The staff here are great. They take care of me even if I’m there just for a ring cleaning.
I have had to get my ring resized a total of four times now because they cant figure out how to correctly size my finger and make the ring the appropriate size. The first time I got it resized, it came back a size bigger! The last time my ring had to resized because it broke spontaneously (bad product), they resized it incorrectly AGAIN! I dont think the sales associates have a clue what they are doing. Ive only been engaged six months, and I have been without my ring more than I have had it. I would not recommend them to any friends or family. Does anyone know of another Kay Jewelers store in this area?
My visit there today was so bad we had to walk out.We buy ALL my jewelry there. We love your selection and prices, and the ladies are always really great and helpful with anything we need.Today is my birthday so my bf told me I could pick out whatever I wanted! We walk in and were greeted by a man that said the usual thing about asking him for help if we need him, and he asked what I was looking for. I told him I was going to wander around and look to pick something out for myself. He kept following us around, 3 feet behind me, a bit closer once! I was nice and told him TWICE I would ask him for help if I needed him. We walked all around the store trying to lose him. He KEPT following me, still about 3 feet away from me. I seriously had to KEEP telling him I was ok by myself but he wouldnt budge! We felt rushed, stalked and very annoyed so we ended up walking out before one of became rude with him.What in the world was his issue! He ruined our entire experience, and on my birthday no less.Im sure well come back, but we wont be coming in if we see him.I still gave 3 stars, would have been 5.

Went in for my 6 month cleaning and inspection. The employee didn’t even turn on Ultrasonic on. The point of the Ultrasonic is to reach places a brush can’t. All she did was scrub them with toothbrush. They were still dirty. Guess I’ll just have to buy my own Ultrasonic if I want my jewelry cleaned properly.
They are very short handed so plan on spending about an hour in there

They have been closed for months due to Covid, which we understand. I was advised that we would get an email stating when we could come in for our inspection.Never received one.When we do get a chance to go, they are closed for cleaning.We try again and they are closed. An hour earlier than what is says online.

The jewelry consultant was genuinely interested in what I was needing to purchase. She helped me find a beautiful sterling silver necklace at a price I could afford quickly. She was very knowledgeable about any questions that I had and made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. Thank you for a great shopping experience as I was nervous about it. I hadnt been jewelry shopping in many years. And the necklace is just gorgeous!
Me and my wife took her ring to get sized smaller from 6.5 to 5.5 size but before I took it I weighed it and it weighed a total of 14 grams and when we got it back it weighed 10.9 grams. So they stole a little over 3 grams of gold. Just 2 years ago they got caught switching diamonds and now they are stealing gold. My wife ring is smaller and the diamonds don’t line up and I paid 19 grand for a 4 carat ring. So weigh your gold before you take it cause 3 grams is 250 dollars cause gold is 2000 a ounce. They are crooks and I will never go back again.
Loved the entire experience!! My boyfriend and I first looked on their website, which has the prices of their rings. I loved knowing the exact price rather than with other sites you like a ring and have to call or come in just to see its out of your price range. Once we went to the store IEvon and Becky greeted us right away. We showed them what we were looking for and the never pushed towards more expensive things or treated us like we couldnt afford something. The exact ring I was interested in wasnt in the store so they ordered it and it came in before the end of the week. We ended up loving the ring once it came in and we ordered his wedding band there as well. Overall amazing experience!! I will shop there and recommend them to anyone again and again!!
I went into The Jewelry Store to have my diamond necklace inspected and cleaned. A special Thank you to the Salesman Mark, because he was extremely nice, professional and did an excellent job in cleaning my Beautiful piece. He didn’t realize that he made my Day bc I walked in as a 5 year Widow, whereas a few other couples were there as well. He took the time out to hear the short story behind my Beautiful 12,000 necklace, that I was able to purchase from selling the home of my Deceased Husband😢. Horrible store with extremely rude employees. Kay’s advertises that you have 30 days to return or exchange a watch but what they fail to tell you when you buy it, is that if they size it for you so it will actually fit, then it’s a final sale. BUYER BEWARE! Do not buy a watch from this store. I will never buy anything from Kay’s again because of this store. The employee copped an attitude the second I came in and said I wasn’t happy with my purchase and wanted to upgrade to better watch.
The customer experience at this store is above and beyond my expectations. The manager and the staff take the time to talk to you and make sure you are aware of specials ongoing and those to come. They make sure every question you ask is answered properly and professionally. We enjoy shopping here and love the Quality of the Merchandise offered for sale. This is the best Kay Jewelers we have shopped at. Thanks so much for making our shopping experience one we will remember for a long time!
This rating forced me to give Kay Jewelers at least one star. I wanted to give Kay Jewelers 0 stars. I will never shop here again. Kay Jewelers off Green River Road in Evansville, IN lost my wifes engagement ring and wedding band, or so that is what they claim. I believe the ring was stolen by one of the staff members. The staff was not appologetic and seemed as if they could care less. They expected us to continue to make payments on the engagement ring and wedding band even though they lost the ring. They wanted to replace the ring that was lost by having us pick out a new ring of the same value. My wifes engagement ring and wedding band is completely gone. Even though we have the replacement ring; it is not the same. The ring that I proposed to my wife with and the ring we got married with is gone! The manager of the store, Blake, is a complete snake. Do not trust him!
Absolutely horrible. The associates dont seem to have a clue what they are doing and customer service just gives you the run around. Find a trustworthy local store. These big franchises just steal your money. I am so disappointed.

