We had an amazing experience at Maxs Auto Body. They performed a custom paint job on our Jeep and Airstream and it looks amazing! The customer service was excellent. Max and his son Colton were great with communicating with us every step of the way and they feel like family to us now. They even worked on our vehicle over the weekend when they were closed to make sure the job was completed in a timely manner. We highly recommend this business.

Rubber all over my exhaust. Random unfinished spots. Didnt remove any rust which is now growing through the undercoat a week later and will need completely redone. Rubberized my shock coils? Just go somewhere else man. Lmao

Colton, Max and the team run a shop that makes you feel like family and were awesome to work with! On a trip out of state, I got a little impatient and decided to paint the side of my white truck blue, with a gas station pole. I brought it to the shop in March to see what they could do. Colton took his time to look at the damage, assess the cost and never made me feel like he was rushing my estimate. I made the decision to have them fix it after the great customer service I received, reading reviews and a personal recommendation of their work. Colton kept me up to date on the progress, delivery, etc. the entire time he had my truck. My truck looked brand new when I got it back and I couldnt be more pleased with the work. Words can not express the gratitude I have for this family. My boyfriend and I struck a deer on the way to Grand Canyon and rushed the front end of our truck. The frame need to be bent back and a new radiator and fans. We are from Texas and had to get home to our family. They worked hours locating parts and fixing truck enough to get us home. They went above and beyond and we are so grateful. Amazing people with amazing character this is a rare find in this world today...... I would give them all the stars for what they did to help us!!!

Took our truck to Max’s Body Shop to fix a bumper. The estimate was very fair and reasonable. When the truck was finished, we paid exactly what they said they would charge. The work was done well and Colton was professional and easy to work with. If we have any other work needed Max’s will be our first choice!

Hitting a mule deer on U.S, highway 89 did extensive damage to my 2007 Chevy Colorado. I had it towed to another body shop whose estimate was so high that my insurance company considered the truck to be totalled and the body shop was unwilling to consider ways to reduce the repair costs. So I looked around and ended up having my truck towed to Maxs. Max sat down with me for a long discussion about how to get it repaired and back on the road. He worked with me, finding ways to cut costs (e.g., using parts legally salvaged from junkers, ignoring some old cosmetic damage, etc.) and explaining to me how he would go about repairing the damage. I decided to have his shop do the work even though, frankly, I was a bit doubtful. But the finished job was really nice - the truck looked brand new except for the few dings we had agreed to ignore. Moreover, the cost came under his initial estimate, and the job was finished on schedule. Its now been 5 months, and I continue to be really happy with the job Max did. I hope I never need a body shop again, but if I do, Ill go back to Maxs.

I HIGHLY recommend you choose Max’s if you are looking to get a paint job or to customize your ride. I wish I could post pictures of the amazing custom paint job I got from Max’s Body Shop but maybe you’ll see me driving around town (green BMW Z3). From the start Max, his son Colton, and the rest of the staff were as passionate about the project as I was and it shows in the final product. Their work speaks for itself but working with guys like Max is the best part! Don’t look any further- take a trip to Max’s and they’ll take care of the rest.

I had a small fender bender on a 2004 Chevy Colorado. Every other shop in town was asking $4,000-$6,000 for a simple repair & claiming it was totaled. Max’s came in at well under a quarter the price of everyone else in town & did a superb job. Thank you for being honest & fair. I will be back for all my automotive repair needs.

I took my vehicle there back in January because my car had gotten vandalized. I had a broken window, dents all around, scratches and my back hatchback door was dented up. We spoke with Colton. He looked at my vehicle and gave me a quote and seemed to really want to help. We got it fixed. He guaranteed the work and said if anything comes up give him a call and bring it back in. You could see it looked a lot better but could see small dents and marks from where it was worked on, the area also seemed “weak” and soft. The next day we went out to Phoenix and as I closed the back door I heard a noise and noticed that a dent popped in. I called Colton to let him know because he specifically said to call if anything happens and he was not nice about it. He immediately blew up and was talking about how that’s impossible and that it can’t happen and that I probably just didn’t see it when I pointed everything out to him. And that I need to contact my insurance company if I want it fixed. He did not own up to it and didn’t try to ask to see the vehicle so he can see what I was talking about. He also brought up saying “wasn’t the damage from vandalism before” I told him I was standing RIGHT THERE when it popped in but he just kept going off and denying that it could even happen. Very rude and unprofessional.

