Such a wonderful experience at urban mattress. My fiancé and I went in this evening and purchased a new mattress. Joel was fantastic - knew what he was talking about, very personable and not overly salesy. Urban mattress was our first and only stop on our search for a new mattress. Sure, we could’ve spent time shopping around all the other mattress stores and maybe found something we like just as much for a better price, but time is money, and we felt no need to shop around as the service we received was fantastic and the product is great. So relieved we were able to knock this out so quickly and feel confident in our purchase, as mattresses are a big and pricey decision. Highly recommend!

I broke my neck roller skiing and badly needed a new bed since I had to spend the entire night on my back--and I needed it in a hurry (which is hard to do right now).I worked with the owner Mark and he was amazing. I couldnt physically go into the store with my injury so he helped me find the perfect mattress over the phone, and patiently answered all my questions. He seemed genuinely concerned about me being able to get some good sleep to help with my recovery. And he reassured me that it I didnt love the mattress, we could swap it out.He knew I couldnt stand another night in my current bed, so the real customer service kicker came when he offered to provide me with a new temporary loaner bed for a handful of nights until my bed was delivered. Unreal!Ive bought two beds from different stores during my time here in Fort Collins, both were disappointing experiences and beds. Thats not the case with Urban Mattress. Support local and theyll support you!

Absolutely wonderful. Had been testing various mattresses for a bit, but laying on these made all the other brands feel like concrete. Joel and Colin took their time and helped us order exactly what we wanted. Joel took all the time needed to explain the differences and help with everything we needed. If you’re looking for an amazing bed, check them out! We tried all the supposed top of the line brands and they don’t come close to this place!

So impressed by the customer service! Wed been sporadically popping into mattress stores for a few months, not quite ready to make a purchase, but the short interaction we had with Joel, stuck out. The other mattress stores made me feel like a piece of meat in a shark tank. Not here. I felt very respected and it was a pleasurable experience. 9 Months after first visiting, we went back in and made a purchase. Ultimately, the split king wasnt right for us, but Mark and Joel helped make it right. We decided on another mattress (Dahlia) and couldnt be happier! Excellent quality to match the customer service. I also appreciated the follow-up calls to make sure everything was alright. Oh, and theres a CSU employee discount too! We will definitely be coming back here when its time to upgrade the guest bed.

Colin and Kaylen, the salespeople, were amazing! They were *honest*, patient [We were not the easiest people to deal with], worked with us, and knew everything about the products. The mattresses were excellent- they had a wide variety of mattresses made of different materials, not just memory foam and springs. 13/10, would recommend to everyone.So long as delivery goes well, I dont have a single thing I could complain about- such a relief after dealing with sleazy car-salesmen-type practices in other stores.

I truly cant speak highly enough of our experience at Urban Mattress. My wife and I were not the easiest customers, as we kept changing our minds about which mattress we wanted (I think in the end the delivery guys came to our house four times! Sorry guys). Through it all both Mark and Joel were INCREDIBLY accommodating and never made us feel the slightest bit bad about our indecision. And most importantly, the mattress we landed on is perfect! I had a great experience. I wanted to support a local business but I was looking for a quality mattress under $700. The person in store I worked with was great. Stayed socially distanced, directed me to try several mattresses. I eventually picked one out that would put me a little out of my price range, so she included the mattress frame for free to keep me under budget. It was very generous and nice. Delivery happened in under 10 minutes and so far Im pretty stoked.

Urban Mattress is the best mattress store! The owner goes above and beyond to provide the best possible customer service. We bought a super fantastic mattress, our second one from Urban mattress, but there was a delay in delivery because of a problem with manufacturing. So the owner sent two floor models for us as well as the adjustable base. Then we had the shut down from Corvid 19. Once things opened up again. the owner delivered our mattresses himself to get them here as quickly as possible! All of the staff of the Fort Collins Store are excellent and the products are awesome. We LOVE our bloom Zinnia split king and adjustable frame!!

Super mattress company! Its not always easy to choose the right mattress the first time around and, they understand that. Their customer service is outstanding. After a month, we needed to switch to a less firm option and they made the process easy. Great delivery crew as well. Its cool that these mattresses are locally made (Denver) and, a high quality product - beautiful mattresses. We needed an adjustable bed that would fit inside our existing frame and they had a platform that works beautifully. Couldnt recommend the Fort Collins store more.

