My son brought his car in for a new radiator fan because Jiffy Lube next door left the cap on the radiator loose, and the car overheated and cracked the radiator, and the car stopped working. A1 told my son he needed a new radiator fan. So my son left the car. They ordered the part, and it was delivered the next day. I think I need to mention my son is only 21 first car. They charge him $250.00 for a new fan ($79.00) and $350.00 for labor. Interesting enough the website says $59.99 an hour for labor. According to the manager, they worked on the car for 5 hours.Interestingly enough, the part came the next day; they opened at 9:00 am, and my sons car was done at 10:15 am. So no, it took 1 hour, not five, and they ripped him off. The manager also works for Jiffy Lube because he tried to hold my sons keys until he talked to the Jiffy Lube manager.I will defiantly be reporting them to the BBB and the Attorney General.Jeep dealership charges $332.00 to install a radiator fan assembly. However, it shouldnt take more than 1 to 2 hours.is this what it has come to ripping off young people.

Ive taken a couple of my European cars here over the years for misc. maintenance/repairs. I normally take my Porsche elsewhere but live in Evanston and A1 Auto is more convenient. Took my Porsche in for an abbreviated 60k service. My overall impression is that A1 Auto does good thorough work at a reasonable price without attempting to pad the bill with unnecessary work that may be easy and profitable for the shop...like brake work. I mention this because Ive had another shop tell me I need brakes for this car when it really didnt.

Passed the emissions test thank you. Ask for Mark or Walter. Car hasnt run this smooth since I bought it. Definlty coming back for any future repairs.

Nice guys but RIP off artist excuse me. Got charged 224 for an oil change and a under body cleaning. Which I never agreed upon. I just paid it because the work was already done. Not going back again

I just picked up my E350 Mercedes, and these guys are awesome. Mark was a huge help . Im the first to admit that I dont know much about cars, but Mark made everything easy to understand without talking down to me or selling me services that I didnt need. The whole A1 Auto Care is professional, efficient, and effective, and its obvious that they like what they do. This was my first time bringing my Mercedes there, and they have definitely won my business for good.

Took my truck to a local Audi dealership for a check engine light their quote for repairs was $6500. I wanted a second opinion. I brought it to A1 auto care, had them look it over and what a pleasant surprise $1300 for repairs not the $6500+ Audi recommended .Work was done quickly and at a fair price.Thanks Mark, keep up the great work
