I wish I could give them no stars. At first the manager Jermey seemed cool. I explained to him the issue I was having with my AC.It was blowing cool but not cold. He had someone like at it gave me a price $225 said it would be about 30-45 minutes. After over 4 hours of sitting there he comes back to say it’s my compressor and he can fix it for $950!!! It took them 4 hours to tell me this! This was the absolute worst experience ever! I really felt like they were trying to get over on me because I’m a woman. And don’t bother to make an appointment. Mine was at 10:00 I arrived at 9:45 and left at 2:45! A waste of time

Went in to get my brakes checked expecting to get a brake job done they said my brakes were still ok but they told me my check engine was on they diagnosed the problem told me how much it would cost and replaced the part....They charged for every single little thing they supposedly did when I left there my bill was over 600.00 dollars...smh...and consequently the check engine light came back on a week later... Im afraid to take it back up there cause they might charge me again...plus the service guy was a bit rude and I really didnt want to drop down to his level and play along with him, even though I couldve I really felt like giving him a piece of my mind... totally dissatisfied with this place

I needed two new tires for my Acura MDX as We caught a flat about 45 minutes from home. Luckily Michael and the team were willing to assist. When they couldn’t find my specific tires at their shop, Michael went above and beyond and went himself to pick up tires 8 miles away. The supporting staff was friendly and accommodating as well. Never going back there again. I would get constant excuses as to why my car wasnt finished. My car would be there like it was on a full time work shift. Multiple times I had appointments that I would show up to early. My car didnt even get looked at until after closing because they had more important jobs to do. If Jose is there and you have something like an oil change. Forget it and go somewhere else. You only matter if the work needed on your vehicle is expensive. If I could rate 0 stars I would. I hope no one else moving forward receives the same treatment.

I give a 2 because at least he answered the phone. I was told to get my free replacement battery I would have to drop my car off for the day with no ETA on job completion and that was after basically arguing with me about the invoice and battery. It’s a 10 minute battery swap on a 13 month old battery with a 30 month replacement. What’s to argue?? I went to the one on McCart and they had my car in the bay in speedy time and were very courteous.

I went in to get an oil change for my car. I had set an appointment for it but it doesnt really matter, its first come first serve at this location. I waited a little over an hour to get my car serviced. I didnt mind the wait, but after I left I noticed my car was leaking engine oil. I took it back and they said the mechanic didnt tighten the drain plug enough. They fixed the problem but it was too much of a hassle for a simple oil change.

Appointment times dont matter here and looks like they are going out of business. No more retail store anymore, make sense if it takes them an hour after the Appointment time before they even get started on your vehicle. Like I said, no retail store just a tire shop essentially dont come here looking for parts or accessories.

My family and I have been getting our vehicles serviced here for years; They always do a fantastic job and treat us like family. Of course there is a wait time, but this is an automotive shop so that is to be expected. The waiting area has just been updated with plenty of outlets to charge laptops or phones so the wait time is bearable. I would recommend them to anyone!

I went there yesterday the 13th of October to get an estimate for repairs on ny vehicle. I was told the technician was at lunch and had other work ahead of my as they are very under staffed.I asked about getting an appointment for today, Wednesday, October 14th. He said he had from 11:30 on open, I asked for a 1:00 appointment and it was scheduled. The whole reason for the appointment was so I wouldnt have to wait as Im disabled and use a cane or walker to get around.I got there at 12:45, 15 minutes ahead of my appointment and they didnt even pull my vehicle in to look at it until 2:25, a full hour and 40 minutes after I arrived and an hour and 25 minutes after my appointment time.

Customer service is the worst! I’ve been here a couple times for a simple air check and waited almost 30-40 min. The guys litereally just glance and keep walking. Don’t even bother acknowledging your there or asking you what it is that you need. A simple update of how long it would be would be fine but not even that could they do.

