be able to install the splash guards I had purchased before the vehicle was delivered. Instead, they installed half of them and let the vehicle sit around all day when it was supposed to be delivered at 2. The sales person wasnt able to deliver the vehicle until almost 6 PM as a consequence of the service department ignoring the work that needed to be completed on my vehicle.When I returned last weekend to have the remaining splash guards installed, I waited 40 minutes only for a service manager to approach me to tell me that the parts were at the Murfreesboro dealership, but he had sent someone to get them. He offered a car, but seemed surprised that I would be upset that they had wasted my time, again. In total, an appointment that should have taken an hour MAX to install 2 splash guards, ended up being over 2 hours. Theyre also very lax in enforcing face masks and I saw several staff members without masks or improperly wearing them not covering their noses.Overall, my impression of this dealership is that at a minimum, the service department has serious communication issues, if not incompetence. I wont be bringing my car back here for service or purchasing a new vehicle from them again.

I had to have my car towed as it broke down on the interstate. I had just drove a few miles when my car started acting up. When I pushed on the gas it hesitated. That stopped and then a mile later the car started jumping when I tried to accelerate. It was late Saturday evening around 6:55 pm when I tried calling multiple places to see if they would take my car. The only place that answered was Nelson Mazda! I spoke with a gentleman named DJ. He calmed me down and helped me figure out what I needed to do. On Monday first thing in the am I recieved a text with what was and the cost of the repair.They did the repairs and I feel it is a very fair price. They have my business from here on out! Oh..they actually send you video of the car as they are assessing it so you can actually see that they did what they say they did!!!Chis Henthorne was the Tech!Service Advisor Devin Rogers-5:stars to both!!!

I delivered my car for regular maintenance. Unfortunately when I went to pick up my vehicle it had been flooded (happens when rotary engines are turned off while cold) and had to be returned for de-flooding. I was given a discount, but was still charged +$200 for the de-flooding on top of the service bill. I have been going to this dealership for years, and they are typically great this is the first questionable service I have had hear.

Normally, I would give Nelson Madza 5 stars, but this visit rates only three stars, which they get for providing excellent service changing the oil & rotating the tires.One star was removed for not requiring customers and all staff to wear face masks during a pandemic. Four or five customers & one staff member did not wear masks in the waiting room.I am in a higher risk group for serious consequences of the Covid 19 virus, so I waited outside while the maintenance was done. I will try to find a place that makes me feel safe for future service.Another star was removed because they did not give me a 15% discount offered in the pre-work estimate email. I did not notice this at the time, because I just wanted to get out of a place that did not feel safe for me.Bottom line, if you want my business, create a safe feeling environment.
