My dad went here in the morning to get a tire changed. They told him they would call him when ready. My father waited and never got a call so at 5pm he went to check. He was then told they couldnt do the work and to take it to another NTB. My father was in total shock of the poor customer service and the unethical treatment he received, the man here did not even apologize for his actions. He will never go back this NTB and they must be looked into. The treatment he received here is unacceptable and unprofessional. Do not do business with these people.

Ive been here twice before. My most recent visit (yesterday) was leaps and bounds better than the previous one (May, 2020). Maybe there was an ownership change? Not sure. What I do know is that my most recent visit had incredible customer service and a quick turnaround on my vehicle. Will definitely be coming back if/when I need them.

This was the worst experience, my friend referred me to this place and I was very excited for my first appointment, I scheduled online and confirmed online as well. I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment time and when I checked in, the rude guy in the front told me why I havent call to the store to make my appointment, that since I didnt call I will have to wait 3-4 hours for an oil change. I told him and show him my confirmation for appointment and he still in the worst tone that I should have call the place to make an appointment, I asked him so why you guys have an option to do it online? he didnt answer and just told me I should have call first. Is incredible the bad experience in this place I though this was professional, definitely I will go back to the place where I used to go before.

I bought replacement tires for my sons car here. One of the tires had a slow leak, and that ended up going flat and getting destroyed. I bought another tire and it was also having a slow leak problem. I took it to another vendor and they were able to fix it by cleaning the rim and resealing. I’m not sure why this was not done when I bought the new tires. Also, even though I don’t have TPMS on my rims, each time I went here they tried to charge me for the TPMS fee and I had to ask them to remove it from the bill. My recommendations, if you go there be sure to monitor your air pressure after and look at your bill closely.

I love this place!! They are so honest!! I bring my car here all the time! The store manager Juan was incredible and extremely helpful in my experience. The mechanic Mr Lee was so thorough in explaining everything to me.Thank you NTB! I’ll keep coming back!

Absolutely terrible service, just went to another location earlier this month and they were great. But this location didn’t set me appointment, they didn’t have my oil in stock and overfilled my car full of oil. I’m at Subaru right now and they estimate it was over filled by 2 quarts. When I called to speak to the manager Chris, I was put on hold for 15 min for him to come back because there were other customers. He then picked up and told me “let me call you back” and still never called me back. At this point I’m not going back and don’t even care for a refund. A simple apology would of been enough. Avoid this location, they don’t know what they are doing.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Juan at NTB he made everything so easy for me and explained everything in detail. I had several problems with my vehicle when I came in and he resolves them all!Thank you for making my visit a pleasurable one!

Got a quote over the phone for 4 new TMPS sensors installed for a total or $452.69. I show up to get the TPMS sensors installed and the new price is $867.10. I question the new price because theres a big difference between $452.69 and $867.10. The responses to my questions were along the lines of you cant get sensors cheaper, this is a business, and I didnt give you the quote over the phone.An simple explanation to how there could be such a disparity between prices or an apology for a bad quote would have went a long ways, but thats not what happened. On a bright note, they did offer me the option to bring my own TPMS sensors in and they would install them. However, I will not be going back to NTB.0 out of 5 stars would not recommend.

Today was a pure example of a well run shop. Seven people in line and phones ringing... manager advised I dropped off the car so that I didnt have to wait. He was considerate of my time and that I appreciate. Im not in the customer service industry but now I know what they have to endure during their shift. Keep up the great work I mean it.

Pretty wild. I set an appointment online for 11:00am to get one tire changed. Got there and was told that it may take 2 hours to get it changed because a mechanic was out. No problem. Uber back to my place. Come back at 1:35pm and my car is in the same place with the donut still on. Talk to the front desk and am told that they will try to move it up. Instead, another car gets moved up that they thought was mine. Don’t find out until 2:30 pm. Ask for my keys back and get them without a single apology from the front desk. Shouldn’t take 4+ hours for a single tire regardless of whether there is one staff missing especially with a set appointment, and the lack of customer service was mind blowing. Took it to Mr. Tire for the replacement and was in and out (with an emissions test) in 45 min.

