I enjoy shopping at this Falls Church Staples. It is low key, staff are personable and helpful. The store is small but I find it has all the basic office supplies I need. Because of the small size the store is easy to navigate. Their aisle and display signs are oversized, easy to read and consequently I can find what I am looking for efficiently. My experience is the store is always clean.
Caleb was amazing! I am a small business owner that came to staples with a last minute print job. He was very patient to walk me through the technical challenges of using staples software. I certainly appreciate his help and will be back for my small business printing needs.
Very disappointing location..... Although the pandemic has reduced the staffing at many locations, the copiers at the Falls Church location were marginal and I was told there have been many complaints in the store about them NOT working properly. I had to try 4 times to copy 15 pages! The staplers do not have staples and if you need more than 30 seconds to shuffle papers, forget it, it will end your session. The staff at the printer area are not available so for a paper jam, I had to end my session and do one page at a time. The front cashier was very patient and helpful :-))
Awesome Costumer Service. Store Manager Layth is amazing and super friendly and prosesioy. He prints our calendars and newsletter for our residents in a excellent way. I am so great f for all of his help and assistance.
Wanted to buy $200 gift cards on promotion. I was at the store the day before and they had 300 cards in stock. Show up 15 minutes after opening time they have zero. Guy tells me they sold out. I was like in 15 minutes? I reported the manager to corporate and they are under investigation now. Dont shop there!
This is specifically for the ups at this staples location. It takes an absurd amount of time. And the female Annette makes people physically put in their own addresses for their packages. I’m not a covid freak but she should be the only one using the keyboard.
Returned an unused/ un-opend Item ($100), and replaced it with a little bit cheaper item because the original item wasnt the right model number. got my replacement item, got it home, only to find the replacement($80) was opened / used, covered in glitter paint, missing a part and didnt charge... Called them back, was told I could go back yet again to replace.... at this point I just want to return the item, get my money and get on with ordering what I want somewhere else... what a waste of not 2 but by tomorrow morning, 3 trips to falls church... I was advised to ask for a manager and I could get a coupon for my trouble... no thanks.. I just want my money back...
Had what I needed
It is always best to check the website when purchasing toner for your printer. The price in the store was just shy of $88. The price on the Staples website was just shy of $64.50. No problem at checkout getting the cheaper price. The other thing that I dont like is that you can no longer purchase one Sharpie at a time. The minimum is three depending on size of the marker.
Joanne in the Printing department was an absolute pleasure. She helped me complete a time sensitive job under budget and was very knowledgeable on all products. 5 stars for Joanne
This store keeps open when others shorten their hours. I was helped by a friendly and very knowledgeable associate, Javia, who helped me to find exactly the SD card I needed and even led me to one with a lower price.
I was a very frequent client to print my engineering drawings, (my studio its at less that one block) I knew everybody there specially Ambu, the Indian girl that was in charge of Printing and Marketing department, she was very helpful and always was ready to resolve any issue with the customers. Now they hired new persons, one more lazy than another one, they never can print anything, does not matter the size you request, always are putting the excuses of dont have the paper. And not to mention the attitude!!! are worst.......Question?Why do you work in this type of places where you need to know at least a minimum knowledge of computers to know how to send a print and interact with customers all day if they do not know how to do their jobs and deal with courtesy and education?.
I had a similar experience to Paola, visited pretty much weekly to get some things printed. The first time it took 2 hours to get the right size! After that things worked alright for a while.Ambu and Daniel are both great, (only reason I didn’t give 1 star) they always helped me when there was an issue. Michael of the other hand gave nothing but annoyed and angry looks every time I asked a question and gave responses full of attitude.I went here because it was the only one close to me at the time, but I’ve since stopped.
I am a teacher. I have been coming to this Staples for as long as this business has been in Falls Plaza. (I am outing my age by admitting this.) I began using the copy center right away for my personal and professional needs. As creative person I use the self-serve copiers to create all kinds of magic for my students, but sometimes I need to combine forces with the service team who are always eager and polite--even when they are slammed. In all these years I have selfishly never written a review (the busy life of a teacher) until now. Recently I got married, which required a lot of prep work, especially since I went DIY with the whole thing. Invitations, posters and pictures of the blessed couple were scattered all around for the guests to enjoy during cocktail hour. Besides being happy for me, everyone behind the service counter was helpful with ideas and quickly turned around. I especially frequented for support during Nesenets shifts (she usually works on Thursdays-Sundays in the afternoons and evenings) because she is highly competent, lovely, and intuits my needs even better than I do. Last year I moved from my conveniently located home across from Falls Plaza to the Vienna/Reston border. Even though there are Staples locations dotting the landscape far closer to me, I still frequent this store to work with their staff. Cheers to Falls Plaza Staples staff for always being here and coming through!!!
All I needed was some files little girl stay with me for 5 minutes climbed up the ladder three times to see if she could find what I was looking for great service it was towards closing time the stores very clean great service
This is the Staples to go to if you need peace and quiet to get things done. The staff is great - efficient, helpful and pleasant.
On two separate occasions I’ve tried to send online print orders here and both times I had issues. The first time they completely messed it up, the lady gave me attitude and clearly had no idea what she was doing. The second time I came 2 days after my order was ready to be picked up and it still wasn’t ready. And when they tried to print it wasn’t the right file. But thankfully (to their credit) they reprinted at my request. Although spent a lot of time waiting. Highly recommend FedEx if you ever need something printed.
They close the doors before closing time.
I showed up at 8am to have 200 copies printed by 9:30am. They refused the order saying they could not do a rush job. I drove to FedEx who printed it in less than 5 minutes. I know where I will be taking my business from now on.
Super sweet staff. Always helpful.
Staples Corporation should look into this Staples store. It has extremely poor customer service starting with the manager named Asad. Today I tried exchanging a laptop which I bought the day before and spent over 1 hour in store just because he kept doing other things. Never even had the decency to say sorry for the delay after The 1 hour he says we need your Credit Card for a refund... 😡All I wanted was an exchange for a better laptop not a refund! unfortunately its the nearest store to our business so we are forced to keep coming back. Lost my patience so will drive further away to another staples store for this exchange. The print Service female attendant is also rude and never willing to help. (Dont know her name but seems to be middle eastern) its frustrating how this is the only Store that doesnt use the /printme email for fast service. Every other staples store has it except this one. Walked in yesterday hoping to print a file which I had on email and asked if I could email it to the Staples/printme email and she said.... No go back to your home and bring it back in a flash drive its the only way 😱 Really?????
Its literally half a building because the childs first swim store next to it. And dont even get me started about asad
SD ram price was a bit high, but got some school supplies that were on sale.
Ruined several posters Id tried to have them laminate. Claimed it was the quality of the posters, though Id had another already done at the Route 7 Staples.
Terrible service. Manager and employees just stand around while one employee does all the work.
Fast and efficient.
