I was able to go in same day and leave with the mattress I wanted. I actually tested it out and felt it wasn’t the one after a few weeks. I was able to return it hassle-free and get the one that better suited me. Everyone I spoke with had a ton of information and the whole process was easy and simple.

Deliveted my furniture assembled and took great care to make sure it was protected. They even applied felt pads to the furniture to protect my flooring. Its those small considerations that made this experience even better. I ordered and had deliveries before with AFW and always had a positive experience. The gentleman who took my order, Randy R, was pleasant as well!

Cheap furniture. Very poor customer service. Bought a recliner fir my uncle who is disabled and within a few months screws literally were breaking in half. They came to fix it and within a month it broke again. They wouldnt fix it or replace it. They said theyd do a $50 store credit. It was a $400 recliner that was defective from the start. I recommend furniture row. Ill never buy from AFW again!

I love AFW! I buy most of my furniture from Jake Jabs . Its a great store to walk around in and get great ideas for your own home decorating. I love how they feature local artists for their wall pictures. You can even pick up a stuffed animal or two.
I purchased 2 Italian leather couches from Cathy @ the Ft Collins store. She was awesome to work with and Ill definitely make sure shes our salesperson in the future! Aaron & Jeremy were very efficient & friendly when they delivered our couches! I did have to wait almost 2 months for them to come in. Overall it was a great buying experience!

This place is great, they have a lot of decent furniture at reasonable prices. My only complaint is they gave us the wrong color dresser at pick up (minus 1 star). The dresser was heavy and by the time I got it up 3 flights of stairs and opened to see the color ..... it didnt feel worth it to pack it up and lug it back down so I could get the brown one I ordered instead of the white one I got. Great place though, dont trust the freight people to bring you the right thing though, double check it all before leaving.

They asked if we needed help, told the salesperson we were looking. We were left alone but felt we could ask them questions if needed.. Took pictures of some couches and recliners. Wasnt crazy about their dining tables. So many showed scratches and dings. It made me wonder about the quality. Have a lot of pictures to show husband tonight. This place has lots of really nicely priced furniture. I was impressed with the selection they had. Sadly, we paid extra to have a bed delivered over a weekend. (We just got a place and didn’t have a bed.) Anyway, my couch and chair came, but no bed. They never told me my bed was back ordered. So I call up customer service and they tell me the drawers under the bed are back ordered but the bed itself isn’t. How odd! Anyway, they told me I could get the bed without the drawers so I had the bed delivered a few days later. Once I got the bed, it had a chip of wood out of it and the USB charger ports didn’t work. So now I’m mad! I drove up to Fort Collins and visited the store. I was told now that my head board is back ordered! Long story short I have the head board on back order, the drawers are still on backorder and I’m not happy. My other furniture does look nice. The bed though, makes me never want to deal with them again.
Will never return to this store again. Ive bought almost all my furniture here in the past, and planned on doing so again. I didnt mind that Id need to wait 4-5 weeks to get the furniture I was ordering, because of the shortages. I tried signing up for a new line of credit with a sales associate who put in my information in incorrectly and was promptly denied for the card. Confused I went to my car to check my score and came back to ask the front desk on their requirements for the card. The lady at the express checkout was extremely rude and unhelpful and told me that I need to contact Wells Fargo because I probably have a bad credit score. My score is in the high 700s.
We have purchased a handful of items here but this last time was such a disaster I will not be returning!!! Bought a couch, wasn’t even same color as in the store, the delivery guy was so fast, scraped all along side out front door, took some of the frame off, I called almost every day ( renters & moving) and I didn’t get a return call till 29 days later!! Lavina the manager - never called me back, had no idea what was going on said she didn’t know anything when I had left Multiple messages and customer service said she’d call me back after speaking with her. Such a head ache and frustrating. What happened to good service?!

