Great store. Fabulous customer service. If you ever need help in feed theres plenty of knowledgeable folks. Watch out for the older gentleman at gun counter he can be a little grumpy at times but generally knows what hes talking about. Management is pretty good and will do whatever they can to improve customer experience. All in all great store. Definitely recommend 👍

Great quality and assortment of goods. Clean store. Staff is about as friendly as Walmart Employees. NO need to wear a mask I was pretty much the only one lost count at 8 people without masks. Employees were wearing them though.

Probably the worst customer service in town. Cashiers barely manage to acknowledge you, most of them act as if they are doing you a favor for even ringing you up.

On 3/6/2021 out of ~6 staff that I saw, 1 no mask at all, two with their noses overhanging their masks (meaning completely ineffective) and the guns for homeless vets raffle no masks.Did the Virus disappear like a miracle?Might just be time to shop somewhere else for my bird feed.

No one had a mask on and the cashier had a bad mood and her nose was runny and kept touching her face. And the line was long.

This store is absolutely the worst! I have called over the phone prior to coming into the store inquiring about certain types of hay and whether they have it in stock. Nine times out of 10 they say “YES WE HAVE IT” and I drive all the way down there to either have them sell me hay they don’t even have or to find out they didn’t have any from the beginning when I called. I can’t believe how they have such incompetent people working at this store it’s just incredible. I mean come on now, it’s not that difficult to just go and check to see if you actually do have that hay in stock. What’s even more irritating is driving down there with false information from the employees and then have to deal with wasting more of your time by going through the refund process because they don’t even have the hay they just sold you.

Little understaffed at times but everywhere has to be cautious on labor during the 2020 FARCE. Appreciate they havent jacked up their prices too much during the ammo drought. Staff seems to be sympathetic to customer concerns.

We bought an ATV off the floor for our grandson. It was the only one they had left, and unfortunately, the ATV was missing essential parts, and the store could not find them. They offered a refund, but when we explained that we really wanted it, they had one shipped from another store, and it never arrived. They didnt stop helping us. Ryan Hendricks, the Southern Regional Manager, found another store that had the ATV we were looking for and personally delivered it to the Flagstaff store for pick-up! Our grandson is so happy, and so are we! Thank you, Ryan!!!

I came across this store from a Google search. I was in an emergency situation, and desperately needed a weight distribution hitch while moving. An employee worked it over with my wife and I was on the phone, he set the hitch up (as much as possible), then had it ready for me when I got there. I rang up at the wrong price, and they honored the shelf price. They then let me install it all in their parking lot and even let me camp there.Prices were very fair, very knowledgeable people, and willing to help. Couldnt ask for more.

I really like this store. That app that asks us to review the place, I accidentally clicked on that it had no parking lot! Of course it has a huge parking area that will take a bobcat truck easily for those large hauls.

I enjoy CAL Ranch store. The prices on some things, are quite reasonable. Others, not-so-much. Service is great.

Great place to frequent. Sometimes they have live bunnies or chicks! Always clean and well stocked. A little pricey but usually a good variety and good sales.

Apparently their license only allows for gun sales to AZ residents and neighboring states only so if you are traveling and want to purchase a rifle or shotgun dont even bother with this place.

Clerks could be more friendlier and at least say Hello when checking out.

This was the first time I ever went to this store. My very first experience was not very welcoming. I visit the store yesterday to buy my son a Christmas gift went with my parents. Also we dont live in flagstaff so being this is the closes town for us. Anyways I found my son a gift took it off the rack just to look at it testing it out. Manager comes up to us asks us we need to purchase that as is and that she cant give us a brand new one with no warranty purchase. Now I asked her can you come up to us can you be a little more nice instead with an attitude. And I must say she did not like us at all she followed us around the store thinking we were gonna steal something. So I ended up buying the toy I was testing out with no warranty and as is. Plus all the cashier stared at us with ugly looks. Not much I can do but write a review. Even if I call and complain Im sure its just gonna get ignored. Felt like me and my parents were pretty women. I will not be visiting this store again.

I recently had foot surgery and my husband ask for an electric cart so I could enjoy shopping with my family. This store only has one scooter and it doesnt even work. This is my favorite store to do clothes shopping, and I was so disappointed.