The manager Blake is extremely helpful. I went to every store in Evansville and never experienced the service I had from him at Kay jewlers. I bought my engagement ring and he went through every option and gave me all the details I asked for. I bought a solitaire diamond off of one ring and set it on a diamond band. He went out of his way to have it repaired and sized in less than three days. He thanked me for my military service and let me know over and over how much he supported our troops. I will never shop at another jewelry store! If you are in the market for an engagement ring or any type of jewelry, go in and to Kays and ask for Blake and you will be extremely satisfied. Wonderful experience!
My husband bought my original wedding set in 2003. It had to be sent off a few times due to loose stones. In 2014, he upgraded my set to the same exact set and three years later, I have had to have it sent off for a 4th time. I am beyond upset. The set is gorgeous, but the quality is apparently not the thousands we paid for.
My spouse bought our wedding bands from here. Quality! Still after several years I am happy with our purchase.
This is the worst customer care ! SPENT $6.000. ON WEDDING rings and had the plan to set up for 12 months interested free.Went in today and they said I didnt have it and they charged me almost $300.00 in interest!! Manager was so rude and could not give a straight answer as to why.After trying to talk to him to get corporates number,He told us to Just get out.This store was in Evansville,Indiana on Green river road.I have filed a grievance and and spoke with several very nicewoman who will be looking into this and I will be talking to the district manager.

Poor customer service. Purchased a beautiful gift and they arent capable of sizing it without sending it to another jeweler. Taking a couple links out should be simple for a known chain store that only handles jewelry. Not sending it out for a couple weeks to another jeweler . Will not invest in gifts at this place again .

Weve shopped at Kay Jewelers for 25 yrs. Used to be a great place. That has now changed. At separate times, my wife and I purchased anniversary presents for each other. Both of us were deceived about our purchases and warranty cost. While no lies were told, we both felt like we were dealt with in a very rude deceptive way. I completely understand commission sales, but no customers (repeat customers) no commissions at all. Honest salespeople will always have a job. Dishonest ones are always looking for one.
They also lost my husbands wedding band and had to reorder the same ring and Blake did not get the reason why we were so upset about the ring being lost or why we no longer want to use our warranty when it can be lost in shipping. Each time we contact customer service we get a different response about resolving the issue. Each time he took his ring there it had been misplaced somewhere . We will not ever walk foot in this store again.
If you are looking to spoil your loved one this place, does one excellent job on making your stressful time finding the right thing enjoyable. I would definitely recommend anyone here.

