AH-MAZ-ING!!!! This woman KNOWS vegan baking for sure!So my wifes 50th bday was this past week. My son ordered a vegan carrot cake from Whole Foods over a month ago. Goes to pick it up, they said they didnt have it. They scramble, cant even find a store that has frosting to make one...So they refund him his money and he calls Brooke. THANK GOD!, she answered and was able to supply him with a cake within 24hrs!!!! We were FLOORED! Hearing it was my wifes 50th she knew it was special she knew she was saving the day and omg did she ever!I went to pick up the cake, she told me on the phone that I was going to be delicious and when a baker/chef tells you that....you KNOW its good! I mean I couldnt wait till we were able to dig in and neither could the wife! Soon as she got home she cut the pieces and we dug in.First of all... it looked GORGEOUS! Such a great job on the decoration for it being so last minute! The cake was AMAZING!!!!!!!! Gluten free AND Vegan...OMG no joke. Im not a vegan, I eat meat almost every meal of every day, 😆 But this is easily in the top 3 BEST carrot cakes I have ever had! We were all floored at how good it was. The sponge texture was great and the ICING!!! Could NOT believe it.So amazing, such a great cake and to top it off, Whole Foods got my son to go back to pickup a free cake as an apology, it was HORRIBLE by comparison. I mean Im sorry I even bothered comparing them because they arent the same. The WholeFoods cake tasted like pumpkin bread wrapped in royal icing... it was disgusting.Thank you SO much again chef Brooke, you are absolutely amazing at what you do, keep doing it because its gold!

Was excited to try this place. Very disappointing. I ordered a drink and one of the raw food meals available. The menu online says 11.99 for my entree and I was charged 12.99 and given the wrong order! I was instead give some dinky wrap then was definitely not raw. I literally called back less than 5 minutes after discovering I was given the wrong order and over charged (they charged me extra for my drink too) and would not answer. The open sign was turned off and they had magically disappeared an hour before closing time. We placed 2 orders both of which were of the same price points according to the menu and were charged 2 totally different prices. My mistake for not asking the total when calling in the order. I guess it’s just too much to ask for good customer service and to assume you would be charged the correct prices. The girl answering the phones seems like she could care less. What a shame, this place had real potential and the chef seemed super nice.

Chef Brookes is EVERYTHING! Literally the best vegan meal Ive had since becoming vegan (but there are carnivorous options, too). We live kind of far, but its our go-to for treating ourselves. Although you currently cant dine in, it has no effect on the food itself. We enjoy the ease of grabbing our order to enjoy at home together. I hope to try other meals over time, but for now Im obsessing over the vegan tacos with tofu scramble for protein. There are SO MANY flavors in each bite with lots of healthy color. My husband got the burrito with tofu once and then again with seitan. Everyone can find something great here. There seems to be more options the earlier it is in the day, but even if theyre out of something before closing, its just as delicious to try! The cupcakes are also DIVINE. Tried the smores and double chocolate. I hope to look forward to Chef Brookes for many years to come!

Hands down the best restaurant in Fort Myers! Ive been eating here since the doors opened, and I will never stop. Chef Brooke always has fresh ingredients and switches it up so you never get tired of what she has to offer. I highly suggest some tempeh tacos or any of the melts, but the whole menu is an absolute hit. I also recommend the magic mushroom soup, the potato salad, and ANY of her amazing baked goods!Dont forget to ask for some homemade hot sauce!

Brooke is AMAZING. This is my go-to place to order from as a vegan! She has so many different protein options to choose from, (tofu scramble is one of my favorites) even if you prefer non-vegan options you will not be disappointed! You can tell her dishes are 100% made from scratch, its like having a home cooked meal. I most definitely recommend trying any of her soup and muffin flavors, I dont know how she does it but she packs the perfect amount of flavor into every bite!

