Got into an accident far from home. 5 Star Collision Center was referred by my Insurance as the place to estimate repair costs. They were excellent! Car was total loss and they were so kind to post my registration plate to me for free! The two receptionist ladies, April and I cant remember the others name are the best! I would recommend this business 100%!

Picked up my car today and what an awesome job 5 star collision did! You cant even tell this car was damaged and a life time warranty to boot on their work! Mark was amazing! We were recommended to another body shop after hitting a deer traveling through SC. Big mistake. We found Five Star, had it towed there. He not only made sure we got to his location safe, our car was towed, checked out and fixed within 2 hours. Excellent customer service and a great asset to Five Star Collision. Even went back to shop that recommend other location and told them to start recommending Five Star instead!!

Five Star gets a five stars from me. I had an insurance claim and a self-pay repair which they handled together with no problem or confusion. They continually kept me up to date on the progress, informing me where they were in the process. The thing that was the best, besides the repair, was the convenience of leaving the rental car onsite and driving away with my car. Hopefully, I will never need to use Five Star Collision Center again (think about it), but if I do have a need for repairs again, it will be 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟‼️

In 2017, I went to get my 535i BMW repair by this collision shop. This was the most horrible experience I have ever had; and it’s 2020 and my car still isn’t fix. I was in an accident that damage my rear end badly. They had my car for over 3 months and still give me back my car after all this long time incomplete.On top of this, they filled a lawsuit on me because of wanting me to take responsibility for a rental that I had, while they were fixing my car. Not to mention, I wasn’t at fault for the accident and the person who hit me insurance had paid, over a month of the rental. This collision shop was aware of my rental due date which had already had an extension and told me “Ms.Leonard don’t worry about it, keep the car until we finish”. It took them over 3 months to call me to pick up my car.Never in a million years, did I expected to be treated like this. We recently had a court case for the suit against me but they didn’t show up. I was so ready for them to show up; because I had all my paperwork and my car still not fix. I reach out to them serval times; and I still haven’t got a call back regarding this issue.

The only thing there service dept is good for are oil changes. They will charge outrageous prices and not repair your vehicle. Find another dealership for anything other than oil change

Worst place EVER! Similar to another comment left in the reviews, this place called three different times to tell me my car was ready when in fact it was not. Additionally, the final time they didnt even bother to go over the repairs with me as they knew things were still wrong with my car! They gave me my car with a gapped connection on one of the front lights, the check engine light came on as soon as I started driving off the lot which makes me think they tried to cut it off before I would notice! I couldnt even drive the car off the lot without it shaking. I had to spend more money taking it to the car dealership for them to fix the repair they stated this shop should have noticed as the repair was something that was due to the accident. This shop does not know how to repair cars and I would have avoided them all together if I knew what I now know. I had to spend more money to get my car fixed because this company could not and did not want to fix the problems THEY caused. Even the car dealership stated they should have noticed it! I would recommend NEVER going to this place.....unless you want a sloppy job and continued problems that werent present before your accident! I now have to go get my car checked thoroughly because of the screwed up service and shoddy work received from this place. Forget Five Star.....it is definitely NO Stars!

Great customer service from Chris and Bri!!! They took a bad situation complicated by the GM Strike, and us being from another State (FL) and made it 100% right. Chris and Bri kept us constantly updated by texts and calls to ensure we had up-to-date information about our car repairs. Even when the last part not arriving as scheduled, Chris went above and beyond to get our Yukon ready so we could be back in Florida as planned. This place was awesome! They got me back on the road when my car had an issue on I-95 South during my trip from Raleigh to Atlanta! The customer Lounge is comfortable, and they addressed my need and got me back on the road.

My dealings with Five Star have been horrible. My car was rear ended and 5 Star was one of their insurances preferred shops. I was told 3 different times it would be ready. 3 days after the 1st time I picked it up. When I finally received my car back, it was missing 2 items that were explicitly on the estimate. One of them (tail lights) I didnt notice until after I left the lot. 4 days later and they have yet to return my calls or emails. Meanwhile I have busted tail lights and 0 communication. Avoid this shop.

This place is very unprofessional. My vehicle was taken there due to it was not able to e driven back to VA. They called once to get information they should have had that was sent by insurance company. I kept calling for updates and they were always in meetings and someone would call me back. They never did. My vehicle was there for about a week or more and no one had done anything. Finally called my insurance company and they arrange to have vehicle removed and taken somewhere else.

Staff were very friendly. Kept me informed. Cannot give them a 5 because they missed some items that need to be completed and we had to return the vehicle.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had dealing with anything in my life. They first told me they would be finished with my car in one wk. Then they told me two. Three wks in I get my car back unfinished. When I tried to talk with them about this they demanded the whole payment be made even though the car wasn’t finished or they wouldn’t give it to me! While I’m trying to talk to the man to find out the total since he demanded full payment he wouldn’t give it to me and then hung up on me. No professionalism at all with anyone at this business. I would NOT recommend them to ANYBODY! I have never left a bad review in my life but this is necessary to warn other people.

When my Prius needed repairs, my insurance company (USAA) recommended Five Star Collision Center in Florence, SC. The repairs were completed in a timely manner. I was kept abreast of their progress by Roger, an employee of Five Star. They did a great job!

Unfortunately they were disorganized throughout the process. It may have been due to some attrition of staff but no one was the least bit apologetic. I am not a fan of giving reviews but the sent me 2-3 texts asking for me to give them a review. Hopefully they’ll get their act together soon.
