They are the best in my opinion have never had a major issue with them in the many years I have been going there. Great people to take care of you and a special shout out to Jeff for the excellent job he does to get you in and out when you have car trouble they have been nothing but fair to me and honest and up front with me. They are a lot of nice people from the bottom to the top and do there best to take care of your needs when you need help with your car.

I’ve always spoke highly of Romain and recommended them to anybody I knew that was looking for a car. I’ve gotten the majority of my cars from there but after the service I got today I really don’t know if I’ll be back. There was a recall on my Buick and since they don’t have loaner cars I had to use the courtesy shuttle to get home and (back to get my car) the driver Dave is amazing, great customer service but that’s where my great experience ended. When my car was ready I got a call that it was done so I let them know that I needed a ride back to get my car, after waiting a hour and a half for someone to get me I got fed up and decided to walk. I get a call from the service manager two hours after being told someone would come get me saying that something happened with the shuttle but it shouldn’t take two hours to tell me that something happened and I shouldn’t have to walk a hour to get my car I was offered a ride 30 minutes into my walk. Needless to say it’ll take a lot for me to come back if I need service to my car I think I’ll get it done out of town- Ex Romain customer

I used to do business with Luegers but since my retirement and move to Evansville that is no longer practical. My brother recommended your service department to me and I am grateful The slightly higher price was off set with my not having to drive to Jasper and spend a whole day getting the service I needed. I have bought many new cars in my life time and I must say, this was the best experience I can remember. The salesperson Jeramie Embry was great to deal with, the dealership was very fair and the total transaction was as smooth as they come. I entered the dealership at 10 a.m. and was on the road with my new car by 11 a.m. They were very prepared and helpful and spent plenty of time showing me all the new tec in my new car.

My dealings with Romain Buick GMC have been nothing but horrible! From beginning to end!! I would never recommend them to anyone! Theyre terrible to deal with. They dont return your calls and or messages. And on top of that, they sold me a bug infested SUV! Im still battling to get the SUV pest free with paying for fumigation treatments myself. Dont get me wrong, I do really like my vehicle, but I also would like for them to acknowledge all this trouble that Im going through. This infestation has been there for sometime & of course its my headache now. But as I stated before, no return calls, messages, etc. I should of known it wouldnt be any different from when we were first interested in purchasing the vehicle & got the run around for a week or so then. It amazes me how they are still in business with their customer service skills. So beware!!

Worst service ever! Had my Buick in for a tire leak in June and said they would order a new tire and give me a call when it came in. Never happened. Follow up call, no results. Had a regular oil change service in early August, still no tire. Called today, 4 weeks later, was sent to voice mail. Wont be buying my next Buick from Romain and will look for a new dealership to service my car!

I had to wait over an month to actually get my vehicle serviced. I have to reschedule 3-4 times because the dealership kept pushing back my appointment. I took 3 personal days without pay from work. I finally just told them l wasn’t taking anymore personal time off. I received a rental from the dealership while my car was getting serviced. Only to open the rental car back door to a ton of dog hair all over the back seat of the car. The trunk was dirty like someone hauled all kinds of stuff in it, the windows was dirty aIso. I went back into the dealership and told the front desk associate Kyler that the car was dirty and had dog or cat hair was all in the back seat. He said that he only checked the front and didn’t see the back or truck. The tire pressure light on the rental was on when l turned the car on. I reported everything to the dealership and took pictures to cover myself. That was my experience and it wasn’t pleasant.

I was expected at the appointment time and was greeted with a smile and warm welcome. I had a busy day and could not wait for service to be performed an was provided a loaner vehicle to use. I had called around lunch to see if my vehicle was ready and the receptionist was very friendly and prompt with the message that service was complete. Overall my experience was excellent. I will definitely be using Romain service again in the future!