Was very excited to try this place considering I am a healthy chef as well. However huge disappointment. Couldnt go inside. Wanted a wrap, a juice, and a bakery option all on the menu and not available. So I ended up getting the taco plate. Tacos were tasty but needed seasoning you cant rely on sauces to do all the flavoring. Rice and beans had absolutely no seasoning. Salt and pepper go a long way. Got a smoothie since no juices were available probably the best part of the meal. Only had cupcakes as the bakery options. I tried the chocolate and it had sprinkles on it! Not healthy! Icing Tasted like it was store bought,so sugary couldnt even eat it all. Then the actual cake part of the cupcake was moist A + for texture and moistness, however no flavor to it without icing. Highly disappointed and it was way over priced.

So glad I found Chef Brookes. The food is very clean and very good. The GF muffins are so delicious. I will be returning.

Just ate there for the 1st time. Checked the menu online and decided on a kim chi veggie wrap. But she didnt have collards for the wrap and she suggested the raw tacos, so i went with it. Excellent! I look forward to going back.

Have tried to visit this place multiple times, door is always locked and they don’t answer the phone. Ive called an embarrassing number of times, you think they would want the business with being open so little at such a little capacity. I wanted to like this place but it’s literally inaccessible :/

Stopped in from out of town in search of a vegan friendly lunch. This place has got all the stuff, great for vegans. Although they do serve meat and dairy options so maybe not if you’re a super vegan.The gypsy style atmosphere was great, made for a great experience. I read some of the other comments about the chefs personality and I guess I got her on an off day haha. She was a little short with me, but she was busy and as long as the food is good I don’t really care. The place was busy and stayed busy the whole time so obviously she’s doing something right.The place was laid out a little weird. The menu was on an opposite wall of the register which had folks confused about to where to go and how to order. I was standing with a group of folks, some wanted to order, some were waiting for food and others wanted to pay. At least they were all friendly. We got it all figured out and I had an enjoyable experience and met some cool vegan people.

Everything here is delicious! Fresh, clean ingredients. Lot’s of vegetarian meals and also has meat options for those that prefer it. Make sure you try any of her desserts, they are to die for! Everything is made with love and you can taste it!!!

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Fort Myers. Chef Brooke is amazingly talented and everything I ever get from her is delicious. My go to is the curry chicken salad in a wrap or a salad. We all need to support the local businesss like chef Brookes ESPECIALLY since the COVID. If you havent eaten here you are missing out.

Owner is very very sweet, the food options are great, food tastes great and isnt expensive. Overall really good place to go for vegans or meat lovers.

Unfortunately I couldnt get inside because they didnt have services at that time do to Covid-19. Just take out. So we didnt stay. We just left. But Im looking forward to go back when they start giving Inside service again. Inside looks very nice and clean.

This place is an awesome venue for vegan vegetarian/ raw and they serve some meat dishes here as well. No frills or fluff you enter build your plate order at the register. As the owner says make yourself at home. The walls have numerous beautiful paintings and art work from various artists mermaids skulls and whimsical paraphernalia line the ceiling and walls. The table cloth are mandalas and elephants. The atmosphere is inviting everything is made to order fresh ingredients highend No short cuts here and you can taste it. This is all reflected in the price. I didnt even feel it my face was too full.🤣😂🤣Muffins are made daily from scratch and sooo delicious!!. Why did i stay away so long from this place? No idea i will be back with some friends!

I’ve been coming here every Saturday for the last month and my only regret is that I did not try this place much, much sooner. One of Fort Myers hidden gems, and the BEST SMOOTHIE IN TOWN. The staff is warm and friendly, but the smoothies are cold and delicious. A must try for anyone who loves to eat healthy but never sacrifices on flavor.

This is a great health food cafe. There are decadent organic options or more reserved healthy bowls. Ive had both the wild salmon reuben and the house salad bowl with tempeh. The tempeh was awesome. The wait is usually about 20 min. The atmosphere is nice though, so I never mind the wait too much. There is a bunch of local art in the back. Its kind of 60s themed. This is one of the only places in Fort Myers that you can get a variety of organic options. Its much better than Adas cafe.

