I have been a customer of Northside Auto for many years and Jon and his staff have always been friendly, professional, and courteous. They go out of their way to make sure that you understand the needed repairs and that you are happy with the process from start to finish.

We had our van towed there and they kept saying they were gonna get it in and we’ll he never did. Instead he made a comment about my husbands pants and said he will not look at it. So now we have wasted 3 days plus the money we spent to tow it there. The secretary hung up on us and was very rude. Then some guy said he would push it out to the street! Don’t take your vehicle there

Called and asked for an estimate and got in 30 mins later towards the end of the day! Got my car in the next day to have the muffler fixed and they did a fantastic job at a great price! Very friendly service and I think I found a long term auto repair shop. Would highly recommend!!

I had my van towed here and they promised for 3 days to work on it and they never pulled it in. The receptionist is super rude hanging up on me and the owner isnt any better yelling and screaming at my wife and I. If I was you I wouldnt bring your vehicle here, they will just play games.

Brought a Subaru with an engine issue after an failed self repair. While friendly - their knowledge of Boxer engines is zero. My car was in the shop for almost a month, and when the diagnosis came through, their only suggestion was a replacement engine or aftermarket pistons which they would not have any warranty on. (Their finding lead was too much leakage on a single piston and bent valves)On top of all this when i came to collect my vehicle, i asked them not to spend additional time putting the engine back in to reduce my bill. I found my engine in a pile of other parts and scattered throughout the shop. They then gave me a bill for $650 - Which i asked for a discount because they kept the car so long - and they took $50 off.End story, I was told be a real Subaru technician, the the leakage on all for pistons was under 13% and purchased 4 oem valves for under $80 in parts. My engine block also had some pretty large scratches/rash patches from apparently being handled rough or slid across concrete.While I have had friends and family suggest this shop for smaller items, save yourself time and money and find specialty technicians if you need much more than oil changes and brake jobs. :(

Driving back to Zanesville from Toledo I started having engine trouble. I caught John during lunch and in between bites he told me to come on by. Best decision Ive made in a while. John diagnosed and located a random electrical issue and fixed it while I waited. Very friendly and very knowledgable folks. Stop shopping around and get in here! Youll be glad you did.