I gave you a poor rating due to; I purchased the Captiva on 2/23. A couple of days after I couldnt get it started. I had my daughter come and jump the car and it started. Then it happened a second time, but this time no matter what I tried it wouldnt start. I then called the dealership and Jeff who told me he was the service manager and told me to call Dallas Towing and have it towed to the dealership. Jeff said it would be Monday before they could look at it. I waited until Monday afternoon for someone to call. I called the dealership and left a message for Jeff to call me back, but never received a call. I waited all day Tuesday for a call and didnt get one. I went to the dealership around 4pm on Tuesday a nice gentleman asked if he could help me and kindly took me to the service department. I waited a few minutes and Cole Render assisted me with getting everything taken care of for me. The things that were wrong with the Captiva all should have been caught on the 152 point inspection that the dealership advertises and boasts about when trying to sell a used vehicle. I feel the issues should have been fixed before going out on the lot for sale.

The AC in the van has already started to fail again less than one week from the service appointment. I feel as though I was mislead as to the warranty on this vehicle when it was purchased and shouldnt be having these type of issues on a vehicle with less than 38000 miles.

Really disappointed with service. I called and asked for a tune up expecting everything to be checked, especially since the check engine light came on last week. All that was done was an oil change, a tire rotation and filled up fluids. Check engine was still on and suddenly my tire magically has a nail in it where I coincidentally cannot see it. My tire has not been losing any air and has not notified me of being low so I was going to hold off because their tire replacement was $345 for a new tire. Since then I took my car to a different location to see why the check engine light was on and found out that my engine has corrosion and you can clearly see it when the dip stick is pulled out because there is crusting on it from the corrosion inside. Which is needing cleared out, it happens but I was neglected and not informed of this by the dealership. Also my tire is now losing air. Making me think that nail was just put in while we were there. When I turned my car on this morning it said my tire pressure was at 23 instead of 27. It has not said low tire pressure this entire time until this morning. The morning after I was told about the nail. Not only did I suddenly get a nail in my tire but I was told they wouldnt patch it because its too small or tight of an area. Well we just got it patched at another location so its possible. I feel like I spent an hour there just for an oil change and got no actual help for what my car really needed and Honestly I feel sabotaged and tried to get an extra 400 out of me.

This dealership is very unprofessional and dishonest. I recommend that if you are purchasing a used car from Romain, that you have it fully inspected by someone else. I tried to purchase a 2015 white Yukon XL Denali ( the one that is currently listed on the website for $29,533). I paid Romain my down payment traded my vehicle in, only to get on the road to head back to Indy and there was a loud vibration noise coming from the rear of the suv that started within 1 hour from me leaving the dealership to head back to Indianapolis. I contacted my Sales Rep “ Malcolm Cook” via text message Immediately to inform him about the issue. He stated he will check with Service the next morning. The next morning comes, and I come out and the truck would not start at all, even though there was a brand new battery installed before I picked up the vehicle. I was told by Malcolm to take it Ed Martin GMC in Indianapolis to have it checked out because Ben Wilkinson and Enrique Lopez told him they will fix it, and to ask for a loaner vehicle, well Ed Martin did not have a loaner vehicle so I forced to pay for a rental that Mr. Cook told me that Romain will pay for and the Diagnostic fee. ED Martin GMC informed that the vehicle was throwing multiple TRANSMISSION codes and that they still couldn’t find out why the truck wouldn’t start either. Romain did not pay for neither one, But Ben Wilkinson disrespectfully told me that he was NOT paying for the rental nor the Diagnostic fee. He stated he was unaware of the issues, ( Same thing Enrique said to my wife and I when he needed me to forward the paperwork from the service department) Ben wanted me to call and pay the diagnostic fee so that they will release the Yukon to the tow truck they sent to Indianapolis to tow it back to Evansville Indiana. Meanwhile I had to pay some drivers to drive to pick up my vehicle that I Initially traded in and to collect my down payment. I asked multiple times to speak to the owner about this situation while dealing with it and I was denied by Malcolm multiple times and Ben.Also Ben told Malcolm he would take $300 off listed price if I took the truck without them fixing the driver seat. I really felt insulted by that. Romain must have thought I did not know how much a new seat would cost. That was NOT FAIR at all for them to make that statement. I told them I wanted it fixed. So they agreed to fix it once it comes in. However I don’t if they have fixed it or not.Also the Yukon was posted back on the website for sale for an additional $2k, for before the tow truck had even had a chance to make it back to Evansville.If you buy a used car from Romain, DO NOT use Malcolm Cook for a sales representative. This Car lot It’s worse than a BUY HERE PAY HERE!