I miss Chef Brooke’s so much! We moved a few hours away and now it is a very rare treat. She has the best option for vegan food in SWFL. It’s prepared fresh and is delicious! And she makes the most incredible desserts. The faerie cakes are moist and mouthwatering. I can’t wait to come back in a few weeks and have some more! And I always love to get the nachos with tofu scramble... though you really can’t go wrong with any food item here!

My mother cant have many things due to serious health issues and this just became my go-to alternative when I cannot cook. I Cant wait to go back and stock up on goodies to have on hand in my fridge as well! So grateful we are blessed enough to have such an amazing eatery locally.

I love their raw Godzilla wrap! You can’t beat it! I love everything there because it’s made with fresh healthy ingredients! I always buy as much as I can to take home with me when I pass by there. I wish there was one in Naples! Because I would go there everyday! This place can’t be compared with any other place in town that I have been to! The tea and sweets are to die for as well! 🧚‍♀️✨✨

Visiting on a house hunting trip and stopped here. The food was phenomenal. My wife was very pleased to be able to get vegetarian entrees and I was happy to get chicken. We usually switch off who picks, but this was a place we could both eat at. I had the chicken quesadilla and she had a veggie burger wrap both were fresh high quality and delicious. We will eat here again. Such. A great alternative to the homogeneous chain restaurants you find everywhere love it.

This restaurant has amazing vegan options!!! Definitely worth the 30 min drive in the opposite direction of my friends wedding; 10/10 food quality & service. I got a couple options to try and everything I got was absolutely delicious!!!! Left me feeling very satiated before my friends wedding in Lehigh Acres! Chef Brooke’s is my favorite restaurant, not only in Ft Myers, but anywhere! As a vegan it can be tough finding stuff to eat sometimes, but her menu always has a huge selection to choose from. Her food feels like a warm hug and must be some kind of magical, because I’m always in better spirits after eating there. She is a lovely person and is always kind to me when I visit/call to place an order despite being super busy running the restaurant. I order a custom vegan cake for my birthday every year, which I hugely recommend! Beyond delicious, thank you Chef Brooke :)

This cafe is so amazing! I absolutely love it. Brooke is always so friendly and helpful over the phone. The food is ALWAYS great, especially the vegan Rubin sandwich, and the fairy cakes are everything! I particularly love that the fairy cakes are dairy free! Definitely my go to spot when I want something sweet.

We will be coming back! We ordered the scrambled tofy tacos, egg sandwich, tea and two vegan cupcakes. When I went to pick my food up from the lobby I knew my food was going to be great. It smells like heaven. We really enjoyed our meals and cant wait for our next visit.

Ordered off their menu and got a sandwich and wrap for $10.99 each.. well they ended up charging us more (apparently due to COVID) and didnt have the courtesy to let us know that the prices on the menu are wrong. CROOKS.Either update your menu and stop the false advertising, or at least let people aware that your prices are higher than what they are listed. Not okay to charge people more without their knowledge! Dont care how good the food is- you cant treat your customers like this. Wont be returning here again.

I had the most incredible birthday dinner here! As a fully plant-based person with a wife that eats gluten free, we had an amazing dinner ( including an unbelievable chocolate birthday cake) without having to worry about what is in it. Thank you to Chef Brooke for a great time!!

What’s unique about this hidden gem is its home-cooked flavors that truly satiate the senses without making one feel guilty afterwards. The chef uses ingredients from all over the world, combining them in tasteful combinations to create her own recipes. My favorites are the daily specials including seasonal dishes, such as the sumptuous mung daal soup with coconut, stuffed squash, or pumpkin soup. The Kimchi wraps and Nori rolls are delicious. Pizza lovers won’t be disappointed either. The gluten-free desserts are freshly baked and scrumptious. I have finally found the only American restaurant which understands the health benefit of no ice in my drinks!! Thank you.The portions are substantial. The ambiance has a hippy, down to earth, mellow vibe. Chef Brookes is accommodating with custom orders and never rushes anyone out even if they linger past closing time... which happens frequently... the food and atmosphere is so comforting, one never wants to leave. It’s my number one restaurant for consistently heart-warming, wholesome food. You can feel the TLC that goes into each dish at Chef Brookes café. She certainly knows her craft!!

