The whole reason I came here was because my name is also Travis and I figured of I cant trust another Travis then who can I trust? Im glad I brought my car here. The price was fair and they got my car running like new. Its nice to not have the check engine light staring at me as I drive. Im so happy that I found Travis Auto Service. I hit a huge pot hole and something knocked loose under my vehicle. I didnt know what was wrong but they were very helpful and friendly from the first phone call I had with them, to picking up my vehicle after they fixed the problem. Best auto service company in NE Indiana. Travis and crew care about quality repairs and customer satisfaction. Ive been a client since Travis had a single bay shop and each year has only proved this company works hard to get auto repairs right. I receive my replaced parts for inspection, my 2008 Honda runs well and costs for repairs are very reasonable.Travis and team always save me money by letting me know when wear is showing, which allows me time to save up cash for new breaks and such. BEST SHOP IN NE INDIANA. BEST OWNER TOO.

I am leaving this review for a family member as they are fearful of retaliation or harassment from the owner. They are ACTUALLY fearful of retaliation. The owner (Travis) is rude, abrasive, arrogant and does not keep his word. He can come across as threatening when confronted with his NOT holding to his word. I do not recommend giving this person your business.

Super friendly, honest, and great work

Coming back home from Columbus OH on I-469, we hit a piece of metal that couldn’t be avoided. Got off on Maplecrest and stopped at the gas station. I looked up “Auto Repair” and saw that Travis’ shop was right behind us. By this time steam was coming out of the hood. John greeted us at the front desk, and Travis said he’d take a look under the hood. I had wiped out the radiator, lots of wiring and the a/c condenser. Six hours later we were on the road back to Michigan. Those 6 hours were spent on comfy chairs, watching tv, using free WiFi and chatting with John. What could have been an awful situation turned into a happy little accident. Prices were fair, work was good and all the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend!

Traviss Auto Service is my go-to place for all of my automotive care needs. He is kind, and understanding if you dont have much car knowledge. Ive had horrible experiences at other places (like Pep Boys) where Ive been overcharged, talked down to, and theyve over-sold me things I did not need solely because Im a woman and they have sales goals they have to meet. (I was 18 at the time and didnt have anyone to tell me they were scamming me.) Travis does not and would never do that. He has saved me hundreds of dollars, and has given me the peace of mind that my car is in good hands. My car knowledge is pretty basic, so when I was having issues with my muffler, I had no idea what to do so I took it in to Travis. He looked at it, tightened a few things, and he fixed the problem. For free! He is not the kind of mechanic to nickel & dime you. He is straightforward & provides affordable services. Highly recommend Traviss Auto Service!

This place is customer-satisfaction oriented before all, money time and communication come second. If the part can serve, they keep it, which is budget friendly, unless you want otherwise. Travis does have temper issues when he is frustrated or tired, but if you see thru this, he is an honest and hard-working guy. For example, he never leaves the place of business until all the jobs for the day are done. If issues arise, he communicates with vendors and makes impossible to happen, just to keep customer on the road. Yesterday he honestly gave me credit for new brake rotors, since old ones were pulsating and he acknowledged that they were installed improperly at his place more than 9 months ago! Not many car shops would do that for customer. Work quality is acceptable and looks like Travis has more customers than he can handle. I would improve communication when things go wrong or problem arises. Just let customer know whats going on. And I would seriously consider expanding the car shop, hire more mechanics. I heard some prospective customers within one mile away were sent away to do repairs somewhere else, just because there is tight schedule.

I’ve always had great service at Travis auto they are always kind honest and truthful. They always always call before doing anything with my vehicle which is super important to me. Its never fun to hear that you have to have a major repair on your vehicle but they always make it a bearable experience!!!

Travis was able to get my repairs done in a timely manner in an emergency situation since my regular mechanic was out of town on vacation. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. I would definitely bring my car here again in the future.

Thought my appointment was on a Monday and really it was on Friday. Even though he was extremely busy on Monday, Travis fitted me into his schedule and was very accommodating. This place is an honest and excellent shop and would recommend to everyone.

I got nervous trying a new mechanic, but I decided to try out Travis for an oil change. They ended up figuring out I had a bad tie rod during my oil change that could break any minute. They took me out in the garage to look at it and showed me what it was. Thankfully they could fix it right there and then for me and I didnt have to schedule another appointment.The oil change was only $30 compared to my old mechanic charging $45.They also gave me quotes on other things I was looking at getting done and all the prices are super reasonable and fair!My old mechanic would charge about $400 to change my brakes and Travis quoted me at $240. Yay!Give them a try. :)

Service is excellent. Seems to be the place for Wranglers. and give a 10% discount to all Fort Wayne Wranglers club members. Dealership wanted 300 more for the same fix.

Couldn’t have been happier with the service. I had an idea of what was wrong but needed some true diagnosis done before dropping some coin on parts. They confirmed what was wrong, gave me the data to prove it and even printed out the info on the TSB related to the issue. Pretty sure it only cost me $40. If I need any work done it’s going to Travis.
