Went to lunch with friends. Order came out in quick time and it tasted amazing I had 1 of their ciabatta melts and it was delicious. Always love popping in for food as its always been top notch 😊👍
Great beer, great staff. So much better than the Golden Eagle
Amazing, Fantastic Staff, full credit to these People for running a great business
Good pub to go to for a drink with mates. Outside also has a great seating area with an undercover section and TV.
Lovely friendly place with good food and drink. We will be back another day
In need of much TLC from management but nice staff and good food.
I love that place.
Great pub - very covid friendly, great beer, and service
Lovely service, food was amazing!!
Shocking service, bad food, terrible attitude and refuses to take cash.
Very limited menu at the moment no option for children
Whilst visiting friends in the area with my family, we decided to visit the Beehive for an afternoon drink. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 2 toddlers. When entering the building we were confronted by the landlord who rudely pointed at the children and said “no children allowed”. When asked if we could get a drink and sit outside, his reply was “again, no children allowed”. We tried to reason with him again, and yet again his only reply was “no children allowed”. His customer service was disgusting and spoilt what could have been a peaceful drink with friends. Our friend entered the pub and approached the landlord to get an explanation, and the landlord stated that he wasn’t rude, and that he had told us three times that children were not allowed. He said they cannot have children in the pub past 1900, however we went for a drink at 1815. All in all a bad experience, with a landlord who needs to learn some manners.1 star is too much!
Control at door on way in, a smile would help with a welcome, nice place but no atmosphere, one drink and left..
The absolute gent just inside the entrance could do with some lessons on manners, incredibly rude. It’s not how you build support. I wanted to leave as soon as I got there. Place was dead, only trying to help local businesses and to be spoken to like that is appalling. The food as OK... Beer was flat...
Arrived for a family breakfast on sunday morning.Well worth the little wait for them to open.Lovey sausage bacon could have been a bit more crispy buts thats just personal preference, lovely poached eggs that where cooked just right.
The best!
Great food and service. Even spotted that i had forgotten one food order. How many places ask you how you like your eggs cooked for ham and eggs?
Big local pub great for watching top sports events. They have lots of tv screens including a big drop down projector screen in the corner which gives a great view from a wide area. There is a good choice of beers.
Very well organised for covid protection.
Had a great night playing darts. A really friendly bunch. Nice pub.
Nice snack meal in the early evening. Charming bar staff. Very comfortable.
Nice pub if youre looking for a few beers, somewhere to have a perfect pub meal and a great place if you want to watch sport. Loads of tvs in the bar so if your team isnt on the big screen, itll be on one of the others.
Disgusting behaviour from the bar manager on saturday night.Young girl collapsed and became unconscious inside the pub. She was taken outside by other her friends and laid on the benches outside. While she was looked after by other people who were also out drinking, bouncers were asked if they could call 999 for an ambulance. They ventured in to the pub to ask the bar Manager for a phone, to then be told by the bar manager not to get involved. You need a reality check mate, she could have been seriously ill and not been drinking. Would have taken 2 seconds to dial 999. If something serious had happened, that wasting of a couple of minutes of telling your bouncers not to get involved could have cost a life if it was serious.Hopefully the young girl was ok.But just to reiterate, absolutely disgusted by the bar managers behaviour! Should be sacked!
Food was ok, good roudy atmosphere. Sadly I was there for a family meal and it didnt really suit that. But still a good average bar
Sat outside on a nice sunny day while my partner watched the football. Nice seating, clean outside area, big screens for the sport and reasonably priced drinks.
In general a moderate place but if wasnt the lesser of 2 evils probably wouldnt go
Very enjoyable Friday and Saturday nights, good music and very friendly staff and visitors. Good place to have a quiet drink during the week and a nice lounge area to eat in or have a quiet drink on a Friday or Saturday night when the dancefloor gets loud. Very comfortable here.
Always friendly. Always good food and good service. Would highly recommend.
Excellent food, excellent service, very friendly staff. Thank you really enjoyed my food
Great place to watch sport. RAF Beehive does a decent pint and some tasty food. Pick your day though can get really busy.
Food very good & the price excellent. Staff were friendly & helpful.
Quality of the highest order. Quality Food and Variety of Drinks. Excellent service and clientele. Would strongly recommend it
Staff seem hell bent on humiliating customers rather than helping them keep their jobs.....