DONT TRUST THE ORDER SCHEDULE THEY TELL YOU! Purchased a couch that was supposed to be in within two weeks. Kept calling to check on the order and it was pushed back every time and now three months later they still have not delivered! They for sure knew it would not come in within two weeks but just wanted the sale. Bad customer service with the whole process as well, cant trust these people. Will never buy anything here again. Horrible experience!!!
I had an awful experience with American furniture. I had to order 2 different couches and the first I never got but had fallen in love with, the second I chose because it was in stock and guaranteed and it got delivered but was missing part of the couch. I got hung up on 4 times trying to get the rest of my couch and one person told me I should get a refund and take my business elsewhere. Highly do NOT recommend. I will not be buying furniture from them again. If I could do a 0 star rating I would but I cant because it wouldnt allow me to make a post.
They’ll never get another dime out of me. After less than a year, one couch cushion was threadbare. AFW wouldn’t stand behind it. They said it wasn’t a manufacturing defect. This lead me to the conclusion that it was designed to fall apart. Now three of the legs are cracked. Another chair that was purchased at the same time has all of the staples/tacks coming out of the back. Not impressed at all.EDIT/ResponseNo you may not. I’ve sent pictures and your team came out to the house and took their own pictures. I’ve wasted enough time dealing with your customer service people. As I’ve said, you have gotten your last dime out me and I hope I can persuade others not to make the same mistake I did.
Bought a bedroom set. Had it three weeks before the mattress formed a huge lump in the middle. The table we bought for the front room is unstable no matter how many times I tighten it. I would definitely spend my money elsewhere. Tho the customer service is good, products are very poorly made. It’s like you’re buying Walmart or IKEA products. AVOID!
Bought a Samsung TV from them and within two weeks the TV had issues tried to resolve it with the store since it was than 2 weeks old bought they would not do anything for me. I had to follow up with Samsung for the warranty issue. It’s been three days and I still have not got a technician to call me back to set up an appointment. For a company as large as American Furniture you would think they could handle there own returns and warranty issues for but they definitely over promise and way under deliver! I will never spend another dime at this retailer and don’t recommend it to anyone. The owners name isn’t Jake Jabs for nothing!
Our sales rep, AJ, was wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, resourceful, and was zero pressure. He helped us narrow down our choices by giving us information on each product. Our items were on back order and he called weekly to give updates and followed through after each delivery to make sure our items were delivered in good condition and we were happy. I was a little disappointed at first because the couch we wanted was on back ordered and so was our 2nd choice. Mandi took me around the store to look at options and was really supportive of things I didn’t like and helped me to find something I loved that was in stock. We got the couch delivered 2 days later and they were very professional and in-and-out in the matter of 15 minuets. We are very happy with our purchase!

Sales guy was helpful and it was easy and quick to finance and choose some furniture we desperately needed. The delivery man was, however, the most incompetant human being Ive ever had the displeasure of working with. He flat out refused to take the couch off the truck and even try to get in our place. It was just my wife home and I was on the phone, I insisted that I measured it and that it would absolutely fit. He argued and in the end would not even try. So he drove off without delivering the couch we bought. I had to get it redelivered a few days later, have dude leave it on the sidewalk then hire someone else to move it in. Guess what? It fit with ease. Took the guys like 45 seconds total to get it in and set up. The AFW delivery guy honestly should find a new gig as he is unquestionably not cut out for his current job.

Delivery man was horrible, went upstairs with bed rails. Said furniture won’t fit. When I asked him to wear a mask because I was going to have surgery the next day and didn’t want to take any chances. He freaked out thinking I had Covid, refused to deliver our stuff and put it in the driveway. It was an unnecessary ordeal that even management hasn’t resolved, still have not received our delivery refund for the hassles and the dresser we ordered had a whole size of quarter in the second drawer and the bottom panel fell out of another when we opened it. Bedroom set had chipped paint on footboard. It’s definitely not worth the money we paid to go through all the hassles. Horrible customer service. After reading others reviews it sounds like we have had the same delivery guy but he used Covid as an excuse to not work because the furniture heavy and he didn’t want to take it upstairs. Will not be back!!

Well, while the gentleman I last spoke with was kind and helpful I will still give a one star for my overall experience. You phone CSRs gave me improper information multiple times. My in store sales rep didn’t communicate with me at all about my product and delays. I could care less if she was new or not. She was a grown woman and follow ups/ updates are simple to follow. I had to call 7 times for 7 different updates. The last gentleman I spoke with hung up on me and spoke to me rudely. He mentioned multiple times that he can listen to the calls. I encouraged him to as all the info I am reiterating is in the calls. I also never yell at anyone in customer service. I just express my concerns in a respectable way in hopes of a proper resolution or incentive for the multiple issues. I did finally get my piece of furniture. While the functionality is there, it looks like it is for a different set in terms of look and pillows dimensions. But I won’t wait another eternity for the chaise. I am sure this review will go unnoticed as did my concerns in the end. You’re a massive company and we all know once you get big like this, the care goes away. I’ve seen a common trend of one star reviews so here is one more. Feel free to reach out and I’ll consider removing the review only because of the help the last in store sales rep gave me. I am sure it’s logged.

Nice selection but the quality of the stock is not what it used to be. They are clearly focused on keeping cost down rather than selling quality furniture. We went for dressers and wanted something sturdy that would last in a kids room. We ended up in a resale shop instead where we found sturdy solid wood pieces for half of the price.