My wife and I bought a king and queen mattress this week. Both gentlemen in the store one being the owner was very professional friendly! We where in the store for a couple hours never felt rushed or talked into a brand we didn’t want ! We are both excited about the mattress we picked and can’t say enough great things about the store ! We purchased our 2nd Urban Mattress this fall and I cannot say enough about how great they were to work with and the quality of these mattresses. We knew what we wanted, but live 3 hours away from the store. Mark and Joel handled everything over the phone for us and went above and beyond to deliver our mattress quickly and affordably. It was a pleasure working with them and theyre definitely my first choice when its time to upgrade the next mattress.

I purchased a mattress at the beginning of June to be delivered at the end of June. I had a good experience purchasing the actual mattress but when it came to delivery, I can not say the same. I arrived at the location where the mattress was being delivered early, as requested, and waited during the delivery window without hearing anything until 50 minutes before the end of the delivery window. I then received a phone call from the owner, Mark, informing me that my mattress was not going to be delivered until 2 plus hours later. No apology or explanation was offered as to why the mattress was not going to arrive during the pre-arranged delivery window. When Mark did arrive with my mattress, he was not wearing a mask nor offered to put on a mask while entering my home. I hate wearing masks as much as the next person, but I absolutely expect someone entering my home to be wearing a mask. I answered the door wearing a mask, in order to limit the spread of any potential germs I may have. A family member posted a review about the entire situation and was told that they were confusing Urban Mattress with another business and then their review disappeared. Essentially, the response to that review posted by Urban Mattress was stating that we were lying about what had occurred during the delivery of this mattress. This is the fourth mattress, my family has purchased from Urban Mattress in Fort Collins. But, do to the neglect for mine and my familys health, it may be the last. It is unfortunate that this happened, as we have been extremely satisfied with our mattresses.

I got tired of restless nights on my old king-size mattress. I knew I needed a new one, but also knew I could get taken advantage of by retailers. I checked out all of the brand-name stores and kept feeling like I was getting overcharged and the smarmy salesman run around. That’s when I decided to check out urban mattress. There are plenty of mattress stores with good quality beds. There is nobody that actually cares about their customers like they do. The level of detail they put into helping you out is incredible. At the end of the buying experience it felt like they were my new family.

My wife and I were looking to replace our mattress. We went to a few different places, and were so happy we purchased from Urban Mattress. We got a mattress that is made in Colorado (a major plus) and their Upton Plush is so so so comfortable. I LOVE heading to bed these days. Manufacturers would like you to believe you can order a vacuum packed piece of foam with two day delivery and call it a bed.. you can’t. Most comfortable mattress I’ve owned (Urban Mattress Dahlia). After shopping at a national competitor we decided on a purchase from Urban. Their product is truly unique and cutting edge. We also bought a pair of side sleeper pillows. Over priced? Probably. But with the guarantees and long warranty, were ok with that. Its also a local made in the U.S.A. company. We like to support local business. Kelly did an excellent job in showing the benefits of the 3 mattresses I was shopping for that day. It was a no pressure experience. Kelly explained the different benefits of firmness in mattresses. She had me lie on my side to test the different levels of firmness on my shoulders. I used to have a 10 year old pillow top mattress, I was sinking into, with my new mattress the Silver Queen Plush I am now sleeping above the mattress.I live out of state so Urban Mattress shipped my purchase to my house.

We recently purchased a king sized bed from urban mattress. We had heard from some friends that the mattress there were the best and they were right! As many know, mattress shopping is brutal. The salesmen at most stores constantly harangue you to buy more, buy now. Its hard when youre trying to find just the right mattress at a reasonable price. HOWEVER, this is not the case at Urban Mattress. We visited the showroom in Fort Collins several times as we looked at our options and our budget. They were always helpful and willing to answer questions when asked, but would otherwise let us do our own thing around the floor. It became a joke that we could see how many times we could visit before they asked us to buy something. Once we finally settled on a mattress and paid we set up our delivery and called it a day.From there, there was a small hiccup. The factory didnt get our specific mattress on the delivery truck in time to make our originally scheduled delivery. The owner of Urban Mattress called me personally to apologize and offered some different extras as well. From there, they were really communicative in making sure we know what the status was of our mattress and making sure we had a delivery time that worked for us and our family.As for the mattress itself, we managed to stay within our budget and we have a mattress thats substantially better than the one we replaced. I noticed the difference within days of sleeping on the new one. Their product appears to be vastly superior to the main brand ones (that all begin with S for some reason). I will be buying another mattress from these guys, but with the quality of the product it will be a long time from now.