Today as soon as I arrived to work I realized my rear right tire was completely flat and that it would be unsafe to drive it without damaging the rim. I got in touch with my insurances roadside assistance and this Pep Boys was the location they could deliver my car to.Im so happy it was. Polo, the store manager, made an inconvenience and a potentially bad day into a pleasant experience. He was exceedingly polite and helpful over the phone and in store, and I witnessed firsthand the same exceptional manner with other customers. He was able to apply the best price and discounts for my tire replacement and signed me up for a rewards card, informing me of their 1 year roadside assistance coverage as well. I was able to salvage my day and this service did not hurt my wallet as much as I thought it would.But it was ultimately his genuine customer service and the quick attention of the other service members that really turned my day around. Thank you Polo and Pep Boys team!

All Ill say is that you NEED to double check your tire work before you leave. They only put one lug nut on my new tire. Of course, they corrected the situation but that was such a lousy mistake. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Their customer service was good both before and after the one lug nut discovery. I probably wouldnt recommend them. Their wait times are ridiculous, theres no TV, and the restroom is out of order.

Poor customer service, long wait times, pointless appointments. Despite making an appt and arriving early, I was double booked and ended up waiting over 90 minutes for them to start my car. I got an update 20 minutes in that they’d be starting soon ... then crickets until I finally approached them and found out they were just pulling my car in. I understand that things can take longer than anticipated, but customers should be updated periodically and the appointment system needs to be re-evaluated.

I went to get my car state inspected, and they gave me a sticker which was printed 5 years ago. I was caught by the police. I went back to this pep boys four times to get it right. And I have waited like one and a half hours. And when I left, finally the clerk boy complained to me that I did not come the other day. Well... I work. Just like they cannot get it right for me, I had to come four times, and I had to wait one and a half hours because their work shifts did not work out and they are short of the employees, I also have schedules and work. I do not know why I need to be complained by him since I am the customer who paid and have been flexible as much as I could to fix it even though they have been so much time and money from me. I have been cooperative because I need to work on my ticket of this. I will avoid going back for any repair if possible.

I can honestly say hes great with customer service he was able to tell me what type of oil my car would need and he let me know of some other miner things my car could use. DO NOT GO HERE, CUSTOMER BEWARE. I came here because I got a mail offer stating that customers can get an oil change for $17.99 and a free diagnostic test. Im sitting in the waiting room for a few minutes, then they take me to where my car is and its placed high up where they took off the two front tires. Wow. They tell me something related to the tires needs to get fixed. FIRST OF ALL, they did not have my permission to do this. I just came for a $17.99 oil change and a free test. I tell them I just want to check out. And wait it gets better. The manager, Hipoloto Vasquez says that the free test is superficial. If I want the test, it costs $90. When the lady with the glasses charges me, she said the oil change was $40. The card machine stated $83. The misunderstanding of the oil change price was cleared up with the manager. The cashier gave me an attitude. The $83 was from a previous transaction with another customer. Im glad I noticed, because she clearly did not pay attention. Finally, I paid the $17.99 oil change and left without the diagnostic test.TLDR; DONT GO HERE.

Looked all over the place and 2 employee saw me and kept helping this young man and ignored me until I just went to the back counter and asked if somebody can check me out with my items. If I could give no stars I would. My headlight on my 2008 Ford Fusion went out, so I searched online and was told they replace bulbs for $9.99. I call and Im quoted a price for a bulb. I go to the store and buy it and Im told that the auto department can install it. I take it and Im told no charge. This is great because Im a full-time college student and funds are limited. I pull my car up and I watched the mechanic, with no tools, try to replace it. Of course he struggles, right? At this point there are 3 men under my hood, with no tools, trying to replace my bulb. Im then told its hard to replace and that it would cost $30. I had to get to class, so I leave. I then double checked that online it said $9.99. I then called Pep boys to ask why was I quoted $30 when it says $9.99 online. I was then told it would take triple labor to replace the bulb. What is triple labor and why would it take 3 mechanics to change a lightbulb? I felt they were trying to rip me off..either because Im a woman or because Im African American. I will never go back to this store again. Anyway if it takes 3 men to change a bulb, it probably takes 7 to change a tire and I dont have time for that.