I bought a Sthil MS362C from there. I used it about 6 times it ran great. About the 7th time I used it it was very dusty and dry. I was about 20 minutes into cutting and it quit. I tried starting it and it would not go so I pulled the top cover off and right when I did my 15 year old son said where is the air filter? So I was sold a saw without an air filter. I took it back and he said he would get with a manager. I went back in about 2 weeks later and again he said he would get with a manager. So after 8 months of the saw just sitting there, I picked it up. I guess I will put a piston and cylinder in there.

This is a good store that is an alternative to high pricing at our local hardware stores. Garden tools are mostly Truper brand name, the worlds largest hand tool manufacturer. Great levels of quality dependent on price you want to pay.I like their quality. Everything is not made in China as local big box stores with many items American made or in Trupers case, Mexico made.Still need some help in being a good hardware store but this Cal Ranch is the largest store in the chain, so they have a decent selection.Help is friendly and adequate if you can find someone. They seem to be overstaffed on checkout people and understaffed on floor help which also double as warehouse people. When big trucks come in, you cant get much floor help. Also, not all items are marked with price labels so many areas you are lost at the price.

All the merchandise is top of the line customer service is really good if youre looking for any farm needs or work footwear or plain just wanna shop I would recommend going there

Good selection, clean store.Customer service is abysmal. Please hire competent help.Ive stood around for 15-20 minutes sometimes, waiting for an employee to get a simple question answered. Ive had employees working in their own areas that have NO working knowledge of the products they oversee/stock/sell. Even the firearms department employees, Ive seen them handle firearms VERY unsafely...and have them admit to me they dont know anything about the very pistols/rifles they are selling!The check-out people are rude and unfriendly.I came in for change one day, I needed to go to the nearby carwash- The woman looked at me, didnt greet me, and with glazed eyes said I cant open the register.So, I purchased a $1 item. Bing! The register seemed to open then. Why couldnt she have just rang something up, then voided it? Oh, I know why- she didnt want to do the extra 30 seconds of work to void the transaction. After I purchased the item, she didnt smile, say thank you, or anything. Silence.If thats not awful customer service, I dont know what is. I live directly behind this store and Im a member of this community that C-A-L has decided to step into- and this does not reflect well on this business, and in a small town, word gets around quick. CAL, fix your employees or your managers that train the employees.

Chinese junk overpriced. Ship it back to China. Thanks Bill for flooding our country with garbage from China at American made prices, nice try. Property owner rude to tourists. I would not buy anything from this store. There are plenty of other stores that are courteous to the customers.

Cal ranch has everything youd want for farm or garden or if your a sportsman, lots of items friendly service tons of items and an outdoor area for ag, items.

Boots, dog food, hardware, guns and fishing stuff... How much more could you need? Great, helpful associates.

For purchasing a handgun, I say this store is OKAY. In the sense of prices, this is one of the cheapest stores to purchase a handgun, and they have a fairly good selection of firearms. The negative part is that the clerks behind the desk are very impatient and rude. Ive gone there multiple times looking for 9mm ammunition, and if theyre out, theyll say they dont have any and then theyll LITERALLY walk away from you even if you have more questions. This is from my personal opinion, but I dont think they like young adults. Im 24 and my friend is 23 and we were in there and that attitude was given to us. Every time I see them talking to an older adult 40+, they take their time with them, theyre respectful, and they carry on random conversation. If it wasnt for their firearms, I would NEVER go to this store ever again.

Awesome store. Much larger than most Ive been in with a good selection of clothes.

They got my parts and the pricing was fine. It took a long time and 2 visits to get a call back about a chainsaw part, but they generally do a great job!

Always get great service and their Associates are very knowledgeable about all their products!

Shiw Low Said they would call me about what I needed...never did. Ended up going to Flagstaff store where they had what I wanted in stock with a discount!

If you have not tried C-A-L Ranch store yet, you should give it a try to have everything and the prices are less than the other outdoor stores. Employees are very nice also!

The store sells garden equipment, but the staff has no idea what soaker hoses are. Registers are understaffed. Zero help from staff when looking for a certain size of coverall. Changing rooms are locked and it takes about 20 minutes to find someone who has access to the keys.