We started by buying a mattress in a box, sooooo excited for it to arrive only to be sorely disappointed with what we got; now we have to wait 30 days before we can return it becausesleep trial. Instead of trying that again we decided to stop in to see what type of more natural mattress we could find and try locally. Well, we found an amazing mattress here. Im a softer side sleeper, wife and I both loved the Uptown Plush, enough to buy it on the spot for 3 times more than our first experience, but definitely worth it. Also, Terry MADE the experience. She was absolutely lovely to work with, no pressure and really helped make our time there very enjoyable - including the free beer! Highly recommend this place :)

Bought a mattress from this location, received A+ customer service, and two free premium pillows (like floating on a cloud), plus a nice discount overall. We returned tonight to buy some pillows for a Christmas present and yet again received great customer service and a GREAT deal. I love this store and will always go here for future purchases. I highly recommend Urban Mattress. They arent pushy like a lot of places so be open and honest about your budget and they will do what they can to work with you. In my experience, its rare to have sales people actually listen to you, but they totally do and they are super helpful.

Best place in Fort Collins to shop for and buy a mattress. Dale and Bruce are low key and knowledgeable. There is no pressure to buy or move up to a more expensive product. When I found the mattress I wanted there was no attempt to sell pillows or mattress covers. Delivery occurred the next day (!) with Bruce, the owner taking away the old mattress and putting the new one on the frame. The fact that a percentage of the profit goes to a local nonprofit is an indication of the companys commitment to Fort Collins. Finally, you wont see any two-page newspaper ads or expensive TV commercials for Urban Mattress--which adds to the cost of mattresses at other stores. I dont like paying for the commercials for the products I buy.

My husband and I were recently searching for a new mattress and landed at Urban Mattress due to the great online reviews. Miles was our salesperson, and he did a great job of showing us the range of products, listening to our various needs, and helping us to take our time trying out the wares (not an easy feat, as we had our 3 year old son with us, who Miles helped entertain while we lounged). We have been sleeping on our Urban Mattress brand mattress for over a month now, and I am in love, as is my husband! Delivery was fast, friendly and easy. If you can swing it, I couldn’t recommend Urban Mattress more…it costs a little more, but was fuss-free, customer service was exemplary, and our mattress came with a solid, long-term warranty.

Found an incredible mattress and got to try a new local craft beer on tap while trying out all the options. To top it off, we spent an extra 30 minutes talking with the owner about life and it was great. Great people and are doing great things. Bruce and his store provided the best mattress buying experience Ive ever had. We went in knowing kind of what we wanted and he was great at helping us make the best decision without trying to upsell us into a bed we couldnt afford. The customer service really is second to none. We came into the store about 30 minutes before closing and ended up purchasing a mattress right around the time the store was supposed to close. Great experience! Kelly was very nice and didnt try to up sell us something we didnt need. She asked about what we already had, what we were looking for and gave us multiple options to look at in our price range. In addition to this the free delivery of the new mattress and take away of the old one is a nice bonus. As if this isnt enough they also donate a portion of the sale to a local charity of your choice (you choose from a selection of five). Based on the experience I had I would definitely recommend them if a new mattress is something you are looking for.

I bought a mattress from them two years ago and they were great! They were super knowledgeable about all their stock and helped me tremendously with picking one out. About 2 months ago, I went through the process of claiming a manufacturers defect warranty and they were super helpful. Though working with the manufacturer was a nightmare, Urban Mattress was like a dream come true with offering free delivery for me and taking away the defective mattress. Ive also purchased the best pillow I think Ive ever put my head on. This place is amazing and so are all the people who work there!

Got a mattress here about a year ago. Its been the most comfortable one Ive ever owned. The guy who sold it to me was about the most friendly guy Ive ever met.

We had a great experience at Urban Mattress! After briefly reviewing the website, we assumed nothing in this store would be in our price range and my grumpier half didnt event want to bother going into the store, but I am so glad I convinced him! The King mattress they had in our price range was much nicer than those of the same price at the Mattress Firm down the street - and unlike Mattress Firm, the wonderful staff at Urban Mattress didnt try and upsell us. Plus, they offer free shipping and a percentage of sales benefits deserving local nonprofits. I am SO EXCITED for our new mattress to be delivered! I highly recommend them, whether you are looking for a super-comfy yet affordable mattress or one of the fancy and amazing ones I am still just dreaming about.

My boyfriend and I went in looking for a bigger bed. Judy was extremely helpful in helping us find the right bed and within our budget! The vibe is relaxing, no pressure, we laid on the beds at LEAST 15 min a piece before deciding on a purchase and they encouraged it. It was a no rush process that didnt damage the pocketbook! To boot 2% of my purchase went to a local charity of my choice! Way to give back and thanks for your help!

