So thankful for this place. Car broke down on me today and luckily they are open 24 hours and was able to look at my car. When describing what happened they were able to diagnose the problem. What I really liked about this place was they actually showed me what happened (axel snapped in half). Also I had a long wait but it was only because of the delayed arrival of parts. Took them only about 20min to work on my car. All employees were very nice and I got to play with their doggos! I definitely plan to go back for future work!

My husband and I just left from here and the owner is definitely honest!! Did the work on our truck with no cost to us. He was super generous and the customer service is definitely outstanding. Overall great and stress free experience! Being one of a handful of 24 hour mechanic shops in town I was a bit worried about the possible timeframe of repair and of course pricing, within minutes of talking to the gentleman and describing my problem (a broken axle it turned out) I was able to have my car towed there the same hour, had an estimate very shortly after it arrived, and the repair was started as soon as it was approved. Very professional and showing a genuine care for our troubles, I was impressed and relieved of stress almost instantly. We were able to pick up the vehicle later that same day and it didnt hurt the wallet nearly as much as I had first anticipated. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable shop with good prices and amazing service. Kudos to 1st Time Fix, I do believe I finally found a reliable place to take my vehicles as needed, and with no worry of being led around the bush.

I have NEVER had a mechanic that went out of his way to make sure that my car was in tip top shape before it left his shop. I had previously visited 3 other mechanics that told me nothing was wrong with the car. They figured out the issue with 15 min and fixed other problems they found while researching the main reason while I came in. He has found a customer for life!

Being from out of state, finding reliable mechanics is always a tough thing. I searched and found 1st Time Fix Auto Repair quickly. I called and spoke to Chris. The entire crew was amazing and friendly. I ended up having to replace a wheel bearing. The work was top notch as were the employees. I can’t say enough good things about them. If you are debating - just go to 1st Time Fix!!! You will be happy you did. These guys are lifesavers! Broke down on 95 on a Sunday, called them and they were extremely reassuring on the phone. They took my car right away and spent two hours working to get my car back on the road, letting my aunt and I stand by as they worked. Owner went above and beyond to explain everything and make sure the car was good to get back on the road. Made an extra effort to keep the car clean and clear. Never in my life have I had such amazing service. The owner did not even want to charge me for his time, but no money would have covered how generous they were and how thankful I am.

I can’t recommend this place enough! When our car broke down on the 95, this spot was the only place open on a Sunday, so we got a tow truck to come take us there. When we got there, Chris took our car out for a ride and of course the car was fine then. But we explained our problem to Chris and just by listening, he told us what the problem was and what we should do about it while driving. He even said that if it happened again, even if we were hours away that we can call him and he’ll pick us up. He was absolutely amazing! So caring. So genuine. And smart as hell, cause we made it ! Thank you! And if ever traveling by North Carolina again. I would definitely go back.

Honest Honest and Honest!! This has been the only shop I let work on my vehicle since I been stationed here. At first I was hesitant because of the physical condition of the shop, but I walked in and all the guys in there were cool including the owner Chris. They explained to me what was wrong with my car and physically showed me.

Don’t judge a book by its cover, from the outside the shop doesn’t look like much. But the men were professional and knew exactly what they were doing. Went in to get my A/C repaired. They were able to Diagnose it on the spot and fix it. Super professional. Didn’t nickel and dime like most places. Highly recommend them.

I lost 4 lugs and studs on Saturday, 8/14/2021. I Google for repair shops in the area and First Time Fix was first on the list. I called the number and was told to bring it in and he will look at it . I got my car towed there. I lost bearing on right front wheel. Parts was ordered and my car was repaired at an reasonable price and I was on my way. I live in Columbia, SC but I will take the 3hour drive back to first Fix auto for repairs. I waited longer for the tow truck.

Chris is honestly one of the BEST mechanics I have encountered ever. I only needed my brakes and rotors, he told me about other problems I needed changed . He told me he was fixing it even if I didn’t pay for it because I really needed it. He’s very flexible working with my budgeting and helping me. Best service on the planet??? Probably so. We were broken down on our Christmas vacation. Chris came to the hotel on a Sunday morning to troubleshoot the car and did everything possible—back on the road the following morning! He saved our vacation and treated us like we were family.

Just got my brakes changed with the guys at 1st Time Fix Auto Repair and was very pleased with their service. Mr. Kenny and Trevor had a positive attitude through and through and made me feel welcome. Shared their workspace with me as I waited for the job to be done and to top it off they did a great job on my brakes. Highly recommend and plan on going back.

Had my Jeep towed there and they were busy/backlogged so they were unable to actually complete the work on my Jeep. Fortunately, Chris was able to save the day anyway! He took care of the tow to another auto shop that he recommended and was far more helpful than anyone ever has been at any shop I’ve ever dealt with—and he wasn’t even doing it for the money! Whenever I have an issue with my Jeep again I’m going to get it taken to 1st Time Fix, because if they’re this wonderful to worth with when they’re not even making a profit by helping me, I can only imagine how helpful they will be when they can accept my business.