I ordered a chair to be picked up from the Firestone store 30 miles from my home because my spouse has a truck and works in that area. Although it asks you to add specific information if someone other than you is picking up the furniture, they WILL NOT allow that named person the pick up furniture without YOUR credit/debit card. Even after calling the store and speaking with customer service, with addresses matching with identification, I was unable to have this item picked up. So sadly, should someone want to purchase a gift of furniture for someone, you would not be able to support American Furniture Warehouse as a business as they will not allow anyone other than YOU or said person in possession of YOUR personal card information, to retrieve the items ordered. Very disappointed.UPDATE in response; It does state that if you are having someone else pick up the item, to list information of that person. It does not state that items will not be able to be picked up if they do not have the credit card. Web instructions and guidelines are very poor in making this a KNOWN fact to your consumers.
I hate leaving bad reviews, but I have to say that my boyfriend and I had a terrible time with this place. We bought our couch on March 29th and were told it would be here April 14th; it still hasnt come and its June 1st. Weve also called and have kept getting told different dates or that it would be here in a couple weeks, but it still hasnt arrived. When we called and asked if it was there(bc we were told it would be there by yesterday), the woman told my bf he was a liar and that they didnt give dates there. Honestly, really disappointed and will not come back here in the future.Update: We ended up canceling our order and got a couch yesterday. We brought the couch home last night. I understand that they cannot control the shipping 100%, but dont give customers a date for a sale if its not going to be there(this happened more than once).

To claim such a low star, is not a normal for me. I looked online at AFW for a month before I bought. I spent a few thousand dollars furnishing my new apartment.The staff are great helpful and friendly.The stores are clean and shiny.The furniture is junk.I was so happy to be able to buy this entire apartment full of furniture.I wasnt expecting the furniture to be ruined in 2.5 years from delivery. I thought my money was going to be well spent. Boy was I wrong.This review is 2.5 years after I spent a few thousand at AFW. Every single bit of the furniture has broken.Couch broke first and happened in the first year. Replaced with used furniture that was better quality.The dresser literally is falling apart. (Took video but I cant post it here)My bed, the drawer underneath (see photo) wont stay closed anymore because the slide track wasnt put together correctly by afws delivery team, and now has broken.My mattress (memory foam) has already worn down in the spot I sleep in.My sons bed broke completely and the frame has been replaced.The side tables, the wood is bubbling (see photo) because a drink was left on it. Not even real wood does that. Of course the drink being left is not the fault of AFW, but it does speak to the low quality of their furniture.We have not moved. Yet this furniture is worse than furniture that is constantly moved and damaged.The wall hangings, decorations and lamps ARE GOOD, but every single piece of furniture is literal garbage.I do not recommend American Furniture Warehouse. Your money is not well spent here.Basicly this furniture looks good at the store, but its garbage in the long run.Save your money shop elsewhere.

Really frustrated because every person i called gave me a different estimate on when the bed would arrive. I ended up driving to firestone to pick it up. The customer service at the checkout is bad. Overall, this afw is much worse than other ones. My guess is nobody cares to fix the problems either. Maybe i should talk with corporate and see what they think.
From the first day to delivery day every employee was polite and catered to our needs and wants! Ft. Collins Store was the absolute best. And the guys at delivery helped with lifting and moving what I needed. I’ll will always buy for AFW!! #acustomerforlife!

I’m not sure where to begin, other than to say we bought furniture from this business in July and it is now mid-November and we still don’t have it. Several scheduled delivery days have gone unfulfilled. Yesterday, finally, we were scheduled for delivery sometime between 1-4 in the afternoon. My wife was home throughout that entire time, when supposedly they came to finally deliver our furniture from the purchase we made four months ago. The delivery people did not ring doorbell, nor call. They came and left our house without our even knowing, and we still don’t have our furniture. When my wife called to find out what happened, they blamed her. I just don’t understand how we could be in the wrong when we simply made the mistake of choosing their store for our furniture purchase, paid them several hundred dollars, plus another charge for the delivery, and still don’t have any furniture four months after the purchase. This is the first negative review online I’ve ever left for any business, but this has been such a remarkably terrible customer service experience that I feel compelled to warn others so that they may avoid our nightmare. Stay away from this business.
My Sister bought me a new couch in January as I needed a new one & after having surgery I needed something comfortable to sit on. AFW was decent enough to replace the couch twice but even the 3rd couch is very uncomfortable & cheaply made. It’s Ashley Furniture. I have contacted them & I guess they’re done dealing with me. They haven’t returned my calls. I was gonna go in & buy a recliner but I think I’ll go elsewhere. Thanks AFW for nothing.

I want to give a huge shout out to AFW for great customer service. In particular, I would like to give a huge shout out to Mr. Mike Pierce. Mike works in the back of the house handling repairs. I was in need of a replacement leg for my bed. I was informed that my bed was discontinued two years ago. However, Mr. Pierce was on site and assured me that he would be able to fabricate the leg for me. Within four days I had a new replacement leg for my bed. He did such a great job and I am thrilled with the quality that was presented. This may not be your typical review, but I am extremely happy with my experience. I hope Mike gets the credit that he is well deserving of. He truly made my experience a five out of five stars. Thanks AFW!
1st person to help me was not all that good. When it came to picking up my piece of furniture They brought me out what I thought was a mistake in my order, upon looking at it she charged me for the wrong thing. There was a salesman back there by the dock who took me in right away corrected it and they were very good about loading the correct order very quickly.