Hands down, best meal that Ive had in months. The raw tacos were fantastic, and my friend got the Mardi gras salad which she loved. Plenty of vegan options, and their smoothies are only naturally sweetened (and tasty!). Bonus points for having a huge amount of vegan baked goods!

As someone with a spouse who has gluten and dairy allergies, its always tough to find a place that not only caters to those restrictions but also tastes great. Chef Brookes is definitely one of those rare places that meets both. I love regular food (cheese, meat, gluten) so its nice when I can eat something that doesnt make me feel like its missing anything. The breakfast tacos (with egg) was amazing! The homemade sauce she makes for them is just delicious! My wife had the acai bowl and absolutely loved it. The coffe and muffins we had were also top notch. If ever in the area please check them out, you wont be disappointed! Besides the inedible cake I ordered, let’s just start with the asinine way Brooke does business with customers. To begin she has trouble listening, I ordered a cake for my girlfriend and I = 2 people and was given a cake for 15.( anything to make a buck, I guess ) The door was barricaded and locked when I tried to enter. I then called and sat in the waiting area for a minute while the phone rang. I was told to give my cc over the phone while others were in the lobby ( Yeah! Really smart to do!!! ) I excused myself outside and was told to wait while the cake was left in the lobby? How does this moron stay in business? The cake is another story, over sugared and inedible. What a disaster.

The sandwich’s were great but make sure to get the amaretto cupcake. Holy hell that was delicious! Best vegan cupcake I’ve had yet!

What a great find! We have several vegan family members and finding tasty options for them when dining out is sometimes challenging. Googling vegan restaurants in Ft. Myers brought up this establishment and the menu looked interesting so we gave it a try. Everything was, in a word, fabulous. Mushroom soup, vegan chili, mock chicken and tuna salads were all very good. The seitan tacos were delicious. The desserts are amazing. It was hard to choose, but we left with one brownie and two frosted muffins (I think theyre called angel cakes?). All were big enough to share and so good we couldnt pick a favorite. Well be back again soon, and will be sure to bring our vegan visitors. If there were 10 stars, Id give it a 10! Incidentally, we met Chef Brooke and she was very friendly and helpful about explaining the menu. (anything can be made vegan :)

Ordered raw nachos, an egg sandwich and a smoothie. The raw nachos ended up being a really weird salad that was not at all what I expected or have experienced with having had raw nachos. I ate it because I paid and because I did not want to have to deal with bringing it back in and possibly receive bad service based on all the reviews. It tasted odd. The egg sandwich was good, you cant really mess up an egg sandwich. The sides were really weird though, reminded me of cafeteria food sides. The Holy Cacao smoothie is the reason I am giving 2 stars. It was super yummy, and I was glad I at least had something to enjoy. Would not come back though.

Best stuffed acorn squash weve ever had! Best smoothie called the mountain faerie. And she gave us a sample of her mint smoothie which was delicious as well! I wish me and my mom waited for my dad to eat earlier cause he was the lucky one who got to stuff himself with her amazing food! Highly recommend! Also not just vegan options. Theres food for everyones desires here! I would travel far for her food, we came all the way from pine island and we dont regret it! What a great atmosphere as well. Thanks Brooke

She puts so much love into her dishes, I ask her to feed me what she thinks I should try that day, and it is always so healthy and delicious. Always a pleasure to support this unique local eatery! Chef Brookes has one-of-a-kind dishes that are the best combination of tasty and healthy! Its so hard to find a place that offers a variety of choices for people with specific dietary concerns (i.e. vegan and gluten-free). This is not the cheapest restaurant in town, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality. Everything is made from scratch and while it may take a few minutes to prepare, its worth it. If you really think about it, a fast food value meal costs about $8 these days. Instead of filling your body with literal garbage, you can get a beautiful, nutritious meal here for only a few bucks more. Some of my favorites are the tacos, mardi gras salad, and the melt sandwich. The treats are delicious and made from clean ingredients (you wouldnt know it from tasting them). Im lucky to work nearby and visit on a regular basis. Chef Brooke is committed to keeping her kitchen and customers safe, currently offering contactless pickups only during the pandemic. Same great food! Keep frequenting this local gem. These are tough times and we NEED to keep good places like Chef Brookes around!