I scheduled an online appointment for a n oil change and tire rotation and received a confirmation for the time and date I asked for which was Tuesday, April 6th at 1pm. I arrived at 12:50 only to be told I had no appointment scheduled. I asked to have her check again and received the same answer--no appointment scheduled. I was told they would try to work me in or I could reschedule. I was told it would take an hour and a half or so to completion. I showed the confirmation text to the check in person and she told me they were having trouble with online reservations. Since I had no reservation even with a text showing a confirmed reservation it took approximately 1 1/2 hrs to complete this instead of the usual 45 minutes or so.If your online reservation system does not work you should not be using it and allow a former customer to show up with a text confirming an appointment yet still be told you have no appointment scheduled.This is not a good way to treat customers or what used to be a customer. Lets face it. Dealing with car dealers is about as fun as getting a root canal. You just assume there is going to be this cat and mouse game of negotiations and a hard sell from the sales staff. I recently made a used car purchase at this dealership and I was pleasantly surprised I didnt have to endure any of this. And that was because I dealt with sales associate Mr. Daniel Kimmel. The sales cycle was simple, direct, and the closing process incredibly easy. I appreciated Daniels honesty and forthrightness. If you need a new or used vehicle, go see Daniel and you will be treated right.

Went to Romaine and found a truck we wanted. While sitting in the parking lot we called to get the best price. We had an appointment at Kenny Kent for the same truck but a Chevrolet. Don at Romaine gave us a price that worked for us so we decided to go with the GMC. After our appointment we went back to Romaine. First we had to ask to be waited on. The guy who was totally ignoring us ended up making time to talk to us. He was a very young rude sales person. We told him we had been quoted a price but he said right off he wasn’t selling us the truck we wanted at the price we were quoted. I demanded he call the manager but he wouldn’t let me talk to him. Then after I demanded to speak to a manager he called him back and still would not let me talk to him until he told him Kenny Kent didn’t have the truck we wanted which was NOT the truth. We walked of course, but I’ve never been treated like that ever in a dealership. So if you need a GMC, drive on down the road to Mt Vernon. Don’t waste your time at Romaine. Expressway GMC gave us a killer deal and they were honest and nice and appreciated our business!

The last 3 oil changes at the dealershipthhe car wash has been broken or down this is somewhat upsetting. One of the reasons why I take multiple vehicles to the dealership is the car wash. They picked my vehicle up first thing in the morning & it was brought back 3 hours before I told them I needed it back. They checked everything I had requested and reset my oil percentage screen for me. Ive been told that when you receive an oil change from Romain that you receive a wash/vac. for free. I never get this service for some reason & Ive even spoke with Troy Henning about it and he said I should be getting that service when I get a oil change. Thats the only thing I would ask them to change. I would like to have the free wash/vac. with my oil change if its supposed to be part of the job.

Ive never been to a dealership that has blatantly told me Theres no negotiating here! We dont even negotiate on $50,000 vehicles! Really? My grandfather purchased a pre-owned Lacrosse from you guys a couple years ago and you were more than willing to give him a chance to negotiate. If youre going to try to sell me on Theft Guard, then at least let me talk money with you instead of telling me it doesnt matter if Im financing or paying cash. If the way you do business has changed then thats fine, but dont sit there and look at me like Im a fool because I want to negotiate a little with you. Took my car in to get it fixed. They were fast and did a good job. They scratched my car pretty bad. I tried calling them when I got my car back from service as I didnt notice the scratch until I got home. When I called they said none of the managers were there and I would get a call back the following business day. I never received a phone call and I have called back 4 or 5 more times. Each time the manager is either not there or in a meeting and never calls me back. It has been a month and I have not heard anything. Very disappointed in the customer service there. Once they take your money they are pretty much done with you.

Sad Management & Poor Communication Skills.I attempted to purchase a vehicle from this facility. I called today to notify them that the bank gave the go ahead and waited 3 hours for a return call, receiving nothing. I then called back and was told that the vehicle we were planning to purchase was being shown to someone else. I requested to speak to the owner to inform him/her of the actions of his team and was denied. This place does not do honest business, do not buy from this dealership.