Nothing is in stock on the website. I want to purchase a coffee table but everything says out of stock. Either this is a glitch with the website or there really is no stock and you guys are missing out on some sales because I’m going to order from another company online now and I’m sure a lot of other customers are doing the same.

Purchased a power reclining sofa with 3 power recliners 6 months ago and have been having trouble with one making noise. Spoke to a person at the Ft. Collins store where we purchased it and he said to lubricate the leather. That did not solve the problem, so set up an appointment for March 6th. A few days later, the recliner stopped working, so I called again, this time very upset and left them a not too pleasant message. A word to others, when you do this apparently they retaliate and move your appointment. When they did not show up on the 6th, I again called and spoke to a Manager, and he said that the appointment had changed to the 13th. Now, with the snow coming on Saturday, it probably will be changed again. We have been loyal customers for American Furniture for approximately 30 years. This is how their loyal customers are treated.
Update: appreciate the response from AFW but my receipt says “Right arm facing sofa” for the price of the entire sofa. This wasn’t an issue when ordering this was an issue in however she entered it on your systems. Last time I checked you don’t get charged separately to get an entire sectional.Ordered a sectional in January and have waited until now to receive but I understood it was because Covid and backorders. The salesperson Jessica called to inform me both pieces of the couch finally arrived, it comes to delivery time which I had to clear my day for (she told me my delivery window was 7A-7P when that is not true they give you your actual window of a few hours). Delivery was great except there was the chaise missing from my sectional. Called all around to figure out what happened and it turns out the salesperson did not “key in” the second part of the sofa into my order. Meaning the chaise hadn’t even been ordered yet and I would once again be placed on a back order list. Completely unacceptable for a salesperson not to know how to make a sale. I see an increasing amount of 1 star reviews, perhaps have some stricter hiring standards. Requested a refund and for the half of the sofa to be picked up ASAP.
We were told when we bought this couch that it was estimated to be between August 12-15. It’s almost October our sales man said he would keep us updated throughout and hasn’t called us once. I’ve called 3-4 times and every time they push it back another half a month to a month. They obviously don’t know what the word estimated means because if it was estimated it would of been between a certain amount of time not pushing it back and using the word. They are pulling dates out of there butt and wont give us a specific month. They say half the couch in since the very beginning! How the hell do you have only half the couch and we’ve been waiting 4 months for the other half it’s bull. After we may receive the couch we will not ever be purchasing from them again.
Bought a entire living room set (sofa, love seat, coffee table, two end tables, and a rug) on July 21st. We were needing it for family coming in and with COVID we understood things were back ordered and were told it would be the mid August. Then we call to check the status and they say end of August. Then we call again today and they say they have everything except the sofa and to expect it by end of September. My fear is the sofa will not be here until after Christmas at this rate.I understand it’s not the associates fault but setting correct expectations is key. Also like other posts. There is no remedies for this, just sit and wait for the order or cancel. So if you plan on buying just tack on an extra month or two.
Just had my new livingroom set and rug delivered and it is perfect! They were very helpful in the store and got this delivered to me in 2 days! Excellent quality and service for the prices.
Had a good experience with the representative who spent quite a bit of his morning helping me find a new couch, coffee table, and bed frame. I found the prices to also be really reasonable. I am frustrated by the inflexible delivery window and hope the policy changes in the future.

The shopping experience was very pleasant and I finally have the 2 tables I ordered in acceptable condition. However, I would definitely think twice about returning to AFW after having to exchange a damaged end table twice which was a frustrating and time-consuming process. The stain color on the damaged tables also did not match the Parota floor model at the warehouse. I consider myself fortunate that the final end table was a good match. My cocktail table also has a blue paint streak on the lower shelf and one of the drawers does not close completely flush with the table. But it did not seem worth it to me to play phone tag with customer service yet again to try to resolve these issues. I will just say buyer beware...unless you are buying very basic furniture from AFW, you may want to take your business elsewhere!

Big shout-out to Kathy Gurule at the Fort Collins AFW location. She was amazing yesterday as she helped up put together furniture arrangements for two rooms in our basement remodel. She was friendly, knowledgeable and knew just where to direct us in the store when I described what I was looking for. The store was busy, but she didnt make us feel rushed. She went the extra mile to give us a great experience. Weve purchased from AFW several times since moving to Colorado and found great furniture that lasts. Getting great customer service is the icing on the cake. Thanks, Kathy!