She’s great. The food’s great. I don’t even know what life was like before I discovered this place. It couldn’t have been more than a dark, empty void. I’ve lived all around the country and haven’t seen a place like this... She has multiple soups everyday!! Soups! In Florida! Prayers = Answered.

My first time here, liked the atmosphere. I got the vegan chili and grilled cheese. Really delicious, the sandwich was amazing! Will definitely be back, but not as quick as I would like because I live out of town. The only reason for the 4 stars is in reference to the price point of the meal.

Amazing food that you cant find anywhere else!

It has good food but the customer service the that the owner has is a no go. I have been here multiple times and yet she still gives people attitude for no apparent reason I feel like even though if you own your own place you still need to provide customer service because they are coming to you for your service in the end. With that being said I think that this is the last time that I am going to go over there. There are other places that have really good vegan food and they provide an exceptional customer service. Sadly Chef Brookes is off my list.

I ordered the salmon melt and it was absolutely delicious! Make sure to snag a serving of the homemade hot sauce, it is pretty bomb. All of the bakery items looked so delicious I couldnt resist leaving without one. I opted to try the sweet potato pie. It looks like a decadent fluffy potato oreo. It definitely did not disappoint. I will definitely be returning to try the Reuben next time.

Absolutely incredible!!! Nothing can compare to this food haven. Literally nothing...The freshness, the lightness, the taste.... Not only are the meals tasty and lovingly prepared but the baked goods are to die for!!! Don’t leave without baked goods... Even the environment is cozy and relaxing. Something truly special here.

Wow wow wow wow WOW. Hands down the best tacos I’ve had outside of Mexico City and totally vegan too! So much love, knowledge and passion is in Chef Brooke’s cooking and it shows. Every bite was an experience- a complete and total delight. The tempeh was magical. The service was so warm and wonderful. Fort Myers has a gem in Chef Brooke’s and, if you go, you’ll only regret not going sooner.

This food is so amazing! Have the blueberry muffin with lavender frosting. Worth every calorie. I dream about it when I am not on the gulf side of the state. Meals are so good! Light but filling, made fresh when you order. Not fast food - delicious food!

This is the second review I ever do, but I have to say that I’m completely disappointed in this cafe! Drove 40 minutes to try it out for us to just be completely ignored. The owner was at the register speaking to a male about Boston. The male then said he will go sit down since people were waiting to order. The owners response was what are they going to do? Fire me? I’ve been here for 10 year”Then just laughed. The man left away and the next one in line started a conversation as well. When it was finally our turn she just left . She never apologized for us waiting so long or said she needed to check the kitchen or anything . I decided not to give any business to this place and left. The total wait time was 28 minutes. Never again . I went Sunday November 25th at 3:32 pm.

Ordered some vegan gluten free cupcakes for a friends bday - chocolate cake with chocolate frosting - THEY WERE AMAZING! Would have no clue they were vegan and gluten free if I didnt already know. Owner was very accommodating with special request :)

The food was ok, but she was very rude for no reason. Id actually heard that she was temperamental but the food was worth it. So, I went in with a smile on my face and a pleasant attitude. The wait was long, but I didnt complain as I was expecting it. At first she was nice, but when she gave me my food and drink, she slammed it down in front of me and told me that she worked as fast as she could and that I should call in my order next time. Totally unnecessary and out of nowhere! I left confused by the interaction and Ill likely never be back.

