Okay 6:21am @ 82 degrees hot . I brought 2bags of donut holes for my kids like I do every other morning. I asked for 2 courtesy CUP of water so they can push all that sugar down. Nope WE don’t give COURTESY WATER . After she gets me 1 free cup of water, Lie & said they don’t. Anyhow . Just give out the water to paying Customers, it’s not your Store . Keep the customers HAPPY

Very sweet lady, though I am not sure her name. I come here in the mornings to get kolaches which are fantastic. Honestly I am not sure if this is a corporate owned or franchised location, though it is ran like a individual small shop which makes it very charming and welcoming.

Fast, friendly service. Sausage and cheese kolaches are great and so are the chocolate filled devils food donuts. You cant find the choc deviled filled donuts everywhere, as a matter of fact they are rare. I can count on this Shipleys to have them! Fresh and delicious.

There ok. Not worth the outrageous prices. Went yesterday morning and didnt get all my order. Thank goodness I checked everything out in the car before I left then the lady checked her receipt to make sure. Lady oh please!

I go here pretty regularly and its always really good. The soda always tastes very good which is not common for donut places that have soda machines. The sausage rolls are some of the best in the country and I really enjoy them. And all of the filled Donuts are really good as well. The staff is friendly and nice and treats you really well.

Go to an Asian based donut shop around the corner!!!Where do I start?! Being my first time there, I will never return again. They have a drive thru... there’s no menu posted anywhere in the drive thru and I have no idea what they have on their menu. I ask at the window if they have a menu and the girls response is “well you can come in and look at the menu”.... WHATS THE POINT OF A DRIVE THRU FOR FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS THEN?! I had an itch to just leave at that point. Once inside while looking at the menu we were rushed into ordering when I have no idea what I want. During ordering the two girls behind the counter were more worried about having their own conversations than listening to my order as I had to repeat everything that I said. Also, don’t bother them asking about their old fashions that they have on the menu because I had to explain what an old fashioned donut was to them just to be told they don’t have those and then I proceeded to ask why it was on the menu. I was done even speaking let alone giving them a dollar of my money at that point and I just let my girlfriend finish the transaction. She wasn’t quite as disturbed as I was UNTIL we watched the girl walk behind the see through the donut display just to stand there and talk for 4 minutes. At that point she was ready to just walk out too but we had already paid. My old coworkers used to rave about Shipley’s but at this point I have no clue what they were so hyped about. These over priced and CLEARLY OVERRATED donuts didn’t even come close to being anything special.

I never understand this location Crowley rd this is my 3rd times asking for hot donuts before 8am in the morning and they always tell me No..a paying customer can’t even get hot food is unacceptable I used to never have this problem until they change staff but I guess they don’t want the business

Normally this is a good place. Today not so much. Sausage roll over cooked so much the cheese was burned to the outside.Update: Will not come here again. It is flu season but even if it were not, why does this place think it is acceptable to prepare food and handle food with no gloves on? Im not talking about before it is cooked, I just a woman in back handling the cooked food without gloves.

I go here regularly and it’s always a great experience! Employees are super nice and the donuts taste amazing. My dogs agree 😉

Would give the 5 is they want to keep changing prices on my drinks one lady charges me 2.17 another lady charges me 3.45 and the other lady charger 3.92 I get the same thing every morning for jalapeno kolaches caramel ice coffee 1 donut holes and two regular Donuts I dont understand why its sometimes $17 sometimes its $20 sometimes its $23 but they really need to stick with one price

Donuts were ok. Biggest issue is that there is no drive thru menu. Hard to decide what you want without knowing what you offer until you get to the window.

I had a coupon for 2 dozen, any variety, donuts for $11.95. I was afraid it would be an all day affair trying to figure out what different kinds of donuts to mix and match but the clerk on duty was very helpful and made it a painless ordeal! These donuts are delicious! Yummy!

Theres lots of choices for donuts in Fort Worth, but Shipleys is worth the slightly longer drive. Large variety for a great value in price.

Calling to find out info was not easy. I called a couple of times and two different people answered the phone. Neither of them could answer basic quest Ill ons I had. I did end up ordering sev er rally dozen donuts from here. They were good- more of a simple old fashioned recipe.

Love me some Shipleys. Have so my entire life. Im 48 and still buy em. Used to go sit in one downtown Arlington on stools and watch cars go by and eat em.

Staff is always friendly. Donuts are delicious! We come here often and the prices are great!

Not impressed with this location!I went through the drive-thru and theres no menu. Im a frequent visitor at other locations so no problem for me. I know what I want, but I interrupted the cashier on her phone at the window.There was no greeting at window, which attests to the poor customer service mentioned in prior reviews.The bread on the sausage & cheese kolache had began hardening and wasnt very warm. The glazed donut was fine, but it was like it had been chilled instead of being warm from being prepared today.The rest was edible, but I was traveling and unable to reheat my items. I went this morning around 7:30a and was the only car in line.

Prices are a bit high for regular donuts but they are good. My issue with this location is the staff is not friendly at all, they are more worried about their own personal conversations or their cell phones than they are the customer.