I call 1st time fix auto repair because I was having issues with my 2017 Hyundai Sonata. When I brought it buy the shop, I was instantly greeted and the mechanics are very trustworthy! On a Sunday morning, heading back home to FL, we stopped at a rest area and our tire blew a valve stem while sitting there. I Google searched auto repair shops and no other shops nearby were Open on Sundays except for this one. I called to verify if they do this kind of repair and sure enough they did!! It took roughly 5 mins tops and we were out of there! They got the tire out of my car and brought it back and loaded it up for me. Employees Trevor, Kenny and Chris were all very kind and super helpful. They were knowledgeable and consistent. Would definitely use there services again if ever having another issue passing through. I cant say enough about Chris and Angie at 1st Time Fix Auto Repair. My kids and I were on a long road trip from Pennsylvania to Florida when our car started acting up and the engine light went on. It was January 1st and my first thought was we were going to be staying at a hotel at least for the night, if not more. We called Chris at 1st Time fix and even though it was a holiday he took us in, fixed our car and got us back on the road. He was very transparent about what he was doing and why it needed to be repaired. He was also able to get the parts needed the same day. He even followed up with us after we got back on the road to make sure everything was ok. I cant say enough about Chris, Angie and First Time Fix. I would highly suggest using First Time Fix for all of your auto repair needs.

My overall experience was exceptional!! I ran into an issue with my truck and Chris was more than willing to take a look. It is reassuring knowing that old school mechanics are still out there and will do their best to help you solve your problem. Sadly, I can’t say the same for most of the auto shops in the area. Amazing service, caring, and super friendly! I took my Infiniti Q50 to the shop for a muffler delete. After completing the muffler delete they realized the car was still quite, so they worked the rest of the day to make sure it would sound better. By the time I got to the shop the car was still not sounding how we wanted it. They were more upset about the results then I was and promised they would make sure they had my car sounding the way WE wanted it. They scheduled me another appointment and spent another whole day working on my car free of charge because they took pride in getting it done the right way. We cannot recommend Chris and 1st Time Fix Auto Repair highly enough!!! He is by far the most knowledgeable and helpful mechanic we have ever encountered. We were driving on I-95 from Florida back to New York when the gauges on our Jeeps dashboard suddenly stopped working and all the warning lights came on. It was the middle of the night and we were passing through Fayetteville, so after AAA came to give us a jump and the problem persisted, we were referred to Chris. We were hesitant to call him so late, but he answered and was kind enough to try and help us diagnose the issue over the phone. He even offered to have us come by his shop right then, but given the time of night and the fact that auto parts stores were not open, we decided to stay the night at a nearby hotel. In the morning (a Sunday morning no less), Chris and his wife drove to our hotel and gave us another jump so that we could drive to his shop. After following him there, we were greeted by his technician, Aaron, who got to work with Chris right away. They hooked our Jeep up to a diagnostic tablet and determined that we needed a new battery, which Aaron was able to go quickly pick up at the auto parts store down the road. In the meantime, Chris checked out a few other things under the hood and gave us several helpful tips regarding maintenance on our Jeep going forward. While installing the new battery, Chris cleaned the corrosion off of the terminals and then sprayed them with a protectant to help prevent future corrosion. He also checked our air & cabin filters and after discovering how dirty they were, offered to change them at no additional labor cost. And as if that werent enough, he was kind enough to power wash the front of the car and remove all the dead dragonflies & other bugs. Needless to say, Chris and his shop were an absolute lifesaver and we were so fortunate to have come across them. Chris is one of a dying breed of mechanics who really take pride in their craft and truly care about their customers. The only downside? That they are not located closer to NY -- because wed love to be able to always have them service our vehicles!

Incredible service. I called at 8pm on a Tuesday after my car wouldn’t start and they were able to get to me, diagnose the problem (starter), and push start my car before AAA could show up. Drove over to the shop, they had a new starter in and I was back on the road by 10pm

I had a squirrel burrow under the hood of my car and chew through all of the spark plug wiring. I was originally planning to take it to a dealership to have repairs on it but the guy who came to tow it away recommended this place instead and they were awesome. They called me after looking at the car to make sure that I was okay with what they were planning to do to fix it and once I gave them the okay it was finished and ready to be picked up in less than a day. The price was extremely reasonable especially when comparing it to what a dealership would’ve cost me so I was really grateful to have found this place. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever my car needs repairs they were seriously great!

381 miles away from home and our daughter’s car broke down. We could not even shift the car into gear. I had a battery in my Ford Fusion that was so dead I couldnt even jump it. 1st Time Fix offered me a replacement battery at a great price and even came and installed it for me (since I couldnt get my car to them)!!While on site my car was checked for oil and fluid levels and I was given some tips on how to make it last longer.Really great customer service, quality work. Today my battery light came on and my car turns off in the the middle of the road, I get a jump and make it a little ways down the road before it turns off again. Luckily I broke down right in the parking lot of first time Fix and repair. The service was great! They made me the first priority so I wouldn’t be stranded. KENNY Diagnosed the problem and told me I needed a new alternator. He ordered me one and it was there in no time. He put the alternator on and had me back on the road within an hour. Kenny is a great Mechanic and first time repair will definitely be getting my business again!

I highly recommend to anyone seriously. They will get you right the first time. Specialize in Toyota’s I tell you that first hand. All cars but Toyotas specifically pertains to me.
