This place is off the beaten path from downtown Fort Collins shopping, but YOU GOTTA GO! Tons of home decor items that you cant find anywhere else, GORGEOUS Christmas display, and its probably one of the best gift stores in all of Colorado! Absolutely 5 stars!!

Wow! This is one of those places whose flower arrangements, soft scent, and glowing lifts make you pause as you walk by. A knick knack,, gardening gift shop right? Every town has at least one. You wonder, should I go in?. Normally I keep walking but this time my mom pulled me in. And Im glad. The place is full of warm cozy everything for your home, heart and family. There is to much to describe so Ill just say, next time you walk by it, pause, take a breathe, step inside and surrender to the enchantment.

The Perennial Gardener & its sister store, Sense of Place, are a treasure trove of unique one of a kind items. The Perennial Gardener, as it name would imply, has many decorative & practical items relating to gardening & nature. There are whimsical birdhouses, interior & exterior fountains, gardening tools & gloves, along with innumerable other decorative items. At the back of both stores is a common courtyard crammed full of outdoor items including statuary, benches, & wind spinners.Sense of Place is more focused on interior decor, jewelry, clothing items, lamps & pictures. Whenever I am shopping for a gift, I am sure to find many special items suitable for a wide range of tastes.Both stores are transformed during the holiday season with beautifully decorated Christmas trees & seasonal decor and gifts. These two stores are a charming shopping experience for Fort Collins residents and visitors alike.

Best shopping day ever along with the best service! Even though the store was packed Rachel took her time with us. She even helped carry our paintings to our car over 4 blocks away! We will be back!

We LOVED this store! If you are close to Ft Collins make a trip here; I guarentee you will find many perfect things to give or keep and the people who work here are super friendly too. We bought a yin and yang sand garden on our way to national parks. A perfect souvenir of our trip.

Great little gift shop. Many items not usually found in gift shops. Was with 10 yr old granddaughter. We had a great time looking around. She got a card for her mother that was handmade by a local artist. I recommend visiting this shop. Owner was cashiering. She was friendly and fast and knew about everything she had in her shop.

What a cozy and warm shop. The atmosphere is busy with all sorts of decorations. Always fun to visit and see what new niche items they have.

An Old Town institution. I dont think a holiday season has ever gone by where I didnt get Christmas gifts for people from here. However Spring/Summer is the best time to shop here their garden sculptures/ bird houses etc. selection is unmatched!

Best little shop in Fort Collins! A little bit of everything, unique and beautifully presented. Come if youre visiting and bring your guests if you live here. There is something for everyone, pretty good prices, too. Shout out to the entire staff, they are friendly and helpful.

Great staff. They care about their customers. A few weeks ago when I was at the Gardener, I broke a few items, and then was told by the manager that accidents happen. I will be much more careful next time and will definitely be shopping there again. This is a great example of how stores should care about their customers.

If you need something for someone this is the place. They have lots of cool stuff. Dont forget to go in the back yard.

I love to loose myself in this little shop of treasures around every corner and over every rock. In fact, the rock may be just the treasure you didnt know you needed until that very moment!!! Dangerous place...

Perennial Gardener has been my familys favorite store downtown for generations but the past couple of times I have felt personally victimized. There must be a lot of theft in the store because I come in with my child and a stroller and feel like I am being watched like a hawk and cannot enjoy my mommy time out. I have never stolen anything in my life and the most recent time the employee knew every single item that I picked up which did not make me feel good and ruined my experience! I most likely will not be back.Hello Jennifer,Thank you for your reply. I was not offered a basket until the end of my shopping experience. I asked her to please take the items that I ended up purchasing up front because holding a basket and pushing a stroller would be very difficult since I was by myself. It did make me feel very uncomfortable when she asked later on where two of the items were that I had picked up and set aside because I decided not to purchase those items. It would be great if you could please talk to your staff to make this a more enjoyable shopping experience for future customers.Thank you,Mariah

Very unique, one of a kind!

This place is my go to for gift shopping. They have a little bit of everything from fountains to fairies, books to jewelry and larger more expensive items to small candles, soaps and such. You can find something for just about any one here or next door at the attached Sense of Place. I did most of my Christmas shopping here and my gifts are well loved.

Great shop to explore through including decor, fun gifts, gardening supplies, and anything else trinkety. Defibitely worth stopping through when walking downtown and is a very large shop shop takes a bit to get through. Check out the gardening section out back.
