I love this place and the people who work here. Everyone has always been extremely helpful, friendly and just genuinely nice people. Ive come here for a few different things over the past and never had a bad experience. In one experience, just recently, I bought a weed whacker that wasnt working right. Ben in service took care of things in the utmost professional manner. When I got it back, I messed up on putting it back together, so I called Ben and asked if he could help. I was there within 10 minutes and he was there to help. I highly recommend this place and hope that Northern Tool never fires Ben! He is a great customer service, knowledgeable individual that you want to keep. You just dont get service like this much anymore.Thanks to the management at Northern Tool

I must say Ive been here about 5 times and yesterday was the best experience I have ever had in a tool store ever. An employee saw me looking at an atv lift, asked if I needed help, after helping me out, he then hands me a $20 coupon. I get to the register one of them notices a ding and further discounts it. While walking around, I happened by a chainsaw that was marked down by about 50%. I assume its a mistake cause its a high end saw and its brand new in the case. I walk back to the register to see if its a mistake, and its actually $30 less than the price that I already thought was too good to be true. Then she gives me a $20 coupon to use on that. I love when you go someplace and they take care of you as a customer. I will be going back a lot more often now. Great work from a great staff, they have a pretty good selection of both high end tools and the cheap ones just to get you by for one off uses too. Very happy with this place and would recommend to anyone. Also their trailer wheels were cheaper than TSC...

This store was amazing. They have evening you need for some critical outdoor stuff, util trailers, trailer repair and an awesome selection of power washing accessories. SO MUCH MORE.

Needed some magnets with hooks on them. I looked them up online and their website said that they carried them. I browsed for about 30 sec before and employee asked me if he could help me. He didnt know where they were located in the store, BUT he searched until we found them. Thank you! Above and beyond service.

Ben in the service department is outstanding! He tuned up my chainsaw. I was having a hard time starting it. He took the time to show me how to start it and maintain it. Great customer service!!

I bought and installed a 30 barn fan with shutters for my pole barn. It needed a tiny bit of bodywork on the sheet metal surrounding it, to fit it in a treated lumber box which slid into position, made wiring easy and its on a timer. On warm spring days, I run it to WARM the place, as the slab holds heat, even when the weather changes. GREAT in hot summer days!

This place was absolutely amazing! I dont know if anybody else has gone into Home Depot or Lowes and just felt like a number. Just being completely overwhelmed with how big the place is how many ladders are in the way of the things that youre looking for and how little help that you get from staff but if you go to this establishment that will never be the experience that you have. Everyone there is so knowledgeable and so helpful and if they dont know they will call somebody to the front who knows. Ive never been in a tool store thats given so much personal attention to me trying to find a tape measure. This is the greatest tool store Ive ever been to and I would recommend everybody go there if you want to be treated with dignity and respect while trying to give the money for buying supplies

Northern Tool web site only accepts product reviews and anything about customer service gets rejected. I have been unable to use my transmission jack for three months. Their customer service always says they will do something then I never hear from them again and I start all over.Torin is the manufacturer. The product is under 1 year warranty so trying to work with them as well with nearly the same result.I would have been better off going through Harbor Freight.

I placed an order on their webpage 21 days ago. I still do not have my order. I called their customer service. I was sent 2 tracking numbers that did not work, and was told that I could not cancel my order. I was told that I had to reject the order when it arrived!? Asked to talk to a supervisor, waited 35 minutes on the phone. The supervisor sounded surprised when talking to him. I told him that I was not going to wait until the order arrived and that I wanted my money back. Which was another pain-steaking ordeal. First and last time I order from this company.

Don’t have a lot of in stock items. Ordering from the website and delivered to the store takes a long time with terrible follow up.

Good products but online says in stock then called to verify then drive to location and got there inventory says 1 in stock but I was told not in stock and offered a higher priced item of same kind which is bait and switch.

Love this store, love the quality merchandise, people very helpful -- in person. But do not expect them to return a call, no matter what your problem or how many times they tell you they will return your call.

Clean store...very organized and uncluttered. Prices are decent for higher grade tools. Nice discounts and average pricing on lower grade tools. I would pick Klutch over Pittsburgh all day long. Only issue so far is that I have to hunt down someone to help me get the products I in cages. Usually have to go to cashier to page for assistance. If not for that 5 stars easy.

Had a little time to kill and went into the store to check out the log splitters from northstar & wow are they impressive, walked around a bit to see what else they had & soon realized I would be in there most days if I lived closer. Really enjoyed the very knowledgeable staff & the very high quality of the tool lines that I saw!!!

Terrible customer service. I ordered a workstation that mounts to the side of an auto hoist and it was received with the valve broken off. I have contacted Northern Tools and emailed pictures but never received a replacement or refund. Would not recommend ordering through them.

Nice big store. My first visit and I wasnt sure what to expect. My opinion is I think its very similar to Tractor Supply in many ways. I was looking for a small smooth jaw vise but I didnt see any.

Went in to store to purchase a snow shovel, an employee greeted me and asked how he could help, but they had a smaller size than I wanted so I ordered it online and had it shipped to the store at no cost!

First time walking in, the place was very clean, spaced out very nice, a lot of choices per product lines to choose from, great selections & good prices. I enjoyed walking up and down all the aisles and just being in aww of everything that they carried. A vast selection of literally everything. The bathrooms are big, clean and well maintained. For as impressed as I was with the place though, not once did an employee come ask us if we needed any help finding anything or any assistance. The 4 of us (My bf, my 12yr old daughter, my 21yr old son and myself) were in there probably 30 mins or so looking at everything. We did make a few purchases before we left and will be returning. I did enjoy the place, I was like a kid in a candy store cause I love tools!!! The only downside is pulling out of the parking lot sometimes, cause Washington center Rd can get super busy lol. Great store guys!!

I had an interview with a management team member whom lied about having me attend a seminar at a nearby Hotel for orientation. Never was sent an email about the time and day. In my opinion that is very unprofessional and therefore I would not recommend them to anyone or do business with them. PS. I would have given a half star if it were possible!!!