I got backed into in a parking lot in July and brought my car to Maxs. They were nice and helpful at first but upon learning that neither my insurance nor the at-fault drivers insurance was going to help me their whole attitude towards me changed. They are on your side until they feel that they cant make any money off of you. Also he overcharges big time because he wanted 5100 to do my repairs and then tried to scale it back to 3900 to have it not declared a total. That is still a good bit of money. I was approached by somebody who said they could fix most of that damage for $80 using only a blowtorch and acetone nail polish remover in a parking lot and it looks a thousand times better. Not perfect but better and that really didnt sit well with Maxs son who works there. Max as a person is pretty okay but his child is two faced and rude. So is his wife who answers the phone sometimes and knew nothing about my situation and would not answer a simple question about the cost of a mirror and instead told me to get my lawyer to talk to Max and would not put me through to him. Even Max himself said he doesnt know why she did that. So if you are the victim of an idiotic driver and insurance declares your vehicle which only has cosmetic damage a total and you dont have the money for the repair yourself at that moment you should probably take your car to any of the other numerous body shops in town.

The used duct tape to cover imperfections in a part they rhino lined. then they wouldnt fix it when i noticed the crazy poor work done.they refused to fix the part.

I am currently a college student, so money is tight and when I found out I would have to replace my sun roof I was afraid I wouldnt have enough to fix it. Thats when I got referred to Maxs Autobody Shop. Max took his time and found the best possible deal for me. Great service and did an AMAZING job on the installation. I would strongly recommend them and trust them to do any body work on my future vehicles. What sets Maxs autobody away from the other local autobody shops is the fact that Max is a people person. He his friendly and connects with his customers in a way that makes you feel comfortable leaving your vehicle and confident that the job will be done right. We just had Maxs Body Shop repair our Toyota Highlander. The five star rating is based on the following factors: 1. The paint on the damaged area matched the original even though the car is ten years old. 2. One cannot tell where the original indentation and subsequent repair was done. 3. Although an additional part was required, which necessitated an additional day, the work was completed by the date promised. 4. The price was very fair and in line with the amount of work done. In the future, if we need to have body and paint work done on our vehicles, we will definitely go back to this firm. It is highly recommended.Robert L. Ph.D.

This is the place to go if you are looking for someone who can fix your problem on time for an honest price. I put a dent in the door of a pickup and was looking into replacing the whole door before I got ahold of Colton (Max’s son) who told me he could probably fix it the same day. I dropped the pickup off and came back a few hours later and was shocked by how good the door looked. I had a hard time even remembering where the dent was on the same door I had previously thought was ruined.

I got my grill, undersiding, rear and front bumper replaced here the grill was not placed on right the under siding was a cheap plastic broke after several weeks and then later I find out they didn’t even put any primer on the bumpers prior to painting it. The paint chipped easy and was cracking. Another guy who does Professional work said there was not primer. I thought of making a complaint but I just rid of the vehicle and thought I’d let you all know they do shady work and it took over two weeks to get my ride back cuz they were waiting on bumper and then told me waiting for primer to dry. Only to find out there was no primer. Hope this business fails so people can get real work done by a legit business.

This is the 2nd time in 2 years I have taken my car to Maxs Body Shop. We moved to Idaho after the 1st experience and I waited a year to get repairs made so I could have it done at Maxs rather than find someone new in Idaho. Great work & great customer service.