Great foodGood atmosphere
Food is excellent every time. Customer service is very friendly. Definitely recommend it to friends.
Nice atmosphere both inside and out. Good & prompt service.
Its an ok pub the food is so and so but do recommend beehive burger I love it. Normally go for lunch and when the weather is nice you can seat out and enjoy lunch. Bit dark inside. Tried jacket potatoes lol wasnt cooked well and there was cheese so might have it again. Staff are friendly though.
Wide variety of food and they are use to helping people who have a allergy problems . Very reasonable prices and plenty to eat. Most of all friendly staff and atmosphere 👍 😊
Used to be a great pub back in 2005. A lot of parties till the morning. Great times. Greetings from Poland!
IPA tastes of strong dish washer liquid. It was that strong a taste it even cam with bubbles on the top. carlsberg was tasting of washer liquid as well.
Drink service was slow, DJ took song requests but didnt play then, song selection was limited, nice arrangement of tables and chairs, cosy smoking area
Considering the general area.. a great pub and disco on a Friday and Saturday night. Not sure what the score is with the new decor outdoors...
Excellent very good service. Comfortable chairs to sit on.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff
I like the beehive, good atmosphere and good variety of drinks, very friendly staff and live music is good .
Expensive for a village pub. Clean inside good decor just not worth the price for a pint at your local.
Night Life Starts Here... Where You End The Night Is Up To You... Lol Good Atmosphere &
Big venue with a modern feel but lacks atmosphere.
Excellent customer service. Prompt food delivery, served with a smile and joke.
Pretty good for a spot of lunch. Good prices and decent food.
Decent food. Decent price. Nice staff.
Great place to socialize. Food is great and the beer is nice
Wadworth ales, good food, plenty of free parking.
Nice pub, good food and great atmosphere
Been coming here since about 1994 when I was in the forces. Not exactly a classy joint but a nice enough local boozer.
Decent enough pub.Service was good.
Good pub. Really upped their game in the last few years. Try the Italian Job burger!
Been asked to review by Google randomly many times and finally gave up the ghost. Generally a great place, I visit because its quieter with less in your face people and the Raf squaddies presumably bugger off to the Golden Eagle. Well priced good beers pool table djs fruit machines spirits and delicious food...well i got addicted to the food they cook, The Beehive may not have a revolutionary menu but its always well cooked. At least one of the chefs worked in a Michelin star restaurant afaik. Someone complained about the miserable staff, I echo my above comments, Id rather articulate people who are really nice when you get to know them than brazen Benidormy morons. The front decking is being redone atm.
Very helpful friendly staff and a nice atmosphere
Friendly pub, suitable for the family. Nice beer too.
Friendly staff and lively atmosphere
Very friendly staff, food hearty, comfortable surroundings, worth a visit.
Good alcohol selection. Nice pub
Excellent food. We enjoyed it
Excellent service friendly staff..Quality beer well kept.
Great food served here from breakfast to specials, well worth a visit to try it.
Good place to drink have some food. The beehive can be on the expensive side compared to others in Carterton.
Good pub, decent bar food, friendly staff
Good food and great beers! Recommend!👍
Not a great selection of drinks at all, and not very friendly staff.
Not a bad pub. Good selection of ales
Very clean and do a great Sundays dinner
Lovely food. Great pint of 6X
Great food and friendly bar staff
Expensive, not clean, unfriendly staff, poor selection
I remember the Beehive but only just.
Very good food and service
Very pleasant pub, sport, friendly atmosphere
Great service great beer.
Some cracking peaky barmaids and friends.Nice pint
Staff very friendly. The food it is ok for what you paying for.
Very nice pub, but drinks are quite over priced unfortunately.
Great night out
Friday night, 3 bar staff and a full bar.. 25 minutes to get served.
Bar of choice for food and value for money in Carterton.
Good old classucv
Very good pub meal
The bee dive.. Not great. Ham slimey, eggs undercooked, chips overcooked, all expensive :(
Convenient for me, nice atmosphere
Nice enough pub has booze.
Best pub in town.
Good food, friendly staff,
Tad expensive compared to my home town
All football is on. Pints are decent but extremely high prices and the fat guy who sits at the end of the bar permanently is is so miserable and never polite.
The roast today 16/04/17 was awful not like them the pudding great the last time I eat there
Bit pricey, but plenty of Tvs to watch the football
The staff are rude and arrogant
Great hospitality