Very poor customer service,I had an appointment at 3:00pm and when I came they told me the service would take 2 hours so I had to come back at 5:00pm. So, I waited at ihope across the street for one hour and I saw that my car still was parked outside, so I called them to see if there is any problem and the customer service guy called Salem I believe answered me in a bad manner and he told me my car will be done at 5:00pm. When I came at 5:00pm they didn’t do anything and when I asked him why!!!!! He told me that they didn’t have my phone number to call me even though I gave him my phone number twice and also, I called him to see at 4:00pm but he told me I have to wait till 5:00pm.

Excellent and efficient service coupled with knowledgeable staff and technicians makes going here a no brainer. If you don’t do your own maintenance, this is the place to go.

My mother brought her car here and recommended me this shop.. she was right best shop in northern va with people who know what they’re doing. There honest and they care. Always worried about being a woman going to a shop but I didn’t have that worry here at all! Came in for a tire patch and They showed me some other things wrong with my car as well walked me back to show me first hand what was going on and gave me in depth explanations. This experience with NTB was what every customer expects but doesnt always get. Great communication of what to expect, and service, (purchase and installation of new tires), in a timely manner. Clearly Tin, the service manager handling of each customers concerns was beyond reproach. Its hard to find a car service provider that you can trust. Im grateful to have now found one!

Chris was outstanding today! i needed my car towed and I was on the phone with Chris and he instructed that I didnt drive my car with a bubble on the rear driver side because it could blow. He covered some of my tow by giving me a discount on the installation of my new tires.

Such a life saver! I was driving along route 50 and ended up with a hook in my tire! Luckily I was right in front of NTB and with my luck, I had purchased my tires from there as well! Will definitely be coming here again. My car is 2005 with 100k+ miles and needed a lot of work done. The manager, I believe his name was Tin was super honest and helpful and didnt rip me off as many places have in the past since I am a woman and dont know much about cars.

I was parked across the street - and my car wouldnt start. Luckily, I called NTB.Not only did they lend me their portable jumper, walk me through how to use it, but they went above and beyond by walking me back to my car to ensure everything went smoothly.Cant thank you guys enough - you were awesome.

My wife and I drive a Lexus ES350 and needed help with our squeaking brakes. We stopped in one day and met with the manager Chris and the other manager Tin. They were excellent and professionally explained what was wrong and also spotted several issues that would result in a safety inspection issue in the future. Other mechanics at other shops totally missed these issues, so we were THRILLED they noticed them and could get them fixed while we waited. We also were greeted briefly by Roger, Rialdy and Mr. Lee (the mechanics) and were very impressed with the professional friendly atmosphere and fair deal. Thank you NTB - so glad we found your shop. Awesome experience!! Im amaze how fast and efficient they can be while low staff and how clean the work place is. They did such good work on my car even the manager are so knowledgeable. Came here to have new tires installed and an oil change.Amidst the pandemic, I was actually very surprised on how fast and efficient the store was— the fact that it seemed as if they didn’t have many people working, but the employees there made up for it.Upon waiting, one of the managers, Tin, provided me with the details and the process, and had me reassured I’d be taken care of... Thank you for that!I’m always skeptical going into shops to get work done, but this NTB location is nothing but spectacular! With all that’s going on, it’s good knowing that the folks here can compensate for all of the obstacles in their way.

Changed oil and it came out al ot of things to fix. I know about car but they told me that i need to change the filter. I just replaced it 2 months ago. Lol.

I had a flat tire around the corner of NTB falls church. Usually I take my car to the dealer but I needed a quick repair although they were about to close in 15 mins. Tin was able to squeeze me in for a tire repair to get back on the road despite me needing new tires. The following day I ended up buying 4 tires and alignment from NTB falls church. Without their help I would’ve been waiting for triple A on the side of the road for who knows how long.

They outright LIED to us. We were having issues with low tire pressure. We brought it to get looked at and to get an oil change. They said there was a nail in the tire wall and I needed a new tire. I brought it to another place and they verified that there was no absolutely issues with the tires (air pressure drop due to colder weather).

Needed to be change new management. The shop is not honest with the price over charge. And for most, the manager is very rude NOT nice to the customers. The corporate of NTB need to look at his attitudes and customer service is most important. Nick was very nice and help full. I am a long time customer here and spent thousands of dollars over the years.

