Magpies is magical. Amy is so positive and bubbly. She engages with every customer in real and loving conversations and makes you feel like a valued friend. The store always has treasures to gift or bring home. I also love the Nest - where you can find 2nd hand craft treasures. They have a little bit of everything. The store is so beautifully set up, Magpies invites you walk around again and again enjoying the beauty and warmth.

Besides being a sweet & unique boutique- Magpies is an artist’s workshop and a vintage treasure trove! It is a place where people can come and create with a community of creators!Warm and welcoming energy invites you into a fabulous gal’s dream nook! Magpies is a special place and my go-to shopping spot when I’m seeking a unique gift for a loved one. There are always new items in the store and the prices are very reasonable. The displays in the shop and the Nest are so cute and inspire me to go home and curate some of my own favorite finds into fun arrangements. I’ve also enjoyed the art classes I’ve attended in the studio. The sessions never feel rushed and there is plenty of space and generous supply of materials to be creative. For the price of a class I have a fun night out and a beautiful take-home piece! Amy is so supportive of everyone’s different artistic styles. Each person created such a unique final piece!

Magpies is a one-of-a-kind “store” well worth sharing with others. I put the word store in quotes because it is so much more than merely a store. Yes, its true you can find and buy many of the types of decorating and furnishing items you have craved while watching HGTV. You can also find special supplies for DIY projects to make your own distinctive additions to home decor. Moreover, the engaging people at Magpies are eager to teach you how to do those DIY projects. In fact, they may well invite you to do it in their space. Yet, this is only part of what Magpies is all about. You will see that Magpies is about camaraderie and providing a Cheers-like” atmosphere for people to gather, chat, and create. I am so happy to have discovered this wonderful shop and its creative owner!

I simply love this place! The staff is very friendly, and for me, its a must-go-to shop for gift buying. (I am not artsy, so I havent attended any of their arts and crafts classes, but I know they have them there.)