Great food but the owner is either super nice or incredibly rude. It is totally hit or miss. However, for the area the food is REALLY good. That said, this place wouldnt be open in an area with heavy vegan competitiongiven the service issues (though the food could go head-to-head as it is really good). My suggestion: call ahead, get take out, and bite your tongue at the counter. The food is worth it.

Cozy little hole-in-the-wall on boy scout across from Sams side entrance, its owner Brooke is very laid-back and it reflects in the atmosphere.my friend and I go there as often as we can to have a smoothie (my favorite is a blend of aloe papaya ginger and pineapple) and sit and talk.Ive had her delicious squash and pastries which are all organic and gluten-free if that is an issue for you.Shes only open until 4 p.m. I highly urge you to stop by.

We love stopping here every time we are in Naples for vacation! It is definitely worth the drive. Incredible food, and delicious bakery items.

Stopped in first time was pleasantly greeted by chef and found an amazing variety of likeable foods we could eat. Tried the gluten free muffins delicious... soups and a veggie burger Reuben super yummy... going back for sure

The food here is TOO GOOD. This is one of the very few vegan cafes in fort Myers and it DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. The herb tempeh is awesome and the food here is made with much care. Definitely will be returning!!!

I have to live on a gluten free/dairy free diet, and sometimes it’s so hard to find places to eat especially when you’re traveling and not aware of what’s around! I found this little cafe on my “Find Me Gf” app! We visited here to kick start our vacation, and I’m so glad we did. We enjoyed our treats and delicious açaí bowls! Definitely a cute little cafe shop, and very friendly, welcoming environment. The foods was delicious!!

Yesterday was from first experience at Chef Brookes. It was absolutely delicious! Brooke was friendly and helpful. I had the raw tacos and I couldnt believe how good they were. I will definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious food. Our toddler literally cried when it was all gone. Brooke is very nice and accommodating - kept the restaurant open 30 minutes past closed for us so we could eat together as a family. Im sad that we live over the bridge from this amazing place but we will be back!

Went here for a business lunch and the place was packed for good reason, so one of the servers graciously set up another table for us in the back. After an explanation about the days menu we ordered. I had the vegan chili and the wild cod salad. Everything was very tasty and portions were great! Been looking for a healthier option and this is a great spot for it. Met Brooke on the way out and couldnt compliment her enough.

First visit had tofu scrambled melt & the wife had scrambled eggs taco. GREAT flavor! Definitely a go back to place

I have brought 3 different people there on 3 different occasions.Brookes has never disappointed us. My favorites are the Cream of mushroom soup and raw nuts over spring mix salad. I am diabetic so no sseets for me unless my sugar is low.. Love it. Love it. Love it!

I love this laid back spot with an amazing variety of food. Great spot to slow down and breathe. This is not fast food, so you could have to wait a bit since Chef Brooke makes everything herself.!smoothies are the bomb! The Godzilla is astounding and scrambled tofu melt hits the spot. Really good food...

Awesome food!! Chef Brooke was very nice to us and had everything prepared quickly. She also let us bring our dog as long as we sat outside. There are lots of vegan options (including raw) but you can also get meat if you want. She also has a lot of unique food items and different fresh pastries all the time. I have gone twice so far and will continue to come back. Thank you!

We go to chef Brookes constantly! Literally everything she makes is unbelievably delicious. Tempeh tacos and Ruben is amazing!!

What can I say about this establishment. The outward appearance is deceiving seeing as its in a strip mall location. We were greeted by the proprietor of the eatery with a warm smile and a subtle suggestion to sample her house made baked goods with our lunch. Our lunches were FANTASTIC! And her baked goods... to die for. All in all, this is an excellent lunch spot for those willing to pay a little extra for fantastic, fresh and satisfying fare.

Heaven on earth.Best coffee? Yup. Great breakfast tacos? Shes got em. Vegan no sugar added pastries? All day.Quality and love is what Brook has to offer. Come hungry. Leave happy and healthy.

Chef Brookes is an artist in the kitchen. Her hand crafted muffins, desserts and food plates are out of this world, so good. She has vegan and vegetarian options, gluten free and other allergy free options usually.