This location did a terrible job on my wheel alignment. I dont drive much, dont hit curbs, and there are no potholes around. I told the guy it pulls to the right and he basically blew me off. Usually the want to know such information. I usually go to a different NTB location which is where I will go this week.

I absolutely love this place!! Ernesto helped me out with a flat tire and at a reasonable price. Ernesto took care of me and I appreciated everything he did for me! My tire is good as new, since I did purchase all 4 brand new sumitomo tires here. Ernesto helped with a great deal! He saved my life for my Saturday night!! These gentleman saved me a ton of money by checking my muffler without charge and finding nothing wrong with it. They were very timely in doing my alignment and tire rotation plus wiper replacement. As I like to say: Excellent work man. Excellent work.

This is a good place. Great customer service. I ultimately didn’t get my tire replaced here because my tire is rare and the soonest they could get it was four days. They were honest enough to tell me this. Show me the 2 inch hole in my tire and they didn’t charge me anything for the diagnostic. Thank you Nicholas for the great service.

They did great! Super fast (I scheduled my appt) and paid attention to my needs as a customer. 4 tires were dismounted, mounted and balanced and installed in less than an hour. (I was there first thing on a Saturday, but I also have been there during the week after work.) Good people!

Best Auto shop Ive been to! Very fast and professional service. Their service manager Ernesto is super attentive and will try his best to help you get the best deal. Normally Im worried of getting ripped off since I dont know much about cars, but he gave really good advice and I ended up learning about basic car maintenance and saving money. Will definitely be coming here for my car maintenance needs.

The name may have changed (formerly Merchants) but the friendly, attentive and professional staff has stayed the same. I first went to this location because it was less than a mile from my home, but Ive moved and still come back here because of the service I receive. I cant stress enough how good these guys are at making sure everything is taken care of. Ive had bad luck this past year by seeming to find every road hazard possible, but I always know this NTB is going to make the process as easy as possible.Even on a busy Monday, Ive been in and out in an hour or less. Their tire prices are the best Ive found near me, and the staff is upfront and honest about what is needed. Theyre always incredibly kind, quick, and capable, so I know Ill keep coming back.

I brought our car into Merchants several weeks ago because the steering wheel was shaking and the front end pulled to the left (even after several front end alignments). Merchants promptly (and correctly) diagnosed an out-of-round tire (probably from a pothole incident) and recommended replacing the two front radials.I agreed, and the tires were replaced. I picked up the car and was told the price, which I paid. The receipt was then printed out and, when I arrived home, I found that Merchants had added two charges which I had not approved. In fact, they were never mentioned at all. One was a lifetime tire warranty and the other was lifetime wheel balancing. Together, the two charges accounted for an additional $70.I called the store asking for a refund, which was granted (following a dissertation on why tire warranties were good ideas). I inquired, in addition, whether it was company policy to discuss discretionary charges with a customer, such as the wheel balancing and tire warranty, before adding the charges to the bill. The employee said that it was, although it was not followed in this case.Its very important, in todays world of social media in particular, for companies to be honest with their customers. I The store forfeited a lot of good will simply by trying to pad the bill. Its a very short-sighted way to run a business.

I limped in late one day recently (after 6:00 PM). There was a big piece of metal in one of my tires. The staff took great care of me and my car. Quick in and out and reasonable prices. I went ahead and got two tires. It was needed. No hard sell and just generally good service.

Im never coming here again. I expected to pay 300 for tire installation AND they told me itll take 2 hours? I scheduled an appointment for 5pm and I expected my car to be serviced when I come in. It took 30 minutes for it to be taken in to he serviced! When you schedule an appointment, I expect to be served the time of my appointment not 30 minutes after. I had to cancel plans I had because of this.My total cost rang out to be 440. 140 dollars more than it needs to be. It included an 89.99 tire alignment. Im sorry a tire alignment does not cost that much. I needed my tires replaced so I had no choice. Next time Ill stop by BJs or Costco for my tires.