Worse kolaches ever, donuts were half decent and they told me they didnt have a dozen chocolate after I already paid them.

Prices are a bit much, but this is the second time I’ve gotten home with the wrong order:( wasn’t even busy.

Shipley has changed their oil, and now all donuts taste terrible...They claim they changed oil to make a healthier do-nut?... REALLY? Healthy Do-nut? sister please! Bad corporate move, now lost my business after 50 years of dedicated customer.

Love this place, so many options! My favorites are the blueberry filled and the lemon filled. I also love the country sausage with jalepenos, so good. I like the window on the side, you can watch them making the magic happen.

It would be nice if you stayed open until the displayed closing time. Thats poor business practice. Ive come by several times 15-20 minutes before closing time and the doors were locked and the building empty. From one business owner to another, there is no such thing as going home early.

Wasnt to happy they refuse to take our coupon. Then they dont give senor discount.

Our glazed donuts were the normal greatness I expect. Bought three dozen. BUT I go to Shipleys for the chocolate filled. No where has EVER compaired. But today, they were sad. Virtually no chocolate filling in either donut. VERY disappointed since this was a treat. There are no Shipley Donuts where I live.

Got there bright and early and the donuts were cold. I think they were trying to fresh do-nuts but from last week.

Giving one star in hopes that management sees this review... Today was my third time in a row ordering kolaches without cheese and coming home to bite into cheese-filled kolaches. The first time it happened, they were even jalapeño. I am lactose intolerant and also very sensitive to spicy foods. I mentioned the mistake after the first time and they made it right, by giving me the wrong ones again. I called after the second time and asked them to check to see if the batches are switched or what because I was really disappointed and didnt want it to happen to anyone else. Three times isnt bad luck, its a pattern of either negligence or deliberate kolache sabotage. Yeah that sounds hilarious but I visit this shop for one thing and thats what these reviews are for. I havent even left reviews for the horrible attitudes of the workers almost every time I go. The only time theyre nice to me is when I bring my dog in the drive thru. Im fed up and wont be back. The place could really use some new management or maybe just some workers who care about their job.

Shipleys has a wonderful variety of donuts. I dont prefer chain brand food, so if you arent looking for something new and amazing, I suggest Shipleys. Their prices are a bit steep though for regular donuts without a coupon. If in this area, I suggest KC donuts further north on Crowley Rd.

I have been to many Shipley’s. This is the worst one. The cashier had to ask me multiple times what donuts I got to relay the information to the other worker. Why not write it down if you can’t remember? Also, the donuts I got tasted like they have been sitting out all night. I’m guessing they were left over from the night before. When I go to a donut shop at 7am on a Saturday I expect fresh donuts. Not ones that are dried out and gross. I will not be spending my money at this location again. I drove 23 minutes just to go to this Shipley’s because all around my new house are the “hole in the wall” donut shops. Probably better off going there. The Euless location by far has the best ones.

This morning I went to get a dozen donuts for my team. When I arrived there was a car in front of me in the drive thru that I waited behind 10+ mins. I was assumptive that they were waiting for donuts to be made fresh considering the cashier kept returning to the window to update the person. When I get to the window, a different cashier opens the window. I ordered a dozen glazed donuts and was told they do not have any made. I was fine with this because I prefer hot donuts anyway, so I said okay and asked the cashier how long would the wait be. The response was a stressed “ohhhhhhh a long time”. I told her that I was fine with waiting considering I had already waited 10+ mins behind the previous car and I was late already. She asked if I was going to pay now because it was going to take a “long time”. I asked her how long and she said 10 minutes. I told her again I was fine with waiting and after reviewing her body language and considering the interaction and her question regarding my likelihood to pay, she really did not want to take my order. I told her it’s okay I will try somewhere else.I would not recommend this place. You would think that if you are out of a donut, you would offer what you do have available or apologize. Customer service.

Their doughnuts are kolaches are made fresh daily. They also except orders for same day pickup.

Won’t be going back. Yes there’s a large selection of do-nuts and other breakfast items. But whether I go in early or late the do-nuts are flavorless and most of all the customer service sucks. That’s really the worst part. I can handle flavorless do-nuts from a large franchise but I can’t stand the service. Everyone is constantly not paying attention or just plain rude with no apologies. I’ll start going to the mom and pop shop across the street again.

Ive been eating Shipleys my whole life. The best donuts in Texas and better coffee than Starbucks.

I will not be going back to this location an its sad cause its so close to where i live...i normally never have a problem when i go but today as soon as i walked in the girl that was gonna help me was rushing me to order an i didnt even know what i wanted an i ask her not to rush me an she rolled her eyes an walked away after that i turned around an went somewhere else

First off I drove a long way to get donuts specifically from Shipley’s I went in and ordered $15 for the donuts and they wanted to charge me for a box to put it in and when I disagreed with the charge The very rude young black girl told me to shut up and get out and she didn’t care about my business all because I argued about a $.25 box congratulations you’ll never get my business again