We purchased a mattress set over a year ago, and the level of service from Urban Mattress is still firmly etched in my memory.From the low-pressure sales approach to their efficient and timely delivery, everything went smoothly. In our case that meant going the extra mile on their part. When they discovered the model we purchased was not available at the warehouse for delivery on the appointed date, they asked if they could substitute a more expensive set for a few days until ours became available. Thats a far cry from the typical expectation that one would just have to wait a few extra days. Impressive.

I just purchased my first mattress from Urban Mattress in Fort Collins. They were so helpful and knowledgeable. They were also extremely nice and love working with college students which is a plus because not all businesses do. They also have beer on tap. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

Urban Mattress saved my relationship!! I had to work super early this week, so my boyfriend slept in the spare room and complained that the foundation/box spring was making it hard to sleep. For weeks we have been researching and shopping for a box spring with no results. I finally had enough today and decided it was time to make a decision and stopped in. Kelly was super nice and helped me to get a box spring delivered today before my boyfriend comes home from work. Hes gonna be so happy!

Bought 3 mattresses here after visiting the competition. Sales are honest and low key. Atmosphere is open and friendly. They focus on what you need and are flexible about giving you a loaner mattress until the one you want arrives.

Kelly was a very informative and fun person to work with. We returned to buy our second mattress because her husband, who sold the first one to us, was as well. This is a team that enjoys what they do, have great products in the store and donate back into the community! We returned because we know they care.

I wanted my product on a day when their delivery crew was off... so one of their employees, Hassan, drove over to the warehouse and picked it up for me. This was by far the best service I have ever received from a retailer. We arrived in Fort Collins on a Saturday from out of state in need of a bed and by Sunday we were sleeping on our new bed. Was thinking of buying a matress from here, but no longer. Tried to buy sheets, they charged me 100.00 more than on line pricing. Then they seemingly did not place the order. I had to call them to check on it was told it would go out the following Monday, order clearly just pulled via the call. Tried to say back ordered but the company said they are available with no wait period. Trying to support local business but too much work. The associate said he would email tracking. Not a call or email and had to call again. Same associate acts like not familiar with the situation or the order and said he was off and so this was not done. Said will try and call the company but not guaranteed any communication or tracking the following day. Really? This is for sheets that could have been ordered on line and to my home weeks ago, without all this. This is why people order on line and not from stores like this. Very disappointed and will not pursue buying a mattress here they cant take care of simple orders. Beware, if you have any issue with your mattress, they will not have any urgency or remember you. You will go to the back of the line.

Our new mattress is great! We payed a little over our price limit, but when you consider that the mattress is from a family owned company who use sustainable business practices, as well as the 2% of what we payed going to charity, we thought it was a pretty good deal. I also like that Urban Mattress is a family owned, local business. Overall, were very glad we chose our mattress here.

I was initially weary of going to this store, thinking the different brands and a local store would be out of our price range. I am so glad I checked it out! This was the best mattress shopping experience ever. We had been to several stores where the sales people were either not helpful or the mattresses we ended up liking were way above our price range and just ok. When we walked in to the store we told Kelly our problem (I wanted a firm mattress, husband likes soft) and the first mattress she had us try ended up being the one we bought (for a thousand less than the one we liked ok at Denver Mattress). I have been calling her the mattress whisperer since our first visit. She had us lay for quite a while on all the mattresses we tried and then a half hour on the one we liked best. She was knowledgeable and helpful, but didnt pressure us at all. When I went back to purchase the mattress after finding our bed frame, I also bought one of their super soft Kapok pillows. After telling Bruce my husband and I are teachers, he threw in an extra free pillow to thank us. Wow! What a great experience, from start to finish!

Urban Mattress ran adverting in our magazine Fort Collins Magazine in 2015 and 2016. They bought four ads and was given a fifth ad for free. Invoice 20151183 for $1,415 for his 4th ad still has not been paid, but we did run his 5th ad for free. Poor management and business practices. They used our services and did not pay for it.

I just got an ecofriendly mattress from Urban Mattress. I am very pleased with it, and honestly look forward to sleeping on it each day. Its got a perfect combination of cushiness and firmness. This store was by far the best one while I was looking for a new mattress. Hasan was a great help and answered all my questions very well. I never felt like I was being conned into a mattress that I didnt want.

We cannot praise this business enough. We came in for pillows with our 3 month old son and left with a desperately needed mattress. These women were so incredibly kind to us and were SO understanding of the discomfort of sleeping on an ancient mattress while cosleeping. (EEK!) They helped us find something that was within OUR price range and didnt try and get us to buy something that we didnt need or couldnt afford. They treated us like old friends and even held the baby so we could try out a few pillows and mattresses. We are eternally grateful for their hospitality, kindness, generosity, and God-filled joy that we really needed at such a hard time in our lives.
