Very cozy small business for desi groceries. They have all kinds of halal meat (beef, lamb, chicken, turkey, sometimes duck, etc.). Their butchers are great too. Prices are competitive.One item that can be improved is variety of vegetables and addition of fruits. Other than that, good place for Indian/Pakistani groceries in the falls church area.

A hidden gem! Beat selection of fresh halal meats in the area. Best tasting fresh chicken at decent prices. Their pre-made chicken kebobs are delicious! Tariq, the manager/part-owner and the butcher are so friendly and helpful. They will cut your meat any way you ask. If you don’t want to wait, you can call in your order and pickup it up. The store has a good selection of dry goods and essential selection of frozen foods. They recently expanded their produce section. Stopping here for chicken kabobs and some produce makes for an easy weekend meal.

My aunt loves this store. Friendly people with so many choices of good things to eat and their meat, chicken, beef, lamb ect. Are very good.

I purchased Chicken and 🐑 Lamb and they also have 🐐 GOAT and the employees are very helpful and nice,There is no doubt I will be returning to SAFA HALAL MART for all of my halal needs.

This place has the best fresh lamb, cut and trimmed to order. Also a good selection of international grocery products. All at good prices.

DO NOT get Ground Lamb from this place!!! I used to go to this store to get ground lamb and i found out that he gives me ground beef instead, and sell it with the price of lamb.The meat taste ok

Because of the expanded desi population overall in DMV aria, unfortunately, most of these type of desi grocery store especially with meat section does not care about customer service any more Two brothers who own this store were used to be a meat handler at Halalco market when it used to be in front of there location young brother is bit Curtis, however, the elder brother is not only extremely rude but is extremely dishonest always have meat sale signposted as $2.99 and $3.99 for beef but whenever the customer request for this sale price they will bait and switch and offer the same beef for$5.99 per pond be very careful because their business is doing very good now and they became more greedy and want to earn extra income by cheating their customers when ever someone called to find-out if they have veal in stock they will lie to the customer over the phone like a used car dealership and once a customer appear in the store they will use bait and switch tactic again and offer beef instead of veal to the customer the meat cutter is very rude not only to customer but also to the store owners very weird situation avoid this store if you can and find some other halal meat store and spend your hard earn money with honest business instead.

One of the worst experience i had in this store... they dont have minimum sense how to speak to customers. I asked for meat and they gave me different meat and on top of that they are saying, they will give same to everyone. If you they dont have what we needed or if they cont give 2LB meat what we need then they should tell us... instead they just swap with different meat... if they do this, who knows they might be mixing beef to goat..

These men were SOOO polite and patient while my aunt tried to find out what they sold.( Our first time here)The chickens we ordered were so good., My aunt loved the beef heart and we are going for more very soon.They cut the chicken according to how how we wanted it cut.(for a recipe) and that saved us from doing it ourselves.

More expensive than other halal stores and unfriendly door it hit my foot and scratched it badly 😫

Small but very neat and clean. Butchers are very knowledgeable. Pre packaged meat is available also and everything is really fresh. Nice to find such an organized halal butcher!

I go all the way there from MD for the butcher. Clean and great quality. He makes suggestions and will also cut to order exactly how you want it. Great prices as well. The grocery section is fine, too, for its size. Always helpful and friendly staff.

Meat is always fresh and good quality. They also have organic chicken. The meat area is kept very clean which is a huge plus for me. Overall its a small store but the owners are very friendly.

I highly recommend Safa Mart. Went there for the first time to pick up a rather large and complicated order of both red and white meat. They suggested that if I can come a bit later, they would rather give me fresher meat since they have a delivery coming in. I highly appreciated the honesty and care. I was also very impressed with how clean and organized the store was. Customer service was 10/10 and the owner was a true gentleman in taking out the groceries and loading my car for me.As for meat, I have been in VA all my life and I have never seen a halal meat place providing such clean, fresh,and thoughtfully and individually packed portions the way Safa Mart did. I was so pleased I literally called them to thank them.They now have a loyal customer and would definitely send family and friends their way.

Go to place for poultry and meat. Never really compared prices but the service is what got me to stay. Sometimes, there is a wait line but always felt that I came to a friends place rather than a grocery store. Keep up the good work!

The no. 1 thing we all dread when we go to any desi store is dealing with the meat department. They make faces every time you have a special or different order apart from taking forever. This place is clean and the meat dept doesnt smell like something has died in there. The butcher is an Egyptian guy I think and friendly and the owner is always there. I just wish they had a larger selection of bread. Other than that 5 star.

For a Desi/Arab store this place is very clean, especially the meat department. No smell, no stink which I cant stand and the butcher is very friendly also. Has all the basic stuff plus its not busy so in and out is quick. I like it.

The owner is the former Manager of Halalco Super Market. The store is small and there is not much difference than any other Desi store. The difference is in the fresh meat. Unlike Halaco, you get much better meat here. You can ask for specific cut, age and much more. Their meat supply is small so the chances are that its usually fresher than other big store. The butchers here are very friendly and will.genuinly give you better meat unlike Halalco. The prices of groeceries are generally more than Halalco store. You are better off with Halalco if you are buying huge quantity groceries (flour, oil, rice, spices etc). I definitely recommend it for meat.

They are cheaters. I asked them for baby goat meat but they gave me lamb meat and spoiled our long weekend trip. I also doubt their weighing methods, theres lot of difference between priced weight and packed weight.