This dump is an absolute joke. Ive spent thousands of dollars at Kays. I payed nearly $1200 to have a mens wedding band made in white gold that they only had in silver. For months its been blistering the skin off my finger and they keep saying they need to re-dip it. Thing is, I wore a white gold wedding band from Rogers Jewelers for 10 years and NEVER had to have it re-dipped. Kays solution? I need to trade in and spend another $1200 on a new ring!! Kays is a sham, dont do it!
Have delt with them for multiple rings and other occasions. There have been a few times when I wasnt completely happy but they did work hard to try to get me what I wanted. I like this place a lot. Great friendly manager and staff.

The professionalism at this Evansville location is definitely lacking. I own jewelry that was purchased for me with care plans at Kay Jewelers by both my husband and my mother. I have been getting most of my inspections done at the Terre Haute store and have received VERY friendly, professional, and courteous service. This month I happened to be in Evansville and took two pieces there for inspection. I dont know the name of the young guy who waited on me, but I was not at all pleased with his attitude. I had to give him 3 phone numbers (mine, my husbands, and my moms) before he could find my records on the computer. I was getting frustrated to say the least. He could apparently read my frustration because he made some kind of dumb comment like, smile, and I dont remember the rest of his offensive comment. I verbalized that I thought the Terre Haute location already had all my jewelry pieces loaded on the new computerized record keeping system properly. He proceeded to tell me how efficient his store is and how hes heard nightmare stories about what goes on at the Terre Haute location... didnt appreciate that because I always get good service there. I asked if he could look me up by name---said he couldnt. He finally found me under my moms phone number, which makes no sense to me. I was the recipient of these gifts; Im the owner. Note: I AM NOT A FAN OF THIS NEW COMPUTERIZED RECORD KEEPING SYSTEM WHERE I WALK OUT OF THERE WITH NO PROOF THAT I HAD MY INSPECTIONS DONE REGULARLY. I can see having a problem and the claim being denied because I have no proof of the regular inspections that I make sure of! He had to tell me how I wont need the papers I have been bringing in each time; I told him I LIKE the paper system. To that comment he reiterated that I wouldnt need it now and just brushed me off. The whole interaction was uncomfortable. I felt that he wanted to hurry up and be done with me-----I guess he keyed it in that he inspected my pieces, but Im not sure he actually did an inspection. The kicker is he brought my fine jewelry pieces back to me and placed them before me on a crumpled paper towel hed used in the quick cleaning he supposedly did. Wow! Always before my jewelry is placed on a jewelry display type thing before me until I can either put them back on and/or place them in my purse. He then walked off. I did not feel valued as a customer. I KNOW what good customer service should be since Ive worked customer service my entire life. Very disappointing. Unfortunately, my situation has changed where Ill be forced to use this Kay Jewelers for my inspections. Not looking forward to it. Its already an inconvenience that they moved out of the mall. Wouldnt dread it as much if the customer service were good.

BOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Completely clueless people here! My ring has (documented) proof its been inspected EVERY six months.... Their response, I just dont see it in our computer system, You will have to bring proof or youll be responsible to replace diamond. My proof came from your computer system!! Lets see, ummm, I am not gonna walk around with over a $7,500 ring and not keep efficient documents. Despite having prior issues, honestly this place sucks! Nobody has a clue what the other employees have or have not done.

My husband has bought me jewelry at Kay jewlers for years so my daughter has gotten her jewelry here recently she had her ring sent off to be fixed and they lost them they said its UPS fault it was a ring that was I handed down to her that her dad gave to me so it was special and 2/3 a karat they want to make her one with out her even seeing it she tried to file a police report and they said Kays has to the manager at evansville told her she can pick out a ring for 2 thousand dollars so she picked one out and it was two hundred dollars over she was going to pay the extra they said no they are treating her awful and they are the ones who lost her jewelry we will never do business with them again somebody stole not only my daughters but 24 other peoples jewelry dont shop here
Lied about the rings being in after we called and drove an hour, didnt come back till after the promise date Will NOT EVER be coming back to the Evansville Kay Jewelers!!! so unhappy with the whole experience.