His Pep Boys location is God awful! I would advise anyone that is in need of service and or assistance (especially on regards to tires) to seek out the nearest alternative. I would go as far as to suggest allowing a shade tree mechanic to assist you over these con artists.Please allow me too elaborate on why I have this negative view on this location. Yesterday my girlfriend had a blow out on two tires that were purchased and insured by Pep Boys 4 years ago which by the way the tires were supposed to be insured for 5 years or 75,000 miles. Neither stipulation had been met. However, my girlfriend has little knowledge about cars and unfortunately I was on a flight back home from D.C. She only needed 2 tires and they told her it would cost $350, but they told her to get all four tires so she could get the best bang for her buck . She asked about the warranty and was told that because her tires looked extremely worn the warranty and extras insurance she purchased was voided. So being stuck she agreed to buy all four ties for $500 plus tax. Afterwards, she was given her car she asked for one tire that was purchased from them 2 months ago which was not damaged. The worker took the spare tire and sat it on top of her nursing books and spare nursing outfits. He also tossed the spare tire on top of her books and nursing outfits instead of putting it under the mat where it belonged. You would think that would be it, but no as she pulled out of the parking lot she realized that her alignment was of so she backed back in to ask about it. The worker said Oh yeah sorry, bring it back tomorrow and well fix it no charge. Also we broke a lug nut and placed out on order so we will fix that tomorrow as well. By the time I landed she was in tears because of these people. We returned together the next day and were told We can fix your issues, but it will cost $89.99 plus tax. Long story short go elsewhere if possible.

Not impressed I took my car in for an oil change . I took it there because its convinent to work My only issue is im very brand specific on oil . I go back 5 hrs later they tell me new air filter and cabin filter are needed . Okay should have called me i dont have time now . anyway looked at reciept they put different brand of oil in and did not rotate tires . Manager pretty much said tough . Fast forward to next oil change I decided to do it my self Plastic cover under engine missing, Had to use socket and breaker bar to get drain plug out ( had to buy new drain plug ) Broke filter wrench trying to get oil filter off

Worst customer service ever, all the lady told me was unfortunately this and unfortunately that after selling me bogus tires they both blew after 4 months of use, and I purchased the road hazard replacement plan and was told the tire could not be replaced because of how she feels it broke, despite that fact that they immediately stopped selling the brand, two of them busted on me while driving and one was fully replaced but then I was told the other could not because of how she measured the treads. I work blocks from home and I drove light. Theyre good for desperate times! 3 for 300 something

If u dont know anything about cars dont come here. Luckily I know alot basics about parts and tools. I wasnt asked once for help. There was 2 employees (one working tire Dept. I know isnt parts obviously) the other was just chatting away me and 3 other customers stood by for a few min at the counter. I showed the camera what I was trying to purchase as well as bills to do so and left them on registerandbover paid for my purchase... Manager came out trying to chase me if I wanted to steal them i couldve. This place sucks

I was refered from mansfield location Pep Boys to the Fourthworth location becuase their master tech guy was unablr to work on my truck. I called check on my truck and the manget said it was ready. Uber took me to get my car and l look up and my cat is still on the rack. I go in and ask if my car is ready no one had a clue. I frive my truck from fourthworth to Mansfield. I noticed it was not runing rigjt. I went to work and after work l was driving again and the dashboard light was dem.l was all most home and by the time l pull up and turn the car off. The car would not restart. I jumped tje car off and looked under the hood and so tje hoses were not changed and the bolts were sticking out of the top of my head of the motor. The oil was leaking from the truck. I called explained what happened an they came to pick the truck up. I waited serval days and they have not work on the car until now. Pep boys stated they put the truck on the machine and it was fine . i am really up set because it has been two weeks since by car was worked on tne first time. Dont go to this location because they g8ve bad service. I willnever go back to this location.

I went in for an oil change which includes a tire rotation and they did not rotate my tires, I know because I marked them. Seeing how they like to cut corners I wonder if they even changed my oil or filter. Go elsewhere with your money.

I made an appointment, thats the key word, for saturday at 9:00 am . They did everything they said they would . Went in for 4 new tire and a wheel alighnment. I timed them and it only took 58 minutes . Thats about 1 hour less than i thought . I highly recomend them, and will be back . Good job guys