This place will rip you off if you dont know about car. I come only once and never come back. I know they are business so they need to fix a lot of things to get business running. But you need to remember that if you rip off, people wont come back. You get them only once but they wont come back again. I was here for a alignment and they told me that I need rotor brakes pad. They charges a lot of both. So lucky I did not fix it. I know how to do brakes myself. Its better to buy parts and let someone fix it instead bringing here. Never come again

Used to be Merchant and I did my oil change here. Merchant did brakes and they did overcharge me. After that, I did not come back again. After NTB took over, i want to give them a try. It is the same. I bring my car in for oil change, they said i need to replace this, i need to replace that. I just did my filter and they said it is dirty and I need to replace it. It is not dirty. How can it be dirty if I just replace it within 4 weeks? Also, they said i need a new brake pads. I can see that my brakes can last me more than 10k. I dont need it.

Good price, easy location, quick enough service. However, like every single tire installer, wheels were way over inflated and lugs way over torqued. An industry wide problem. Check when you get home if you can.

DisappointedIm always on the lookout for a dependable auto repair place. Came in for oil change which was supposed to include tire rotation and a few basic checks. I asked for the basic level and also presented my $5 off coupon. This would be an easy test. Guy at counter looked the car over and declared that I needed new tires for the upsale. My tires arent new, but they arent anywhere near worn out. I think he was just going through the motions as is heart wasnt really into the hard sell. He finished with ...well Im not going to rotate them. That annoyed me as I felt that should be my decision not his. Decided to get the oil change anyway. About 90 minutes later they were finished. He pecked away at the computer a bit including looking at my coupon a few times before concluding that the final due was $29. So much for their advertised $25 oil change, not to mention my coupon. Didnt argue, but chalked it up as yet another untrustworthy auto shop to avoid. Sigh...if you cant be honest on the little stuff why would I come back for anything major?

We had a flat tire on 495. We were towed here by AAA, the service was incredible, they were very honest with the work that needed done and explained what we were paying for allowed us to pick the tires and didn’t pressure us into purchasing the most expensive ones. We had an amazing experience, we were offered coffee, TV, WiFi. The service was timely and exactly what they told us. Everyone we were in contact with was wonderful.

I brought my van in for a realignment. This service was included for one year, with the tire purchase from them, this summer. They were courteous, professional and the van now drives like a dream. Fantastic job!! Thank you!

Tires are exepsnive herẹ. i bought it once and it was warranty. I went back and they said it does not cover. I wont buy tires from them again. They said warranty but u wont get it. Its better to use tires at Costco bc Costco is very easy to talk to..they replace tires for free or pay only a little. From now on, i wont come here again. Waste time and money. Costco is always the best when it comes to warranty

Worst company.

NTB was able to diagnose the issue with my tire and even though they didn’t have the replacement tire in stock, they were able to generate the documentation needed for me to source the tire elsewhere at roughly HALF the price my dealership wanted to charge. I got the tire from my dealership at NTB’s price thanks to their help. I brought the tire back to NTB and they were able to have it installed cheaper and faster than anyone else that I called could have done it. I hope I never need to get a new tire but if I do I’m definitely coming back to NTB.

A year after I got my brakes and rotors replaced here I started having issues, steering wheel was shaking when braking. I was told by a different mechanic that the rotors were installed incorrectly and caused them to warp. I would not recommend having your brakes replaced here.

NTB Staff went above and beyond to help. When we hit a pothole and needed to replace our tire unexpectedly NTB helped us find a location near us that had our tire in stock and was able to fit us in same day. They were friendly on the phone and in person and went above and beyond, helping us find a temporary work space in their waiting room while we waited and helping out with a special request. Having to replace a tire sucks but these guys made the experience a lot better.

Quick tire installation and great customer service

Friendly service which explains each bit of a repair. Took a bit longer than predicted, but not too long. They forgot to reset my maintenance light, but got in and fixed it quickly when I brought my car back, with no issues.

I have been going here for two years for basic tire maintenance and theyve always been pretty timely...until today. We waited in line for an hour and five minutes, and then were finally being helped when the sales guy says theyre out of 18 tires. There was one person working the desk and at no point did anyone else appear to help manage the line. I will no longer use Merchant for any car service.

Really nice staff. They honored my slightly expired free alignment and oil change was fast and cheap I didnt even have an appointment!