HONEST, AFFORDABLE and QUICK.It was about two weeks before i was supposed to be driving across country to Florida when a van clipped the whole front fender of my car. Light and bumper almost detached. I was in hysterics and puttered my car to the nearest body shop I could find in fear that I would do more damage driving it much farther. Max, the owner, and his son not only managed to calm me down, they helped get me get through all the insurance hokey pokey and got my car in for repair immediately. They also stayed in contact with me throughout the week with text updates and reassured me it would be done before my drive to Florida. As a very anxious type A person this was a dream come true. Their integrity is unflawed and admirable. They finished within the promised week estimation and even gave me an amazing deal that you just cant find at a typical dealership collision center. The auto work they put in was also immaculate, my baby looked brand new! I almost kissed her when I saw her! I look back on my experience with this business and smile big knowing there are still honest businesses out there. Needless to say I feel fortunate that they were the closest shop to me that day. Would recommend to anyone who needs any type of car service!!

I had an excellent experience here so wanted to make sure people know about it. It was by luck that I discovered Maxs in the first place. Someone hit my car so I had to deal with their insurance company, which is absolutely horrible. But luckily they referred me to Maxs. Colton at Maxs persevered and literally spent hours on the phone with that insurance company to get everything set up. The work they did was excellent and I am very happy. Customer service from both Colton and his father Max was excellent every time. And on the few occasions that I was at the shop I encountered other happy customers, including local car dealers who said they only bring their work to Maxs. I highly recommend Maxs to anyone needing body work.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. In February, my husband was in an accident and needed his truck repaired. After having a HORRIBLE (and I mean horrible) experience with the delegated body shop that our insurance appointed, we wanted to get a second opinion. We took our truck to Maxs. Between Max and Colton and the techs that worked on our truck, it was so relieving to know that we were able to get honest answers and a compassionate company that was willing to help and not take advantage. They were beyond fair and knowledgeable, as well as caring. If we are ever in a situation where we need to use a body shop, we will undoubtedly be calling them again. Thank you Max and Colton for being AMAZING!

I got a new to me Jeep whose previous owner had a destructive dog -- the back door innards were all chewed up. He was able to get me a used ($150 instead of $500!) new door interior and install it with the power stuff working -- awesome!

When my car was damaged by the remnants of a semi truck tire on the freeway, I took it here. They replaced the bumper whose paint is now mostly chipped off. The work was shoddy but I cant deal with them again. There were other issues that were never addressed. The staff members were inconsiderate. Avoid this place.

We brought one car to him. A day after we received the car back with Maxs so called Quality inspection approval the paint started chipping off the tailgate.The second car we brought to max to have the bumper cover replaced we had to bring back numerous times for him to realign the hood and bumper he couldnt even do that right. Now our bumper is all cracked and falling apart. The body shop has yet to rectify the problem. DO NOT LET HIM WORK ON YOUR CAR! He cant even fix a hotwheel.

Their work is the nearly the worst Ive ever seen.My kid brother can paint better and make much less of a mess of things. The paint job on my hood is terrible. Theyve completely twisted off and broke off one of the bolts that is attached to the hood of the car, overspray got eveywhere. The paint looks like a river running down the Hood with pools of paint all over. They got paint all over the rubber seal around the engine compartment, along with getting paint on the inside of the engine compartment. There are so many flaws and mistakes on the paint job its rediculous.You might as well pay the extra money and go somewhere else. Trust me.Added on 8-25-18 after reading the rebuttal left by the company.Additionally, after further examination i noticed the wiper blades are on incorrectly and who ever polished the hood off also got scratches on the plastic fender wells on both sides of the vechical.And when they washed off the hood after polishing it the water runoff actually stained the plastic fender wells.After which they attempted to remove the paint on the plastic fender well with some type of something, and now the fender has 3 half dollar size white spots on it where they scrubbed the paint off of the fender well.I am not a liar and I did go here and have work done I have nothing to gain from lying.Sincerely,A very disappointed customerp.s i would have said something at the time I picked up the car but their work was so sub par that i did not want them to touch my car again. Ill eat the money I lost to avoid any other issues with screwing up my car.
