As a single woman, I love that when I walk in Im asked if I need help and I get it. Whereas, I could be walking around a big box store looking for help forever.

Support this local store. I stopped in today for the first time and received excellent customer service. I also get the impression these folks value freedom a lot more than any of the big corporate options that have destroyed untold thousands of small businesses.

Several months ago sent a nail gun in to get repaired. They sent it out for me. Then a few months went by they said they had no record of them having my nail gun. I provided the date my employee dropped it off we also have gps while he is on the clock proving he was there that day. They ended up giving us a new nail gun Bc of this. They don’t give you anything proving they have in there position. Then today we dropped another tool off we purchased from them to get repaired and they will not do it for us since they lost a tool of ours before. They never admitted they made a mistake before they said they’ve never lost a tool before. So I guess they are perfect. So they provide that service for other customers but not for us Bc they lost a tool previously now they refuse to provide us a service others get that. Was trying to not go to a big box store for more of my tool purchases but won’t buy from them again. Always had a good experience up until these two incidents.

I bought furnace filters there. The store was clean and the staff was very courteous and polite. The pricing on the furnace filters was a fraction of the cost than the filters at Loews.

This place makes Fastenal look like the hardware aisle at Walmart. Its not Home Depot, but its not supposed to be. There is no better place for hardware or fasteners, thats for certain. They also have an unmatched selection of high-end hand tools.

I started wondering why I would go to Lowes or Home Depot, when I have a nice hardware store close to home. I hadh been there a few times and always came away with what I needed.Today I walked in with my reciprocal saw in hand. I needed someone to show me how to replace the saw blade. Carl stepped up and showed me how easy it is. (thank you so much, Carl- !) He also got replacement blades for the reciprocal saw AND my jigsaw that I asked for. He gave me some pointers on the project Im working on as well as maintaining my saws.Im sure at some point Ill need to go to one of the other stores, but my first stop will be Florence Hardware. Very friendly, helpful and professional.

No respect for the virus or customers. Only teenage cashier wore a mask. Unmasked employee gave the impression she was helping us then started to help someone else... what a joke. Also, store was torn up with empty shelves but garbage in walkways. Ace will continue to get my business.

Florence Hardware is the place to come when you are about out of answers. They have a seasoned staff of professionals that can help you out with most any project. The prices are fair. The store although not super large is full of diverse and useful products. When you grow tired of their big competitors with plenty of product and no one to advice you then stop by here and talk to folks that know! As Always, Enjoy!

Terrible service, rude. Every time I go in and just ask to be pointed in the right direction they treat me as if Im an idiot. If I ask nicely for something and I know the name of exactly what it is, the man thats always there acts like Im asking if he can help me with find something from the depths of hell.All in all the selection is OK, but the people who work there ultimately just do not care about their customers and are just rude every time. Wouldnt recommend this place unless its an absolute last option.

Great bunch of folks to deal with.The store is stocked well, always have the materials I am looking for.Only drawback is the traffic but it is worth the traffic headaches.

I spent almost two hours going to Home Depot and Lowes no one was helpful and they didnt have what I needed.Just 5 feet in the Florence Hardware store and I got assistance . They had what I needed at a good price and I was out the door in 5 minutes.

They always have what you need. And they help you, I went to another neighborhood hardware store and NOT one worker offered to help me so I drove another 3 miles for real service.

I have been there many times. I am always offered assistance, and the times I need it, they hit the nail on the head with what Im looking for, even if I dont know what it is I need. You cant ask for better service. Today they outdid themselves. They were out of a widget I needed and proceeded to call two local competitors to find it and then gave me directions! THAT is why I will go there first every time I need something.
