Shawn was a great salesman. Not at all pushy, but let me know the current situation and availability due to the global chip shortage. He was able to reserve a car for me weeks before it arrived at the dealership, and I got what I wanted. He kept in touch with me the whole time, informing me of financing options and status of the vehicle. He made sure everything was ready to go when I arrived so I would not have to return to have additional accessories added. Very happy so far. Ive only had my new Forester for three days, but so far I love it!

Not impressed at the recent experience I received today. I had an oil change appointment scheduled for 8:30AM on a Friday. I was on time for my appointment. At 9:30AM, I went to check in about wait time because an oil change shouldn’t take more than an hour, given I had an appointment.The man I spoke with was very nice about finding out what happened. He came back and informed me that a lift was out of service and that nobody told the front desk staff about it.Because I had to go to work, I was given the option to have a loaner car, which was at this point necessary. The nature of my work schedule doesn’t allow me to come in during the limited open hours on Saturday, so I had to have that car until Monday. I was told I would be contacted when my personal car was ready.When I went to get some belongings from my car before leaving with the loaner car, I saw that the service hadn’t even been started and there were multiple cars in front of mine. My car wasn’t ready for pickup until 3:45PM that day.This may mean you need better communication between the service staff. An oil change should not run from 8:30AM-3:45PM without notifying the customer. Thanks!

My husband and I drove our 2014 Outback to Cincinnati from Vermont. When we arrived, the passenger side footwell suddenly filled with water. I phoned the closest Subaru dealer, which was Josephs, and Ryan, one of the service reps there, told me to come right away. When we arrived a few minutes later, we were treated like royalty. We were greeted by three professionals who did an armchair analysis before whisking the car away to confirm their thoughts. My husband and I were put up at a comfortable table where we popped open our laptops. Less than an hour later, we were on our way--the problem was simple and solved. Ryan refused to let us pay and told us that it was an easy fix and the most important thing was that we felt Subaru cared about ALL its customers. After being put on hold 3 times for a combined total of 56 min (giving up several of my breaks to attempt to make an appointment.... I did finally get through and got scheduled. Though initially I was extremely frustrated, the gentleman that took the call was kind and very professional. Had a sound coming from pulley on compressor. The dealership diagnosed need new compressor they ordered it and called me back in when was available. The day of the appointment they sad they don’t hear the noise from the pulley at this time so they send me home without replacing it. Went to different dealer and of course they confirmed there is a problem with the compressor and will be changed. Long story short very bad experience. The intake person was not professional to say the least. Never going back there!

After conducting extensive research comparing the Subaru Forester and Toyota Rav4 and test driving both vehicles, I decided to purchase a 2021 Forester Limited. I contacted several Subaru dealers within 100 miles of my home and found the price offered by Joseph Subaru to be the most competitive. My sales person was Mark Stanton who was very easy to work with, knowledgeable, fair, answered all my questions and never applied any pressure for me to make the purchase. Before going to the dealership, I also researched the value for my trade and found their offer to purchase to be consistent with the price I expected to receive. Overall a very pleasant car buying experience.

Stopped into Joseph Subaru on Sunday 4/25/2021. I went with my son who is interested in a WRX and me who is interested in an STI. I was floored to be met by Tony in the sales department. He was the most rude, dismissive salesperson I have ever met. I told him we were interested in looking at a WRX and the response was to tell us that the car on the floor was an STI. I asked if he had a WRX and he responded with something like no and we dont let people take them out to hot rod anyway. We only let serious buyers drive the cars. If we let everyone take one out, wed have 400 miles on the car and thats hard to sell as new. I was absolutely floored. He never got up from him desk, never asked me any questions, just blasted me and my son. I spoke to a sales manager from the Cadillac side who was walking through who was apologetic but also dismissive and disinterested. I called the manager back after I left as I was absolutely livid. He told me he would give my name and phone number to another sales manager named Terry who did not call me back. Overall the ratings are good for this dealership, but I WILL NEVER, NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THEM as a result.

Gus at Joseph Subaru was great! He was very knowledgeable about the packages on the different trim levels of the Forester. Another dealer in Kentucky had given me the wrong information. Gus simply corrected what I thought I knew based on what other dealers told me. He offered me the best price as well. I went back and forth on wanting another Wrx like I had in my early 20s or a Forester for the more refined me these days. I spoke with Gus multiple days back and forth and every time I could feel the effort he was putting forward to help me. I have been shopping for a used Subaru Outback and I found one on Joseph Subaru website that I was interested in. I called and asked for a sales person and was connected with Shawn. He was very informative and answered all of my questions. The car that I was inquiring about was a certified used car. Shawn explained what that meant, which made me feel confident with driving almost 3 hours to look at it. I made an appointment to come to the dealership to take a test drive. It was very laid back and friendly. The car was exactly as described. The buying process was very easy. I dealt with Shawn, Justin and Dan. All were very professional. My experience with Joseph Subaru was great. My salesperson Scott Philbrook was excellent and I highly recommend him. Scott had the exact car I was looking for a red Forester Premium with package 15 and pkg. 1. He spent a great deal of time explaining the extensive features before I test drove it and then again once I purchased it. He was so patient and helpful even teaching me how to enter my phone contact list and Apple play before I left. Everyone working there were very friendly and several salespeople asked if I wanted something to drink or eat etc. Scott worked hard for me to get the best price and I was completely satisfied with the deal they offered and look forward to servicing my car with this location. This is my second Subaru Forester and I traded in my 2011 with 123,000 miles. I asked for several of Scott’s business cards and hope I can send more business his way.

I was put on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up on. I called Kings Subaru and they handled the service immediately. Definitely worth the drive to deal with a different dealer who cares about the customer after the sale.

I went to Joseph Subaru in Florence today very interested in a car they had in stock, but I was talked down to just because I’m young, they acted like I was gum on the bottom of their shoe, when I am more then capable to purchase the vehicle I went to look at, they didn’t give me any information on that car, was told I am not aloud to test drive, and when I was leaving the sales person said “sorry bud” and walked back to his desk

This was an INCREDIBLE experience. The sales people (Gary, Shawn, and Sheri) never pressured me once, were completely transparent with their prices, and provided me with the best service possible. I was very happy to buy a new 2019 Crosstrek from them and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Excellent! Car is under warranty. A/C quit on me during the heat wave. Originating dealer told me Id have to wait almost two weeks just to get an appointment. Joseph said, Bring it in between 8 & 3 tomorrow. Well see what we can do. So this morning, I took it to Joseph. In about 9:20, out by 10:40, fixed, recharged, ready to go, no charge, under warranty. Car is a 2017 Forrester. On the same situation, I had a major problem with a Hyundai a couple years ago, again with the selling dealer. Took it to another member of the Joseph dealer group (Columbia Hyundai), found the issue, involved factory rep and tech... Got it done. From now on, were Joseph people.

Easy going, needed a part and they were able to find the part I was talking about, (some dealer parts depts couldnt), would like to see more Subaru parts guys working, especially on the weekends, GM guys dont know much about Subaru. But overall not too hard on the wallet compared to the dealers Ive visited in nearby states. Ended up talking to a mechanic while waiting for the guy to get my part, the tech was real pleasant told me about a few problem areas to look for while I was swapping the part myself. Would definitely stop by again for the friendly folks.
